Uzbekistan Airlines Will Begin Weighing Passengers For Flight Safety How would you feel if you were asked to be weighed before boarding your next flight?? Via TIME Magazine : Uzbekistan Airlines announced a new policy that involves weighing passengers shortly before take off. A statement by the airline announced a decision to install a “special weighing machine” at departure gates, where passengers would be weighed along with their luggage. “According to the rules of International Air Transport Association, airlines are obliged to carry out the regular procedures of preflight control passengers weighing with hand baggage to observe requirements for ensuring flight safety,” read a statement posted to the airline’s webpage. A spokesperson for the International Air Transport Association denied any knowledge of a regulation that would require passengers to stand on a scale, adding in a statement to CNN that airlines normally calculate passenger loads as a mathematical average, rather than a precise, personal measurement. NY Mother Kills 1-Month Old Baby By Throwing Him From Fourth Story Window Sounds like the mother was the real demon… Via NBCNewYork The mother accused of fatally throwing her baby from a fourth-floor window in Queens on Friday allegedly told detectives she killed the infant boy because an “evil spirit” had taken over the child, court documents say. Rashida Chowdhury, 21, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 1-month-old Rizwan Ahmad, whose lifeless body was found with severe trauma on the ground outside his apartment building in Richmond Hill Friday. The infant was pronounced dead shortly after he was found. Medical examiners said the baby boy fractured his skull in the 42-foot fall and had lacerations to his brain, liver and spleen. According to a criminal complaint, Chowdhury confessed to throwing the baby out of her bathroom window. She allegedly said the child had been sick recently and she threw him out of the window because she was “stopping the pain.” She also allegedly told police she thought the baby was possessed by spirits. Chris Brown Denies Being A Bad Father After Nia Guzman Claims Yesterday, we reported Chris Brown’s baby mama Nia Guzman didn’t want their daughter around Breezy because he was irresponsible and surrounded by toxic people. Chris Brown is now firing back at his BM and says he’s a great father! Via TMZ : Chris Brown believes he’s an exceptional father to his daughter Royalty and plans to fight his baby mama’s attempt to limit his custody to just supervised visits. According to our sources, Brown plans to file an opposition to Nia Guzman’s request for full custody … countering her claims that he’s a bad father. Guzman has cited several issues with Chris’ parenting and lifestyle, but we’re told he has a comeback for each one. First off, we’re told Chris will argue he never puts his daughter in harm’s way and has increased security at his home since the recent break-in. Secondly, our sources says Chris will say he has never done drugs around Royalty. Lastly, we’re told Chris will argue he has never allowed “gang bangers” to be around his daughter. Chris has filed his own docs to establish paternity so he can fight for joint custody, but so far a judge has not ruled. Promoting Awareness | Victim Empowerment (a.k.a. PAVE), a sexual-violence awareness nonprofit, is pressuring the Obama administration to revoke Cosby’s Presidential Medal of Freedom. “The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest honor to any American civilian, and Bill Cosby’s name does not belong on it,” PAVE founder Angela Rose told Time. The medal is “presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors,” according to the White House. Then-president George W. Bush gave the embattled comedian the honor in 2002. The petition comes on the heels of Cosby’s recent unsealed admission to having sex with drugged women. “We cannot yet give his accusers their day in court, but we can fight back in the court of public opinion,” the petition writers urge. Although the revocation would be unprecedented (and potentially impossible, according to White House spokesperson Josh Earnest), PAVE is seeking to gather at least 100,000 signatures by August 7. At time of publication, the petition had racked up a little more than 1.3 percent of its goal. Florida Man Arrested For Masturbating While Walking His Dog Gotta love Florida … Via Sun-Sentinel A man accused a week ago of walking his dog while masturbating in public is back in jail after being linked to a similar crime, deputies said. Luis Mora, 63, of West Palm Beach, was released from Palm Beach County Jail June 20 after being charged with voyeurism, burglary, indecent exposure and resisting arrest. But he landed back in jail Thursday on additional burglary and voyeurism charges. The first incident happened June 11, when a woman reported a man looking through her bedroom window. It happened at 11:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Stone Haven Estates Drive, less than 1/4-mile from Mora’s home in West Palm Beach, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s arrest report. The woman was in her bedroom with her boyfriend when her boyfriend heard a scraping noise just outside the window. The boyfriend looked outside to see a small dog, but when he looked to the right, he saw a man looking into the bedroom while standing on a lawn chair leaning against the house, according to the report. SMH… here we go again … Noel Carter Beating A Florida man is making national headlines after he was seen on camera being brutally kicked and tasered by police while he was unarmed and sitting on a curb. The Orlando Sentinel reports: An Orlando police officer kicked an unarmed man at least six times while the suspect sat on a downtown curb, according to video shot by an onlooker, and as he did, another officer shocked the man with a Taser. The Police Department on Monday released the video-recording, which shows Officers David Cruz and Charles Mays arresting Noel Carter, a 30-year-old Hollywood, Florida, man in downtown Orlando Thursday about 10 p.m. The video of Thursday’s arrest was made by a woman who lives across Orange Avenue from the spot of the arrest and appears to show Carter complying with the officers when Cruz, standing to the man’s right, begins delivering kick after kick to his right arm. According to police, that was only part of what happened. The officers were off-duty, working security at Venue 578, a nightclub at the corner of Orange Avenue and Concord Street, when they saw Carter “using physical force” against a woman, the officers wrote in an incident report. Carter was drunk, his girlfriend had just broken up with him, but he was grabbing at her and attempting to keep her from walking away, Cruz wrote. The officers tried to arrest him, according to the report, but he refused to cooperate and tried to run away. The video first appeared Friday, broadcast by WESH-Channel 2. It does not show Carter fighting or resisting arrest. However, on Monday the department produced new supplemental reports. In them, the officers wrote that they argued and struggled with Carter over a distance of 75 to 100 yards. SMH….why’d they have to kick that man while he was just sitting there????

McKinney Cop Recorded Slamming Teen Girl Following Racially Charged Fight How can people be surprised that people of color have an intense dislike of police and authority figures when videos like this are appears almost daily? Via Mediaite At least one police officer has been put on leave in McKinney, Texas after video emerged of him pushing a bystander down and drawing his weapon. The incident occurred Friday when police responded to disturbance call at a community pool. According to the McKinney PD the officers were called because a number of “teens,” also commonly known as “youths,” from outside the neighborhood were using the pool. On its Facebook page the department said a “large crowd” refused to comply with their orders, at which point multiple backup units responded. At some point, according to the cops, a fight broke out between the teens. For the record “commonly known as” should only be used for animals and things, not people. These are children, not a rare species of wolves. However, bystanders told BuzzFeed that the teens had been invited there as part of an end-of-school party, and had guest passes. Some witnesses said nearby parents were upset at the presence of African Americans, presumably from another part of town, at the pool, and said it was actually adults who started the fight, telling the kids to go back to “Section 8 [public] housing.” “I think a bunch of white parents were angry that a bunch of black kids who don’t live in the neighborhood were in the pool,” said the 15-year-old who shot the video. “Everyone who was getting put on the ground was black, Mexican, Arabic. [The cop] didn’t even look at me. It was kind of like I was invisible.” In the video one officer is seen pushing a girl down onto a sidewalk and then drawing his firearm when others approached. “You hit me for no reason,” the girl is heard to yell. The video below is very likely to piss you off. WTF is up with the front flip/roll?!?! SMFH.
