Farrah Abraham travels the world, both to attend various gigs and to continue hiding from process servers to avoid being sued . One fan expressed her desire to travel abroad just once, and asked Farrah if she could somehow help her get her dream Honeymoon. Farrah could have said yes, or ignored the request. Instead, Farrah openly mocked the woman for being poor. A commenter reached out to Farrah upon seeing her visit some of the most romantic and popular sights in Europe. “Would u give me a honey moon my husband and I [couldn’t] afford one we both work full time,” one fan begins. The fan and her husband “have 4 kids between us and do everything we can for them.” “It’s hard to do anything for us or get a chance away from work,” the commenter laments. She concludes: “I was a teen mom myself and went thru my journey while watching yours.” Farrah could have just ignored the comment and moved on. Instead, she had to type her reply. “Either [you’re] marrying the wrong guy or you wished you were marrying me…” Farrah’s cruel reply begins. (Yes, there’s a lot to unpack just in that sentence … we’ll get to that) Her nasty response continues: “My honey moon this week is Venice ITALY & PARIS FRANCE.” Farrah didn’t just write that reply, but she shared a screenshot to ensure that her followers could see how unkind she can really be. First of all, in case you missed it, Farrah’s reading comprehension skills are about as lacking as her writing. It’s possible that everything that she writes looks like word salad nonsense because she’s writing at her reading level. This woman is already married. She and her husband — not fiance — were unable to afford a honeymoon back when they did get married. But Farrah interprets this woman as someone who is engaged. Oh, Farrah. The mockery in her response is much more shameful than her simple misinterpretation. Farrah tells this woman that she’s marrying the wrong man … because he can’t afford to splurge on a honeymoon to Europe. In real life, there are lots of reasons to marry. Prioritizing someone’s personal wealth over all else can lead to a lifetime of affluent misery. Farrah just decided to insult this woman’s husband and judgment at the same time. As if that weren’t enough, she goes on to brag about visiting Venice and Paris for a “honeymoon” of her own. The woman already knew Farrah’s itenerary. She didn’t have to rub it in her own fan’s face. But this isn’t surprising or shocking behavior — not coming from Farrah, if you’re familiar with her personality and pattern of behavior. When Rebecca Crews learned that her husband Terry Crews had been unfaithful, she didn’t find out in some salacious manner. Her story begins the way that many stories of this nature begin: with women’s intuition. “I didn’t have pictures. I didn’t have some skeezer calling me,” the mother of five shared. “It was purely this internal knowledge that we were disconnected.” During season three of OWN’s “Black Love” series, the former reality stars get extremely vulnerable with viewers as they discuss Terry’s addiction to pornography and adulterous affair — something the actor broke down and confessed to his wife after two decades of marriage. Can we start again?’” a teary-eyed Terry recalls in one episode. “But she said don’t come home.” It was a difficult decision that led to a trial separation, but it was one of the best decision’s Rebecca has ever made. “I wasn’t having no parts of reconciliation until my husband came home from rehab,” Rebecca told MadameNoire. Though he was in recovery for addiction to pornography, Rebecca believes that her husband also struggled with another form of addiction. “There is an addiction to the thrill of doing something that is forbidden. Some people are insecure and they want other people to desire them,” she said. “They have this validation issue and there was some of that with my spouse.” When Terry returned from rehab, he was like a different person — much to the astonishment of his wife of twenty-two years. “He was very humble, broken, apologetic,” said Rebecca, “He really had the desire to try and be a better person. He just blew me away with his sincere, religious attempts to prove to me that he was a better person and was going to stay a better person, that he was going to fight this demon with everything in him.” Though the former cosmetologist admits that it took her years to fully trust her husband again, his fervent dedication to the process of getting well eventually won her over. “That’s all that you can ask of somebody is that they choose to get better for themselves. You are then the beneficiary of that,” the Michigan native shared. “There’s no remedy for a guy who doesn’t want to change — except to exit. That can be hard to believe when they are really showing you, ‘We don’t matter enough for me to be different.” While her story had a happy ending, the Michigan native cautioned women against leaving their partners simply to get a reaction out of them. “You have to mean it. It’s not like ‘Oh, I’m going to pretend I’m throwing him out and I’ll see if it acts right after that.’ No, you’ve got to be ready to go alone,” Rebecca advised. “For some reason, I had hit that breaking point and the breaking point for me was 22 years in. I had no idea that my husband would turn his life around, but I had to make the choice that was best for me. And I say that I lucked out because he turned out to be one of the better ones because he shifted his perspective.” Terry’s stint in rehab did not just breathe new life to his dying marriage, it freed him from the shackles of emotional bondage otherwise known as being a Black man in America. “No one tells a little Black boy he can just fall apart and cry,” said Rebecca. “I never saw that man cry. I lost a baby. 6 month pregnant and he didn’t cry. He didn’t cry and I was like, ‘There’s something wrong with you.’” The recovery process, however, caused the floodgates to open. “While he was going through recovery, he cried almost every day,” the former reality television personality shared. “Many men are out of touch with their emotions. They’re not even wondering ‘Why am I doing this?’ That’s something my husband said that he had as an awakening during rehab that he had been kind of walking through life relatively asleep at the wheel, just allowing himself to be pushed and pulled by circumstances and impulsive behavior and never questioning why. As those things began to manifest through the therapy, he cried. He cried all the time.” It’s never easy being the partner of an addict and Rebecca believes that in some ways, she unknowingly enabled Terry in his addiction. “There’s a degree of blindness to the fact that you’re dealing with an addiction. You’re just asking yourself, ‘Why do they act like that? Why do they act like that?’” she shared. “There was a time when Terry was — and I believe this was a reflection of his addiction — he would be irresponsible with our money. I struggled all the time when I had to make calls to one of our creditors, basically pleading for time because he had done something dumb with the money.” She went on: “I remember thinking, stupidly, at the time, that I wasn’t enabling and that I was just keeping things cool so that I didn’t end up getting put out. But looking back, I wish I had let him suffer the consequences of that decision. But because we were all riding on that boat, I think that unwittingly, I was responsible for letting it continue because I didn’t see an alternative other than packing my kids and getting out.” Hindsight, of course, is 20/20 and knowing what she now knows, Rebecca advises anyone dealing with an addicted loved one to allow them to face the music sooner rather than later. “With an addict, I just have to say, the sooner you can put your foot down with them, the sooner you can have peace. And that’s one of the hardest things for us as loving spouses to do is to put that foot and don’t move it,” she said. “Do not tolerate behavior that puts you at ease for the moment but then leaves you in the lurch in the long run.” She adds that this doesn’t mean that you immediately move to divorce; however, things will not change until difficult decisions are made. “If you’re not going to be present, then maybe you should go. If you’re not going to be responsible, we can’t be together. And that doesn’t mean that you go file your papers. How did you feel when the hashtag first started popping off? I think that was the icing on the cake. W hen you’re threatening culture, the foundation of the city, like the thing that made people come together. It’s community, it makes people feel free and happy. I just remember growing up and burning go-go on my CDs. Like “Roll Call” by CCB was on repeat and “Sexy Lady” by UCB. This is our sh**. It’s not often you get to see a group of young, funny, professional kids carrying an entire Rated R film on their backs — but alas, Jacob Tremblay , Keith L. Williams and Brady Noon did just that. The brilliant preteens star in one of the summer’s most anticipated comedies, Good Boys ; produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg who also gave us classics like Superbad . The profane and hilarious flick tells the story of three sixth grade boys who ditch school and embark on an epic journey while carrying accidentally stolen drugs, being hunted by teenage girls, and trying to make their way home in time for a long-awaited party. I caught up with the kid stars of the movie, and Molly Gordon (who plays Hannah) as they dished on everything from awkward crushes to the first Rated R film they were allowed to watch. Noon: Mine was Caddyshack, with Bill Murray. I watched that with my dad. Williams: Mine was Superbad. Noon: Really? When me and you watched it, that was your first Rated R movie? Williams: That’s the one that I was allowed to see. We probably don’t need to tell you that there’s nothing normal about our current political climate. Regardless of where you may have planted yourself on the ideological spectrum, you’ve likely experienced an increase in politically-charged animosity in recent years, maybe even including a strained personal relationship or two. Yes, in 2019 it seems the tendrils of political discourse have crept into every aspect of our lives, which is how we end up with heated feuds between people who rarely talk about politics because they’re smart (in this case, Taylor Swift), and people who shouldn’t talk about politics because they’re dumb (his name is Kiiiiiiiiid … Kid Rock!) We guess “feud” isn’t exactly the right word for this situation, since at this point it’s just a middle-aged weirdo with a heavy Busch Light buzz shouting at a twentysomething A-lister who probably couldn’t care less. Anyway, the 48-year-old man who unironically refers to himself as “Kid” took a random shot at Taylor on Twitter today: “Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period,” wrote Kid Rock, apropos of nothing. “And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.” In case there was any doubt that he stands by his words, Mr. Rock helpfully signed the tweet, “Kid Rock”. It’s anyone’s guess what’s going on in Kid Rock’s head, a place where the top porno flicks of 1993 play on a constant loop behind a haze of thick Marlboro Red smoke, but it seems his comments were inspired by Taylor’s interview in the September issue of Vogue , which dropped on Thursday. Swift famously kept mum during the 2016 election, leading some to theorize that she was a secret Trump supporter. She clarified her stance in the Vogue piece, saying: “Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement. “He was going around saying, I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you.’ I just knew I wasn’t going to help.” Recalling the state of her own reputation in 2016, Swift added: “Also, you know, the summer before that election, all people were saying was, ‘She’s calculated. She’s manipulative. She’s not what she seems. She’s a snake. She’s a liar.’ “These are the same exact insults people were hurling at Hillary. Would I be an endorsement or would I be a liability? ‘Look, snakes of a feather flock together. Look, the two lying women. The two nasty women.'” If Taylor’s remarks contained anything that could be reasonably described as an attack on Trump, it was a very, very mild one. But apparently, it was enough to trigger Kid Rock who was so upset that he was unable to stick to politics and felt the need to crudely suggest Taylor exchanges sexual favors for movie roles. The tweet is absurd for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that this man-baby has found a way to force the internet to pay attention to him for a few hours. On top of that, does Kid really think Taylor has trouble finding work. No, even Kid Rock isn’t that stupid — he’s just acting out to try and please he Daddy Donnie. As you probably know Rock is a massive Trump supporter and even earned an invite to the White House in 2017. His sudden interest in politics is all part of the former Detroit rapper’s effort to rebrand himself as a Southern Good Ol’ Boy. It’s shamefully transparent theater, which is why Mr. Rock occasionally needs to ramp up his efforts and go on the offensive. Thankfully, most everyone sees this routine for what it is, including Twitter’s own roast queen, Chrissy Teigen: “you’re pathetic. – Chrissy Teigen,” she tweeted in imitation of Rock’s hilariously clueless format. In the replies, many have pointed out that Teigen is close friends with Kim Kardashian and Kim is still feuding with Taylor . That may be true, but some things are bigger than celebrity beefs.
