Wow, after checking out these pictures of Beyonce in GQ , I’m pretty sure we missed a serious contender for MILF of the Year. Where was this all of 2012? Anyway, I don’t really get the point of the football helmet or poses, but I’d sure love to play a little two-hand touch with Beyonce. And since I’m pretty sure Jay-Z could buy this site 10 times over and turn it into a blog about adult diapers, by two-hand touch, I mean play patty-cake with Beyonce and their wonderful kid. Obviously. Related Articles: Beyonce’s Armpits Need A Shave Beyonce Knowles’ Unitard Gets A Workout Beyonce’s “Groundbreaking” Performance Beyonce Flashes Her Curves
My name is Anaïs. My Bieber Experience happened on November 26 th 2012 in Montreal, Canada. It all started when Justin announced his tour dates. I was so excited, maybe he would come to my city aka Narnia. I was checking the date list and that’s when I saw ‘Montreal – Bell Center.’ I started freaking out. “YESSS OMG THERE’S MY CHANCE TO MEET JUSTIN.” But then I saw the date was November 26 th 2012. So here’s my story: my dad had a daughter with another woman before he had me with my mom. His daughter’s name was Laurence but she died in a car accident a few years before I was born (I didn’t have the chance to meet her but I still went to the cemetery every year with my dad) After that, my dad and Laurence’s mom had another child (he’s my brother) but I rarely see him because he lives with his mom. My dad and his mom split up 3 months after he was born. Everybody thinks I’m an only child but I’m not. 2 years later my dad met my mom and they had me, yay. But I was born with a kidney tumor. Miraculously it disappeared with almost no treatment. There are people who call that a medical miracle but I think it’s my sister who protects me in heaven. My parents split up when I was 5 years old and my mom didn’t have anywhere to go so I went to live with her at her friend’s house (@loribarakat’s mom) All my life I always felt so lonely. Even my own brother abandoned me, he never calls me or wishes me happy birthday. I was 10 years old when I got hospitalized because I was sad and lonely. Doctors have referred me to a psychologist until the age of 12. I still feel the same today because I know that my sister and brother are not going to come back. I used to wish that my parents would get back together just before blowing my birthday candles. My mom started dating another man and that’s when I knew my wish wouldn’t come true. I was 12 years old when I saw Justin’s cover of ‘With You’ and I immediately fell in love with him. I’ve been supporting Justin ever since that day and I promise that I’ll be here until the end. So on May 23 rd I bought my VIP meet and greet tickets. I was so happy. I cried for 5 hours straight. I t was the best thing that ever happened to me. People are so quick to judge when I say I support Justin Bieber, but what they don’t understand is, when I hear his voice, all the bad thoughts I have disappear. His music is the only thing in this world that actually works to make me feel less lonely and a lot happier. I also met lots of awesome people because of him who have become really good friends. Plus, Justin’s music has helped me get through lots of things, that’s why I wanted to meet him so bad. I just love him so much. The day I met Justin was simply the most beautiful day of my life. Being able to talk to him in person was unreal. For once, I can say that I had a real smile on my face. All day I felt like I was in a movie. I saw Kenny (he gave me a high five), Dan, Fredo, Jazzy, Jaxon, his dad Jeremy, Pattie, and even his grandparents. I was in second row and I couldn’t ask for more. I am so grateful for all that. Justin changed my life and I know it’s for the best. Dreams do come true. I never thought that one day I would be writing My Bieber Experience, but Never Say Never, right? Today I’m 16 years old, I’m proud to be a belieber and I’m proud to say I met my idol on November 26 th . The exact same day my sister passed away a few years ago. Read more: My name is Anaïs. Taylor Swift capped an incredible 2012 with a rockin performance in Times Square last night, belting out favorites “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” in front of New Year’s Eve revelers. And how did the singer celebrate at midnight? With a kiss for boyfriend Harry Styles ! Taylor Swift New Year’s Eve Performance Swift was named a THG Celebrity of the Year for her professional success and personal endeavors – and we have a strong feeling she’ll make the list again in 2013. Why? She’s awesome. And 13 is her lucky number!
Oops , he did it again, folks. Justin Bieber performed last night in Times Square, taking the famous New Year’s Eve stage and revealing his slick six-pack for the world to see. Yes, it was another Justin Bieber shirtless show for fans, as the artist belted out a version of “As Long As You Love Me” (with Big Sean) and also went acoustic for “Boyfriend.” Watch both now: Justin Bieber New Year’s Eve Performance (Ft. Big Sean) Justin Bieber – “Boyfriend” (Acoustic) Among other New Year’s Eve highlights: Hammer and Psy went Gangnam Style . Taylor Swift performed a pair of hits from her new album. HAPPY NEW YEAR, THGers!
We’re inching ever closer to the end of 2012, and THG’s Celebrity of the Year. With the calendar about to flip to 2013, we’re looking back at the stars who made this year so memorable via their songs, sex tapes, naked photos, and/or arrests. Justin Bieber kicked off our top five, followed by Kate Middleton in the #4 spot and Taylor Swift at #3. Today, we present our Celebrity of the Year runner-up: Rihanna! The year will go down as another huge one for Rih musically, with the prolific singer’s albums Talk That Talk and Unapologetic both dominating the charts. That’s just part of the reason she ever-present here on THG, though. She’s young, talented, uninhibited and unafraid to push the envelope, despite being a global superstar. The last 12 months proved this like never before. Rihanna got new tattoos. She got drunk, and she got high. She got pissed at reporters. She got emotional on Oprah. She got back with Chris Brown. She posted a TON of photos on Twitter and Instagram of herself getting tattoos, getting drunk, getting high and yes, getting back with Chris Brown. This is a girl that knows the way the celebrity gossip fame game is played. She gives the fans what they want, and she gets the publicity she needs. It was getting back with Chris, who infamously beat her in 2009, that was her most controversial move of the year, though. Rihanna nude photos ? Ho hum. Many fans were unhappy. All of them were surprised. But you have to give Rih credit, even if you think she’s a fool, because she lives life on her own terms. If she wants to date her ex – or party with strippers to the point where she’s hospitalized and on IVs the next day – that’s what she’s gonna do. Period. Number of f%*ks given? Zero. Number of Rihanna hit songs? Dozens. Number of Instagram pics posted for the sole purpose of keeping us talking? Hundreds. Well played, Rih. So very well played. So here’s looking forward to the 24-year-old’s next single and, hopefully, to an even more outrageous, topless 2013. Enjoy many more memorable images of the star from 2012 below: Rihanna Ft. I just finished reading Brett Martin’s profile of Bill Murray for the January issue of GQ , and while the story and Murray are highly entertaining, I’m tiring of reading profiles in which Murray simultaneously demonstrates how funny and how aimless he is. Martin observes that Murray has become a kind of “wandering, perpetual performance artist, everywhere and nowhere, wherever the wind or spirit carries him: indie movies, golf tournaments, college frat parties, your karaoke booth right now.” I appreciate that Murray likes being the Johnny Appleseed of meta-comedy, but I think it’s time for him to stop spreading joy to a handful of people at a time and get back to making thousands of people in cineplexes across the country aspirate Diet Coke because they’re laughing so hard. Here’s the passage in the story that most makes me want to chuck my vintage Ghostbusters wallet in the East River. It’s Murray talking about how he’s thinking about writing and making a funny movie again:
Alright, where do I begin? November 25th 2012 was a VERY interesting day. With all the Grey Cup festivities going on it got very crazy, but any fan of Justin’s was either at the Rogers Centre for his halftime show performance OR at his hotel trying to meet him . For my friends and I we decided to head to his hotel. We got there around 10 a.m. and there was already quite a few people there from the day before where they had no luck at all. The weather was a tad bit cold but wasn’t bad where you had to leave. During the day his grandparents came out, said hi to us all and took pictures with fans. Justin’s little sister Jazzy sister kept walked to the bus and back and his little bro came to the door and waved to everyone . Dan, Alfredo and Scrappy came out and took a few photos before they went off to do their own thing, yet still no sight of Justin until 7 p.m. when he was leaving to go to the Grey Cup. He just walked by the door and waved . To say the least, a lot of us were upset but on the other hand it was a gamble to wait, so we left to get something to eat, watch his performance, and after he was done we decided to go back and see if he would return. There was about 10 of us waiting (but seemed like a lot more at the time). 15 minutes later Dan and Alfredo returned but no sign of Justin until I poked my head around again to make sure and at the same time, Justin was looking too and called us over for photos! It was a VERY quick process but he didn’t even have to take pictures. For myself, this is huge thing, I’ll admit it, I wasn’t a fan of him during “My World,” I actually started being a fan after seeing him perform at the 2010 MMVAS and also hearing his song “Never Let You Go.” It took me awhile to actually tell people I’m a fan; well cause I’m a 21 year old guy but the friends I’ve made because of it is amazing. So here’s what I say to anyone reading this who hasn’t met him yet, your time will come, and when it does the feelings you will have will be indescribable! -@Cody_Reid Read the original here: Alright, where do I begin? I’d NEVER think I would see/meet Justin in person. I’m beyond thankful and happy. Justin made this experience amazing. Back in May I got a letter from my dad saying I was meeting Justin and sitting front row at the concert on November 26th 2012. I counted down the days from 185 to the day of the meet and greet and concert. I flew up to Montreal on Sunday (November 25) and Justin didn’t arrive to Montreal until early Monday morning. So Monday rolls along and I was VERY happy. I got up at 3 a.m. Montreal time, I was to exticed. Around 7 a.m. I went to go and get breakfast and then went shopping. After that we came back to get ready. I had to be at the Bell Center for 3:30 p.m. I got my lanyard and tickets. The security guard was telling us what not to do and stuff so I was really excited and nervous at the same time. He brought us down to the basement to where the meet and greet was being held and my heart was beating so fast. I got to the line and I was first. I could see the curtain where Justin was in. We were waiting and waiting. It wasn’t until 5 that I got to meet him. I got to stand at the beginning of the curtain and I saw Jazzy and Jaxon, Jeremy & Erin. I waved to Jazzy. Kenny pulled over the curtain and I look to my left to see the photographer and Alfredo. Then I look to my right to see Justin looking flawless as ever. He said, “Hi sweetie!” and then we got our picture. The last words I could get out were, “Can I have a hug?” and he gave me one. But the security guard quickly took me away from Justin . As soon as I walked out of the meet and greet I bawled. I legit bawled for about 15-20 minutes straight because I couldn’t believe I met Justin Drew Bieber. I came out and people were stopping me and asking me how it was and what did he smell like. Then it was time for the concert. The Wanted were amazing! I saw Bruce and Diane over in the side of the stage area and Bruce waved at me. When the countdown came one I started freaking out. The whole concert was amazing and when I looked over, Pattie was there. She waved at me. During the concert Justin pointed at me. I must say that I’m beyond thankful for this experience and I couldn’t be any happier. -@ShoutForBiebz Continued here: I’d NEVER think I would see/meet Justin in person. I’m…
Money for Hurricane Sandy relief was not the only thing raised in Madison Square Garden last night. So were many eyebrows in response to Kanye West’s attire. Despite performances by The Rolling Stones ; Roger Waters and Eddie Vedder ; Bon Jovi and many others, the rapper was the talk of Twitter not long after his performance. But not for anything he said or sang. For the leather skirt he wore: The outfit has already inspired a Twitter account (@KanyesSkirt), as well as questions over whether West raided the wardrobe of Kim Kardashian . What do you think of the attire on Kanye? So hot! So very not! View Poll »
In the event you were under a rock, there was a Hurrican Sandy concert to raise money for the 200 dead and destruction caused by the Hurricane, that featured every top British act from the 60s- Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, Pink Floydd, Led Zepplin I don’t fucking know the line up…I just know some celebs were manning the phones, and I called a dozen times, not to donate but for phone sex, and didn’t get one…. The biggest news, was that Paul McCartney was going to play Kurt Cobain in a Nirvana reunion….andI don’t really care who plays Kurt Cobain, I just woulda rather seen Courtney Love shitting on stage like she was G.G. Allin, you know cuz the guilt of having Kurt Cobain killed for her own career has driven her to rock fucking bottom….and rock fucking bottom is more fun to watch than a 70 year old music legend singing 90s grunge…but I guess it’s kinda cool…even if I was only into one Nirvana song and that was because it was a Leadbelly song…and slave music from the 30s speaks to me more than teen angst from Seattle in the early 90s…but anyway you look at it, this performance ooozes talent…here’s the video.
