Amanda Bynes is Tweeting up a storm lately, and making less sense than ever. Among other gems, she says that she coined the phrase “LOLOLOL.” Is she saying she’s responsible for “LOL” as well, or just adding “OLOL” onto the end? We may never know … which is true of most things with her. In addition to a great shot of her boobs (we assume they’re hers, anyway), Bynes has also shared other random, often puzzling Tweets of late: “Drake is a hot fellow.” “Baby corn and fried tofu.” “I created the phrase Ily and lololol. Proud.” “He’s Rocking That Incest Face.” (Not clear who he is) “When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.” (Good to know) “SoCks.” (with a photo of her socks) “You are you who date.” (deep) “If I’m not following you on twitter, I hate you.” (no offense taken)
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn went public with their romance to foil the paparazzi, according to the golfer, while she is not freaked out by his sordid past. Ever since their simultaneous Facebook posts and photos confirmed what we suspected – Lindsey Vonn dating Tiger Woods – many have wondered: Why would the Olympic skiing gold medalist go for a man whose epic, marriage-ending sex scandal made him the poster child for whom not to date? Apparently, the answer is not all that complicated. “Tiger makes Lindsey happy,” says one of her friends. “She isn’t concerned what others think. She trusts her instincts. She’s comfortable with the relationship.” “They have sat down and talked it out more than once. He has explained his side and owned up to what he did wrong. He has been very honest with her.” “She’s not freaked out by his past.” A source close to Woods, 37, says the golfer has been open with Vonn, 28 about his past, which she once joked about during the scandal’s peak. Rumors of a relationship heated up early last month, when Woods sent his private jet to fly Vonn home to Vail, Colo., after a crash on the slopes. The crash at the Alpine World Championships in Austria left her with torn knee ligaments and a fractured shin – but more time with her man at least. Woods, who was at Vonn’s side during her surgery after flying her home, “has been really supportive as she recovers from her injuries,” says a pal. As for the public proclamation of their love, which would’ve been unthinkable a few years ago for Tiger, he said in an interview that it was for the best. “I’ve had situations where it’s been very scary, dangerous for my kids and the things, the extent they’ll go to,” Woods said of undercutting the paparazzi. Also, part of him delights in sticking it to the paps. “We basically devalued the first photos and, unfortunately, that’s just the way it is in our society right now and we felt this was best thing to do.” Most importantly, though, he’s just more comfortable with who he is these days. “It’s simple,” he says of the decision to go public. “We’re very happy.” What do you think? Will it last? Is Tiger a changed man? I think so. Give him a chance! I think not. Once a cheater … View Poll »
Here’s professional hottie and weird dresser Kat Graham coming back from a workout, and I actually approve of what she’s wearing for once. Granted, I’m not exactly down with the giant baggy sweatpants, but I’m definitely digging what she’s got going on top here. And considering some of the outfits Kat’s worn in the past , one out of two ain’t bad. I’ll take it. Photos: PacificCoastNews
According to the Academy Award pundits and even the Nate Silver-style numbers crunchers, Jennifer Lawrence will win the Best Actress Oscar on Sunday, but don’t start engraving her name just yet. Along with the recent surge — at least in publicity — for Emmanuelle Riva , another group of in-the-know moviegoers is predicting that Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain will bring home the little gold man: New York City taxi riders. If you’ve never ridden in a NYC cab, the taxis here are equipped with passenger-compartment video monitors that attempt to amuse riders with local news casts, a taxi-edition of the TV game show Jeopardy that is geared for idiots, and over the last few weeks, an Oscar survey that covers the Best Film, Director, Actor, Actress and Animated Film categories. In addition to casting their votes for Chastain, New Yorkers also aren’t buying into the Argo surge. They’re predicting a Lincoln sweep with the film, its director, Steven Spielberg and star, Daniel Day-Lewis , bringing home statuettes. Brave is also predicted to bring home the Best Animated Feature Oscar. Sunday will tell whether New Yorkers were ahead of the curve, but, I suspect that their choice of Chastain for Best Actress has a lot to do with wishful thinking. Her “I’m-the-motherfucker-that-found-this-place” attitude and doggedness in Zero Dark Thirty is very New York. That’s how we take care of business in this town. By the way, I’ve asked the TLC to provide me with an idea of how many riders took the survey. I’ll update when I get them. [ NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission ] Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter . With the Academy Awards just three days away, the Internets are being overworked by bloggers and moviegoers obsessed with staying up on the latest in Oscar news. I also wouldn’t put it past awards season’s prime navigator Harvey Weinstein to have a boiler room full of trained chimpanzees plugging in Jennifer Lawrence’s name and ” Silver Linings Playbook ” into all the top search engines, such as Yahoo!, for instance. The web portal has collected some interesting data about Oscar-related searches, which I’ve culled below: * Jennifer Lawrence is the most searched Oscar-nominated actor this year. Searches for Jennifer Lawrence in the past year on Yahoo! are seven times higher than for Bradley Cooper . *Searches for Seth McFarlane are up 1644% in the past 7 days on Yahoo!. He is the top searched “seth” followed by Seth Green, Seth Meyers Seth Curry, and Seth Rogen . No pressure, Rogen! *The Top Searched Oscar-Nominated Movies on Yahoo! The Obama Administration issued a response to an online petition asking the White House to commission an intergalactic Death Star a la Star Wars . Sadly, it rejected the request. Guess The Force was not strong enough with this petition . Claiming it would cost an estimated $850,000,000,000,000,000 and that “the administration does not support blowing up planets,” Obama nixed the idea. The White House was forced to offer an official response, since the petition garnered the requisite 25,000 signatures on the WeThePeople petitioning system. As we’ve discussed in the past, this online petitioning process is either one of Team Obama’s greatest achievements or an idea they will forever regret. All depends on your point of view, right? Other memorable efforts we’ve seen in the past two or three months alone: A request to deport Piers Morgan of CNN A demand for a Joe Biden reality show A large-scale Texas secession effort The Death Star petition may take the cake, despite that stiff competition. After the administration’s delayed response to the petition was criticized online, the good folks in the executive branch finally replied, titling their answer: “This Isn’t the Petition Response You’re Looking For.” “The Administration shares your desire for job creation and a strong national defense, but a Death Star isn’t on the horizon,” the WH Chief of Science wrote In addition to a reasonable aversion for mass genocide, officials worried that the system has a well-known vulnerability – as proven in Star Wars: Episodes IV and VI . “Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?” the WH asked. Hard to refute that. For the impressively long and unabridged response to this attempt at direct democracy, follow the link for the full White House reply .
Karrueche Tran. The sexy, 5’1” biracial fashionista and model has become, over the past year, a crucial cast member of the must-watch Chris Brown-Rihanna soap opera. Who is the real Karrueche Tran? An opportunist or a private girl caught in a very public situation? A new interview with VIBE suggests the latter. Karrueche, whose clothing line “The Kill” made her a Chris Brown business partner – sexual partner came later – opens up about the complex relationship: “It’s a lot going on but it could be a lot worse,” she says of Rihanna and Chris Brown flaunting their love on Instagram. “And that’s how I look at life.” “I take it for what it is. I move forward, grow from it and at this point, that’s what I’m doing. I’m not gonna sit and dwell and become consumed in negativity.” “I could very much be that person, especially when things are so public and so thrown in my face. But like I said, things can be much worse. So I’m good.” Does she see a future with CB romantically, after all they’ve been through in the past year? “At the end of the day, he will always be a friend. We’ll always care about each other. We won’t allow that to interfere. Our business is business.” “I do care about him and I do love him,” she says of the controversial singer and her ex-BF. As for what Karrueche Tran would say if she, Rihanna and Chris Brown ever sat down in the same room together and hashed this drama out? “For everybody, emotionally, that would just be way too much. I’m a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I’d do it.” “I’m a mature person. I can work it out but it would be a lot. (Pause) Yeah, it would be a lot.” If that ever happened, the celebrity gossip and Twitter universes would probably explode due to collective overuse. But it would make for great copy. What do you think of Karrueche Tran? Someone who genuinely cares for Chris and was blindsided by his reconciliation with Rihanna? Or someone with an agenda?
