Rain Brown: Wanting to Quit Alaskan Bush People?!

Considering that Alaskan Bush People is in production limbo while Ami Brown undergoes cancer treatments, we don’t know when the new season will begin. But though the Brown family is living large in a mansion during this hiatus, you figure that, sooner or later, they’ll retreat back into the wilderness to continue filming. Rain Brown said something recently, however, that has fans concerned. it sounds like she wants to quit the show ! We absolutely love that Rain Brown is on social media. Her posts and photos are a great insight into her life and thoughts — sides to her that we would never get to see on a series that follows the entire family. And as carefully as we follow Ami Brown’s chemotherapy treatments , we — and all fans of Alaskan Bush People — need to see that the rest of the family is coping during this trying experience. Remember — cancer patients don’t go through their cancer battles alone. Their loved ones are in the thick of it with them. Just as when we were excited to learn of Noah Brown’s engagement finally being official and confirmed, we welcome any positive news about the family. Rain Brown, however, the youngest of the Brown clan at just 14 years old, has revealed more than just her quirky side and fondness for equality over Instagram. Rain Brown is depressed . And this is not a new development, either. What’s worse, she’s often felt sidelined or ignored when speaking about her battle with depression. No one should be dismissed because of their youth. In fact, teens and preteens experiencing depression can be at extremely high risk, which is why treatment is so important. Hormones and a tumultuous social life can both work to exacerbate depression symptoms. And Ami Brown’s cancer battle must also be taking its toll. Rain’s alarming new post doesn’t refer to any of that, but you can see how it all might be an influence if she’s tired of being on Alaskan Bush People . The picture is fine (it looks like a still from a Vine, actually; gosh I miss Vine), but the caption is what has fans worried. “This is my I don’t really want to take this picture but I love the person who I’m taking it for look #yup #idontwannadothisanymore #hurtinginside #staystrong #stayhappy” In case you find hashtags overwhelming, Rain wrote: “I don’t wanna do this anymore” and “hurting inside.” Both of those tags are huge red flags — not only for her mental health, but for fans of the series who enjoy he role on the show. Fans were quick to comment, and Rain Brown even responded. … One fan wrote: “If you want to quit, then stop. You will be so missed. I so look forward to your posts. If you need to get out of the public eye do it! You can’t be strong for others if you don’t take care of yourself.” Honestly, Rain Brown is a minor, so we doubt that she ever had much of a choice to begin with and we don’t know that she gets to decide that for herself now, either. Rain jumped in, however, and replied: “I was actually talking about taking a picture lol.” We have to say that “hurting inside” sounds a little more serious than posing for a photo, but it may be that her humor isn’t translating well over Instagram. But that’s okay. She’s 14 and she’s just figuring out how to (and how not to) deliver her quirky brand of humor to her fans. This is a relief. Though, as long as the show remains in hiatus for Ami Brown’s treatments and recovery, we won’t know for sure if the show will go on. Rain Brown Praised, Scolded for Equality Message!

You may not think of Alaskan Bush People as the best platform for progressive ideals, but you should remember that the Brown family is made up of real people with a lot more depth than could ever fit into a reality series. The family’s youngest, Rain Brown, uses social media for a lot more than just delivering updates on her mom’s health and speaking about her battle with depression . She also uses it to promote wonderful messages about making the world a better place. And she’s getting some well-deserved praise (and undeserved hate) for it. Before posting her own miniature essay on equality in the captions, Rain posted an existing image that reads: “I am a nasty woman because I believe in love, acceptance, equality, kindness, respect, and the power of my voice.” Though Rain doesn’t say so herself, this quote was inspired by Ashley Judd who, at the Women’s March, recited a poem by 19-year-old Nina Donovan. And, obviously, the “nasty woman” line was inspired by what Trump so infamously said about Hillary Clinton at the debates. Instead of giving background on the quote contained within the image that she posted, Rain wrote in her own words about the importance of equality and what it means to her. “Equality is SO important.” A simple statement on its own, but very true. “No one it’s better no matter their sexuality, skin color, or gender.” Also true. “We are all people, it’s so sad to me that we are living in 2017 and STILL we are not all treated equal, if you’re different, good!” She’s such a sweet person. We have to wonder what brought on this topic, right? She had previously improvised a song in which she joked about being better than the listener, but this was just her hitting back at trolls who fill her Instagram comments. So … what prompted Rain to talk about equality? We’re not sure, exactly. But Rain does talk about how the issue of equality impacts her, personally. “You actually had the power and strength to stand up for something, and something that is NEVER discussed in media is age equality.” To be clear, she’s not equating ageism (which can impact the young and old, if in different ways) with slavery or anti-LGBT bigotry or anything like that. But it’s a topic that, she’s right, doesn’t get talked about enough. “Just because I’m 14 doesn’t make me less of a person then a 60 year old our time spent on this earth or how we spend it shouldn’t change the way people treat you.” Rain Brown may be referring to her recently revealed battle with depression , which she says was dismissed off-handedly because of her youth. (When, in fact, adolescents are more vulnerable to depression than most other groups; with symptoms exacerbated by hormones, a depressed teenager should get the counseling and medication that they need) But Rain is not trying to make the message of equality all about her, of course. She’s just talking about how it relates to her, personally. “For everyone out there that is sad or been bullied or lied to it happens to literally everyone.” Unfortunately, that is true. “So just don’t return the favor, basically what I’m getting to is, all my life I’ve wanted to change something and so many people tell me I can’t, but I already have, even if no one agrees with me I still made them think.” She’s right — don’t get mistreated and then turn around and do it to someone else. And it sounds like people don’t listen to her enough. Perhaps, because she’s the youngest, people can’t help but see her as a baby. But she’s not anymore. “And I’m not about to let anyone make me give up on my dream, my mission is to spread love and light on this dark world, join me be strong and fierce but kind and compassionate to your neighbors, life is all about balance.” So she’s not listening to trolls. Good. Commenters were quick to praise the young Alaskan Bush People star for her stance. “I liked you before this. Now I freaking love you Rainy!!!! Equality, respect, kindness, and acceptance are paramount in this world.” Very well said! “Your response is exactly what I would expect from a young women raised by an amazing mom. Thumbs up! I can only hope my 13 year old daughter learns your family values.” Awww, a shout-out to Ami Brown while praising Rain! Cute. “You are such an outstanding person.” And there were many more positive comments. There were, of course, some negative comments. Even though Rain is 14 and shared a positive message, some people just want to get into arguments. “Equality, acceptance, all good, but Romans chapter 1, God says diffrent.” We’re not going to get into an academic debate about Biblical passages, but … well, we’re pretty sure that Romans is attributed to Paul . (Honestly, that’s beside the point, because adults have no business going into the comments of a 14-year-old’s post and starting theological arguments or arguments of any other kind. She’s a kid; be nice or get out) “There is no such thing as equality. We are all different. Although well meaning ‘equality’ creates division. Males and females have different abilities on average and different races have different attributes. We must accept our differences and move on to be happy.” So that one’s, like, straight-up racist, among other things. (The “different races have different attributes” line is fine if you’re talking about, like, elves or orcs … not real-life people) “My advice is to listen to wise advice. ‘A Nasty woman’, is a nasty term from nasty feminists. I’ve always admired your mom for being a sweet lady, with so much faith, not a nasty woman.” That last hateful comment is best read in Gollum’s voice. We hope that Rain can set aside the hate, though. View Slideshow: Rain Brown: See the Alaskan Bush People Star’s Selfies That Get So Much Hate!

Teen Mom Dads: Outrageous (And Hilarious) Demands Revealed!

Let’s be real, the magic of the Teen Mom franchise has always come from the ladies. That’s why it’s called Teen Mom, you know? People are interested in Jenelle Evans’ latest meltdown, or Chelsea Houska’s latest act of adorableness . That’s what people want to see. And sure, the dads are fun and all — Javi Marroquin obviously lives for his reality show fame , and everybody has fun fawning over Cole DeBoer. But they’re just nowhere near being on the same level as all those girls who, once upon a time, were 16 and Pregnant. We know this, MTV knows this, and on some level, the dads themselves have to know this. But hey, sometimes you just have to take a shot … and according to this delightful new report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the dads really went for it for this weekend’s reunion show! According to the website, the whole Teen Mom 2 crew, as well as some Teen Mom OG cast members, are flying out to Los Angeles to film the reunion and some various specials. MTV is footing the bill for all the flights, which makes sense, since it is a business trip. But MTV got the guys tickets in coach, and for many of them, that simply did not fly. Several sources told the site that many of the guys demanded first class tickets, and one even insisted that the network buy a first class ticket for his girlfriend, too. Spoiler: it did not happen. “The show pays for the guys to come to the reunion,” one insider explains, “and will pay for their significant other or guest to come as well.” “But the network said no way would they pay for first class for the guys, who are just supporting characters on the show.” Jenelle, Chelsea, Kailyn, and Leah, as well as their children and one guest each, were given first class tickets — it’s not clear if Briana DeJesus earned that luxury yet. The source says that even that is “a relatively new thing MTV is doing for the girls,” and that “they never flew them first class before, always coach or business.” That makes sense though, because with the level of fame the Teen Mom girls are reaching, they’ve been having more and more of a hassle while flying coach. And since most of the moms would be the ones flying with the kids on the show, that means they’ve been getting hassled, too. However, the source says that “the guys get a coach ticket though, and that probably won’t change.” “They are reminded that they are free to come out-of-pocket and upgrade their coach ticket if they’d like.” Hilariously, “The guys who were demanding first class tickets at first said they wouldn’t attend the reunion if they didn’t get upgraded tickets,” and MTV refused to give in. “They were told not to come if that’s the case.” How amazing, right? And let’s be real, it’s not like any of the dads would really be missed. The Ashley wouldn’t reveal which dads were behind this little diva fit, but they did make it clear that Adam Lind wasn’t one of them, which seems like a given, considering he quit the show and hasn’t filmed this season . That leaves David Eason, Nathan Griffith, Corey Simms, Jeremy Calvert, Jo Rivera, Javi Marroquin, Cole DeBoer, Devoin Austin, and Luis Miguel. The moms’ current partners would likely be their first class guests anyway, so David and Cole are out. It’s pretty easy to see Nathan and Jeremy heading up this douche committee, right? We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: this reunion show is going to be beautiful. View Slideshow: Teen Mom Dads, Husbands & Boyfriends Ranked: Who’s #1?!

Julia Garner from Netflix Nipples of the Day

Her name is Julia Garner and she’s an actress and model on a show called Ozark, but more interestingly, she’s got a see through top on at the feminist celebrating women event that a bunch of self involved narcissistic women, to celebrate yourself and each other, while really talking shit about the other girls, but pretending you’re part of some woman movement, even though your life is competing with each other, not bringing each other up, because you’re cunts… I don’t know it’s all nonsense that is comical if you actually look at what’s going on… That said Alessandra Ambrosio was also there in a sheer outfit…you know because she’s not a self involved exhibitionist who whored herself out to the world to give the people mainly women unrealistic goals, still at 60….. Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25 Recap: Welcome, Cheryl Burke!

Abby Lee Miller was a distant memory on Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 25 , and that’s because of Dancing with the Stars pro, Cheryl Burke showed up to take her place.  When the episode got underway, the mothers found out via social media that Abby Lee Miller had announced her intention to quit the show and it did not go down well with everyone.  This was especially concerning because nationals were just two weeks away and nobody knew what was going to become of the teams. Jill noted that she was shocked, but she probably knew.  The coach was facing a stint behind bars because of her tax fraud, so they should have gotten a backup plan in motion before her exit.  Ashlee continued to play bitter and trashed the dance routine from The Irreplaceables’ performance, and Holly was quick to point out that it was a good one.  Cheryl Burke appeared and brought along Ryan Ramirez to help sort things out with the girls. The moms knew a lot was riding on them making it through this next competition.  Cheryl quickly noted that the girls were lacking confidence and chalked it up to what was going on with Abby on social media. Their phones were blowing up because fans were reacting to the news.  Cheryl wanted the mothers to get on board with the team and stop talking about Abby. The mothers got mad when they heard the other girls were going to the same competition.  During rehearsals, the other girls were just not feeling it, and it seemed like they just wanted to roll over and give up. Cheryl decided it may be time to demote Kendall because she was not getting the routine.  The mothers then tried to blame themselves for the way their daughters were acting. Yes, it was terrible and proved just how toxic the environment is on this show.  Things with the other girls were not good, either. Abby had shunned them and told them they could not use the studio. They managed to reel in Miranda to choreograph for the girls. Stacy then said they should pay tribute to Abby with the performance.  That would be a good idea if Abby did not ditch them like a hot potato. They called the group routine “We Surrender.” Yes, they want Abby back.  Ashlee was struggling to come to terms with the fact that Christi and her followers were bashing her on social media. Jamie put it all down to the other moms being scared they win the competition.  At the competition, Chloe and Nia came in third place for their duet, but Camryn and Kendall secured a first-place finish. Abby’s girls managed a second place finish in the group routine, but The Irreplaceables crated in fifth place.  Abby then texted Miranda and fired her, but Ashlee and Brynn decided the show was not for them any longer and they departed. What does this mean for the other girls? Time will tell.  What did you think of the action? Sound off below! View Slideshow: Lifetime Reality Shows: The Ultimate Rankings!

Noah Brown Confirms Engagement to Rhain Alisha!

Move over, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas . You aren’t the only famous couple that got engaged over the weekend. Okay, maybe you are. But this doesn’t change the fact that Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown has confirmed he’s set to marry Rhain Alisha. He alerted fans to this news via a touching Facebook post that reads as follows: Rhain Alisha has been so patient and supporting through everything that has been happening, my mothers cancer, having to leave Alaska, my car keeps breaking down, and all in all I have been thinking of how thankful I am that she moved in with we instead of going back to Oregon and now we are engaged and planing our life together. Rhain Alisha is everything I could have ever wanted. She is my Soulmate my Angel my DreamGirl. She makes me the best Version of myself, I know that as long as she loves me that some day I can be the man that Rhain deserves. Thank you God for giving me Rhain Alisha Merrill. Brown included with these kinds words the picture of Rhain (birth name: Ruth) below: Brown is a cast member on Alaskan Bush People, but he’s been criticized of late by his fans for essentially abandoning his family during their greatest time of need . Some supporters have taken issue with Brown because he’s been sharing social media images of himself and Rhain taking trips to the zoo and other places… … all while his mother, Ami, is dying of lung cancer. Is this a fair critique? We’re really not in a position to say. It’s true that Noah has not said much publicly about his mother’s illness, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he isn’t heartbroken over it. (It’s also true, incredibly, that Noah has a sister named Rain and is now engaged to someone named Rhain. What are the odds?!?) As far as we know, Ami Brown is now out of the hospital. This is positive news, of course. But most outlets still say the family matriarch is pretty much on her death bed . She has stage four lung cancer and it isn’t operable. There isn’t much doctors can do at this point. We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to the Browns, while also wishing Noah the best on his engagement. NeNe Leakes: I Had a REAL Breakdown, People!

NeNe Leakes has not had a great week. A few days ago, the reality star stepped into some scalding hot water after she responded to a heckler at a stand-up show by telling her she hopes she gets raped by her Uber drive . Yeah: YIKES ! After receiving some well-deserved backlash for this remark, Leakes was fired from The Great Xscape Tour and sources have said she may also be let go from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe proceeded to issue a heartfelt apology, saying on Instagram: “I truly regret and apologize for what I said from the stage in Oakland over the weekend… “As a woman and someone who has survived abuse, I regret the words that I used.” Pretty straightforward and, really, all NeNe could say given the circumstances, right? But with the criticism increasing and her career in jeopardy, Leakes then recoded a video in which she bawled her eyes out and REALLY apologized. “I never want to cause harm to anybody else, not in that kind of way,” she said this time around, adding: “Everybody who know me knows that I never would want that to happen.” So… days later, how is Leakes feeling about everything right now? Pretty good, but it got ugly there for a bit. “A lot of people know me as NeNe who’s laughing and talking, a lot of don’t know me as NeNe who would break down,” Leakes said on Instagram last night, expounding as follows: “I actually had a real breakdown.” Don’t panic, however, fans. NeNe says she’s in a much better place now. “Trust and believe, I’m so okay, I’m in a great place today,” she said. “I can’t say I haven’t been in a great place these last few days. I’m so okay with everything, I just haven’t talked a lot or spoken out a lot.” The Bravo star was scheduled to host a November concert featuring girl group Xscape (including her Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kandi Burruss). However, the group announced yesterday that they were “dismayed” by the remark Leakes made. “Yesterday I got a little bit emotional. I have never said anything that the heckler said to me. All the girls on the tour with me know what happened,” Leakes continued on Instagram. She concluded optimistically, stating: “I plan on not letting anyone take my joy. I created my own show because I wanted to get out and express some of the things that I have inside of me. “I don’t consider myself a comedian, I always say that. I’ve said that since the day I first started. I just consider myself a s–t talker, a funny lady. I never imagined ever, ever, ever stepping on stage and somebody screaming out ‘Go kill yourself’ to me. “It literally took me somewhere else, I apologize. I’ve let that go.” So… NeNe is mostly sorry, yet also wants everyone to know that the heckler told her to commit suicide. We can understand how that could be traumatizing. We can’t understand ever making a rape joke, though. And we definitely can’t understand hiring NeNe Leakes to do a stand-up act. View Slideshow: 15 Real Housewives Stars Who Have Been Arrested
