While getting understandably emotional, LeBron calls Nipsey’s murder one of the most unfortunate events in American history, elaborating on why his legacy is so important. In 2011, the family of a young Timmothy Pitzen had their hearts broken when the little boy went missing after his mother was found dead. This week, the news reported that a frightened, injured teenager begged strangers for help, identifying himself as Pitzen. Hopes ran high that a broken family would be reunited. But now, those hopes have been dashed. Timmothy Pitzen was just six years old when, security tapes reveal, his mother pulled him out of school one day. Further surveillance evidence showed her taking him on a road trip that included water parks. For days, Amy Fry-Pitzen took her son on this unexplained outing while the entire family worried for her and for Timmothy. It has been speculated that Amy was afraid that, because of her history of mental illness, she would lose Timmothy if she and husband Jim divorced. Unfortunately, this outing took an especially tragic turn. On May 13, 2011, Timmothy was last seen alive as his mother checked them out of the Kalahari resort in Wisconsin. That night, after sundown, Amy was recorded shopping for groceries in Illinois. She was, at that time, alone. Hours later, she checked herself into a hotel. A housekeeper found her the next day, dead. According to police, Amy had self-inflicted cuts on her wrists and even her throat, and her body contained a lethal cocktail of drugs. Her alleged suicide note begins with a warning: “You will never find him.” The note additionally promised that he was in the care of others who would protect him. That is … unimaginably heartbreaking for everyone involved. Timmothy's disappearance remains a mystery — and a cold case — to this day. But on Wednesday, the world took notice after a young man claiming to be Timmothy Pitzen appeared in Kentucky. He asked passersby for help. He had been running and there were visible injuries on his face. The young man described where he had been held, and claimed that he had been held captive for seven years. The Pitzen family was cautious, but hopes were running high. On Thursday evening, FBI Louisville tweeted some grim news. “DNA results have been returned,” the tweet reads. “Indicating the person in question is not Timmothy Pitzen.” People had braced themselves for that news, but most had guessed that he was a teen who had suffered greatly and wanted a home to which to flee. (That's not okay, but we can understand why a child who has been traumatized might want to “reunite” with a loving home they've never experienced) But according to multiple reports, the alleged 14-year-old claiming to be Timmothy was not even a teenager. Apparently, his name is Brian Michael Rini. He is a native of Ohio and has a troubling history of legal problems and of mental health issues. Also, the guy is 23 entire years old. While we're sure that he did not make this claim about his identity lightly, this has put the Pitzen family through hell. However, there is a silver lining to this heartbreak. People are once again discussing the Pitzen case. Both the family and law enforcement experts say that new conversations about cold cases can prompt new leads.

Rumor after rumor has claimed that Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins are planning to marry . The reality is that neither of these gal pals have actually come forward to confirm that they’re officially dating. But now, Sophia is speaking openly of her “amazing, loving partner.” Take a look: Sophia Hutchins celebrated her birthday with Caitlyn and a horde of other guests. (She is 23 years old) She has the photos to prove it, which she uploaded to social media. “I have chosen to be very intentional about the people I surround myself with,” Sophia’s caption begins. She then advises her fans and followers to “surround yourself with those that inspire.” Sophia then rattles off a laundry list of desirable acquaintances. She suggests that people surround themselves with “those that are beautiful.” “Those that are genuine,” she adds. “Those that empower you.” “And,” Sophia notes. “Those that choose love.” She then expresses: “I am so lucky to have the friends, team, and amazing loving partner I have.” After making what many have read as a confirmation, she continues. “I cannot wait to share this year with all of these people,” Sophia writes. So, is Caitlyn the “amazing, loving partner” to whom Sophia refers? Many people read her message as saying exactly that. The two have lived and traveled together for years. Lots of people have rooming situations that are purely platonic, but Cait is a millionaire. She doesn’t need help with rent or hotel prices. Why is this no-name declaration of love the closest that the two have come to confirming that they are in a relationship? That is anyone’s guess. Obviously, even though Cait is a public figure, she is not obligated to share any more of her personal life than she chooses. Some believe that she and Sophia want to live out in the open without the seriousness of confirming anything. But … others suggest another explanation. Caitlyn Jenner is a political conservative, even though she finally admitted that Trump sucks . Sophia is also noted for her conservative views, and said that she felt that Cait coming out as transgender helped her feel comfortable transitioning. When Sophia spoke about that, it was clear that she had been concerned about the image of trans folks and the LGBTQ+ community as being liberal. Caitlyn has received a great deal of backlash for espousing conservative views that are at odds with most within the trans community. The company announced that the “Why am I seeing this post?” feature would be the first time the company built information on how ranking works directly into its. App. According to Facebook users will now be able to see why a specific post is on their News Feed by clicking a drop-down menu located in the right-hand corner of that particular post. Per Facebook : Why you’re seeing a certain post in your News Feed — for example, if the post is from a friend you made, a Group you joined, or a Page you followed. What information generally has the largest influence over the order of posts, including: (a) how often you interact with posts from people, Pages or Groups; (b) how often you interact with a specific type of post, for example, videos, photos or links; and (c) the popularity of the posts shared by the people, Pages and Groups you follow. Shortcuts to controls, such as See First, Unfollow, News Feed Preferences, and Privacy Shortcuts, to help you personalize your News Feed. Facebook states that through research it conducted on the new feature, users expressed that transparency “wasn’t enough without corresponding controls.” They wanted the ability to take action themselves, so the tech giant answered their request with the ability to easily manage what they see with “Why am I seeing this post?” Through people’s feedback, the tech giant also said it was able to determine what information deemed “most valuable to highlight.” Source: Facebook Facebook didn’t stop there, they also updated its “Why am I seeing this ad?” feature as well. Nipsey Hussle, a Grammy-nominated rapper just this past year, was shot dead outside of his own clothing boutique in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. He was 33 years old. A multitude of insiders told TMZ and NBC News that the artist was among three victims struck by bullets in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, with the LAPD writing the following Tweet: “At approximately 3:20 pm there was a shooting reported in the area of Slauson Ave and Crenshaw Blvd. 3 victims were transported to a local hospital where one was pronounced deceased.” The incident took place outside of the Marathon Store he opened back in 2017. It wasn’t immediately known whether Hussle, whose real name is Ermias Ashgedom, had survived the shooting, as all three victims were taken to a local hospital and two were listed in stable condition. (Police said a male suspect fled by car and, as of this writing, had not yet been apprehended.) However, NBC News has now Tweeted that Hussle has, indeed, been prounounced dead. The outlet quotes “multiple law enforcement sources” in making this statement, as you can see below: Right before being killed, Hussle appeared to acknowledge some sort of beef or feud, Tweeing the following just a few hours ago: Having strong enemies is a blessing. The rapper hails from the Crenshaw area of California and has been rumored to possess ties to the Crips. But TMZ notes that he’s made music with both YG and The Game, both of whom have been ties to Bloods; having gang ties of any kind, it ought to be noted, is pure speculation at this point. We cannot say for certain if these affiliations exist or if they played any role in Hussle’s murder. (UPDATE: TMZ now writes with confidence that the homicide WAS gang-related, stating that the shooter walked right up to Hussle and shot him on the street; he then ran to a waiting vehicle.) Hussle’s debut studio album, “Victory Lap,” was nominated for Best Rap Album at this year’s Grammy Awards. (He lost out to Cardi B in this category.) Prior to this release, he had come out with numerous mixtapes over the course of a decade-long career. In September of 2018, gunfire also rang out nearby Hussle’s clothing store. But he was not around at that time. The rapper and actress Lauren London are the parents of a two-year-old child; he has another kid from a previous relationship. As the sad word spread that Hussle had been shot, numerous performers and athletes, including LeBron James, 50 Cent and Steph Curry, quickly tweeted best wishes. Wrote Curry, prior to learning that the star was dead: God please cover and restore @NipseyHussle right now!! And 50 Cent: Thoughts and prayers for @NipseyHussle James. meanwhile, simply included a series of exclamation points after tagging Hussle’s Twitter handle. Drake, for his emotional part, wrote this on Instagram after Hussle was confirmed to have passed: F-ck. My whole energy is just at a low right now hearing this. We just linked for the first time in years and said we were gonna do a new song this summer cause it had been too long. The 14-year-old says that he enjoyed that cookies and cream milkshake — that is, until the next day, when he found out he wasn’t the only one who had taken part in sipping on the order from Cold Stone Creamery. “My dad told me to check out the video from last night — and once I checked it out I [watched] five, six times,” the teen told FOX40 . “I felt really disgusted about what had happened.” He continued, “I looked at it, [and thought], ‘Hey, the guy who delivered the food was sipping out of my son’s Cold Stone,’” said the father and homeowner, Rajesh Malhotra. “I was like, ‘Whoa, that’s crazy.’ I mean, how can someone jeopardize the product like that, especially the food?” The Malhotra family says they’re glad no one got sick from the incident, but obviously, the experience has left them with a bad taste in their mouths when it comes to ever using a food delivery service again. “We have trust between the company and the drivers,” Rajesh explained. “Once that trust is broken, we can’t go back to them.” “They just need proper training, Rajesh continued. “Hey, what you did was wrong — and we want to make sure that he doesn’t do that to other people.” The family expects an apology from DoorDash–though they The homeowner told FOX40 he reported the incident to the company the next day and provided a copy of the video, which was more than two weeks ago.
