Channing Tatum Strips Down In ‘Magic Mike’ Teaser

Tatum and his stripper pals, played by Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer, get into some shirtless antics in a teaser for the June release. By Jocelyn Vena Channing Tatum in “Magic Mike” Photo: Warner Bros Sixteen seconds. That’s all fans are getting teased with in the just-released teaser for the “Magic Mike” trailer; the complete version hits the streets late Wednesday on “Entertainment Tonight.” But it’s a beefy 16 seconds, that’s for sure. It features everything fans of the highly anticipated flick could want: Channing Tatum as a shirtless police officer and quick looks at the also-shirtless acrobatics of the other strippers in the flick, including Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer. The tease is definitely quick and dirty but certainly highlights the humor in the film. At one point, Tatum jokes, “You don’t want to know what I have to do for 20’s.” Judging by the footage, it involves a lot of topless antics. Another point of interest comes at the end when Channing — once again without a top — asks, “So are you going to come to the show tonight?” For most fans, the answer will probably be a big, loud “YES!” The Steven Soderbergh-directed film opens June 29. In addition to Tatum, Pettyfer and McConaughey, the movie features a bevy of other Hollywood studs, including Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello. When MTV News caught up with McConaughey recently, he dropped a hint about his own stripper character in the film. “Well, I run the hottest male revue in America, if not the globe,” McCanaughey said of Dallas . “And we are going to simulcast around not only the globe, but the universe, and become the hottest male revue in the universe.” The story follows strip-club owner Dallas, as well as veteran male dancer Magic Mike (played by Tatum), who teaches the game to a newbie who goes by the moniker “The Kid” (played by Pettyfer). The movie is based on Tatum’s own experiences as a male dancer. Soderbergh told MTV News, “It’s a fictionalized version of what Channing went through. Channing’s sort of playing a version of himself, and Alex is kind of playing a version of Channing. They’re sort of amalgamations of other people. No one has ever said, ‘But that didn’t happen,’ because it’s not really that. It’s just the world that I think is really fascinating.” Still not convinced that this film has it all and then some? Well, Bomer recently shared that Tatum even gets his groove on to Ginuwine’s “Pony.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Magic Mike.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Exclusive: Kaskade And Skrillex Team Up For ‘Lick It’ Video

Kaskade tells MTV News the duo did ‘the unexpected’ for the clip, which premiered Tuesday on MTV.com. By Akshay Bhansali Kaskade Photo: Getty Images When Kaskade first revealed that he and Skrillex had produced a song together , fans, artists and critics alike eagerly anticipated the event. Just what would a Kaskade/Skrill team-up sound like? The result was “Lick It,” the Fire and Ice standout that seamlessly integrates both of their sounds. “Collaborating with Skrillex for the track and video of ‘Lick It’ was one of the more unique opportunities I had when recording Fire & Ice, ” Kaskade told MTV News on Tuesday (April 17), the same day their collaborative “Lick It” video exclusively debuted on MTV.com. “Skrillex and I have different styles, but that is part of what made it fun. I like doing the unexpected, and this track and video is something truly distinctive.” After the kaleidoscopes and cityscapes of “Eyes” (featuring Mindy Gledhill), Rebecca and Fiona rocking out with ice skaters on “Turn It Down,” and Kaskade getting his “Sliver” on with Skylar Grey in “Room for Happiness,” the video for “Lick It” is a gritty, technically sophisticated endeavor, helmed by L.A.-based filmmaker Sean Stiegemeier, whose credits include Zedd’s “Shave It” video. “It was a great honor to work with these two artists,” Stiegemeier told MTV News. “The collaboration could not had been more ideal as a director. They would allow me to throw out some wild ideas and then work together towards a concept that we all created and enjoyed.” And wild it is. Filmed in snowy Iceland, the vid depicts a bloody An

Kimbra Talks About Suiting Up For ‘Warrior’ With Mark Foster, A-Trak

Singer ventures into dance-music realm for the power track, which was created for Converse’s 3 Artists 1 Song series. By Jocelyn Vena Kimbra Photo: MTV News Before Kimbra hooked up with Foster the People leading man Mark Foster and well A-Trak for “Warrior,” she had just “dabbled” in the dance music realm. But on the new track, she plants all four firmly on the floor for the track. “It’s refreshing to kind of go into different genres, sometimes when you’ve been working on your own stuff for so long,” Kimbra told MTV News recently. Currently riding high off the success of her Gotye collaboration, “Somebody That I Used To Know,” the singer will release her album, Vows, Stateside in May. She ended up with Foster and A-Trak at the request of Converse for their 3 Artists, 1 Song series, which brings together artists to work on music and a coinciding music video to help launch the brand’s latest shoe line. And it’s not just the song that’s big, but also the message of the song. Kimbra offers up a girl-power battle cry on the chorus, singing, “You’re just pushing me down, pushing me down, pushing me down/(They tell you, ‘Trust your head, be like men’ but never feel like you’re good enough)/You’re just crushing me down, crushing me down, crushing me down/(They wanna take our light, make us fight, but never cry for the ones you love!)/(I’ll be your warrior, warrior).” That in-your-face feeling was actually made with very little face-to-face contact between the three artists, as they were all on separate continents when they mad the song. “I think that was fun for us all to have boundaries in that sense and not be able to be in the same room,” she told MTV News. “But it was kind of fun and we did get the chance to sit down together at one point and that was really great after talking on the phone for so long to finally be in the same room together.” The power of the song’s lyrics is mirrored in the video, which features the trio as luchadores battling it out for supremacy. And, despite several shots where the trio is all together, Kimbra let us in on a big secret. “So the video shoot was challenging because I couldn’t be in L.A. for the time of the shoot,” she said. “So I think I was in Europe at the time, so we organized for my shoot to be done to a green screen. There’s a little bit of face replacement in there as well. I’m telling you all the secrets! “But it’s fun. It’s cool that it all looked continuous enough,” she added. “I’m a bit bummed I didn’t get to do the round-house kicks. That was a stunt double. It was really fun. I always say to them, I could have done [the kicks]. They jumped to conclusions there.” Related Artists Kimbra

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Latin Night Belongs To William Levy

Latin soap star compared to James Bond after Argentine tango Monday. By Kelley L. Carter Cheryl Burke and William Levy on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC With Monday as Latin night on ABC’s reality hit show “Dancing With the Stars,” it should have been Latin soap star William Levy’s week, right? It was. As the actor and his pro partner Cheryl Burke took on the Argentine tango, Levy played every bit the part of a Latin lover with dance skills, wearing an unbuttoned tuxedo shirt. The judges thought he hit all the right marks — and with a twisted ankle to boot. Carrie Ann Inaba said the actor looked like a “Latin-dancing James Bond.” 29/30 Here’s how everyone else fared: Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas Tying Levy at the top was opera singer Jenkins, who also danced the Argentine tango. The judges thought she was perfection and gave her one point shy of a perfect score for her efforts. Head judge Len Goodman said, “This, for me, was like a rose: It had beauty … but underneath was sharp.” 29/30 Maria Menounos and Derek Hough The TV journalist salsa’d her way to a great performance. The judges told her their dance was passionate, hot and had just the right amount of spice. The pair’s routine ended with a hot kiss on the lips. “I don’t think you needed the kiss! The salsa is all about the illusion of passion. Don’t go at it right in front of us,” Inaba said. 27/30 Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd The NFL hot shot danced the Argentine tango, and the judges praised him for his control and execution. Judge Bruno Tonioli said he did a “fantastic job.” 27/30 Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower The Disney star pulled off a routine that wasn’t exactly G-rated. But he kept it clean. Goodman told him he moved like “a young guy with his first car.” Inaba joked that he was “sexy in a Disney way.” 26/30 Jaleel White and Kym Johnson The childhood TV star danced the samba and bared a pretty impressive six-pack in the process. The judges were impressed by his moves, with Goodman telling him, “Your bum was going like you were chewing toffee.” 24/30 Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus The soul legend shook her stuff to the samba, and even though the judges were lukewarm on it, they still praised her. Tonioli told her she was magic, while Goodman said her moves were “simple, but effective.” 22/30 Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy Gilbert did the salsa — a tough feat considering she was injured last week. In her rehearsal segments, she danced around in a neck brace and hard hat. The judges liked her stick-to-itiveness, and Inaba told her it was wonderful to see her gain confidence. Tonioli said she lacked an element of control. “I saw excellent parts and parts that weren’t so good,” Goodman said. 21/30 Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff The pop singer rounded out the bottom. He said in his rehearsal segment that he hoped to continue relying on votes from his fans to keep him in the game. He danced the samba, and the judges weren’t too impressed with his moves. “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry,” Tonioli said before adding, “I actually enjoyed it.” The other judges said it was missing key elements. 19/30 What did you think of this week’s “Dancing With the Stars”? Sound off below!

Mila Kunis Denies Dating Ashton Kutcher

Actress’ rep insists former ‘That 70s Show’ co-stars are just friends. By Jocelyn Vena Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher in Los Angeles on Sunday Photo: Blanco/X17online.com After Mila Kunis was spotted hanging with her former “That 70’s Show” co-star Ashton Kutcher several times over the weekend, the rumor mill began to spin that the one-time onscreen couple began dating in real life. Well, her rep is addressing the rumors and shutting them down. “They’ve been friends for years, and they had dinner with a bunch of friends,” the rep told Celebuzz . “They’re not dating.” The rep continued to Usmagazine.com that there’s “definitely nothing going on there” and that “three other people” were with the twosome when they went out to dinner. According to People.com , those other friends included “70’s” co-stars Wilmer Valderrama and Laura Prepon. The former castmates will all be on hand this Sunday during Fox’s 25th Anniversary special. The friends without benefits were spotted furniture shopping and chowing down at a sushi joint for dinner in Studio City, California, over the weekend. They also were seen later hanging out at his L.A.-area bachelor pad. Whether or not the “Two and a Half Men” star is dating Kunis, it seems his dance card has been quite full lately. Kutcher’s also been romantically linked to Rihanna , who later denied anything was happening between them, telling reporters, “I’m happy, and I’m single.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Recap: Growth is Hard to Find

Growth is a beautiful thing. Of course it can also be hard to find. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion, Part 1, offered up a lot of talk about growth but what we saw was merely a an hour’s worth of screeching, eye rolling, and one upmanship Atlanta style so we’ll break it down in THG’s +/- review … Andy starts off asking why the ladies love to talk about there designer labels. It’s true, these women are always going on and on about who they’re wearing and what they’re buying. They may think it makes them appear wealthy, but they only look like a bunch of insecure wannabes. Minus 12 . Somehow all roads led back to NeNe tonight. If she wasn’t defending herself or yelling at someone she was rolling her eyes while the others were talking. And she was wearing the most ridiculous looking heels of the group. Minus 5 . How the heck does she walk in those things. First we’ll start off with Kandi whose sex toy line, Bedroom Kandi is making her a mint of money. Plus 8. You go girl! Phaedra says she’s helping make sure the products work well but NeNe simply looks uncomfortable. Kandi calls her out on it. Didn’t NeNe used to be a stripper. Maybe so but sex toys are not her thing.

Paul Teutul, Sr. Fired on Celebrity Apprentice

The eight remaining contestants on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice were assigned to build two original puppet characters for Jim Henson’s Creature Shop last night. The celebs had to perform with their creations at Henson’s “Stuffed and Unstrung” live improv puppet show for adults … but it was anything but kid-friendly. At least behind the scenes. Paul Teutul, Sr. volunteered as project manager for Team Unanimous and Lisa Lampanelli stepped forward for Team Forte. Meanwhile, the latest episode of drama between Lisa Lampanelli and Dayana Mendoza came when Lisa banned Miss Universe 2008 from the spotlight. Dayana has developed a thicker skin and started to call out Lisa’s mean, whiny behavior, but last night, she just couldn’t take it after Lisa lashed out. Clay Aiken suggested that Lisa is constantly intimidated by Dayana’s beauty. Probably more or less true … but in any case, they somehow won the task! Paul decided to take Aubrey O’Day and Teresa Giuidice to the boardroom, but the girls put up a fight and ultimately, he was no match and got tossed. Good decision? Bad call? Do you even know who Paul is? Discuss.

President Obama Speaks on Secret Service Scandal

During a press conference in Cartagena yesterday, standing alongside Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, Barack Obama addressed the Secret Service scandal surrounding up to a dozen agents and five members of the U.S. military. They are accused of soliciting prostitutes in that nation and have been relieved of their posts. Secret Service Scandal: Discussed by President Obama After praising the role of Secret Service employees in general – telling reporters these men and women perform “extraordinary service” on a daily basis – he decreed the reported actions of the men cited in this weekend’s report: “I expect that investigation to be thorough, and I expect it to be rigorous. If it turns out that some of the allegations that have been made in the press are confirmed, then of course I’ll be angry… We are representing the people of the United States, and when we travel to another country, I expect us to observe the highest standards.” California Rep. Darrell Issa, who leads the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, says he isn’t certain whether Congress will hold hearings on the misconduct. But he does find it hard to believe this was an isolated incident. “It’s not about whether the president was in danger this time. It’s whether or not you need to make changes so the American people can have confidence in all of their workforce,” Issa said on Face the Nation yesterday.

Daniel Craig Promises ‘Skyfall’ Won’t Be An Emo Bond Flick

Director Sam Mendes isn’t making ‘some chamber piece about people’s emotions,’ Craig assures MTV News. By Christina Garibaldi Daniel Craig Photo: MTV News James Bond fans fear not, there will be plenty of action in the much-anticipated upcoming Bond flick, “Skyfall.” For months, the rumor mill had Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes stripping away the action for the 23rd Bond movie in order to make a more dramatic movie that reflected the emotional depth of the characters. But when MTV News recently visited the London set of “Skyfall” , James Bond himself, Daniel Craig , was quick to dispel those rumors, assuring fans that he and Mendes have struck a balance between drama and the action that Bond flicks are known for. “I sat down with Sam Mendes two years ago, three years ago — now it’s getting on four — and we discussed what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it, and he’s one of the biggest Bond fans around,” said Craig, who’s taking on the 007 role for the third time. “He’s not out to do an angst-ridden movie, some chamber piece about people’s emotions,” Craig continued. “It’s a Bond movie. But we both agreed that if he cast the film, which he did really well, and we brought in older characters and new characters, that we’d have something really rich and sort of exciting to watch.” The cast includes Judi Dench (playing “M” for the seventh time), Ralph Fiennes in a mysterious role and Oscar winner Javier Bardem . “I think it’s a James Bond movie and this movie is going to have everything that any James Bond fan would expect and even more,” Bardem told us. “Also the emotional aspect of it and the action aspect of the movie as well, it’s going to contain a lot of surprises for the audience.” And Bardem should know what fans want as a longtime fan of the franchise. “I’ve seen many, many James Bond movies,” he said. “It’s fun to be part of one of them. It’s really fun, but again, it’s also about the people … around this movie that is really exciting to work with — amazing cast, a great director and great character to play. It’s a very serious movie, it’s very solid.” Bond fans can catch all the “Skyfall” action when it hits theaters November 9. My name is Lexi and I’m 13. I never thought that I would…

My name is Lexi and I’m 13. I never thought that I would ever write a B ieber Experience but here it goes! I found out that Justin was going to be in Florida at a school near my house due to Pencils of Promise. I then told my mom and she said I couldn’t go. The next day I convinced my mom and she finally said yes! I went outside of the school at around 12 and waited until 1:30pm. Since 1:00pm, everyone was saying, “That’s Justin” or “Maybe thats him.” Then finally this gold GMC truck came and someone put down one of the windows. Then everyone started to scream and run. I was right IN FRONT of Justin! As soon as I got there, he held my hand. He didn’t say anything to me but he just held my hand! I was the closest to him! He then asked, “Does anyone want an autograph?” Obviously everyone screamed! He grabbed my Sharpie and he was still holding my hand at the same time. Then he dropped the Sharpie! He then said, “Sorry no autographs” and I saw that Pattie as staring at me! I was star-stuck. I could say a word other than, “OMB! OMB!” All of a sudden Moshe started to drive. We all chased the car. My friend and I cut through the grass and we got to the other side first. Everyone saw me crying and so did Justin, but since he was in a rush, he couldn’t do anything! Then I screamed “Justin” and did he the peace sign! Then all of the Beliebers were crying and we were all comforting each other. We were all exchanging pictures and everything! As soon as we got back to the front again, I started to cry even more. I ran to my mom and thanked her! All the news stations and newspapers came and interviewed us. I was all over the TV. My Bieber Experience was unreal! I think I’m dreaming still thinking about it. He was even hotter in person, he is amazing! Thank you Justin for making my dream come true! To all of the Beliebers who haven’t met him yet, your day will come and cherish every moment! -@ImmaBelieber1JB View original post here: My name is Lexi and I’m 13. I never thought that I would…
