A woman was severely burned Monday after being doused in gasoline and lit on fire outside a 7-Eleven store in South Florida in a dispute with the father of her child, police said. The 34-year-old woman was waiting in her silver Mercedes at the store shortly before 3 a.m., Boynton Beach Police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said. She was meeting her ex to pick up her 4-year-old son for whom they share custody. Roosevelt Mondesir, 52, arrived in his white Jaguar without the boy and began throwing gasoline on the unidentified woman’s car and body, according to a police affidavit. She tried to run away, but police said the man chased her with a knife and then ignited her. In graphic surveillance video, a man can be seen threatening a woman with a large knife, struggling in the doorway of the store. “Get away from me!” she can be heard shouting. Cate Edwards, the daughter of John Edwards, had to leave his trial on federal campaign violation charges yesterday after some upsetting revelations. She walked out of the courtroom, crying, as a witness started to describe an argument between her parents after a tabloid reported her dad’s affair. The former U.S. Senator faces charges of illegally using campaign contributions to cover up his affair with Rielle Hunter while running for president. Former Edwards aide Christina Reynolds testified about the day in 2007 when John and Elizabeth Edwards learned of the National Enquirer ‘s report. They were at the airport, and “Elizabeth was very upset… She was very vocal,” Reynolds said. “She stormed off and collapsed into a ball in the parking lot.” After aides helped Elizabeth Edwards get back to her feet and led her to a nearby restroom, “She seemed a little calmer,” said Reynolds, “then stormed out of the bathroom and tried to engage Mr. Edwards.” In an emotional outburst, Elizabeth reportedly told her husband, “You don’t see me any more,” and tore off her shirt and bra on the spot. John Edwards “didn’t have much of a reaction.” Elizabeth Edwards died in 2010 at age 61 after a long battle with breast cancer. Shortly before she passed, she left John, though they never divorced. John denied, adamantly, that he had an affair with Hunter, though he was later forced to admit it … as well as the fact that he fathered her love child. This was all too much for their daughter to take yesterday. After a brief recess, Cate Edwards, 30, a lawyer, returned to the courtroom. John Edwards, 58, faces up to 30 years in prison and up to $1.5 million in fines if convicted of the charges, which he adamantly denies. He admits myriad personal shortcomings, but denies diverting nearly a million dollars in campaign funds illegally for the Hunter cover-up. Former aide Andrew Young, who says he facilitated the cover-up, said Edwards called her a crazy slut when he learned Rielle was pregnant .
*Short story, click to watch full story in this video ! Susanna and I had heard that there was going to be a Boyfriend Music Video Shoot in Los Angeles on April 21, 2012 from 6:00am-11:00pm. We immediately planned to go. When we got there, we accidentally walked onto set and no one was telling us anything! After walking around and snooping for a little, we decided to try and get on the top of the parking structure that JUSTIN BIEBER was on. When we almost got to the top of the stairs the security guard didn’t let us through. We stayed on the floor right below Justin’s shoot and eventually got yelled at by more security! We went downstairs to these open gates to see if we can see anyone we would know. Thats when we met Jade and Asia, two other beliebers! We stuck together for the rest of the day as well. There were two parking structures right next to each other. One full of the paps and a couple fans, and the other with the crew and music video stuff. You could see EVERYTHING from the parking structure we were on! Long story short, Justin didn’t want to film or get out of his car because of the paps, so Scooter was yelling over to us that if Justin gave them a couple shots for a picture that we would all have to leave. They agreed and Justin came out and started posing. This is when Selena had just gotten to the shoot as well and they were so cute being a couple and all. This SUPER nice lady, Patsy, who was part of Justin’s crew or the filming crew was so nice to us, she kept letting us back on the roof, and ONLY us! Justin even saw us a couple times! We watched him sing and dance and record the video for a long time and got some good pictures! Me, Sue, Jade and Asia were getting kinda tired and was just talking to each other when we look down on the 4 floor of Justin’s structure and notice that JUSTIN WAS TRYING TO TALK TO US BUT WE WERE TOO TIRED TO EVEN NOTICE! Before he got in the elevator we yelled “WE LOVE YOU JUSTIN!” and he smiled at us. So we ran downstairs as fast as we could to go and see him. When he was walking back from his trailer to quickly go back on set to record, only 5-6 fans were outside and he was walking and saying, “I promise I’ll come back and take pictures and meet you guys! I have to finish this shoot, just give me a couple minutes, I promise!” OMB. I died. We waited for about 2-3 hours, and more and more people started showing up. There was about 30 people now. After a little while I heard, “THATS A WRAP!” and bunch of yelling and excitement! All the extras and cast started coming down, and then we saw the Range Rover. Justin jumped right out and started signing and was being TRAMPLED by these crazy people. We stayed back to give him some space but was eventually pulled into the crowd. Susanna gave Justin her phone and he took a picture with her and then looked at me, came over to me, I held his jacket (people were shoving me) and smiled , he was kinda rushing so he didn’t know where to put the phone, so I grabbed his hand and I took it from him. He legit looked me in the eyes 4-5 times and SMILED AT ME. MY HEART, AH! I told him, “Justin, you are so sweet!” and he said, “Aw thank you!” He had jumped right back into his car with Selena, but the car wasn’t moving. My friend Asia was crying because she didn’t get to meet him. Me, Susanna, and Jade ran over to Scooter and was like, “Scooter, shes been here since 9am! Here’s a last bit of breezy entertainment as you head into the weekend: The first trailer for Miami-set dance sequel Step Up 4 , AKA Step Up: Revolution , in which a new pair of star-crossed lovers leads their crew into syncopated battle against prejudice rival gangs foreclosure evil land developers. This series has wound a long, glossy path since the days of Channing Tatum b-boying in the parking lot, but hey: It’s a new Step Up movie! As long as that Moose kid and Madd Chadd show up, I’m good to go. Of course, Jon M. Chu has moved on from the Step Up films to helm the G.I. Joe sequel (Chu directed the second and third installments of the series, making the franchise a hit) but he remains a producer with music video veteran Scott Speer in the director’s chair . (Speer previously directed the “Duet” episode of Chu’s online dance series The LXD , which inspires some faith in his eye for movement and storytelling.) My biggest hangup about Step Up 4 , however, isn’t that the two new leads, Kathryn McCormick and Ryan Guzman, are unknown — following in Step Up tradition — or that the trailer is almost too-slick looking, or that dancers on pogo legs don’t really do much for me. It’s that flash mobs are so tired already; once Justin Timberlake used them to woo Mila Kunis last year and Howie Mandel hosted a reality TV show about real people springing grandiose flash mob-gestures upon their estranged loved ones, I was kind of done with them. Also: What is Peter Gallagher doing in this movie playing the evil real estate developer who will threaten to dash the community’s dreams before being defeated by the power of dance?? He was in Center Stage 1 AND 2! YOU’RE ONLY ALLOWED TO BE IN ONE DANCE FRANCHISE, OTHERWISE THE UNIVERSE IMPLODES!!! Verdict: Seems like a missed opportunity to open Step Up 4 in 4-D, but I’ll give it a whirl anyway because yes, I am a sucker for these movies. On March 11th, 2012 at around 6 pm, my dreams came true. My name is Laynie. I was staying at a hotel on vacation in Florida. I had absolutely no idea Justin Bieber was there. I was about to go downstairs to go get some dinner. My parents and I got in the elevator and were fooling around, just joking and stuff. We get out of the elevator and I hear some sort of singing. We go through the double doors and there he was . He was walking with Selena and a bodyguard in the opposite direction. I couldn’t process it. I didn’t know what was happening. He smiled at me and kept walking. I started crying and my mom was like, “What, What!?” and I was like, “That’s Justin BIeber!” I couldn’t speak. My parents knew I was a HUGE fan. I have posters of him all over my room. They made me go to the parking garage, where they were going. My dad asked him if I could get a picture and he said sure. Selena stepped out of the picture and my dad said, “You can be in it too!” and she said “Thats okay, she only wants one with him”. The whole time I couldn’t speak. It was unreal. We took the picture and my mom said, “She’s a huge fan” and he said, “Thank you.” I said thank you and we walked out. I barely said anything to him but all of my dreams came true. My name is Victoria. I’m from a really small European country, Hungary. I’ve been a huge Belieber since 2009. This year I bought every single German newspapers that talked about Justin, and with my friend, Begi, made the first Hungarian fan site for Justin. Working on our site was like breath taking for me. I wrote like 10-20 articles about Justin every day, and I really wanted to show the Hungarian teenagers, who, and how incredible Justin is. In the summer of 2010, I’ve begun to work alone on the site, and I had like 2400 visitors every day. In August, I’d got a message from Jayme, he told me, that he wants me to be the news-writer of the Official Hungarian Justin Bieber Fansite, and I said yes. Here begins my Bieber Experience. On the 1st April of 2011 my dad drove 15 hours for me, to see Justin in Berlin, Germany. The next day I went to the O2 Arena, and Jayme (he flew to Germany too) told me, that he’s got a M&G ticket for me, for my hard work on the site. I thought, that I only gotta see Justin at the show so I freaked out. Before the meet & greet, I met DJ Tay James and saw Dan Kanter with Fredo too. There’s a video of fans running to Dan on Youtube, fortunately I have some screenshots of me with Dan. During the meet & greet, Justin was behind a black curtain. I first saw Kenny, then Justin. He said hi to us, then talked a little with Jayme (they already met in 2010). I was standing next to Justin, just staring at his face, and realizing that I wasn’t dreaming. Then came the best 2 seconds of my life. Justin grabbed my waist, pulled me closer and we looked in the camera. I just wanted to stay forever next to him. Jayme, and the another girl already left the room, but I was still standing there with Justin. We’ve been the last group with meet & greet tickets, so Kenny looked at me with a, “move bitch face” (LOL), so I took a step and looked back to Justin. Really slowly, but I left the room. I wasn’t crying/fan-girling like the others though. I remember the first phrase I said after the meet & greet was like, “Oh my f**king God, that kid is beautiful.” After the amazing show, I was hanging out with Jayme, and the dancers, Aja, Mike and Nick for a little bit. We forgot to take some pictures. The next day I realized, that I’m the first Hungarian girl who met Justin, well, this time I was crying. My 2nd Bieber Experience was on the 15th November, 2011. My dad drove this time 17 hours to Cologne, Germany. My friend, Fanny and I had 2 tickets for the German X-Factor . Before the show, we bought 2 Under The Mistletoe CDs, then went to the X-Factor studio. We’ve just standing behind the fences with some fans, and then we saw a huge black car at the parking place. Justin, Fredo, Moshe (white Kenny), Kenny, and Dan ran into the studio. After like a half hour they came back, and Justin waved to us, but he had no time to greet us , and stuff like that. That night Justin performed at 2 German TV shows, so after the first one he came back to the X-Factor, and sang Mistletoe on stage. It was awesome, my German friends, Mandy and Vanessa helped us a lot, they are the reason why we had seats on the first row. I just want to tell you guys, that I’m really blessed because my dad is awesome, without him, I had no chance to meet, or see Justin. I’m still writing news about Justin on http://justin-bieber.hu , and organizing fan-meetings, buyouts, and competitions for Beliebers, I really love it. I never thought, that someday my dream will come true, and I feel really blessed, cause I’m still the only one girl, who met Justin from my country. My name is Janessa & I love Justin and every single person in the Bieber Crew! My Bieber Experience didn’t unfortunately involve Justin, but someone who we all know was the prime reason he is here for us. The man, yep Scott “Scooter” Braun. I met Scooter at The Wanted’s concert in LA. I had a big feeling he was going to be there because he kept RT’ing people talking about The Wanted and he kept tweeting about them himself. That day my friends (Nicole and Melissa) were standing by this curtain where we notice a lot of people with VIP passes kept coming in and out, so we decided to stand around to see who my come out, hoping the chances that one those could be Justin, lol. In the venue was a balcony which was considered the VIP section and I kept looking up to see if anyone cool was there; I seemed to notice this guy in particular, wearing a cap with a casual shirt and jeans so I elbow my friend Melissa and tell her “Dude imagine that’s Scooter?!” Not even 5 minutess went by, as I was stared down at my phone for a quick second, look up and BAM!!!! Right in front of me was Scooter Braun. I was like “OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” (deep down inside) but calmly I called his name twice and he turned around & I asked him a for a picture and he responded: I’m gonna go real quick with the guys (The Wanted) backstage wish them Good Luck and I promise when I come back I will take a picture with you”. Some of you might thing, “Oh my gosh he totally blew you off” but not at all. I wasn’t mad or anything, I was freaking out that he at least had the time to talk to me. So he was back there for about 15 mins and finally he came back out and then as he was talking to someone he said the guy, “Hold on”, I asked him “Is it okay to take a picture with you now? He’s like, “Of course”, so we took a picture and the first one came out really white because my phone is just horrible, so he’s like, “Do you want to take another one?” I gladly said “YES please?” So we did. I thanked him so much for taking a picture with me. After the concert he filled us in with some Bieber news, and told us that Believe was coming out so great, and that Justin has been working so hard for us and that night he was gonna work on something special with Drake. I was beyond stoked when he said that. I was like “Can you please let Justin know I appreciate everything he does for us” and gladly he said “I will relate the message”. The best part of that day was just simply talking to Scooter with no crazy screaming girls, it was just Scooter, Nicole, Melissa and I. I am so blessed to have met Scooter, because without Scooter we wouldn’t have the kid who we all know can just by one word, song, lyric, look makes our heart go knock knock.
