Saudi Woman Beats up Virtue Cop

t was a scene Saudi women’s rights activists have dreamt of for years. When a Saudi religious policeman sauntered about an amusement park in the eastern Saudi Arabian city of Al-Mubarraz looking for unmarried couples illegally socializing, he probably wasn’t expecting much opposition. But when he approached a young, 20-something couple meandering through the park together, he received an unprecedented whooping. A member of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, the Saudi religious police known locally as the Hai’a, asked the couple to confirm their identities and relationship to one another, as it is a crime in Saudi Arabia for unmarried men and women to mix. For unknown reasons, the young man collapsed upon being questioned by the cop. According to the Saudi daily Okaz, the woman then allegedly laid into the religious policeman, punching him repeatedly, and leaving him to be taken to the hospital with bruises across his body and face. Real Housewives of New Jersey Reality Check: Jersey Boys Don’t Cry

Last week on the Real Housewives of New Jersey , Danielle sacrificed her virginal 15-year-old daughter to the fashion industry in exchange for trips to Milan and trash bags full of cash. Danielle came one step closer to realizing that dream during last night’s episode, “Catty Walk,” when her daughter worked the runway at New York Fashion Week — and when I say worked the runway, I mean that the poor girl dry-heaved until she was escorted out of the show while her oblivious mother chatted up anyone with a microphone. Meanwhile, in a tent across the park, 10 months-pregnant Teresa watched as her kindergarten-aged daughter introduced the fashion world to the Gia Giudice street walk — part attitude, part hooker hip shake. So please, follow us down the runway for last night’s real and fake jackpot winners.

‘American Idol’ Movie Night: What Should The Top 4 Sing?

Here are our top song suggestions for the remaining contestants. By Eric Ditzian “American Idol” Top 4 Photo: FOX Welcome, y’all, step right this way! Take your seats for Songs of the Cinema Night on “American Idol,” where every track on the approved list seems to have been selected by a 13-year-old boy circa 1987 or a middle school girl with a huge Disney crush. How else can we explain the presence of tunes from “Ghostbusters,” “Caddyshack,” “Top Gun,” “Rocky” and “Rocky III”? And cuts off “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King” and “Tarzan”? It certainly can’t be because those songs are good fits for the talents of Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze and the rest of the “Idol” top four. Suitable tunes are few and far between for the contestants this Tuesday night (May 11), and mentor Jamie Foxx will have a tall task in front of him. Luckily he’s had some practice shaping these reality-show hopefuls, having guided the singers last year during Rat Pack Week. With just one show to go until we hit the top three and begin the ever important home visits, the stakes are high going into the show. Here are our picks for the songs that best fit each singer — the songs that might have them hanging on for another week. Crystal Bowersox – Last week, MamaSox made the very convincing argument that she needn’t always chose a big, high-impact song simply because she’s on “American Idol.” Alas, that’s wishful thinking on the part of this season’s most talented contestant, one who’s never seemed entirely comfortable in front of the spotlight. After two lovely, if ordinary performances, it’s time for Crystal to go big again. That’s why we have our eye on “I Will Always Love You,” the song Whitney Houston reintroduced to the public in “The Bodyguard.” But before Houston came Dolly Parton, whose country version became a hit in the ’70s and which she recorded for the 1982 film, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” MamaSox should take her inspiration from Parton’s version, infusing it with some Joplin-style blues. If she goes in this direction, it could be a big night for the dreadlocked 24-year-old. Lee Dewyze – Well after the original song list was released, an updated version hit the Web. The biggest surprise? Prince’s “Purple Rain.” There’s simply no way “Idol” producers went to the trouble of clearing this song if someone’s not going to sing it. And we’d like that lucky crooner to be Dewyze. The 24-year-old has had his biggest successes with slow, expressive rock tunes. “Purple Rain” is just funky enough that it would still mesh well with the contestant we’ve come to know while at the same time showing us some welcome range. Michael Lynche – Here comes our most predictable song choice: Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose.” The simple fact of that matter is that we think Big Mike should play it safe this week and stay well within his comfort zone. He’s coming off an admirable take on Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.” In the past, we’ve seen him veer away from a jazzy, R&B vibe after a successful performance and indulge light indie-rock tuneage. That’s not what works best for the contestant who most clearly wants to — needs to — win this show. He can knock “Kiss From a Rose” out of the park, and that’s exactly what he should do. It’s his best bet to make it into the top 3. Casey James – We had our eye on Glen Hansard and Mark

Taylor Momsen is Scary Looking in Hosiery of the Day

I’m not digging Taylor Momsen. Not because she’s under 18 and that would be illegal in most states, but because she’s got a pretty fucking scary looking face that doesn’t really excite me, but kinda makes me want to throw stale bread at her in the park, cuz she’s got some kind of hungry, pre-mature, scraggly bird in the ghetto park feel to her. I am however digging her “Hosiery”. I’ve never been one with a pantyhose fetish. I’ve always hated burlesque and throwback pin-up girls, I’ve never tried to dress my wife up like a stripper from the 50, or a sex scene from an 80s movie, I was always just more into pussy, and the other shit was just distraction, but I’ve been walking down the street a lot the last few weeks because my wife locks me out some days, and I’ve actually seen bitches in shorts, or skirt rockin’ the garter belt, and the thigh highs, and I’m starting to really like the shit out of the bedroom and in the fucking public….So despite Taylor Momsen being skinny the way I like my bitches, today’s post is not to celebrate that about her and remind the fat girls reading that if they cut out 500 calories a day, they will lose a pound a week and 52 pounds in a year, but to remind all girls to put on the pantyhose like a secretary in the 70s, so that I have more reason to live while on the streets. Thanks in advance. Cunt. Pics via Fame

Octomom Nadya Suleman Expressed Refusal For A Reality TV Show

foxnews Known as the OCTOMOM in the media, Nadya Suleman feels that the moniker makes her like a “carnival attracttion”. In the Oprah Winfrey Show, Suleman – who gave birth to eight live newborns last January 2009 — said she would never allow her children to be the subject of the reality show. Via satellite from Studio City in California, Suleman spoke to Oprah and said she takes full responsibility for providing for her children, the oldest of which is 8. She called “Octomom” a fictional character that “completely is the antithesis of who I am as a person.” “That’s exactly what Octomom is, a carnival attraction,” Suleman said. Cameras have been trailing the Sulemans almost 24 hours a day.  Pictures were taken irrepressibly.  Trip to the park, Nadya giving her babies baths, reading to them and feeding them. All eight babies sat at a special table together as they ate. Suleman was shown running down the stairs with a bottle in hand. Suleman told Queen of Talk Winfrey that she would never participate in a reality television show. “That robs them of their childhood and I think it’s borderline abusive,” Suleman said. Last June, Suleman’s lawyer said she had signed a deal to star in a reality television series to be filmed by the Netherlands-based production company Eyeworks. Attorney Jeff Czech said instead of following the family 24 hours a day the show would document certain milestones. Court filings in Los Angeles show the company has sought to dismiss its petition for contracts that would pay Suleman’s children $250 a day for being in the series. Entertainment contracts involving children in California must receive a judge’s approval. Glacier National Park loses two more

BILLINGS, Mont. – Glacier National Park has lost two more of its namesake moving icefields to climate change, which is shrinking the rivers of ice until they grind to a halt, a government researcher said Wednesday. Warmer temperatures have reduced the number of named glaciers in the northwestern Montana park to 25, said Dan Fagre said, an ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey. He warned many of the rest of the glaciers may be gone by the end of the decade. “It's continual,” Fagre said. “When we're measuring glacier margins, by the time we go home the glacier is already smaller than what we've measured.” The meltoff shows the climate is changing, but does not show exactly what is causing temperatures to go up, Fagre said. The park's glaciers have been slowly melting away since about 1850, when the centuries-long Little Ice Age ended. They once numbered as many as 150, and 37 of those glaciers eventually were named. A glacier needs to be 25 acres to qualify for the title. The two that no longer classify were named the Shepard Glacier and the Miche Wabun Glacier. If a glacier shrinks any smaller, it does not always stop moving right away. A smaller mass of ice on a steep slope would still continue to grind its way through the Rocky Mountains. Fagre led a team that updated a 2005 USGS review of glaciers in the park. Back then, 10 glaciers had been found to have disappeared in recent decades. Local warming cited The USGS work was mentioned in a report released Wednesday by two environmental groups, the Rocky Mountain Climate Organization and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Their report cited data from a weather station inside Glacier National Park that shows the average temperature for the last decade there was 2 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than the station's 1950-1979 average. “That is exactly double the average global temperature increase of 1 degree F in the past decade, again compared to a 1950-1979 baseline,” the groups stated. Fagre's team estimates that in 1850 some 150 glaciers were in the boundaries of today's park. A 2003 study predicted that all remaining park glaciers would vanish by 2030, but the team now states that “their disappearance may occur even sooner, as many of the glaciers have recently retreated faster than their predicted rates.” continued. added by: JanforGore

One of the Two Moscow Bombers was 17-Year-Old “Black Widow”

Moscow subway system was attacked by two suicide bombers on Monday, in which it had killed 40 people. One of the two suicide bombers was a 17-year-old Muslim girl who was a wife of Islamic Militant killed by Russian Forces. The spokesman for Russia’s Investigative Committee said that she was identified through the forensic and genetic tests, including the identification procedures. Dzhennet Abdurakhmanova was the young widow of Umalat Magomedov, who is an Islamist militant leader from the southern republic of Dagestan. Magomedov was killed on the eve of New Year by Russian federal security forces. Abdurakhmanova is also known as Abdullayeva, detonated her explosives packed with bolts at height of rush hour on Monday at the Park Kutury metro station. Just 40 minutes after, another female suicide bomber detonated at the Lubyanka metro station. Abdurakhmanova was recruited through online when she was just 16 years old. Officials believe that Abdurakhmanova and her associated attackers took a trip by bus through Kizlyar in Dagestan. Investigators believe that almost 30 suicide bombers had been recruited and trained under the Islamic preacher. Since the news revealed that the two suicide bombers were women, most people fear that a group of attackers called the “Black Widows” who had carried out more than a few deadly attacks had been reawaken.
