Rick Perry, whose primary odds have been steadily declining since his bizarre debate performance late last month, has released a humdinger of an ad conflating Mitt Romney with President Obama: In other crapping-on-Romney-news, the DNC has rolled out a new web questionnaire called “Which Mitt?” Possible answers for each question include two blatantly antithetical quotes and “All of the above.”… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Reason Magazine – Hit & Run Discovery Date : 10/10/2011 01:06 Number of articles : 4

Holly Madison’s Big Oktoberfest Jugs

I guess it’s supposed to be Oktoberfest or something, I thought that was in late September, and Holly Madison was invited to bring her golden locks and big Playboy breasts to some German themed restaurant in Las Vegas over the weekend. That seems about right. Anyhow, it looks like she was there to tap a keg or something. I’d like to tap her keg if you know what I mean….. I want to hump her, that’s what I mean. more pictures of Holly Madison here

Willow Smith, Nicki Minaj Ignite ‘Fireball’

Young ‘Whip My Hair’ singer’s new single premieres on Hot 97. By James Dinh Willow Smith Photo: Vittorio Zunino Celotto/ Getty Images It’s been over a year since Willow Smith ‘s “Whip My Hair” takeover, and since then, the 10-year-old rising pop darling has released follow-up single “21st Century Girl” and has been steadily working on her Roc Nation debut album. On Wednesday (October 5), Smith dropped a Nicki Minaj-assisted party single, “Fireball,” to appease her growing fanbase. Offering world-premiere duties to New York Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez’s afternoon radio show, “Fireball” is a drum-heavy party tune, where the young starlet gets feisty, shows her swagger and proclaims herself the center of attention. “See, I never been the one to toot my own horn/ Beep beep, now watch me put it on/ I set fire everywhere I play/ Make them all go insane, L.A. to U.K.,” Smith sings with confidence. She keeps the energy going by delivering a simple hook when she repeatedly boasts, “I’m the fireball of the party/ I’m the fire” atop a layer of chants. Minaj chimes in about two minutes into the song, sharing bragging rights with Smith, offering her usual rapping eccentrics and even name-dropping the singer’s famous parents. “Put you under my wing, I’m the top boss/ Ain’t from Louisiana, but I’m hot sauce/ Cop the mountain, just to go and build a house off so I ain’t never got to worry what the house cost,” the MC spits. Artwork for the song, which has been posted on the singer’s Facebook page, depicts the singer’s signature nameplate inside an orange-lit fireball. On Monday, Smith teased fans about the single’s debut via Twitter , writing, “My new single is coming soon, really soon, like maybe tomorrow soon:) #FIREBALL:)” MTV News recently chatted with “Whip My Hair” producer Ronald “Jukebox” Jackson , who revealed that the pop starlet is close to finishing her full-length debut album. “I did like eight, nine songs on Willow, so right now, we’re in the process of just trying to close out the album,” he said. “It’s just the whole process. You got to think about it: She’s a 10-year-old girl. She’s gotta have a life; she’s gotta be a kid.” Share your review of “Fireball” in the comments below! Related Artists Willow Smith Nicki Minaj

‘Arrested Development’ Movie Confirmed

‘It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie,’ series star Jason Bateman tweeted over the weekend. By Gil Kaufman The “Arrested Development” cast Photo: FOX The “Arrested Development” movie is finally happening. No, seriously. After years of rumors, denials, hedging, backtracking and wishful thinking, series co-creator and executive producer Mitchell Hurwitz confirmed over the weekend that not only are the seriously, hilariously, unapologetically dysfunctional Bluth clan headed to the multiplex, but they will get tuned up for their movie debut by making a short trip back to TV. Speaking on Sunday at the New Yorker Festival , Hurwitz broke the news, with “Development” actor Jason Bateman confirming it a few hours later on his Twitter feed. “It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early ’13. VERY excited!” According to The New York Times , when asked by moderator Nancy Franklin to give an update on the long-rumored film, Hurwitz confessed, “We’re 80 percent of the way to an answer.” He explained that director/producer Ron Howard, who also narrated the show, “had been talking about this for ages and trying to get this going. … We don’t completely own the property, there are business people involved and studios and that kind of thing. Just creatively, I have been working on the screenplay for a long time and found that as time went by, there was so much more to the story. In fact, where everyone’s been for five years became a big part of the story. So in working on the screenplay, I found even if I just gave five minutes per character to that back story, we were halfway through the movie before the characters got together.” Hurwitz was speaking on a panel that gathered the beloved cult show’s cast together for a “Bluth Family Reunion.” He said that the plan is to do a limited-run (9 or 10 episodes) of the series on TV and then segue into the movie in order to get the hype machine cranked up again, with each episode focusing on one character’s backstory to bring us back to the present. Among the castmembers on hand were Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, David Cross , Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and Alia Shawkat, as well as call-in guest Howard . Given the show’s sly, twisty inside-joke humor and legendarily wacky tangents, there was, of course, some skepticism about whether Hurwitz’s announcement was possibly part of some cosmic joke. But he later confirmed that he was halfway done with a screenplay, though he did not make any announcement about which studio or network would be handling the re-boot. Hurwitz also cleared up a long-running misconception about why the movie has not come to pass: the alleged reluctance of “Scott Pilgrim” actor Cera, who was allegedly refusing to play ball. The show’s creator explained that the rumor that Cera was stonewalling the project was an inside joke gone wrong. “I kind of was perpetuating a little thing, like, wouldn’t it be funny if Michael Cera was the holdout,” he said. “Let’s put that out there. And Michael had that Andy Kaufman thing. And then it really turned ugly, quickly. So I really just have to say, for those of you that have been following this saga, Michael’s always been great.”

Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen Help Sting Celebrate His 60th

Former Police-man’s star-studded birthday show also featured Billy Joel, will.i.am and Mary J. Blige. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga performs with others at Sting’s 60th birthday concert Photo: Getty Images Most people turn 60 with a quiet party among friends or maybe a surprise bash put together on the DL by their spouses that features a hilarious slideshow or funny video. Not Sting . The former Police frontman and solo star plugged in and played with everyone from Lady Gaga to Mary J. Blige and Bruce Springsteen in celebration of his 60th birthday on Saturday night at the Beacon Theater in New York. The event, a charity fundraiser for the anti-poverty group the Robin Hood Foundation , included Gaga on piano banging out a jazzy cover of the Police’s “King of Pain,” giving the sedate ballad the same kind of electric energy she brings to her own key-thumper “You and I,” according to Rolling Stone . She traded lines with Sting on a stage packed with up to 20 musicians, including a string section and backup singers, who helped the eternally youthful singer work his way though his 30-plus-year catalog of hits. Among the other highlights: Stevie Wonder doing a duet with Sting on “Fragile,” will.i.am throwing a freestyle rap and bits of the BEP’s “I Gotta Feelin’ ” into the Police’s “Walking on the Moon,” Billy Joel marking a rare return to the stage for renditions of “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and “Don’t Stand So Close to Me,” Rufus Wainwright singing “Wrapped Around Your Finger,” and Sting teaming up with his son Joe for a moving rendition of the tune Sting wrote about his own relationship with his pops, “Why Should I Cry For You?” One of the highlights of the evening was the mini-set with Springsteen, who waltzed out with his guitar to sing the sedate death-row ballad “I Hung My Head,” which featured a raucous guitar solo. He also performed a solo version of “Fields of Gold” on 12-string guitar and harmonica, with one verse sung a cappella. Sting came out to sing “Can’t Stand Losing You” with the Boss, with the two men leaning in to each other and howling the lyrics into the same microphone. The night ended with the party’s guests trading lines on “Every Breath You Take,” with Gaga nodding to her piano icon, Joel, while singing the line “Can’t you see/ You’re the one for me.” Sting closed out the show with a solo acoustic version of “Message in a Bottle,” which was followed by wife Trudie Styler surprising him with a dozen bagpipers and a confetti drop that got the one-named rock icon misty. “Thank you a million times,” he told the crowd as he and the missus danced together onstage.
