Students Object To African-American Label So Teacher Calls Them N***** Guess that’s just the natural progression from one identification to another…smh Via HuffingtonPost Last week, an Illinois substitute teacher reportedly called a group of four middle school girls the N-word after they asked not to be called African-American. The incident occurred at Jay Stream Middle School in the town of Carol Stream during an eighth-grade social studies class. When interviewed by local news outlet WMAQ, student Mea Thompson, who is of Jamaican descent, said they asked the teacher not to call them African-American since none of them are from Africa. “She said, ‘It’s the politically correct term.’ Then she said, ‘Well, back then you guys would be considered the N-word,’” Thompson said, recalling the exchange. “We were so shocked and we were like, ‘What? Excuse me? That’s not correct to call us that.’ She was like, ‘Well, back then that’s what African-Americans were called.’” The teacher allegedly used the N-word several times over the 80-minute class period. “After the shock and hurt, I’m angry,” Thompson’s mother, Shayna, said. “It’s a new world, and the people of the past that still hang onto hatred and bigotry don’t belong in this world anymore.” When reached for comment, the District Superintendent William Shields said the events in the classroom are still unclear, but said the teacher would not be returning to the school. While the teacher has been removed from her post at the school, there seem to be some who are attempting to defend her “We’re finding that an awful lot of the accounts on the specific words and actions are extremely inconsistent, so it’s very hard to judge this situation,” Shields told The Huffington Post. “We’re proud of the kids. We want them to be able to come to administrators and teachers to speak about issues of not feeling safe or secure. That being said … we’re not having the substitute back because the substitute attempted to teach a lesson outside the curriculum, which we didn’t authorize.” Inconsistencies be damned! Bye, beyotch! People REALLY ain’t isht tho… Police Searching For Men Who Killed 3 In Halloween Hit-And-Run Via NYDailyNews Authorities searched Saturday for the driver and passenger of an SUV who fled the scene after the vehicle struck three teenage girls who were out for a night of trick-or-treating in Southern California. Witnesses said the black Honda was abandoned a short distance from the Santa Ana crosswalk where the 13-year-old girls were hit. On Saturday investigators tracked the SUV to the address where it was registered, but the owner has since moved, Santa Ana police spokesman Anthony Bertagna said. “At this point, we don’t know where the registered owner lives,” Bertagna said. A witness told the Los Angeles Times the girls were wearing costumes with black leggings and dark clothing when they were hit in a crosswalk near an elementary school about 6:45 p.m. Friday. Two of them were declared dead immediately, and a third died as paramedics prepared to take her to a hospital, Orange County fire Capt. Steve Concialdi said. The twin sisters were Lexi and Lexandra Perez, and the third victim was Andrea Gonzalez, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. The front of the vehicle was heavily damaged, Bertagna said. Authorities are seeking video-surveillance footage from nearby property owners while interviewing witnesses. Investigators also collected evidence from the SUV, including fingerprints and DNA samples, he said. “It was Halloween. There were a lot of people out there,” Bertagna said. “These guys fled this car. Did they call somebody to pick them up? Did they live in the neighborhood? Tyga, 24, and the underage Jenner sister were seen in England’s Gatwick Airport, before traveling to France and Athens, Greece, where the young rapper had a concert on Oct. 19. Via Mirror : A 14-strong gang of pranksters parading as armed, sinister clowns have been arrested in southern France for threatening people with knives and guns. The disguised mob were seemingly taking part in the ‘evil clown’ craze seen both in the US and in Britain. The group were arrested last night in a school car park in the Mediterranean resort of Agde, with police claiming that they had been ‘laughing manically’ while chasing locals with weapons. A French national police spokesman said: “Since mid-October, a rumour inspired by videos published on the Internet has created the presence of threatening and aggressive clowns in France. “Symptomatic of the impact of the Internet, this phenomenon can lead to damaging individual acts and disturbances to public order.” The arrests come after a man dressed as a clown was caught in Montpellier last week, attacking a pedestrian with an iron bar. The menacing phenomenon is thought to have been inspired by both a viral YouTube video showing a terrifying clown scaring people, and a recent episode of US TV series American Horror Story featuring Twisty the killer clown. In the northern French town of Bethune, a fake clown also received a six-month suspended jail term last week for threatening passers-by. London’s Metropolitan Police has been dealing with 117 clown-related incidents in 2013 across the capital alone. In Portsmouth, a masked figure lurking in the streets began stroking passers-by with a single red-gloved finger this month. Police in America have made dozens of arrests in recent weeks, with the terrifying trend most prominent in California. So evil killer clowns that attack innocent passersby are indeed real. Welp. A sex-crazed Brooklyn educator had intercourse with several female students, took them to sex clubs and nude beaches and handed out straight A’s to a girl he was sleeping with, prosecutors said Tuesday. The debauchery of Sean Shaynak, 44, came to light after the math and physics teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School was charged in August with sending a picture of his private parts to a 16-year-old student. But that was only the beginning of the lurid misdeeds prosecutors accuse the divorced father of a 9-year-old daughter of carrying out. They include: Get ready, this list is hella long. Taking a 15-year-old to a nude beach in New Jersey without permission and plying her with vodka, tequila and whisky until she passed out at his home. Exchanging some 10,000 text messages with that same girl, in which he asked her to participate in lesbian sex with another student and told her about his experience with a ménage-à-trois and gay sex. Giving another student perfect grades “regardless of the fact she did not do any assignments and left tests blank,” said prosecutor Joseph Mancino. Forcing himself on that 18-year-old student when she resisted his attempt at intercourse. Carrying on a “four-month sexual relationship” with yet another teen, which included a trip to an out-of-state gay-themed sex club where she watched him getting “serviced” by other men. Taking that student on what prosecutors described as a “terror ride” from Queens to Brooklyn that ended with her hiding in the bushes and her teacher screaming and banging on his car. “He threatened to tell her parents,” Mancino said.
