Does Kelly Clarkson Deserve A Ho Sit Down For Shading Miguel At The Grammy’s?

Ignorance, or pure ignorance? After Kelly Clarkson let the world know she had no idea who Miguel was but truly enjoyed his performance, Twitter went crazy with all the ways she was being a big ol’ beyotch with her comment! After all, his song “Adorn” is one of the most played songs of the year and he’s on the same label as her. Via CBS reports : While accepting the award on Sunday night for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Stronger,” Clarkson said, “Miguel, I don’t know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together. I mean, good God. That was the sexiest damn thing I’ve ever seen.” Shortly afterward her Grammy acceptance speech, Clarkson met Miguel for the first time backstage and posted their photo, along with the tweet “Miguel!”: Clarkson’s acceptance speech caught the attention of fellow music artists, including Pink, who tweeted: “Congrats to Kelly Clarkson for the award and that love able speech. You made me laugh. Can’t wait to hear that song with Miguel. Xo” Miguel released his sophomore album, “Kaleidoscope Dream,” in September 2012 and not only did it debut at No. 3, but it also secured a spot in New York magazine’s Top 10 album list of 2012, and Spin put it at No. 5 of its 50 best albums of the year. Idolator named it the best set of 2012. His track, “Adorn,” scored the best R&B song at this year’s Grammys. We gotta ask — unintentionally or not — did Kelly Clarkson shade Miguel? Does she need to have a seat?

Rihanna and Chris Brown Cozy Up at Grammys, Blow Up Twitter, Polarize Fans

Chris Brown and Rihanna didn’t perform together at the 2013 Grammys last night. Nor did they walk the red carpet as a couple, each arriving separately. Yet the R&B stars may have been the night’s top story. The singers spent the entire night cozying up to each other in the audience, as CBS cameras frequently went to the controversial couple for reaction shots. It was a very public display of affection and a signal to the world that Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together, no matter what you might think of it. As expected, viewer reactions were mixed, and heated. On the eve of the ’09 Grammys, Brown shocked the industry and world when he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna, whose bruised face became a tabloid fixture. Four years is a long time, but it was still amazing to see Rihanna, decked out in a red dress and smiling ear to ear, photographed leaning her head on Brown. All night long. Think she’s trying to make a point or something? This actually wasn’t their most shocking appearance in tandem this month. Rihanna stuck by her man and showed up in court with him last week. Brown is accused of violating his probation by submitting false community service records … in connection with his sentence for assaulting Rihanna. Yet there she was in court, by his side. In a recent interview, Rihanna said dating Brown makes her happy and “if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake .” Think we’re getting the picture, even if it’s a very polarizing one. What do you think of Rihanna and Chris back together?   Good for them! Love Rihanna and Chris together! I’m skeptical, but it’s their decision. Pathetic and just wrong! View Poll »

Adele’s Dad: I’m Dead to Her!

Mark Evans, Adele’s father, admits he hasn’t always been a great dad, however he still wants to reconnect with the singer and meet his grandchild. The feeling is not mutual, apparently. Mark Evans told the Daily Mail he desperately wants to rekindle his relationship with the “Someone Like You” songbird, but that he’s the only one. “I’ve left messages on her phone, I’ve written to her and I’ve sent her birthday and Christmas cards,” Evans said. “But it’s like I’m dead to her.” “I’m not interested in her celebrity status or her money,” he added. “I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper granddad to the little one.” He means Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki ‘s 3-month-old son, whose name is unknown (she was spotted wearing a necklace that says “Angelo”.) British celebrity gossip tabloids have reported Angelo James Konecki is the child’s full name, although Adele has yet to publicly confirm any of this. Her estranged father is NOT pleased with the name, if that’s it. “I’d hoped so much that she would put my late dad’s name, John, in there somewhere, but alas it looks as if it is not going to be,” Evans said, sadly. “I’m not sure why she’s chosen James, other than a reference to James Bond, and God alone knows where Angelo has come from. It’s very L.A., isn’t it?” Evans laments “missing out on so many of the joys of being a grandfather, simple pleasures like taking him out for a walk in his buggy” and the like. As Evans says he misses his daughter, he won’t be watching her performance of “Skyfall” at the Oscars, though “I know she’ll win [for best song],” he assures. “But I won’t even watch … it would upset me too much to know that I was watching something that my dad never got to see. I’d break down and fall apart.”

Kelly Clarkson: Photobombed by Bill Clinton!

Simply put, Kelly Clarkson owned today’s Presidential Inauguration. The former American Idol champion impressed anyone with a pulse via her rendition of ” My Country Tis of Thee ” and, at one point during her performance, was photobombed by Bill Clinton. No… really! See for yourself: Granted, the ex-President might not really be going for a photobomb here. But can we all pretend like he is? Elsewhere, Clarkson caught up with fellow Inauguration performer Beyonce backstage, catching the moment on Twitter and writing as a caption: “Me and B just hangin’ out. Don’t worry about it. Seriously, God did good. She is so beautiful!”

Mother Pus Bucket! Michael Cera’s Not Sure He’d Take A ‘Ghostbusters 3’ Gig

Who you gonna call to cast Ghostbusters 3 — if it ever gets made, that is?  Don’t count on Michael Cera . I got a brief moment to talk to the actor at the Sundance Film Festival on Thursday where his latest movie, Sebastián Silva’s  Crystal Fairy  helped kick off the festival, and I took the opportunity to ask him if he’d been approached at all about the much-discussed Ghostbusters 3 film that co-creators Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis want to start shooting this year  . “I haven’t been approached,” said Cera, who expressed some doubt that the picture was happening. When I then asked if he would be interested in appearing in Ghostbusters 3 if the stars — and a good script — aligned, he replied: “That would be a tough one. The first movie meant so much to me. It could be dangerous.” Smart kid. Cera loves the original Ghostbusters so much that he doesn’t want to appear in anything that’s not going to honor it. And yet, I was surprised by the answer. Aykroyd and Ramis have both said that the plot of Ghostbusters 3 will involve the original crew handing off their Proton packs to a new generation, and Cera’s well-known GB love and his deadpan style make him an ideal candidate. In a poll Movieline conducted last fall, Cera was readers number-two choice, behind Seth Rogen , to be part of the new Ghostbusters team. I didn’t get much of a chance to talk to the actor because he was swarmed by Sundancers congratulating him for his performance in the completely improvised  Crystal Fairy. Cera plays an obnoxiously self-absorbed American who undergoes an emotional transformation when he invites a free-spirited but damaged woman who calls herself Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffmann)  to accompany him and his Chilean friends on a road trip to do Mescaline. Both Cera and Hoffmann ( You Can Count on Me ) give intense, layered and remarkably ego-free performances in this dark comedy that comes with a real emotional punch at the end. (Silva has two movies with Cera in them at the festival. The other is Magic Magic  with Juno Temple.)   Hoffmann’s being doing exceptional work for years, but her portrayal of the New Agey Crystal Fairy should put her in line for some real marquee roles based on effusive audience reaction Thursday night.  Twice during the film, she gets completely and unabashedly naked, which inspired one woman in the audience to yell out “Free style!” in reference to the actress’s unruly, character-appropriate pubic hair. After the screening, Silva said that his scriptless movie, which was shot in 12 days, is about “the birth of compassion in someone’s life” and is based on an actual encounter he years ago with a woman who actually called herself Crystal Fairy.  “I hope she finds out,” said Silva, who’d like to get back in touch with his muse. Naomi Watts Is Easy On The Eyes

I haven’t seen her new movie, but I know Naomi Watts has been attracting a lot of attention for her performance. Which means we’ll probably be seeing a lot more of her in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed that also means more of her sideboob. We’re so close. Hopefully she’s just saving her A game for the Academy Awards. But if Oscar voters are anything like me, I’m sure a well-placed wardrobe malfunction could lock this thing up. Everybody knows these award shows are all politics. » view all 33 photos Related Articles: Naomi Watts Classy Swimsuit Pictures Lucy Pinder Supplies Her Big Breasts To Celebrity Big Brother Lucy Pinder’s Breasts Go A Long Long Way Lucy Pinder Nude In Nuts Photos: WENN.com
