The shocking news of Paul Walker hit home right here in Atlanta. The filming of Fast 7 was stationed here and it made me think…
The Real Housewives of Atlanta had Kandi Burruss “Save the Drama For Mama” but if Mama’s not careful her wedding invite might get lost in the mail. We break down all the Mama drama in THG’s +/- review … Goodness knows Mama Joyce was always a little off but the woman was riding the crazy train on the latest Housewives. Minus 25. Poor Kandi. Todd seems like a really good guy. He’s stable and honest and he loves her. Plus 40. But that’s not enough for Mama Joyce. He’s not a millionaire so he must be taking advantage of Kandi because in Mama’s head that’s just what men do. Funny thing is that Mama Joyce seems more concerned about herself than her daughter. Who stomps into someone else’s home and asks why there aren’t more pictures of them up? Minus 11. Then Joyce starts throwing shade on Kandi’s long time friend Carmon making it sound like Kandi’s best gal pal and her fiance are getting it on behind the scenes. Talk about drama. Minus 33. Kandi Burruss should have been showing Mama the door. Plus 42 to Todd who miraculously kept his cool when most people would have lost it. Even when Joyce insulted his choice of engagement ring the man held his tongue and was respectful. That must have taken some self control because I know I was yelling at my TV. Kandi and Todd’s finances, relationship or pre-nups are none of Mama Joyce’s business and Kandi needs to stand up and tell her so before Todd has enough of this nonsense…which would make Joyce perfectly happy and that’s nothing but sad. Minus 15. But Kandi’s not the only one with relationship issues. Phaedra still wasn’t speaking with Apollo as she headed off for Alabama. Perhaps Apollo should beware…she was going to learn how to embalm a body. Maybe she thinks it will come in handy closer to home. Seriously though, Apollo went to Peter for some marital advice and it wasn’t half bad. Plus 18 . Peter pointed out that the last thing Phaedra wanted to hear was how Apollo Nida could have had Kenya if he’d wanted her. The correct answer was, Honey, you’re the only woman I want. And Kenya Moore was definitely using those text messages to embarrass Phaedra. Another plus 10 to Peter for calling it. Back home Peter had more fatherly issues to deal with. Cythina’s daughter Noelle says she’s got a boyfriend. Although I agree with NeNe that 13 is way too young to actually date, plus 30 to the parents for getting together to discuss boundaries and showing the kids how to be respectful to one another and the adults. Kenya finally picked out a place to live but does anyone really care? I found it funny how Kenya now called NeNe her good friend because she took an interest in her home search. Minus 12. Girl, NeNe was making fun of your rental in case you hadn’t noticed. And Porsha Williams takes a look at a beautiful condo…but she’s just not ready to move out of Momma’s. Well who would be? Momma gave her the master suite and serves her breakfast every morning. Who in their right mind would want to leave? EPISODE TOTAL: +44! SEASON TOTAL: -287!

It’s estimated that this year’s Cyber Monday will be the biggest online shopping day of the year, and in recorded retail history, for the fourth year in a row. In the next four weeks, analysts project that many businesses can make 40-50 percent of their annual revenue. That’s in just one month of the year! So what kind of Cyber Monday 2013 deals are out there for you? Forget Walmart Black Friday deals. The giant is offering 200 deals on its website today … and each day through Friday, plus free shipping on all orders over $35. Not to be outdone, Amazon is promising new deals as often as every 10 minutes through next Saturday, along with free shipping on “eligible orders” of $35-plus. Clothing chains such as H&M, Gap and Banana Republic also are offering major store-wide Cyber Monday discounts of 40 percent, plus free shipping. If you’re not getting free shipping today, in fact, that’s weak. Of course, it’s far from clear if Cyber Monday discounts are greater than what stores offer online during other sale events, or if supplies will last. But hey, might as well find out. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire continued to burn up the box office, while Disney’s Frozen also made a major splash in its debut over the weekend. Catching Fire grossed $110.2 million in sales over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend, while Frozen brought in $93 million in over the same period. Frozen Trailer From Friday to Sunday, your normal three-day weekend, Fire made $74.5 million, while the animated Frozen raked in $66.7 million in that stretch. Thor: The Dark World and Best Man Holiday finished a distant third and fourth, while Homefront debuted with $6.97 million in three days, placing fifth. Across the board, weekend revenue for the top 10 films rose a staggering 89 percent to $190 million from the year-earlier period, according to reports. By contrast, year-to-date revenue is up less than 1 percent to $9.85 billion. Officials believe speed was a factor in the fiery crash that killed actor Paul Walker, though it will take time to determine how fast the car was going. Paul Walker on His Love of Cars Paul Walker died in the one-car accident in California Saturday at age 40. Sheriff’s deputy Peter Gomez said investigators are working to determine how fast the car was traveling and what caused it to go out of control. Among the many unanswered questions? Whether the driver, Walker’s friend, was distracted or something in the road prompted him to swerve. After the Porsche crashed into a light pole and tree, it burst into flames, killing its occupants. The downed light pole had a speed limit sign of 45 mph. The crash also killed Walker’s friend and financial adviser Roger Rodas, according to Walker’s publicist, Ame Van Iden, who confirmed the tragedy. She said that Walker was a passenger in the 2005 red Porsche Carrera GT when they drove away from a fundraiser in the community of Valencia. Paul Walker Crash Deputies f ound the car engulfed in flames when they arrived. Officials have not identified either person found in the car, as they are unrecognizable. Dental records will be needed to formally identify the bodies. A statement said that Paul was a passenger in the car, and had been at a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide earlier in the day. Walker and Rodas held the event to benefit victims of the recent Philippines typhoon. Walker founded the charity in 2010 to aid victims of natural disasters. On Sunday, fans of the actor gathered to leave flowers, candles and memorabilia from the Fast and Furious action movies for which he is best known. Walker is “gone but he’ll never be forgotten because there are so many people that look up to him,” Joel Perez, 23, told the Los Angeles Times . Paul Walker Mourned By Fans, Friends, Colleagues Production on Walker’s upcoming film Fast & Furious 7 is delayed for obvious reasons following the tragedy, and its future sans Paul is far from clear.
