Here name is LAUREN WASSER ….her instagram is @theimpossiblemuse….and she’s fascinating… I saw her pictures a week ago because I follow Paris Hilton’s actual BFF, not that twat from her reality show FOTOFETISH …. I was obviously compelled by the fact she was misssing a leg, figuring that this was just another progressive move by the fashion industry to be different, or obscure, like what they are doing with all the plus sized models….or trans models…or really anyone who isn’t a conventional model…while still having the look of a conventional model, because when looking at her, you can tell she’s a legit model… I just assumed she had a motorcycle accident with some drunk billionaire she was dating…but it turns out the story is much more evil corporation than that…. She lost her leg because of Toxic Shock Syndrome…something you may remember learning about in Health Class, or from some hipplie chick in the late 90s showing off her “Keepa Menstrual Cup”….but that you probably haven’t heard of since, since you don’t get your period… The idea is that shoving a tampon in you, seeing as it is a foreign object, normally not sterile, and made with chemicals, fucks up your system, directly to your blood source, causing a bacterial infection that can lead to death or I guess amputation… The story of her realizing she was sick, to being hospitalized is terrifying, but she’s still here even after heart attack to tell the story and remind girls that this exists and is an issue, She’s also in the process of suing Kotex / Kimberly Clark and getting things more regulated in goverment…because this should not happen to anyone…. I am sure she will win, but hope it makes a lot of fucking noise, because clearly corporate negligence when you know they know better and have the resources to prevent this is a bigger issue than being able to breast feed in a park..when you already can… #freethetampon. because your period shouldn’t kill you, but rather be a celebration that I didn’t knock you up…. Kim And Kanye To Forego Directional Baby Name In Favor Of Family-Related Name Looks like there’s no chance of getting a South-By-South West… According to TMZ reports : Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are ditching the compass when it comes to naming baby #2 … we’ve learned there will be no sequel to North West. Sources close to the couple tell us there’s NO CHANCE their new bundle will be inspired by direction, like their firstborn. Everyone’s been speculating they’d go with something like South, East or even Easton — but we’re told there’s simply no direction in play. The main reason, we’re told … is they want the name to be strong. With North, there was a power element because it’s always on top, or pointing up. The other 3 just don’t have that swagger. Our sources say right now they’re leaning toward something more traditional … with a family-related influence. Think less ‘K’ name … and more likely something connected to Kim or Kanye’s late parents, we’re told. Kim’s due in December, so they’ve got time to sort it out. Perhaps they’ll even go seasonal … Winter West has a nice ring to it, but no word on the sex yet. According to CNN reports : Despite being sapped by a nasty flu for much of the last week, the American beat Lucie Safarova 6-3 6-7 (2) 6-2 to win the French Open on Saturday and claim a landmark 20th major. “It seems a little bit like a dream,” Williams told reporters. “Like, is this really my life? Is this really happening right now? So yeah, it’s really kind of weird.” Heading into Saturday, it looked as if Williams might be vulnerable against Safarova, the 13th seed who was making her debut in a grand slam final. Williams said via a question-and-answer session released by the tournament Friday she had been suffering from the flu and “collapsed” after her draining, comeback victory in three sets in the semifinals against Timea Bacsinszky. She didn’t practice Friday, either, opting to stay at her apartment in Paris and rest. “She had so much fever,” said Mouratoglou. “She stayed in bed the whole day. She tried to walk a little bit. It wasn’t brilliant so she came back.” The Frenchman added that on Saturday her condition improved and the fever disappeared. “I hit a little bit today in the morning and I hit them pretty well,” said Williams. “I was just like, ‘Okay, I have been playing for over 30 years, I know I can at least play tennis.’ After that I just went out to play a match.” When Williams went off court just before the final was about to begin, a dramatic afternoon seemed on the cards. It ended up that way, though no one would have predicted it when Williams surged to a huge lead in the second set. Rallying from a set down to overcome Anna-Lena Friedsam, Victoria Azarenka, Sloane Stephens and then Bacsinszky, overturning a 2-0 deficit in the third was merely child’s play for Williams.
