Christmas Abbott, Big Brother Alum, Arrested for Attack on Baby Daddy’s Alleged Side Piece

According to official police reports, it was not a very merry Tuesday afternoon for former Big Brother contestant Christmas Abbott. TMZ and Us Weekly both confirm that the 36-year old reality star turned herself into Tampa authorities yesterday, at which time she was booked for felony criminal mischief. For what rather incredible and violent reason? Scroll down to find out! Based on records obtained by TMZ, Abbott drove to a local Florida gym back in August in order to confront her baby daddy’s alleged side piece. Cops say that Abbott then flew into a complete rage, asking all kinds of questions of this unnamed woman prior to throwing a cup of coffee in her direction. But that wasn’t all. Christmas then rammed into the alleged victim’s car in the parking lot with her own. Abbott was eight months pregnant with her first child at the time, a boy who would be born a few weeks later and named Loyal. The boy’s father is Benjamin Bunn, a fellow fitness enthusiast who is no longer with the Big Brother Season 19 third-place finisher. TMZ quotes this same police report in stating that Abbott called the other woman a “pathetic home-wrecking little slut,” among other insults. She believed at the time of the confrontation that the woman was sleeping with Bunn, even though Bunn told Us Weekly last month that he and Abbott ended their romance last December. “Unfortunately, I had very little contact with Christmas in the last few months of her pregnancy,” Bunn told this tabloid, adding in October: “However, prior to that, we spent almost every day with each other for six to seven months straight. I went to every doctor’s appointment, accompanied her for travel, moved furniture and did all the things that two caring adults do with and for each other… “I was finally able to reach her a few days before [her] due date. I found out she was being induced through Instagram, and shortly thereafter received an email.” But back to Abbott’s arrest: The responding officer on the scene says Abbott kept yelling at her man’s mistress while the officer tried to calm her down. Cops declined to process her because she was so far along, although her vehicle was seized and the sides agrees that Abbott could turn herself in at a later date. And this is what she did on Tuesday. As previously mentioned, Abbott came in third place during season 19 of Big Brother. addition to her stint on the CBS reality show, Christmas is well-known for being a series CrossFit competitor – and she was actually the first female NASCAR pit crew member. How cool and random, right?!? Hours after her arrest, meanwhile, Abbott shared a video of son Loyal Atticus sleeping on her chest. “How could I ever get enough of that sweet smile,” she wrote along with it. “I literally can stare and watch him all day long just to watch him & maybe see a lil laugh or giggle. He simply lights up my heart & makes me so fulfilled!”

Florida Man Wearing Crocs Jumps Into Crocodile Exhibit, Gets Bitten

If you have to visit Florida for some reason, St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park should be on your list of sights to see. But you should visit during normal visiting hours.  And you definitely shouldn't jump into the crocodile pit like  Florida Man  did. That's right, folks. Florida Man is at it again. On Tuesday morning, discarded clothes and a floating Croc shoe were found floating in the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park crocodile pit. As you can imagine, employees of the St. Augustine alligator farm were alarmed and confused. The pit is home to three 12-foot Nile crocodiles. Hopes that the clothes were put there as an ill-conceived prank were soon dashed. They found blood. Employees looked at security video, which showed a man break into the farm and jump off of a roof into the crocodile exhibit. When employees called the police in concern, police had just received another strange call. Officers had responded to an incident involving a man wearing only his underwear. People had seen a strange man crawling “in a concealed manner” while wearing almost nothing and had very correctly called the police. Not only did surveillance footage confirm that this was the man who had broken into the alligator farm, but it was pretty obvious. The man's legs and feets had sustained serious injuries, believed to have been caused by crocodiles. It seems likely that the man's bites, from a crocodile species native to Africa rather than from alligators, would have linked him to the break-in even without the video. This particular Florida Man was identified as Brandon Keith Hatfield. The story that he told to police was nothing short of outlandish. Hatfield claimed that he had been attacked by an alligator. He didn't say that it was a wild alligator, but instead claimed that he had encountered an old man who was walking an alligator on a leash. Hatfield claimed that he was suddenly “surrounded by all these baby alligators.” That bizarre tale would never have explained his injuries under scrutiny. On top of the evidence that he leapt into the crocodile exhibit, it looks like Hatfield is accused of causing property damage. He allegedly “damaged numerous exhibits and statues around the complex causing an excess of $5,000 in damage.” Jay Ruditis, head of security for alligator farm, verbally narrated the security footage. “Watch behind him, there’s a croc trying to attack him,” Jay says. “Now it’s dragging him,” he narrates. “He will get on the shore. It’s got his foot right now.” “It has a good hold on his leg. It’s kind of pulling him in,” he continues. “The croc will flip him, a little death roll in a moment.” Death rolls are how crocodiles disorient, exhaust, and drown their prey. They also use the maneuver to tear off meat from large corpses. “The croc still has him, so what he does is tries to kick it with his foot,” Jay concludes. Apparently, Hatfield ended up on the lawn of a neighboring property. “A little weird to see somebody that early in just boxers,” a neighbor remakred. “Going over your wall into your property saying ‘I was held hostage in a pool with gators” “He says, ‘Yeah, I got bit by alligators.’” the neighbor shares. “Everybody’s looking at him like, ‘OK, he’s got to be on something,'” Police have acknowledged that “he was possibly high on something” Hatfield has been charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Violation of Probation We can't claim to be shocked to our cores that this guy was on probation. We're glad that he survived, but a little surprised that any Florida Man would apparently mistake crocodiles for alligators. Alligators are opportunistic predators that will absolutely eat a human if given the chance. But in general, Floridians see them as a nuisance more than anything else. Like, “oh, one got in the pool again.” Nile crocodiles are one of the largest and most dangerous predators on the face of the planet. These things eat lions. If we had to guess, we would say that Hatfield only escaped because these captive crocs are well fed and had little motivation. We're glad that the crocodiles are okay. They, we should remember, are the true innocents in this story.

5 Things We Learned From The Midterm Elections

Link:

B lack candidates were instrumental in helping the Democrats win the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday, enabling Democrats to end one-party rule and turn up the heat on President Donald Trump . But it was a mixed result, with disappointments in places like Florida where Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum lost in a close race for governor. At the same time, several Black candidates made history, like Ayanna Pressley who become Massachusetts’ first Black woman in Congress . Some of the elections were plagued with a number of instances of attempts to suppress the Black vote, including a concerted effort in Georgia ahead of Election Day that continued on Tuesday . See Also: ‘Dirty Tricks’: Stacey Abrams Voters Won’t Be Denied As Brian Kemp Rigs Voting Machines Here are five takeaways from the 2018 midterm elections: Black women candidates are winners While some African-American female candidates like Jahana Hayes were victorious and others such as  Vangie Williams came up short, they are all winners. Some of these women made history by winning competitive primary elections, as they overcame racism, gender bias and obstacles within the Democratic Party. Congratulations to Jahana Hayes, the former national teacher of the year who just became the first Black women ever elected to Congress in Connecticut. #ElectionNight #Midterms2018 #RepresentTheVote https://t.co/BFuTdEpje8 — NewsOne (@newsone) November 7, 2018 Racism was an effective GOP tool The Republican base responded to racist dog whistles in several elections. Ron DeSantis infamously warned Florida voters not to “ monkey this up ” by electing his rival Andrew Gillum, who is African American. Within days, Florida residents began to receive racist robocalls that mocked Gillum. Stacey Abrams was also targeted with racist robocalls in Georgia shortly after Trump called her unqualified to be governor of Georgia before holding a rally for her GOP rival Brian Kemp . “I heard people were making racist robocalls in my name against Stacey Abrams, who I am one hundred percent for, in Georgia,” Oprah said on Instagram. “I just want to say: Jesus don’t like ugly … And we know what to do about that: vote. Tomorrow show up and show out, and vote.” pic.twitter.com/CvK5VP60Az — Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) November 6, 2018   Triumph for anti-Trump activism “This was a remarkable wave of grassroots activism that swept across the country — with women and people of color leading the way. From a U.S. House of Representatives that reflects the will of the people to the passage of Amendment 4 in Florida, which restored voting rights to convicted felons, this election was an overwhelming rebuke of Trump and Trumpism, and a show of support for candidates who look like America and campaigned on a bold, forward-looking and inclusive vision,” said NAACP President Derrick Johnson .   Vigilance needed to combat voter suppression Fighting against voter suppression is an ongoing struggle that requires tenacity. Georgia emerged as the epicenter for voting rights, where activists filed lawsuits against Kemp to ensure the votes of African Americans were counted. Kemp desperately used every trick in the book to win his election. “Voter suppression played a huge role in the silencing of the political voices of the Black community and all people of color,” the NAACP president said. “As we saw in Georgia and Tennessee, Republicans engaged in a massive voter suppression strategy that has included further rolling back the Voting Rights Act.” GA Secretary of State Brian Kemp stooped to new low in his ongoing efforts to keep black people from voting for ⁦ @staceyabrams ⁩. Voting machines, which fall under his responsibility, were delivered to majority black precincts without any power cords. https://t.co/IxvD4Usoo5 — Jon Cooper (@joncoopertweets) November 6, 2018   Black folks will turn out for midterm elections Black voter turnout was high in 2008 and 2012 when President Barack Obama was running. The numbers tumbled in 2016 . It was unclear what would happen in 2018. Early exit polls suggested that African-Americans showed up in strong numbers for the midterms, according to ABC News . Demi Lovato Fat Out of Rehab of the Day

These pics are a few days old, but I don’t care about Demi Lovato, and even when I heard about her overdose, I thought….she’s lived a long and lucrative life, why not celebrate the unappreciative brat with a fake mental health issue, and a drug addiction, because of how broken she is at her core…. I mean if you have everything, and still fuck around with drugs that kill you, you’re a fucking assole and deserve to die. People have real problems in the world. Entitled Cunt…fuck yourself and the all you can eat buffet you had access to at your rehab facility.. Maybe take up some healthy living, working out, hiking to deal with your annoying problems…because at least you won’t be disgusting to look at, even if you’re disgusting on all other levels. Keep Hope Alive! Jesse Jackson Personally Escorts 5 New Voting Machines Into Georgia Polling Place

W ith such widespread reports of failing voting machines across the country, it took a civil rights icon to steward what could become an iconic civil rights moment during the highly consequential midterm elections on Tuesday. As voting suppression was seemingly being realized in real-time, a video posted to social media showed two men bringing five voting machines into a polling place in Georgia, with the Rev. Jesse Jackson bringing up the rear, looking like he was overseeing the entire process. People could be seen standing around (read: not voting) in the Pittman Park Recreation Center in South Atlanta before the new machines were brought in to a welcoming round of applause that may as well have doubled as a collective sigh of relief. It could become a defining moment in the fight against the very real voter suppression efforts Georgians have seen in the weeks ahead of Election Day. Watch it below. @RevJJackson walking in with 5 new voting machines #gapol #MidtermElections2018 pic.twitter.com/eeD5jUnvNL — Kathleen Quillian (@QuillianK) November 6, 2018 According to  Kathleen Quillian‏, the news producer who tweeted the footage, voters who arrived at Pittman Park Recreation Center were greeted by just three voting machines, forcing people to have to wait for up to four hours. @RevJJackson is at the Pittman Park Recreation center in South Atlanta. Supporting those voters who have waited in line for 4 hours due to only having 3 voting machines. pic.twitter.com/ax2Ba8mQFV — Kathleen Quillian (@QuillianK) November 6, 2018 With such anticipation surrounding the election, it was up to the officials overseeing the election to plan ahead for what was expected to be a high voter turnout. So it was no wonder that the Republican candidate running for governor, Brian Kemp , also happened to be Georgia’s secretary of state. His opponent, Stacey Abrams , could become the first African-American woman in U.S. history to be governor. While voters were reportedly experiencing the entire gamut of issues at the polls — voter intimidation, voter suppression, poll worker apathy, and more — it seemed to be more pronounced in Georgia. In many instances, the issues were resolved quickly, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . Election officials provided spare voting machines. But, then, that still begs the question why all of the voting machines were not made available to voters in the first place, what with all of the complaints about lines that routinely come with elections. Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Breakup: Soon to Get Even Uglier?!

When the world learned that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were engaged , fans were immediately skeptical of the pairing. But even those who predicted that Pete and Ariana would break up had little idea that the relationship would end so quickly — or flameout so dramatically. If you’ve been keeping up with the situation, then you’re probably aware that things got ugly between the exes in a major way last week. It all started when Davidson joked about the breakup during a promo for this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live . Ariana immediately clapped back on social media, tweeting: “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.” Grande then released a song in which she addressed the breakup — a single that she released just 30 minutes before SNL aired. Now, that’s some grade-A shade-throwing, and it was widely expected that the situation would deteriorate from there. But thankfully, it seems Pete and Ariana have both reached the decision to call a cease-fire. “They have no contact now and she keeps moving forward,” a source close to the situation tells People magazine. “She seems very happy and positive. She isn’t talking about dating and is instead focused on work and herself.” As for Davidson, the insider says the young comic is taking it all in stride. “Pete’s unfazed,” the source tells People. “It’s true they’re not in agreement about things after the breakup. “A lot of people thought he was the wild card in the relationship, but that’s not true. Pete has and will always joke about his life, with or without her.” Indeed, Ari has been quite outspoken on the situation, addressing the breakup directly in the lyrics “Thank U, Next”: “Plus I met someone else / We havin’ better discussions / I know they say I move on too fast / But this one gon’ last / ‘Cause her name is Ari / And I’m so good with that.” The same night the song was released, Davidson spoke candidly about the split during the “Weekend Update” segment of SNL: “The last thing I will say is I know some of you are curious about the breakup, but the truth is it’s nobody’s business, and sometimes things just don’t work out, and that’s okay,” he said. “She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.” Of course, Davidson’s plea for privacy and compassion came on the heels of a joke about a wounded war veteran , but that’s a discussion for another time. Rebel Wilson Finally Apologized For Her Petty Patty Ways…But Twitter Isn’t Done Dragging Her Yet

Source: Rich Fury/Getty Rebel Wilson Tweets Apology To Plus-Sized Actresses Rebel Wilson is out here trippin’. Kudos to the actress for landing a lead role in the upcoming rom-com Isn’t It Romantic , but the part where she claimed she was the “first-ever plus-sized girl to be the star of a romantic comedy”—we weren’t here for that . After Twitter corrected her and pointed out that there were many actresses who’d achieved as much before her, Wilson tweeted out an apology. “In a couple of well-intentioned moments, hoping to lift my fellow plus sized women up, I neglected to show the proper respect to those who climbed this mountain before me like Mo’Nique, Queen Latifah, Melissa McCarthy, Ricki Lake and likely many others.” Apparently, she now realizes she was hurtful…you know, AFTER blocking folks on Twitter who respectfully  came for that azz . “With the help of some very compassionate and well-thought out responses from others on social media, I now realize what I said was not only wrong but also incredibly hurtful. To be part of a problem I was hoping I was helping makes it that much more embarrassing & hard to- “acknowledge. I blocked people on Twitter because I was hurting from the criticism, but those are the people I actually need to hear from more, not less. Again, I am deeply sorry.” See her tweets here and hit the flip for some scalding hot responses from Twitter folks.

Audrey Roloff Offers 7 Tips for Finding a "Godly Husband"

Audrey Roloff is not a playa. She just crushes Jeremy Roloff a lot. How did this ex-Little People, Big World star land her sweet, religious and caring husband? Audrey would probably be the first person to say she got very lucky. But she’s also learned a greay deal from being with someone such as Jeremy – and, as she has so often done in the past, the former reality star would now like to pass along that knowledge. Indeed, God has taught Audrey three valuable lessons … … and now Roloff would like to pay it back by addressing “all the single girls out there,” as she writes on Instagram. “Instead of looking for the tall, dark, handsome, charming, nice, athletic guy with a good job.. Here are 7 things to look for in a Godly husband,” Audrey adds. From there, she goes on to list… well… 7 things to look for in a Godly husband. Get out your notebook and follow along, women who are interested: 1.  Loves sacrificially – treats everyone with respect and integrity and puts his needs and wants aside for the good of others. 2.  A man of obvious integrity – honest to the point of vulnerability. Doesn’t over exaggerate or distort the truth.⁣ 3.  Faithfully following the Lord – he prioritizes his relationship with the Lord and is committed to growing in truth and grace and unashamed to speak the gospel and stand firm on God’s word. He’s not easily confirmed to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2). 4.  Leads boldly – he is discerning, he carefully weighs his options and is able to make decisions on his own with clear conviction. 5.  Laughs at himself – he doesn’t take himself too seriously and is not always trying to look like the hero + sense of humor can go a long way. 6.  Models humility and gentleness – he is not easily jealous and is quick to rejoice in others successes! He’s willing to be behind the scenes sometimes. 7.  Purpose driven – he is confident in his calling and determined to live worthy of the calling he has received (Ephesians 4:1), he puts away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11), and works hard in all he does (Colossians 3:23). Simply put, “that’s a man worth waiting for. And that’s a man worth marrying,” concludes Audrey in her post. She and Jeremy got married in September of 2014 and welcomed a daughter into the world about three years later. They really do seem as happy and as content with each other as a couple can be. These Roloffs surprised fans when they quit Little People, Big World over the summer — but they aren’t going too far. Jeremy and Audrey recently announced the name of their podcast and are also coming out with a new book in early 2019. If you have time to take a break during your search for the type of man Audrey describes above, give it a listen and then give it a read. Campaigns Make Final Election Day Push As Celebrities Rally Voters

See the original post here:

C candidates were making their final pushes on Election Day eve to turn out the vote, with celebrities expected to help make the case to Floridians. In one of the most widely watched races in the nation, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was expected to lead a rally Monday night at Florida A&M University for Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum . See Also: Political Races To Watch In 2018 Midterm Elections Featuring Black Candidates “I am so proud to endorse Andrew Gillum, who will become the first Black governor of Florida,” Combs said in a video, underscoring that he’s not endorsing Gillum because he’s Black. “He’s running a campaign for the people. I’ve spoken to him at length. I believe in him — his focus, his ideas, what he stands for.” Diddy was scheduled to be joined by several other stars, including Tiffany Haddish  and Will Packer. Gillum continued to hold on to a slim lead in the polls, according to the NBC News/Marist survey released Monday. The Tallahassee mayor had an edge of four percentage points over former Rep. Ron DeSantis  , a Republican who has the full endorsement of President Donald Trump . Meanwhile, in Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams reiterated her dismissal of rival Brian Kemp ’s unsubstantiated claim that state Democrats may have hacked into computers that hold voter registration data. It was another example of Georgia Secretary of State Kemp’s “pattern of voter suppression,” she told “CBS This Morning” on Monday. Abrams, who could become the nation’s first African-American governor, planned to spend part of Monday campaigning in southwestern Georgia. Several high-profile politicians and celebrities have campaigned for Abrams, including former President Barack Obama, media legend Oprah Winfrey and rapper Common. Delgado is part of the blue wave that Democrats hope will help them retake the House of Representatives. Republican John Faso currently holds New York’s 19th Congressional District seat, but Democrats believe they have a good chance to swing the district, which is 90 percent white, over to their side.
