Middle School Teacher Fired For Asking Students If They’re Comfortable Around Blacks And Arabs A middle school teacher in Hernando County, FL thought it was appropriate to give students an assignment where they would distinguish whether or not they were comfortable around Blacks, gays, and Arabs according to WBTV. The assignment, for a “Leader In Me” class, asked 6th graders to circle their comfort level when in certain situations….the “situations” were inclusive of the following: 1. Being approached by a “group of black men on the street” 2. Finding out the new church pastor is a woman 3. Sitting on the plane next to an “Arab” 4. A friend invites you to a gay bar Seriously…these were questions asked of 12-year-old children and of course, their parents were pretty pissed off! “‘How comfy are you if you see a group of black men walking to you on the street?’ That’s completely inappropriate. In no world, whatsoever, is that OK to question a child on,” said Jennifer Block, mother of a 12-year-old girl who was given the assignment. Not only were the parents disgusted, but the students themselves were upset and surprised that a teacher would give them this type of schoolwork… “I thought it was very inappropriate. I thought some of them were racist. I thought some of them were sexist. I thought it was completely intolerable,” said Tori Drews, a 6th grader. “There were children that were saying this is wrong. ‘Why are we doing this?’ ‘Does this have a reason?’ She was going yeah this is kind of wrong … maybe I should take it back,” Drews said. “Kids were asking if they could share it with their parents. She was like, ‘No. Don’t show your mom. Don’t take that home. I’m taking it back up,’.” Clearly, the teacher knew this ish was wrong if she told the kids that they couldn’t show their parents, SMH. It's been just about a month since Alec Baldwin came to Saturday Night Live to do his lovely Donald Trump impression. And, in case you missed it, a lot of things have happened with Trump in the past month. He bombed Syria, for one, but he also had that massive Trumpcare disaster. Throw in the constant rumors that Melania refuses to move to the White House with him and a bunch of general discontent … Things haven't been going too great for ol' Donnie. And so in this skit, Baldwin's Trump did just want the real Trump does — he met with his supporters so he can feel good about himself. Stopping at a little gathering down in Kentucky, Trump gave a short speech about all the “good” things he's been doing lately. “The media is saying nice things and no one is talking about Russia ,” he said. “Wow, what a difference just 59 Tomahawk missiles can make.” Yikes. Trump was asked questions about new jobs, healthcare, the federal rehab program, afterschool programs, and his answer to all the problems! To just get rid of all of it, of course! And through pain and anger and tears, the people still told him “You're my president!” “See, that's why I came here,” Trump said, “you people stand by me no matter what. Jenna Jameson just put her vagina to important use once again. But in a very different capacity than the way in which this ex-porn star did for so many years. Inappropriate references aside, the precious point is this: Jameson is a brand new mother! She just gave birth to a baby girl!!!!!! Already the other to twin eight-year old boys, Jameson and fiancé Lior Bitton confirmed their exciting news a few hours ago on Instagram. “Baby arrived momma did amazing job, everyone healthy and happy,” Bitton shared from the hospital on his social media account, adding: “God bless you @jennacantlose you are a warrior! I love you.” Jameson later shared the first photo of her daughter online, revealing her unique name in the process: Batel Lu Bitton. “I am so proud to introduce everyone to my newborn daughter! Her name is Batel Lu Bitton. She was born at 8lbs exactly and 21 inches long,” Jameson captioned the adorable image below. Added the famous blonde: “She is so calm and graceful it’s hard to look at her not feel overwhelmed. I had a very long labor (12 hours) and pushed for an intense 22 minutes. “We are head over heels in love with her welcome to the world little star, Mommy loves you.” Prior to giving birth, Jameson kept followers well apprised of her pregnancy, often flaunting her impressive baby bump as it grew over the weeks and months. “I thought my belly had leveled off last week… I was wrong,” she recently wrote online. “I’m 9 months pregnant, and feeling so blessed because this little one is thriving! “This time with my twins, I had already delivered, so it feels so good to keep this little star baking!!!!!” Back in August of last year, Jameson confirmed she was expecting her third child. Her cute twin boys are the product of her past relationship with MMA fighter Tito Ortiz. At this point in her life, the star is quite content with the family and friends she keeps close to her. Amy Schumer just can’t catch a break when it comes to strangers talking trash about her body. How sad is it that this is the world we live in? Amy is just out there, trying to live her life, trying to do what she loves, and trying to be proud of her body and the way she looks, and at every turn, somebody has something nasty to say . It’s ridiculous, it’s pitiful, and you know it’s happened again. See, Amy just did a lovely new cover for InStyle, you can see it above. She’s wearing a nice white swimsuit, and looking just delightful. InStyle shared the cover on their Instagram account, where a swimsuit designer named Dana Duggan took issue with it. “Come on now!” she wrote. “You could not find anyone better for this cover? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit.” … Sorry, what? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit? Only perfectly proportioned size 2 types are allowed to swim now, is that what she’s saying? Or do average-sized people like Amy have to swim in tents or something? When Dana was accused of fat-shaming Amy , she responded with “I am not fat shaming anyone. She is a self proclaimed Cabbage Patch Kid. She fat shames herself in her comedy routine.” Some ridiculous human being commented that putting “plus size models” on magazine covers “gives many women an excuse to continue an unhealthy lifestyle that will eventually lead to chronic disease in most cases.” And Dana replied with a nice “Thank you!”, because obviously Amy is on her way to becoming the next Mama June. “I an have my opinion and you can have yours,” she explained. “It’s called Freedom of Speech. I’m not judging. Just stating my opinion.” But she also said that her company doesn’t make “plus size swimsuits” like the kind Amy would apparently wear, and she added that Amy looks “like a pig,” so we’d say there’s a good chance she actually is judging. Dana even did a few interviews about her opinions, stating “I’m tired of the media and publications trying to push the FAT agenda. It’s not healthy and it’s not pretty.” “What is wrong with featuring healthy and fit cover models?” Gee, Dana, it’s hard to say. What is wrong with your disgusting attitude? Some questions we’ll just never know the answer to, it seems. While the vast majority of Instagram users took issue with Dana’s statements, it’s probably safe to say that Amy herself isn’t too bothered by it all. She said it best herself: “Is it fat-shaming if you know you’re not fat and have zero shame in your game ? I don’t think so.” “I am strong and proud of how I live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love,” she added. “Where’s the shame? Kendall Jenner, bless her heart … she tried with that Pepsi commercial, she really did. She tried to be inspirational and progressive, but it just didn’t work out for her. It worked out for literally no one. Well, except for the people who like to laugh at stupid things, those people are probably doing OK right now. Somehow, someway, Kendall agreed to do a Pepsi ad in which an ice cold can of soda could bring an end to years of conflict and strife, how she could rip off a wig, wipe off her lipstick, and save the world. With Pepsi. It sounds ridiculous, and that’s because it is, but still, it happened. And now Kendall seems to be full of regret and shame and all sorts of general sadness. She’s deleted all the tweets about the commercial, and she was photographed landing in Paris yesterday, trying to cover her face as much as possible. On top of that, a source spoke to People — a source close to Kendall, but who has not spoken with her since the Pepsi mess went down — about how she’s likely handling things. “Kendall would have been absolutely mortified ,” the source claims. “Anything offensive is just not her. She means well, always.” “She would have called Kris SO upset and freaking out. And then Kris would go into mom mode and approach it like ‘Let’s do something about this, NOW.'” It makes sense that she’d be mortified , right? It would actually be kind of shocking if she wasn’t. Kendall Jenner: SLAMMED For Tone Deaf Pepsi Commercial And it also makes sense that Kris Jenner would be absolutely livid by the whole debacle … and according to another report, she really, really is. According to an insider, Kris “thinks that Kendall is being made to look an idiot and is frightened that her daughter is getting blamed.” “Kendall was to make money every time the ad ran,” the source explained. “Now she will not and Kris is livid.” “Kris is also frightened other brands will not want to use Kendall now. This could cost her millions and maybe end her career.” She reportedly wants Pepsi to pay Kendall not only for the ad, but for “distress that she is suffering.” Look, Kendall is going to be OK. She’s going to get made fun of for a while, and deservedly so — she didn’t come up with the idea for the commercial, but she did go along with it. And it’s clear that Pepsi is concerned about their relationship with the Kardashian/Jenner clan. In the statement they made after pulling the ad , they specifically apologized to Kendall. Earlier today, we reported on one of the stranger Teen Mom social media controversies in recent memory. It all began when Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra began discussing their desire to have a third child on Twitter. It’s anyone’s guess as to why a married couple would need to have such a conversation on social media rather than, ya know, face-to-face, but while the parental figures of the Teen Mom franchise love ’em some free publicity, we doubt the Baltierras expected this : Things started out innocently enough, with Catelynn tweeting: “Wahhh I’m ready for another baby @TylerBaltierra.” Tyler (or T-Balz, as we like to call him) wrote back, “Me too babe.” That’s when Catelynn made the (arguably unfortunate) decision to tweet the following photo: She captioned the image: “Proud to announce a new baby Baltierra @tylerbaltierramtv.” Clearly it was a joke, but if you’ve looked at a calendar recently, you know that it’s 2017, and 2017 is the year in which everyone gets pissed off about everything. A number of fans didn’t think the joke was funny for a number of reasons. Some thought Lowell was really pregnant and … felt let down, we guess? Others thought the joke was insensitive to those who struggled with infertility. Still others blamed Tyler and Catelynn for that Kendall Jenner Pepsi commercial . Okay, we’re joking about that last part, but in all seriousness, a good number of fans were legitimately outraged, and Tyler responded by basically informing them that he’d run out of f–ks to give long, long ago: “Apparently the world can’t take jokes anymore…don’t worry #TeenMomOG will be back on the air soon so we can disappoint you some more,” Tyler tweeted. “I actually love all of those critics. The fake profile pics & repetitive insults based on the lack of creativity…they just crack me up.” Asked if he could see how some might have thought the joke was insensitive, Tyler responded: “Yes, I’m the lowest piece of s–t, insensitive, entitled, asshole & a sorry excuse of a human being & I shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.” Man, when that guy does sarcasm, he does sarcasm . For her part, Catelynn responded in a very different and much, much more confusing way: “Why don’t u just go back to ur real family?” she tweeted. “Not like we have mattered anyways.. to u it’s just the thought that mattered” Uh … we really have no idea as to what that might mean. We’re thinking Catelynn meant to subtweet someone, but instead she just tossed that bad boy out there with no context. Of course, we think it’s safe to say she wasn’t in a great mood when she wrote it, so you can be sure it will lead to more rumors about Catelynn and Tyler getting divorced . Alec Baldwin has a new memoir out, and like most things the sometimes-beloved actor is involved with, the release has not been without its share of controversy. Yes, Baldwin opens up on his feud with Trump . (He even admits they have some things in common!) And yes, he apologizes for being verbally abusive to Ireland Baldwin when she was a child (still hates her mom, though). But Baldwin likely penned those parts of his memoir knowing they would spark some conversations that would hopefully lead to a boost in sales. What he probably didn’t anticipate, however, is the brewing scandal surrounding the portion of the book that concerns a racy scene he shot with Nikki Reed in 2006 … when the actress was just 16 years old. Writing about his experiences shooting the indie film Mini’s First Time, Baldwin had this to say: “I was 47, and it never occurred to me to ask how old Nikki Reed was.” “When I found out, just as we finished, that she was 17, I flipped out on the producers, who had told me something different.” Now, Dana Brunetti, a producer on the film, is claiming Baldwin is doubly full of it: Brunetti says not only was Reed only 16 (not 17, as Baldwin claims), but that Baldwin was fully informed of her age before the scene was shot. “My first indie film was Mini’s starring @AlecBaldwin who knew @NikkiReed_I_Am was 16 (not 17) and he didn’t mind,” Brunetti tweeted last night. “In fact (Reed) was one of four actresses (Baldwin) had approved and her being the only one of those four repped by his own agency CAA.” Brunetti went into greater detail in an interview with The Hollywood Reporte r today, even going so far as to hit Baldwin with a Trump-related burn: “It’s a lie,” Brunetti tells the magazine. “I read it and was like, ‘What the f—. Of course he totally knew how old she was.” Brunetti added: “He knew before we even cast the movie. I think he’s been method acting Trump too much and he doesn’t know the difference between fake news anymore.” Fellow producer Ethan Astrowski backed up Brunetti’s version of events, stating: “What Alec says happened is not accurate. I completely corroborate that. We were on set every day.” The scene was perfectly legal due to the fact that Reed remained at least partially clothed, but lying about it is still not a good luck for Baldwin. And he was having such a great, relatively scandal-free year, too! Oh, well. There’s always 2018!
It really, truly, completely, 100% may be over for Kylie Jenner and Tyga. We know: you’ve heard this before. Heck, you heard confirmation of Kylie and Tyga’s break-up mere hours ago on The Hollywood Gossip. So, what makes this latest rumor worth repeating? Why does it seem so certain that the rapper and the professional Instagram model have split for good this time around? Because they are no longer living together, an insider tells Us Weekly. “Tyga moved out,” a source tells the tabloid in its latest issue, although this same anonymous mole is quick to somehow add: “They’re not broken up. They’re just not spending as much time together.” LOL. And may we also add: LOLOLOLOL! It is true that couples who share a residence sometimes think the relationship has grown too suffocating and try to live apart while remaining committed to each other. But it’s also true that this romance ends up lasting exactly zero percent of the time. So, assuming Kylie and Tyga have split… or are about to split… or are simply having major issues these days, what is at the root of their discord? Surprisingly to some, the Us Weekly source cites Keeping Up with the Kardashians as the basis for tension between Kylie and her older man. “Tyga feels he’s been belittled on the show,” the magazine writes. Interesting, right? Maybe the twosome are just waiting for Keeping Up with the Kardashians to get canceled in the near future before they resume their full courtship. Ratings have been plunging for Season 13, despite the series having a major topic to focus on in Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery. Might the public finally be sick and tired of this family in general? It’s taken long enough, right? Still, you never know when it comes to Jenner and Tyga. “Tyga does really make Kylie happy, and when they break up it makes Kylie super sad,” the insider tells Us Weekly. “He’s her first big love and they still speak every day.” In a separate interview earlier this month, a different friend acknowledged that trouble exists in this famous paradise. But he or she didn’t think it meant much in the big picture for these stars. “They tend to take little breaks all the time and then get back together,” the pal explained.
