A glowing and gorgeous Kerry Washington was on hand…. as well as Niecy Nash and her hubby Jay Tucker… Regina Hall… and Tracee Ellis Ross. Our “Hidden Figures” baes Janelle Monae, Octavia Spencer and Taraji P. Henson were also on hand to accept their award for “Best Motion Picture.” Don’t they look gorgeous? Last night, Fox hosted a party in Pasadena for the TCA Press Tour and nearly all of the Glee cast members stopped by (except for — cough, cough — Lea Michele). It was a feeding frenzy for the nation’s television journalists and when Matthew Morrison appeared at the event, like Fox-branded chum being thrown into violent waters, he was immediately swarmed by critics wielding tape recorders. Movieline braved the chaos and came out with the world’s shortest interview with Matthew Morrison ever. Enjoy, though be warned: White-rapping was discussed.

Piers Morgan’s New Show Will Succeed Because Most Other Media Will Fail

At Thursday’s TCA press conference in Pasadena, Piers Morgan announced that the first guest on his new CNN show will be OWN sorceress Oprah Winfrey — and that newspapers won’t exist soon. “There will be no newspapers in 20 years. Deal with it,” he said, adding that he feels sorry for Scandinavian paper factories that will soon go down in flames. Fine, but he should have assured us that America’s Got Talent won’t be around in 20 years either. Soften the blow, Piers!
