Amber Portwood Jailhouse Interview: Teen Mom Star Discusses 5-Year Sentence

Amber Portwood, fresh off being sentenced to five years in prison , opened up about it with Good Morning America LIVE from the big house this morning. The Teen Mom star Amber Portwood had become so depressed in rehab that she tried to overdose on pills, which prompted her to bail altogether. She instead that she enter prison instead, and having violated the rules of her probation repeatedly, a judge felt he had no choice but to oblige. Amber Portwood Jailhouse Interview A shackled Amber spoke with Good Morning America today, claiming, “I had taken 30 Suboxone [a drug used to treat opioid addictions] within three days.” “The depression took over. I would take 4-5 at a time.” “It got to a point where I felt like I’d rather do my time and get it over with, and make the best of a situation that’s been handed to me. I’m not just going to sit. I’m going to do substance abuse classes. I’m going to get my GED.” That’s … admirable in a weird way? It still makes no sense, since Amber Portwood had an opportunity to receive out-patient treatment without prison, even after she was jailed for contempt of court for flaking on mandatory drug tests, but opted for prison anyway. Wonder if she’ll rethink “getting it over with” in 2016 … when she’s STILL IN THERE.

Paris Jackson on Wearing Masks as a Kid: Weird!

The strangeness of wearing masks all the time as a child is not lost on Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris, though she respects his reasoning behind it. It was one of the most enduring images from Michael’s bizarre life – stepping out with his kids hidden behind masks – at the time and to this day. Paris Jackson , 14, tells Oprah Winfrey she was as perplexed as anyone. “I was really confused,” Paris admits in an interview to air Sunday. “I didn’t get why I was always wearing a mask. But I understand it now.” “The reason why my dad would want our faces to be covered … it was so when we went out without him we wouldn’t be recognized .” Thanks to her late father’s efforts, she says, “We had a normal childhood,” including trips to the mall, the arcade and Chuck E. Cheese’s. “He told us that he didn’t really have a childhood,” says Paris. “He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing.” “Really, he just wanted us to have that. ” One thing’s for sure, the King of Pop really knew what he was doing in the child-rearing department. Paris, Prince and Blanket all seem like remarkably normal, respectful and well-adjusted young people. Respect. [Photo: WENN.com]

Axl Rose Robbed After Paris Concert

Thief reportedly stole three gold-and-diamond necklaces valued at $200,000 after frontman wrapped a Guns N’ Roses show. By John Mitchell Axl Rose Photo: Getty Images Axl Rose was robbed of $200,000 in jewelry after a Guns N’ Roses concert in Paris on Tuesday. The thief reportedly made off with three of the legendary frontman’s gold-and-diamond necklaces. A Paris police spokesman said that the theft occurred during a private gathering after the band’s show at the city’s Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy stadium. An investigation into the incident has been opened by police, who report Rose did not appear to be wearing the necklaces when the theft occurred. The theft is the latest news-making incident to plague the band’s European tour. Fans at Guns N’ Roses’ May 31 concert at London’s O2 Arena were angered when security stopped anyone wearing a T-shirt featuring former lead guitarist Slash and asked them to remove it or be denied entry to the venue. “We were told by the management not to allow anyone into the O2 Arena who is wearing a Slash T-shirt, and we are asking anyone who is to remove it, and if they refuse, they will be turned away,” O2 Arena security told British music magazine NME. Rose is the only original member of Guns N’ Roses that remains in the band and he recently received widespread criticism over his decision to not attend the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . He said his decision was “personal” and not “meant to offend, attack or condemn” any of his former bandmates. However, in a letter posted to the band’s Facebook page, Rose declared that his decision to “respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N’ Roses” was principally based on who the Hall decided to induct as members of the band. “I feel we’ve been polite, courteous and open to an amicable solution in our efforts to work something out,” Rose wrote. “Taking into consideration the history of Guns N’ Roses, those who plan to attend, along with those the Hall — for reasons of their own — have chosen to include in ‘our’ induction … and how those involved with the Hall have handled things … [it] doesn’t appear to be somewhere I’m actually wanted or respected.” (Rose was booed in absentia by attendees at the Rock Hall induction ceremony.) Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to play in Moenchengladbach, Germany, on Friday before returning to France for a series of shows in Strasbourg, Toulouse, Clisson, Montpellier and Toulon as part of their European tour, which runs through July 22. Demi Lovato Opens Up About Bipolar Disorder

‘I felt relieved when I found out,’ ‘X Factor’ judge tells Cosmopolitan in July issue. By John Mitchell Demi Lovato on the cover of the July issue of Cosmopolitan Photo: Cosmopolitan Demi Lovato is opening up about her bipolar disorder in the July issue of Cosmopolitan, telling the magazine that being diagnosed was a relief because it meant she could treat the problem. “I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it,” Lovato says in the July issue. “It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.” The new “X Factor” judge revealed earlier this year in her MTV documentary that her issues manifested themselves in self-harm, including an eating disorder and self-medicating that resulted in a stay at the Timberline Knolls treatment facility in Illinois. “I had so many issues that were underneath, that needed to be taken care of, and we kept putting Band-Aids over it. It literally drove me insane. I was not eating, and purging, and self-harming. It was really difficult to be able to stop,” Lovato recalled to MTV . “This is a daily battle that I will face for the rest of my life. Everyone kind of made me a role model, and I hated that. I was partying, I was self-medicating. I was always stressing out. I felt like I was living a lie. I felt guilt and shame. I decided to take it out on myself. I harmed myself. It was my way of taking my own shame and my own guilt out on myself, and I was just depressed.” Having gotten the help she needed and with her new high-profile gig on “The X Factor” opposite Britney Spears, the pop star is back on the right path now, and she tells Cosmopolitan that she sees herself with a family in the not-too-distant future. “I want to be married with kids in 10 years,” Lovato revealed. The 19-year-old singer/actress’ past struggles have given her a new perspective on dating as well, teaching her that she should not rush to judgment when it comes to guys — with the exception of one characteristic that she simply will not abide. “I don’t have many deal breakers. I’ve done so much in my life, it doesn’t feel right to judge other people,” Lovato tells the mag. “Oh, I know one quality I won’t tolerate. I would never be with a guy who is controlling.” Related Videos ‘Demi Lovato: Stay Strong’ Related Artists Demi Lovato

Kanye West’s Custom-Built ‘Cruel Summer’ Cinema: Take A Look Inside!

The Cannes premiere of West’s film was held inside a tented pyramid designed to create an effect of ‘levitation,’ according to designers. By James Montgomery Kanye West and Kim Kardashian attend the “Cruel Summer” premiere at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival Photo: Getty Images When Kanye West premiered his “Cruel Summer” film last week at Cannes, he did so in his usual, uh, understated manner: projected on seven video screens inside a tented pyramid on the Mediterranean Sea. It was a stylistic choice meant to represent “a post-Steve Jobs, post-Windows era … where your mind puts the screen back together, the way you put memories together … like the experience of life” (so said West in a speech before the premiere). But if you weren’t lucky enough to attend the film’s gala opening — which is to say, if you weren’t Kim Kardashian or Jay-Z — those words probably don’t hold much meaning to you. But now, you can get a glimpse at what it was like to be inside that tented pyramid, as a series of photos of the venue — and the multitude of strategically placed video screens — have hit the Web. Designed by international firm OMA , who have built eye-popping venues in cities like Beijing, Montreal and, uh, Syracuse, the “temporary pavilion” featured seven screens “of cinematic proportions,” and was envisioned as “a constellation of projections that wrap around the audience.” The pyramid itself was created “to create an effect of levitation above the red carpet,” and attendees “ascend[ed] into the pyramid along a continuous red carpet that widen[ed] into the 200-seat auditorium.” The entire projected was site-specific collaboration between OMA, West’s own DONDA collective and Cannes-based production team Ar’Scene. “Cruel Summer,” inspired by West’s upcoming G.O.O.D Music compilation of the same name, stars Kid Cudi as a car thief who falls in love with a blind Arabian princess. The 30-minute film was co-directed by Alexandre Moors, who previously worked with West on his videos for “Runaway” and “N—as in Paris,” and was shot entirely in Qatar in the Middle East. My name is Kim, I’m 13 years old, I live in Paris, France…

My name is Kim, I’m 13 years old, I live in Paris, France & this is my Bieber experience. I was at a radio broadcast and they had to choose 2 people to attend the interview where Justin would be. I was chosen to get to go! When Justin arrived, my heart stopped beating. JUSTIN BIEBER, my idol was in front of me. I was in the seventh heaven. The interview went well and Justin even spoke about some words in French and threw us candy. He was really adorable. The presenter then announced to us that Justin was going to look for one girl in the crowd to give 2 VIP passes for the concert the next day! What you had to do was answer Justin’s question correctly! Justin had to ask the question, “What is the first song that I recorded in studio?” Beliebers raised their hand, one answered “One time.” I had to raise my hand, Kenny and Justin pointed at me. Justin smiled to me and said, “What?” I answered, “COMMON DENOMINATOR” It was the right answer. Justin said to me, “Yeah come here” I came over to him, he gave me a kiss and the VIP tickets! OMYGOD I could not believe it! After his broadcast ended, I was crying, it was so hard to breathe. I got to take a photo with Justin and the other girls who were in my row. By going to NRJ  radio, I was so happy. I wish you all get to meet Justin, to live what I lived, it was really magic, I love him so much. Justin has to change my life, to never say never, because when we believe in it, we obtain. One week ago I felt depressed in my room and today look what I am writing. Dreams do come true. -@kimdrauhl View post: My name is Kim, I’m 13 years old, I live in Paris, France…
