Jason Sudeikis Ponders Life After ‘Saturday Night Live’

‘SNL’ star tells Rolling Stone that when he leaves, he’ll miss ‘the potential. Every week, they’re relaunching the show.’ By Jocelyn Vena Jason Sudeikis Photo: D. Dipasupil/ Getty Images “Saturday Night Live” has bid fond farewells to both Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg . Both had been long-rumored to be leaving the show at the end of this past season, along with fellow fan favorite Jason Sudeikis. Sudeikis, however, has yet to make his intentions clear. In an interview with Rolling Stone , posted on the magazine’s website Wednesday, Sudeikis doesn’t ever suggest he is leaving the show, but he shares that he’s imagined his life without it. “I don’t know what it would be like to live here without ‘SNL,’ ” he explained about life in New York City. “My relationships have changed. My locations have changed. Oddly, the job has been the only consistent thing in my life.” After years on the late-night staple, he does know what he will miss — should he decide to leave. “The potential,” he explained. “Every week, they’re relaunching the show. That’s what I love about sketch comedy: A sketch is five minutes, then it goes dark, and there’s the potential for something else. And I’ll miss the people. The people, the process, the parties — those are the three P’s I’ll miss the most.” Those sentiments were mirrored by Samberg, who recently spoke to MTV News about his decision to say goodbye to “SNL.” (Samberg announced his departure last week, just one day after sharing he wasn’t sure what his next move would be.) “I’m going to miss all of my friends and the people I work with and for there. I love them all so much, and I’m hoping to stay in touch with them,” Samberg said. “Over seven years, that show is like — and [Sandler] knows — it’s like going to war or being on a sports team,” he continued. “It’s just everyone working towards this common goal at full speed. When you lift your head up from that and go out into the world, you kind of realize, you’ll always be nicely shell-shocked in that way that only the people that did it with you can understand. I’ll definitely miss having such an amazing outlet and being able to do comedy on such a storied show that everyone pays attention to, but … now it’s straight to YouTube,” he joked. Perverts: Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi Asked Burlesque Dancer To Dress Up Like Obama

Obama tho? If you think Slick Willy misbehaved while he was in office, you should look into the stories about former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi who is currently on trial for buying booty from an underaged prostitute. The latest testimony in the trial came from this bangin’ dancer Marysthell Garcia Polanco who says the former PM liked to see her play some interesting dress up games: A Dominican dancer who says she was present at Silvio Berlusconi’s now-infamous “bunga bunga” sex parties testified in court today that the former Italian prime minster had her dress up as a “burlesque version” of President Barack Obama, and dance around. Marysthell Garcia Polanco, who is a member of the all-girl group Muñecas con Clase (Dolls with Class), told the court she would also masquerade as a sultry simulacrum of the trial’s prosecutor, Ilda “the Red” Boccassini. “I dressed up as Boccassini with a toga to make him laugh, and also as Obama,” the 28-year-old said. Berlusconi, who is being tried for allegedly paying then-underage Moroccan-born prostitute Karima El Mahroug for sex in 2010 and abusing his power in securing her release from jail, maintains that the parties were “elegant dinners” that involved “burlesque games” as a form of entertainment. Polanco appeared to agree, testifying that the parties were “innocent fun,” and the burlesque was not skanky. Who wouldn’t like to have some “innocent fun” with Marysthell though? We just prefer she leave the Obama get up at home. Source

Rihanna Enjoys Some Drama-Free Birthday Cake

Singer celebrates grandmother’s birthday in New York, live tweeting almost the entire affair. By John Mitchell Rihanna and her grandparents Photo: Instagram Enjoying a bit of a break after a hectic few months, Rihanna stopped by her grandparents’ apartment in Brooklyn, New York, this weekend for an intimate family gathering celebrating her grandmother’s birthday. The Barbadian pop sensation live tweeted practically the entire affair, beginning with a stop to pick up some wine and grub. Ever the expert in double entendre, Rihanna tweeted a picture of the sausage aisle, calling it her “fave section in Whole Foods.” She posted 21 pictures of the festivities, many with the hashtag #grangrandollybday. (To take a look at some of the photos, click here.) It’s been a busy and at times controversial 2012 for Rihanna, who has endured heavy criticism for her decision to add ex-boyfriend Chris Brown to a remix of her Talk That Talk track “Birthday Cake.” Brown remains on probation after pleading guilty to felony assault of the singer in 2009. But the only thing on Rihanna’s mind this weekend was celebrating her “Gran Gran” Dolly’s birthday with family and close friends. Ever the devoted granddaughter, Ri-Ri hit the kitchen to cook up some goods before enjoying a glass of wine with her grandparents, who met in Guyana before moving to Barbados and later the U.S. Growing up, Rihanna regularly spent holidays in New York with her grandparents. The “We Found Love” singer even tweeted her grandfather’s confusion over her ever-changing hair color. “My GranDad: Robyn how ya is get hair from red to cream to black??? Cuz ya don’t carry wigs,” she wrote. “Ya does wash it out?! ME: ROTFL (no words)” It looks like Gran Gran Dolly got plenty of gifts and the family enjoyed cake and champagne as well as a fun game of dress up. Rihanna posted several pics of both her grandmother and grandfather Lionel sporting sideways-skewed baseball caps and heavy gold chains. The family visit must have been a nice change of pace for the always-working diva, who is prepping for the May release of her film debut, “Battleship.” She’s also still promoting her hit 2011 album Talk That Talk, and in a recent interview with “Access Hollywood,” she admitted she’s trying to work out a collaboration with her good friend Katy Perry. “We have been working on this for years. We still are trying to make a song together, Katy Perry and I,” Rihanna said. “She is one of my favorite musicians, as well as one of my favorite people in the industry. … Whenever we’re in the same city, we try to do something — whether it’s seeing each other for five minutes for a hug [or] whether it’s partying all night at some random afterparty for an award show.” As for the duet, it’s on the docket if not necessarily in the works. “The song will probably come out in a while,” Rihanna told “Access Hollywood.” “I won’t say that it’s happening right now, but it’s going to happen.” Related Photos Rihanna Parties With Her Grandparents Related Artists Rihanna

Jesus Take The Prophylactic: 5 Year-Old Girl Must Undergo Numerous Tests After Attempting To Blow Up A Used Condom Found On The Playground

Ewww, gross… A 5-year-old girl is getting ready to undergo a battery of tests after she found a condom on her school playground and thought it was a balloon. The condom was found in wood chips on the playground at Acres Green Elementary School in Littleton on Thursday. “One of my daughter’s friends brought it over to my daughter and gave it to her as a gift,” the father told 7NEWS. “At that point, my daughter attempted to blow it up.” After playing with the condom, the girl put it in her pocket. “My concern is not knowing if it was used or not (and) my daughter putting it to her mouth,” the father said. We are not naming the father or girl to protect her. B-b-but wait it gets worse… 7NEWS discovered the condom the girl found on the playground was not the only one. “The school went out as soon as they found out about it and went through the playground and did find a few other items, condoms, out on the playground,” said Randy Barber, spokesman for the Douglas County School District. Says the little girl’s father about the incident: “It’s not something I ever thought I would deal with in my life or even conceive of dealing with,” said the father. “It’s real. It can happen, and I think parents need to step up and really take a stronger role in the grounds of the school and what is going on in the schools.” This is some of the most terrifying isht we ever heard of. Oscars 2012: Winners And Losers

From Emma Stone to Angelina Jolie’s right leg, MTV News relives the best and worst of Sunday night’s show. By Eric Ditzian Emma Stone arrives at the 84th Annual Academy Awards Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ FilmMagic The winners of the 2012 Oscars have already been announced. Those lucky men and women have already gone off, gleaming statuettes in hand, to jump from celeb-filled party to celeb-filled party and learn how to carry a champagne glass in one hand and an Academy Award in the other without spilling for the former and breaking the latter. But the official winners’ list only tells part of the story of Sunday night’s show. There were nipples that might have slipped, legs that poked bizarrely out and an ash-filled urn malfunction on the red carpet. There were front-runners who fell short and dark horses who pulled out unexpected victories. Who were the true winners and losers at the Oscars this year? Let’s take a look… Winner: Billy Crystal Hauled out from some cryogenic awards-show freezer where time does not pass and wrinkles are not allowed to crease one’s face, Crystal emerged onto the Oscar stage for the ninth time … and didn’t make us fall asleep. Much to our surprise, he was consistently funny (and at times, shockingly and thankfully, a tad mean), and delivered a bunch of LOL-worthy video bits. Loser: Anne Hathaway and James Franco Remember when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences thought it needed to get all edgy, recruiting two hot young things to helm the biggest night in Hollywood? Hollywood, in turn, hated them. The ghosts of Hathaway and Franco’s phoned-in performances could be seen every time Crystal belted out a parody tune or a Borscht Belt zinger to the sustained guffaws of his audience. Winner: Jennifer Lopez’s nipple It was the singer’s most talked-about release in at least a decade. And it may not have actually, ya know, been released from beneath her dress. Loser: Angelina Jolie’s right leg ‘Cause, seriously, that was just weird. Winner: The screenwriter who made fun of Angelina Jolie’s right leg After the “Descendants” won Best Adapted Screenplay, Jim Rash (who also happens to be a series regular on “Community”) took to the stage and thrust his leg out in silent, searing mockery of Jolie’s prominently displayed body part. Winner: Emma Stone She can sing, she can bust into an awesome old-timey voice, she can make fun of Ben Stiller and he’ll just take it. The evening was filled with surprisingly funny presenters, but Stone’s shtick won the night. Casting directors, listen up: Get that girl a big-screen musical stat! Winner: Octavia Spencer Long an awards-season darling, “The Help” ended up only nabbing a single Oscar. Best Supporting Actress winner Spencer made the best of the opportunity, breaking down in tears during a heartfelt acceptance speech in which she thanked everyone from her castmates to the state of Alabama. Loser: Meryl Streep Though she won Best Actress — which, according to our estimates, was the 37th Oscar win of her career — even Streep herself appeared sheepish to have swiped the category away from front-runner Viola Davis. Winner: Sacha Baron Cohen Handed the gift of a temporary ban from the Academy because he planned to walk the red carpet as his character from “The Dictator,” Baron Cohen played the PR war game perfectly, releasing an amusing YouTube video before the show and then, after the Academy relented, spilling the faux-ashes of Kim Jong Il on Ryan Seacrest during a red-carpet interview. Loser: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences The academy not only proved it had no sense of humor when it banned Baron Cohen, but showed it had no spine when it reinstated him and ended up posting his image on the front page of its Oscar website. Loser: Michael Douglas While it was great to see Douglas out on stage and looking so healthy after his battle with cancer, everyone was disappointed that his dad wasn’t the one standing in front of the cameras. Then 94-year-old Kirk Douglas’ show-stealing intro at last year’s Oscars was bizarre and uncomfortable and kinda amazing. Winner: Zach Galifianakis’ inability to pronounce Zach Galifianakis’ name The white tux-clad presenter, perhaps reaching out to Michel Hazanavicius, his brother in unpronounceable surnames, butchered his own family name in the middle of a memorable bit with Will Ferrell. Winner: The women of “Bridesmaids” They may not have won an award, but their continuing bit about a Martin Scorsese drinking game was hilarious. And the fact that they were able to bring some humor to the shorts categories — comparing them to the male anatomy — was an impressive feat. Loser: Bradley Cooper’s mustache Cooper might be the reining Sexiest Man Alive, but his lip fuzz stood out as the night’s creepiest collection of facial hair. Loser: Bubba Smith Every year, a handful of beloved actors are left off Oscar’s “In Memoriam” montage. In 2012, poor Bubba Smith, who memorably played Hightower in the “Police Academy” movies and who passed away in August at the age of 66, didn’t make the cut. Oscar 2012 Best Presenters: Robert Downey Jr., Bridesmaids, More

Co-stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis make a hilariously musical entrance, while Sandra Bullock shows off some impressive German. By Terri Schwartz Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow present at the 84th annual Academy Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images There are typically two kinds of presenters at the Oscars : the earnest and the hilarious. But every year, a handful of actors manage to capture the goal of either category in a way that makes the moment unforgettable. On Sunday night, the Kodak Theatre saw plenty of earnest presenters. Natalie Portman, Colin Firth and Morgan Freeman reminded viewers why we love the Oscars. But it was the presenters with the funny bits who really stole the show. Whether comparing short films to male genitalia or tossing cymbals onstage when they should have been reading out the name of an award winner, we couldn’t stop chuckling. Here, the MTV Movies team handpicks the five most memorable presenters of the 2012 Oscars. Robert Downey Jr., Documentarian Trying to stay ahead of the curve, Robert Downey Jr. and a camera crew joined Gwyneth Paltrow onstage to present the Best Documentary award in an attempt to popularize his new art form, “live documentary.” Of course, as Paltrow pointed out, that’s called the news, but we couldn’t get enough of their Tony Stark/ Pepper Potts-style banter several months before “The Avengers” hits theaters. And we like that Downey joked that he turned down the role in “The Descendants” with George Clooney looking on from the crowd. Emma Stone Is Super Good Yes, Emma Stone is charming, but we were still surprised at how well she pulled off the task of co-presenting Best Visual Effects alongside Ben Stiller. First-time Oscar presenter Stone acted out her skit flawlessly and even managed to poke fun at Stiller’s previous presenting stunts in the process. But it was her asking “Superbad” co-star Jonah Hill to come onstage and dance with her — and his subsequent refusal — that made this one of the funniest moments of the night. Sandra Bullock Is “Extremely” Bilingual Did you know Sandra Bullock was bilingual? It certainly made her presenting the Oscar for Best Foreign Film all the more fitting. And although the actress said she was going to present the award in Mandarin, Bullock actually announced the award in German. For those who wondered about the Academy’s motivation for having the “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” star present in a different language, it turns out it was because the Academy Awards “are an international show and because there are over 1.2 billion people in China.” So why not? Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis Make Music Leave it to the stars of the upcoming political comedy “The Campaign,” Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, to make one of the funniest and most dramatic appearances of the night. Dressed in all-white tuxedos, the duo emerged from the orchestra pit smashing cymbals together. Because how else do you expect comedians to present the award for Best Original Song? Fortunately, winner Bret McKenzie also had a good sense of humor in his acceptance speech for “The Muppets” song “Man or Muppet.” “Bridesmaids” Stars Toast Scorsese Again Who else but the cast of “Bridesmaids” could make presenting the three short-film categories one of the most hilarious of the night? Sure, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph’s whole opening spiel was one big penis joke, but can you expect any less when Melissa McCarthy earned her Oscar nomination for a part that featured her comically defecating in a sink? We’re still trying to figure out what the rules of Rose Byrne and McCarthy’s Martin Scorsese drinking game are, but we’ll let you know when we do. The MTV Movies team has the 2012 Oscars covered! Billy Crystal’s Top Five Oscar Jokes

Nine-time host pokes fun at Jonah Hill and Christian Bale and gets a kiss from George Clooney. By Ryan J. Downey Billy Crystal performs at the 84th annual Academy Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images There were jokes about old relatives, bar mitzvahs and other tried-and-true familiar shticks from the only comedian to host the Oscars nearly as many times as Bob Hope, but Billy Crystal came armed with a surprising amount of some Ricky Gervais-style bite, too. The veteran comedic actor’s ninth turn as host of the Academy Awards followed a string of headline-making turmoil behind the scenes. Crystal was drafted to replace Eddie Murphy, who walked after producer Brett Ratner (who had directed Murphy in “Tower Heist”) abruptly left the show following his use of a homophobic slur at a Q&A. Producer Brian Grazer eventually stepped in. The show began with two Crystal staples: a montage of clips from the Best Picture nominees featuring the former “Saturday Night Live” castmember and a musical number that jokingly referenced several folks seated in the audience. They were moments that were as rewarding, if predictable, as the sweep “The Artist” made of several major categories on Sunday. A few months ago, somewhat controversial Golden Globes host Gervais tweeted a picture of him and his Academy Awards counterpart together and wrote, “Just told Billy Crystal he’d better not use any of my holocaust or pedophile material at The Oscars. He agreed (true).” And while the opening sketch did include a Hitler reference and blackface (in the form of the comedian’s well-established Sammy Davis Jr. impression), Crystal mostly kept it tame, recruiting Justin Bieber, George Clooney and Tom Cruise for cameos. Here are the top five Billy Crystal jokes from the 84th Academy Awards, as we saw them: 5. In the montage, Crystal awakes to find himself in a hospital scene from “The Descendants” being kissed by Clooney. Later in the show, he looked at Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, and quipped: “You’re a lucky girl. He’s a very good kisser.” 4. Before Christian Bale took the stage, Crystal began: “A ‘Dark Knight,’ an ‘American Psycho,’ a charismatic crack addict. You’ll get to choose one on Super Tuesday.” It was a swipe at the Republican presidential nominees, sure, but Crystal soon zeroed in more closely on the next presenter, referencing that infamous viral rant from 2009. “Academy Award winner — and be careful if you’re in his eyeline — Christian Bale .” 3. During the song, Crystal brought up Jonah Hill’s tremendous post-“Moneyball” reduction in physical size. “It’s great you shed weight,” he sang to the actor. “But I think you should know, there’s cupcakes after the show.” 2. In recent weeks, news hit that the Kodak Theater would be changing its name, due to the longtime sponsor’s recent financial troubles. “We’re here at the beautiful Chapter 11 Theater,” Crystal said, in one of many related jokes. 1. Much like Gervais’ digs at the Globes, the Oscars themselves were the host’s biggest target: “Nothing takes the sting out of these tough economic times like watching a bunch of millionaires giving golden statues to each other,” he smiled. By Jocelyn Vena Diddy arrives at the 2012 Oscars Photo: Getty Images During Sunday night’s (February 26) Oscars , celebrities took to Twitter to react to the wins (both their own and those of their colleagues), the looks , the show itself, and, of course, that Dictator stunt pulled on Ryan Seacrest . “My mom always told me to pack two jackets for red carpets,” Seacrest joked about being plastered with “ashes” on the red carpet by Sacha Baron Cohen, who was done up in his Dictator character. “Always wondered why. Now I know.” His lady love, Julianne Hough, also laughed off the incident, adding, “Awe! @RyanSeacrest It’s ok, we’ll just make pancakes with the leftovers! #goodcomposure ;)” Diddy managed to snag some Oscar gold as the executive producer of the Best Documentary winner, “Undefeated.” “God is the greatest!!!!” he wrote . “Thank you! #undefeated!!!!” He later added, “I am buggin.” He got some love from a number of folks, including Ellen DeGeneres, who wrote , “@iamdiddy did it! Pitbull Performs With Chris Brown, Ne-Yo At NBA All-Star Game

‘We’re all from different backgrounds, but music brings us together,’ Pitbull tells MTV News. By Rob Markman Pitbull performs at the 2012 NBA All-Star game on Sunday Photo: Mike Ehrmann/ Getty Images ORLANDO, Florida — Pitbull sure knows how to put on a show, and during his halftime performance at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando, Mr. Worldwide brought out a few of his famous friends. During his medley of hits including “Rain Over Me,” “International Love” and “Give Me Everything,” the Miami rapper shared the stage with Nayer, Ne-Yo and Chris Brown. “For me, what it’s about is showing that music is the universal language. It shows you that no matter where you’re from, what you represent, where you grew up or no matter what your culture or background may be, music brings everybody together,” Pitbull told MTV News from his dressing room at the Amway Center in Orlando after his performance. “To have Chris Brown come out, to have Ne-Yo come out, Nayer come out — we’re all from different backgrounds, but music brings us together.” With his performance, Pit embodied what the NBA All-Star game is all about: bringing superstar talents together and putting their skills on display. Onstage, Pitbull and company did just that as they rocked the thousands of fans at the Amway Center. Pitbull has performed at so many big events, but when asked where his halftime NBA All-Star show ranked, he couldn’t quite put a number on it. “As far as a rating, I’d rate it a blessing,” he said. What did you think of Pitbull’s performance at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game’s hafltime show? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Pitbull
