John Galliano Found Guilty of Hate Crimes

John Galliano was found guilty of hate crimes in a Paris court yesterday. The fashion designer, who claimed a drug problem was the basis for his Anti-Semitic rant in February, received a light sentence on Thursday, as a judge issued a suspended fine of 6,000 euros ($8,500), as well as a symbolic one euro fine to one of the plaintiffs in the case. Galliano will not serve any jail time. Said the attorney for the former House of Dior employee: “It’s a fair decision and a wise decision by the tribunal. Mr Galliano is relieved after several months. He wishes to apologize and he acknowledges that he caused harm. I think he’s relieved that all this is now behind him.”

Paris Hilton Sets Sights on DJ Career (Really)

With her terrible show axed , Paris Hilton has time on her hands. If nothing else, you have to give the girl credit for always trying to expand her empire. To that end, she is training to become a DJ, according to TMZ. Seriously. The ho-tel heiress has been traveling the world to shadow some famous DJs to get some guidance for her upcoming house music album. Hilton is recording right now with David Guetta, and has become tight with Afrojack and Deadmau5, among other big names in the dance music genre. Paris fancies herself the “Queen of house music” in training, in part because she loves it, and because “no woman has ever taken over in that arena.” She thinks she can be that girl. Do you? Is Rihanna seriously still on vacation? What the hell? Shouldn’t she be shaking it on stage somewhere or practicing her robotic vocal scales? Some of us have to work you know. Luckily she’s still sort of rocking a bikini, or at least half a bikini, so I’m alright with it. The woman’s got a great body and now that her hair is a normal color, I like her even more. I think she should invite me down to whatever gorgeous island she’s on… I need to work my tan, my ass is so pale. Of course I tan in the nude.
