Wiz Khalifa Declines Drake’s Offer To Join Tour

The Pittsburgh MC tells XXL he’s flattered but has to ‘keep focusing’ on his own work. By Mawuse Ziegbe Wiz Khalifa Photo: Rostrum Records It looks like fans will have to wait to catch Drake and Wiz Khalifa on the same bill. In a much-watched Ustream convo with fans on Thursday, Drizzy extended an invitation to Khalifa to join his upcoming Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour . However, the Pittsburgh MC said he won’t be added to the Nightmares lineup, which also features Clipse and Bun B, and has decided to focus on his own Waken Baken string of dates. “No disrespect to [Drake] or anybody else who might wanna see me do some more collaborative things, but to keep building and keep my brand as strong as what it is, I gotta keep focusing on what it is,” Khalifa told XXLmag.com on Friday (August 20). “This is my first tour that I got coming up, the Waken Baken Tour. I gotta at least kick that off and make that what it is so we can do 10 more.” The Kush & OJ MC clarified that although he’ll be working the performance circuit solo, it’s all love when it comes to Drake. Khalifa confided that Drizzy’s offer proves he’s on the right track. “Just the fact of cuz even extending his hand and me being on his radar is tight to me. It just lets me know that I’m doing what I need to be doing as far as staying relevant and staying poppin’,” Khalifa said. “But I think to keep me poppin’ and keep me relevant I gotta stay building on top of what I’m doing and what I been doing.” Khalifa also added that he needs to stay on his grind until he can stack paper like Drizzy. “I was looking on the Internet and [saw] that [Drake] made $10 million this year,” Khalifa said. “So maybe when I make $10 million, then we can tour.” The MC added that while he won’t be an official Nightmares act, he may make a special appearance in certain cities. “We can do like some special dates or some surprise guest-type thing, but I need 10 mil too, Drake,” Khalifa said, ribbing the Toronto lyricist. Shauna Sand’s Dirty Trash Can Ass Still In Her Bikini of the Day

The one constant in my life is that Shauna Sand bikini pictures will one surface at least once a month. I wonder if Shauna Sand dates all these pretty-boy gay looking male prostitutes because they prostitutes and will escort anyone who pays them enough, because there’s no reason other than money that anyone, gay or straight would have sex with her, especially after the release of her Shauna Sand Exposed Sex Tape where her performance was lazy at best, maybe because her plastic surgery makes it hard for her to move, or maybe her anorexia makes it hard for her to muster up the energy, or maybe she figures she’s paying a motherfucker, she might as well lay there and enjoy it…and luckily for them her hard face and pussy that looks like the “after” pictures of a testicular cancer patient, something they can relate to, cuz at least it looks like it once had testicles in it, but more importantly she probably just lets the fuck her up her dirty ass to pretend she’s a dude to get through it…I just know it should be featured on the next season of Dirty Jobs….but I guess none of that matters, cuz she’s clearly a very good family woman, who takes her kids out on her really creepy sexual escapades with young men, but makes time for them to watch her hump the motherfucker in the water….a winning formula for a successful upbringing… Here she is at a costume change….

Performing Animals Mistreated in China, Reports Animals Asia, an Animal Rights Campaign Group | Photos | Video

PLEASE be sure to look at the four photos, and when you get to the fourth photo, just imagine if that were you… or a child of yours… http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/asiapcf/08/12/china.performing.animals/index.html?… Performing animals mistreated in China, says report August 15, 2010 11:21 p.m. EDT (CNN) — Bears riding motorcycles, tigers jumping through flaming hoops and pigs leaping off diving boards. Just some of the “entertainment” that can be seen at circuses, zoos and safari parks in China, according to a report by Animals Asia into animals cruelty. The Hong Kong-based animal rights campaign group visited 13 safari parks and zoos in China and according to David Neale, Animals Asia's Animal Welfare Director, found that the animal shows “portray the animal to the public in a humiliating way” and have no educational value. “There is a misunderstanding really within China at the moment about what these animals are experiencing,” Neale told CNN. The report says that many of the performance animals that include tigers, lions, Asiatic black bears, elephants and monkeys are born and bred in captivity and brutalized throughout their lives. Video: Cruelty to performing animals “These animals have been suffering from birth, really. Once they're born they go into this industry. And straight away the trainers are starting to brutalize them to make them to do these tricks…. We saw some of the training of the younger animals; they were continually hit to make sure they learnt these tricks so that when they're out in the performance ring they perform them to the best standard.” “Once the trick is finished they then go to the backstage area where they're housed in the most shocking conditions. All kinds of animals are held in cages full of faeces, with very little access to water, very little access to food.” The abuse of performing animals isn't specific to China. “Animal cruelty is happening in every country across the world,” said Neale. However Neale points out that in China there are currently no animal protection laws, a reason why Animals Asia have worked with Chinese academics to draft legislation not just for animals in captivity, but all animals. Despite the findings of their investigation, Neale is encouraged by a few signs of progress by the Chinese government to take animal protection seriously. According to a government report on July 29 the Chinese State Forestry Administration accused companies that have animal performance shows of having excessive focus on profits, leading to the mistreatment and death of the animals. “We're very pleased that the Chinese government has said that they want the zoos and safari parks to look at the conditions they keep their animals in to rectify these problems,” said Neale. added by: EthicalVegan

Fabolous Says He’s ‘Good’ After Having Tour Van Stolen

‘It was stripped down like a Magic City dancer,’ Fab tells MTV News of recovering the car in Washington, D.C. By Shaheem Reid Fabolous Photo: MTV News Some fun-loving criminals made traveling arrangements for some of Fabolous’ entourage a little more difficult this past weekend in Washington, D.C. The Brooklyn MC had a show in the area, and after his performance he discovered his crew’s transportation had been tampered with. “That was one of the few things on the Internet that was true,” Fab confirmed to MTV News on Thursday in the Bronx. “I had shows in D.C. this weekend. One of the turtle-top vans wound up getting stolen,” he continued. “I don’t know how, even the police were mind-boggled by it because it was parked right next to the Secret Service building. They found it though. It was stripped down like a Magic City dancer. It happens. I didn’t know people really go hard and steal cars like that. I think I tweeted , like, ‘Yo, do people really still steal cars?’ I thought that was something that kinda like fell off. What are you gonna do with a car after you steal it? Joyride? But I guess you can get some parts. But a turtle-top? You’re taking a big-ass van. Hopefully, it helped somebody out in their time of need. “I was good,” Fab laughed, correcting the record about his personal mode of transportation. “Let’s not get that mistaken. I had another ride. But my boys, they were in a little jam. We figured it out, made a police report. I thought it got towed at first. But we figured it out, made a police report, came back to New York. I don’t fault D.C. for it. Your van can get stolen anywhere I guess. I always have fun in D.C. [though]. D.C. shows me a lot of love.” Fabolous’ next project is The Grieving Music, an EP inspired by his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape There Is No Competition 2: The Funeral Service. The EP is due September 6. Jennifer Lawrence Bummed About Beaver

“Mel Gibson is unbelievable in [ The Beaver ],” his costar Jennifer Lawrence excitedly told W in June, before the actor’s life underwent a bit of upheaval. “At the first table read of the script, I thought, He’s going to win an Oscar.” The magazine checked back with her post-Oksana, when the speechless Lawrence kept shaking her head in disbelief. “It’s tragic,” she said. “No one will be able to see his performance in The Beaver clearly now. Even if Mel Gibson is great in the movie, I’m afraid no one will go.” [ W ]

John Legend, The Roots Wake Up Audiences On ‘Good Morning America’

Legend, ?uestlove and company played songs from their upcoming Wake Up! album on ‘GMA’s Summer Concert Series.’ By Christopher MacAllister John Legend performs on “Good Morning America” in New York City on August 6 Photo: Bryan Bedder/ Getty Images NEW YORK — After what was described as “one of the greatest sound checks ever,” John Legend and the Roots were set to entertain audiences for “Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series” at Central Park’s SummerStage. Before the cameras were even rolling, the music group entertained the waiting audience with Legend singing a “Good Morning” melody. When “GMA” hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos arrived onstage to greet Legend and the band, Roberts commented on the intimacy of the performance, saying, “Everyone thought you were singing just for them!” Before the official beginning of the set, the audience enjoyed snapping photos of Legend and the Roots, and vice versa, with Legend taking pictures of the audience on his phone. The next song, “Little Ghetto Boy,” from their forthcoming album Wake Up! got the audience going, with the Roots’ Black Thought (Tariq Trotter) busting some mad rhymes and Legend singing the chorus before delving into the next verse. Legend then announced the release date for Wake Up!: September 21. Good times were had with their performance of another fast-paced, jazzy song, “Hard Times,” also from Wake Up! The SummerStage audience continued to grow as the song played, with more and more people arriving to witness the performance. During the typical wait for the next on-air song performance, ?uestlove and Legend were joking around, laughing while having a look at the cover of their new album. When asked about it, Legend said, “It’s funny seeing yourself as a cartoon!” He added that this album has been two years in the making, and ?uestlove said that “people will get uplifted by it.” The uplifting had already begun with the announcement of the next, more recognizable song, “Ordinary People,” which was definitely a fan favorite. The audience sang along and swayed with the music. After spirited audience applause, Legend performed “Waiting for Superman,” which the singer explained he’d written for the movie of the same name, due out this fall. He played an instrumental riff with the Roots until we were on air again, and then the song “Shine” began. After the epic finale, Legend took a bow with a nice “God bless ya’ll” for the audience. And it wouldn’t be a Roots concert without ?uestlove throwing his drumsticks into the crowd as souvenirs. One enthusiastic audience member summed it up nicely: “There is no better combination for a live show than the Roots and John Legend!” Related Photos John Legend And The Roots Shine On ‘Good Morning America’ Related Artists John Legend The Roots
