Cuba Gooding Jr. may have won critical praise for his portrayal of O.J. Simpson on this year's FX minseries, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. But the actor is a different kind of juiced in the clip below. It was filmed at at something called the Footwear News Achievement Awards, which held this past Tuesday in New York City. Gooding was on hand to present the Social Impact Award to designer friend John Varvatos. Sounds simple enough, right? But the former Oscar winner, by his own admission, had a tad too much to drink prior to taking the stage… and proceeded to give us one of the more memorable awards introductions of the year. “Nothing says I love you like f-cking sugar,” the 48-year-old actor said to open, referring, we guess, to the food provided at the event. “F-cking boxed lunched. I’m drunk now, motherf-ckers. Deal with it.” The crowd laughed right along with Cuba because… let's face it… they knew they were at the Footwear News Achievement Awards. “I thought the BET Awards were cheap,” Gooding says below. “In the words of Spike Lee, excuse my language but, they can fu-k you too, Spike.” An insider confirms to The Daily Mail that Gooding went straight for the bar as soon as he got inside the venue, prior to making a “beeline for Rihanna.” Gooding was also telling people that he and his wife are now separated. Twitter has had enough of Tila Tequila. Last Saturday, an alt-right convention was held in Washington D.C., with Richard Spencer leading a gathering of the National Policy Institute in showering Donald Trump with praise. But not for his views on gun control, taxes or abortion. For the fact that the President-Elect is helping to once again make this an all “white country.” Among the attendees at this disturbing event was Tila Tequila, the former model and reality star who has shown numerous signs over the years of having severe mental issues. For example, Tila once said that Beyonce is a demon who is all about destroying the souls of children around the world. In this same Twitter rant from May, Tila came right out and said she is a “white nationalist.” She also once shared a photo of her infant daughter with a Hitler mustache . We hate to give her any kind of platform or attention, but Tequila made national headlines over the weekend when she Tweeted a photo of herself holding up the Nazi salute during a dinner at Maggianos Little Italy restaurant. She did so alongside other members of National Policy Institute, as you can see below: In response to this outrageous image, the restaurant posted a statement on Facebook apologizing for Tequila’s actions… and her Twitter account was later suspended. “On Friday night, Maggiano’s in Friendship Heights was the inadvertent site of a protest that caused us to close our restaurant to protect the safety of our Teammates and Guests,” wrote the eatery on social media, adding: “The protesters were upset because of a banquet we were hosting for a group called the National Policy Institute (NPI). This was a last minute booking made Friday afternoon, and the reservation was made under a different name, therefore we were not aware that NPI was dining with us or what the group represents. After the event, an attendee sent a tweet in which she made a “Sieg Heil salute” in support of Hitler and white supremacy. “This expression of support of Hitler is extremely offensive to us, as our restaurant is home to Teammates and Guests of every race, religion and cultural background. “We want to sincerely apologize to the community of Friendship Heights for inadvertently hosting this meeting, which resulted in hateful sentiment. “We want you to know that at the suggestion of one of our Guests, we are donating the profits from our restaurant sales on Friday, $10,000, to the DC office of the Anti-Defamation League, which for decades has been working to bring people together in peace and understanding.” Of course, no one is really focused now on the role of Maggiano’s here. Although the restaurant has released an admirable statement and taken admirable actions. Below, meanwhile, we’ve shared a video of Spencer’s speech. Over the past few days, Donald Trump has come out with harshly-worded Tweets against the Broadway musical Hamilton and the way in which he's portrayed on Saturday Night Live . But he is yet to say anything about Richard Spencer. On Saturday, November 19, Spencer spoke in front of over 200 attendees inside at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C., for the annual conference of the National Policy Institute. This organization describes itself as “dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States, and around the world.” Along with Steve Bannon , Spencer, meanwhile, is a leader in the “alt-right” movement. He has said his dream is “a new society, an ethno-state that would be a gathering point for all Europeans,” and has called for “peaceful ethnic cleansing.” In the speech below, he leads his followers in a cheer of “Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory,” sounding very much like the Nazis who bowed down at the feet of Adolf Hitler. “America was until this past generation a white country designed for ourselves and our posterity,” Spencer said. “It is our creation, it is our inheritance, and it belongs to us.” WATCH THE DISTURBING SPEECH AND REACTION BELOW:
Kate Gosselin says, in a new interview with Good Morning America today, that she's lost track of how many times she's been investigated. For child abuse, that is. It's that frequent an occurrence. Ditto how often Jon has threatened to take her to court. In a candid interview with Amy Robach, Kate was asked if her troubled son Collin really told staff at his treatment center that she was abusive. “I’m in the public eye. I’ve been investigated many times,” Kate responded, calling the claims “unfounded” and implying media sensationalism. Uncovered diary entries from her early days as a mom of eight show that Kate abused Collin and on more than one occasion, however. Collin is now being treated for “special needs.” “He’s plodding along,” she said, adding that in spite of what her ex says, “I’ll go to the ends of the earth for the best for each one of them.” Or, if you believe her ex, hiding them away. Jon claims Kate is holding Collin hostage , for all intents and purposes, and won't tell him where their kid is, so he's taking her to court. Kate says she’s not worried by his legal threats, sighing that she's heard it all before, to the point where it barely even registers now: “I’ve lost track of how many times he’s said that.” “I don’t really pay attention, to be honest.” Collin had been living in the “pre-adolescent unit” at a facility outside Philadelphia, two hours from her suburban Pennsylvania home. Just over a year after welcoming her first child into the world , Naya Rivera has said goodbye to the man who played a key role in this miraculous event. The actress has filed for divorce from Ryan Dorsey. The parents of little Josey Hollis Dorsey, Rivera and Dorsey dated briefly a few years ago. But Rivera then went on to strike up a romance with Big Sean and to get engaged to the rapper in 2013, only to see that relationship fall apart amidst rumors of infidelity (on his part) and controlling behavior (on Naya’s part). After apparently finding out that her engagement was over from Big Sean’s publicist, the ex-Glee star then returned to Dorsey’s arms a short while later. Just three months after they reconciled, Rivera and Dorsey got married in a surprise wedding ceremony in Mexico. “We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife,” the newlyweds told People in July of 2014. “Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for.” It seemed very much like a brash decision and as though Dorsey was nothing more than a rebound. But Rivera proceeded to get pregnant and then birth to her son last fall. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rivera filed for divorce last week and is seeking primary physical custom of Josey. In her very raw and honest memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry,” Rivera revealed that she had undergone an abortion while a part of the Glee cast and had broken up with Dorsey just weeks earlier. This took place the first time they dated. In September, she praised her husband for his reaction to this deeply private old news. “He said, ‘Uh you know, in the short time that we dated, I wish that I could have done something to make you feel like you could have trusted me with that information because I would have loved to have been there with you,'” Riva recalled for the ladies of The Real, adding: “And I was like, ‘God, that’s amazing, thank you so much.’ “I think it was the kindest and best thing that any man could have ever said in that situation. It just made me love him that much more, so I thank him for that.” What happened since this talk show appearance that made Rivera feel differetly about Dorsey? We really can’t say. It reads: “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. “Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.” We wish both Rivera and Dorsey nothing but the best moving forward.
