We’re very glad to see that Paris Jackson is feeling better these days. The only daughter of Michael Jackson has really been through the emotional ringer since her famous father passed away, battling a substance abuse problem and even considering suicide. Back in September, Jackson shared a heartbreaking video of herself in tears, opening up about cyberbullying and the horrible toll it has taken on her. You should go watch it . Now, however, it appears as though Paris is on an upward trajectory in life. She has reconciled with her mother (who is sadly battling breast cancer) and she’s spending time with a relative you may not have even known she has. We speak of Macaulay Culkin, who is Paris Jackson’s godfather. No, really: Macaulay Culkin is Paris Jackson’s godfather! The former Home Alone star was famously close to Paris’ father, so we guess we shouldn’t be too shocked by this piece of information. But it still sounds weird, doesn’t it? Jackson and Culkin actually hang out a decent amount, with the former posting the above picture of the two joking around this fall to her Instagram page. And now Paris has gotten the attention of the Internet with a new image of Culkin, one in which she’s… … giving the child actor a pedicure? Apparently! “Model? nah i paint hipsters toenails for a living,” Paris captioned two side-by-side photos of herself giving Culkin a touching up with a dark pink or purple polish while he laughs. Culkin has remained close to Michael Jackson’s kids ever since the iconic entertainer died in 2009. And it’s clear that Jackson could use as much love and affection in her life as possible, based on what she said in the aforementioned YouTube video. “I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now,” the teenager said at the time. She continued, sharing her past experiences of pain and suffering. “When I was 14 I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself and I took, like, a two-year break from social media and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did. And nothing changed. “I’m just tired of it. I’m just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I’m not the only one.” Of the victims of bullying, Paris concluded: “We got hearts and brains and feelings, and when you say damaging things like that to people, it f–ks ’em up.” Tragic stuff, wouldn’t you say? No one deserves to feel this way. So while we posted this story and this photo of Jackson and Culkin sort of as a joke, we very much mean it when we say we’re glad Paris has Macaulay. We’re glad to see her smiling. We’re glad to see her living her life to the fullest. We hope she continues to do so.

The 18-year old uploaded an emotional video on Wednesday night, one that featured her breaking down in tears while talking about online trolls who have made turned her life into a nightmare. “I don't understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now,” the teenager said. “I've tried sticking up for myself. I've tried the whole blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments, I've tried a lot of things. Ignoring it. “But it's hard.” Jackson, of course, has suffered through a difficult childhood. She lost her famous father at the age of 11 and, let's face it, life with Michael Jackson as your dad was likely its own challenge for a kid. She attempted suicide in 2013 and admitted this summer that she has tattoos on her arms to cover up scars from past instances of self-harm . But Paris did write in June that things are looking up for her. “We all go through hell every now and then but it makes us the warriors of love we were meant to be. So to anyone struggling, it gets better. You're not alone,” she wrote at time. She's one of the sweetest girls in the world and people are telling her to kill herself! I mean we're human beings, man! “We got hearts and brains and feelings, and when you say damaging things like that to people, it f–ks 'em up.” Jackson, who deleted the video soon after making it (but this is the Internet, nothing is ever really deleted), ended the footage by apologizing “for the rant” and added: “It's some stuff that I've been holding in for a long time. She and her boyfriend, Michael Snoddy are living in her late father, Michael Jackson’s Encino, CA home together, and sources tell Page Six that the two – who have been dating for six months – might already be married . Snoddy, a drummer with Street Drum Corps in L.A., quit his job as a pizza delivery boy for D’Amore’s Pizza in Malibu, CA back in July. In many of his Instagrams, Snoddy is seen wearing a gold band. He and Jackson also refers to themselves a lot as a “family” in their photo captions. “Michael [Snoddy] quit his job around July and they moved into the house where Michael [Jackson] grew up,” a Jackson source told the gossip column. “Now they’re trying to do this happy family thing. They refer to themselves as a family a lot.” Michael Jackson grew up in the Encino home before moving to his Neverland Ranch, but it’s being fought over by his mom, Katherine Jackson and his estate. Jackson herself gets a reportedly $8 million allowance annually, and prior to the move lived in a seven-bedroom home in Calabasas, CA with her brothers, Michael Jackson Jr, 19 and Blanket, 14. The heiress to the Jackson fortune first denied rumors of marriage and/or pregnancy back in August, just the latest round trolling she’s had to suffer in the past couple of years. “so many marriage and pregnancy rumors just in the past 3 years. literally???” a now-deleted tweet read. “what’s next, me running for president? my boyfriend and i become super villains and try to take over the world come on now.” In happier news, Jackson has reportedly mended fences with her estranged mother , Debbie Rowe. According to TMZ , Rowe has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and must undergo chemotherapy and radiation. Once Jackson found out, she reached out to Rowe, and has been part of her the nurse’s support system ever since. This past Mother’s Day, Rowe spoke out about her non-existent relationship with Jackson. “One of the saddest things in this world is to see a child grow up hating one of their parents because they only got one side of the story,” Rowe wrote on Facebook. Rowe was married to the King of Pop from 1996 to 1999, but became estranged from her daughter two years ago, blaming it on influence from the Jackson family. At this age he doesn’t notice the differences.” “But one day, he might.” “If you believe it, he will,” none other than Teresa offered when Jacqueline expressed her fears, concerns and hopes for Nicholas’ future. “I can’t even understand what Jacqueline is going through,” she told the cameras later. “It breaks my heart into, like, a zillion pieces.” “If you ever have a bad day, always feel free to call me,” Teresa said, and most incredibly of all, it seemed like she actually meant that. To the cameras, Jacqueline admitted that “it’s nice to have her ask about me and really listen,” and that perhaps this was a real breakthrough. Teresa admitted that she wasn’t there for Jacqueline and Nicholas as much as she would have liked, thanks in large part to her legal woes. She didn’t say point blank that she regretted this, but it was implied. As much as it can be considering we’re talking about Teresa here. The late, great Michael Jackson, who passed away long before his time on June 25, 2009, would have been 58 years old today. The defining entertainer of his generation and beyond, Michael’s groundbreaking music and cultural impact are literally peerless. He forever changed the music landscape, inspiring countless artists, breaking every record and leaving an unparalleled legacy. Long before Jackson passed away, but even more so after he did, his work became as iconic, and his personal life was eccentric. If you’re looking for scandals, controversy and crazy stories that are uniquely, well, Michael Jackson, you need not look very far. Fans remember him for his music and compassion, however; MJ’s charitable contributions were almost as numerous as his #1 hits. Most of all, he would surely like to be remembered for raising Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson, who feel his loss most deeply. Here’s wishing his family and friends the best on this occasion, which has given way to celebrations of MJ for his last eight birthdays. Adele is on the Vancouver leg of her tour, and on Tuesday she popped into Catfe , a restaurant where customers can enjoy food and drink. But anyway: One of the cafe’s baristas, Leona Morrison, was approached by Adele, and at first had no idea who the singer was. The barista informed Adele that the establishment was at maximum capacity due to a 12-year-old’s birthday party. What happened at that point was epic. Morrison told the Vancouver Sun: “My co-worker was about to tell her that she looked like Adele, when she told us that she is Adele, and she asked if she could come in, if even for a few minutes.” “We said … OK.” Adele proved to be a hit with both the cats and the birthday party attendees. She played with Larry the cat, who managed to get adopted by a family. “I think she went up to Larry because he was available, and also he’s just amenable,” Morrison said. “He’s a friendly guy. The entire Jackson family is reportedly “terrified” over her outrageous behavior and believes things could get out of control fast. At issue? Radar published shocking photos of Jackson and her much older man while on vacation in Palm Springs, California. Jackson and Snoddy have been inseparable since they started dating just a few months ago, when she broke up with Chester Castellaw . She and Michael (Snoddy) met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in L.A., and immediately hit it off … but are they off the wagon? After she was seen buying Heineken beer on Wednesday, it’s understandable why those close to Paris are fearing the worst. According to a source close the the Jackson family, “Paris is 18 now and there is not really much that anyone can do to stop her.” Wouldn’t the law stop her from drinking, on a side note?
