My name is Aisha, I’m from Virginia! Sunday December 11th was a crazy day. Two of my friends, my sister and I planned a buyout in Washington DC without knowing that Justin Bieber would be in DC that same day. Justin announced about a week later that he was coming to Christmas in Washington the SAME day as the buyout, which was about 5 minutes away from the Barnes and noble we held the buyout. The buyout was insane! We had about 90-100 girls show up, we collected about 5-6 boxes of canned goods to donate to the local food bank. We also got about 50 donations of Under The Mistletoe CD’s for the Children’s Hospital. After about an hour my friend ran into Scooter on her way to the buyout, and he said he was on his way there! It was pretty unreal that Scooter came to the buyout, we didn’t expect it all. He took pictures with EVERYONE, then left. He thanked me and friends for everything we did and was being so sweet! After the buyout, we really wanted to meet Justin so we headed to his hotel, but then realized he left. We tried to beat him to the museum but ended up missing him by 5 minutes. Hours past and everyone left the city, it was only my twin sister and I left with 2 other girls we met. We decided to wait until the event was over. It was like -10 degrees. My body was slowly dieing. Since the President was inside, the blocked off every single road surrounding the building, so we had to wait across the street. After about an hour and a half, the President finally left, so we went inside the parking lot, and prayed that Justin was coming out that way. I spotted Legaci, my sister and I took pictures with them. Then we saw Scrappy! We also took pictures with him. We met The Band Perry, Cee lo Green, Conan O’Brien, and Jennifer Hudson. Finally after waiting for like 30 more minutes Justin comes out with his whole crew . There was only about 8 people there at the most. We were just patiently waiting there then Scooter came over and saw my sister and I (he remembered us cause we were the leaders of the buyout.) He called Justin over and told him that we organized the buyout and Justin had the biggest smile on his face, he was like “Thank you so much, that means the world to me.” I was really calm, and I was like no problem! He was like “Let’s get a picture!” While we were about to take the picture he pointed to his suit, and was like “Do I look like double o’ seven” I laughed and was like yeaah, you look cute! He was like thanks! We took the picture and then this paparazzi guy was trying to get Justin’s attention and he was like, “WAIT, I need to get pictures with my fans first” He took pictures with all the girls, and signed autographs. Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster is taking taking him to court for sole custody of their two sons. Tameka has filed court papers asking for him to lose joint physical custody of their children. According to TMZ , Tameka filed court papers in Georgia, asking a judge to strip Usher of joint physical custody of their children ASAP. She’s claiming that Usher has broken several agreements they have in place. A number of allegations are made against Usher in the legal documents. Tameka claims Usher should seek her permission before taking their kids out of the state, but has consistently failed to do that. She also alleges they are supposed to agree before hiring a nanny, but he has not approached her before doing so. Usher is apparently meant to ask her to care for the boys if he is ‘away for more than eight’ hours, with Tameka claiming that hasn’t always happened. Tameka also claims Usher closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card – which he specifically said he wouldn’t do – and now she can no longer take advantage of the ‘special benefits’ the card offers.’ According to the docs, Usher also promised to pay $5k per month so Tameka could hire her own nanny for the kids – but he hasn’t paid in months, and now owes $34,000 worth of payments.’ She is also alleging Usher’s income has increased after their split, meaning she should get more child support from him. A court hearing is scheduled to take place tomorrow. Usher just can’t get this woman off his back! I’m hearing that the children are with him more than they are with Tameka! ‘Young, Wild & Free’ is first clip off ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School’ soundtrack. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Matt Elias Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa on the set of “Young, Wild & Free” Photo: Matt Elias/MTV News The school year may already be in full swing, but on Wednesday, fans will get their first glimpse of Snoop Dogg and ‘s “Mac & Devin Go to High School” film when the smoked-out duo premiere the video for “Young, Wild & Free” on MTV. Starting at 6 a.m. ET the video will debut across MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV.com and MTV Jams, where it will play every hour. Directed by Dylan Brown, “Young, Wild & Free,” featuring Bruno Mars on the hook, is the first video from the official “Mac & Devin Go to High School” soundtrack. While integrating movie scenes into music videos sometimes gets cumbersome, Dogg and Khalifa worked things out by cleverly filming the clip in a Montclair, California, drive-in theater. “We got some more party scenes where we just gonna be doing our verses and having the scenes from the movie play on the big screen from the actual movie ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School,’ ” Snoop told MTV News on the video set back in October. “So people get a chance to see a few scenes and see us perform at the same time.” In one particular scene, the pair race in off-road karts, with some choice video models in tow. “We just getting it crackin’ in the parking lot, man, turning this thing out, so we had a couple of our little friends in the car and we drove fast,” Wiz said. “I had to level out the playing field; I had some weight issues so I had a couple of girls roll with me to level out my car,” Snoop jokingly added. The song is a carefree affair, with Mars singing, “So what we get drunk, so what we smoke weed/ We’re just having fun, we don’t care who sees” on the track’s hook. Keeping in tune with the single’s theme, Wiz raps about rolling up and sagging his jeans while Snoop rhymes like he’s 17 years old all over again. Khalifa teases that the entire soundtrack will carry a similar mood. “We got the homey Juicy J on the soundtrack, we got Curren$y on the soundtrack, but mainly it’s just me and Dogg,” he said. “It’s a real big deal because nobody’s done it like that as far as a veteran, an O.G. in the game, a pioneer, and then the newest, youngest, most exciting dude in rap coming through and really just giving the people a complete project.” “The music is quality,” Snoop said. By Matt Elias Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa on the set of “Young, Wild & Free” Photo: Matt Elias/MTV News MONTCLAIR, California — Big Snoop D-O-Double-G celebrates his 40th birthday Thursday (October 20), but on Wednesday night, he was all business. Well, business as usual. Snoop spent the evening shooting a music video with Wiz Khalifa for the track “Young, Wild & Free.” It’s the first song from the soundtrack of the duo’s upcoming stoner comedy, “Mac & Devin Go to High School.” It was quite a spectacle on the video set. The mellow MCs took over a drive-in movie theater an hour outside Los Angeles with tons of tricked-out rides and a variety of video vixens. The clip was directed by Dylan Brown, who also handled directing duties on the film. “This is a family affair, man,” Wiz told MTV News. “Everybody that you see was all involved with the project. We all got love for each other, and you know, we just keeping it moving, right?” “Yeah that’s all,” Snoop added. “We just having fun. We at a big drive-in theater so we could have as many people and have as many things happen as possible in the celebration of being young, wild, and free — having a good time.” And clearly they were having a good time. One scene saw Snoop and Wiz romping around the parking lot in some souped-up off-road karts, loaded with a crew of cuties. “That’s definitely going along with the theme of being young, wild, and free — just having fun, wild’n out,” Wiz said. “The whole theme of the video, we just getting it crackin’ in the parking lot, man, just turning this thing out. So we had a couple little of our friends in the car, and we drove fast.” “I had to level out the playing field,” Snoop admitted, with his kart holding a few extra girls than Wiz’s. “I had to have some, ahem, weight issues, so I had to have some girls roll with me to level out my car.” If you’re wondering how this whole scene ties into the high school flick, the Doggfather has you covered. “We got some more party scenes where we just gonna be doing our verses and having the scenes from the movie play on the big screen from the actual movie ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School,’ ” Snoop said. “So people get a chance to see a few scenes and see us perform at the same time.” The song itself got production help from Bruno Mars and quickly came together. “[Bruno Mars] sent me the music and I played the music for Wiz and he loved it and we came together,” Snoop said. “That’s what we do: We make good music. If you’ve got a great idea, which was started by Bruno, and me and Wiz, we take it to the next level, gave it back to Bruno. He tightened up the edges, and now it’s a complete situation.” Look for the soundtrack in December, just in time for the holiday season, followed by the film’s release in February. Really?? After all of that “freedom of religion gives us the right to be here,” the people who were so determined to open a mosque up the street from World Trade Center haven’t been paying their rent. Or at least that’s what their landlord would like us to believe. Lower Manhattan’s controversial Park51 Islamic center is now in a court battle with utility Consolidated Edison, which says the center owes it $1.7 million in a dispute over back rent. In court papers, Park51 says it owes Con Edison only $881,000 and calls the utility’s demand “grossly inflated.” The center has filed suit against the company over a default notice it was issued in September, and a New York state judge has stayed any action until after a hearing in November. In a statement to CNN on Sunday, Con Edison said it “remains hopeful” that it can work out an agreement with Park51, which leases part of its property from the utility. Park51′s developers did not return a phone call seeking comment. The center, which includes a mosque, drew intense opposition in 2010 from politicians, conservative activists and some families of the victims of the al Qaeda attack on the World Trade Center. The twin towers stood about two blocks from the site before they were destroyed by the suicide hijackings on September 11, 2001, leading critics to dub the project the “Ground Zero Mosque.” The interfaith center’s leaders said the project will be a 16-story community center with recreational, educational and cultural programming rooted in a spirit of cooperation and coexistence. City officials refused to block its construction, and Park51 held its grand opening in September. According to court documents, Park51 has exercised an option to purchase the Con Edison portion of the site for $10.7 million. The center says it has been paying $2,750 a month — minuscule by New York standards — under its initial lease. The rent was to be recalculated based on the market value of the property after it renewed the lease in 2008, but disputes over the appraisal lasted until this August. In September, Con Edison demanded the $1.7 million it said it was owed. “The lease for the property calls for the tenant to pay this money now that an appraisal process has been completed,” the utility told CNN. “Under the terms of the lease, Con Edison requested payment of outstanding rent, but to date, tenant has not yet made the required payment.” The people behind the Islamic Center think this is just a new tactic to get them out of the building.
