Which Lady Looked Best At The VMA After-Parties? [PHOTOS]

The rest is here:

The 2011 MTV VMAs may have ended once Lil’ Wayne hit the stage, but the party kept going long after the cameras shut off. Lots of celeb ladies hit other red carpets before entering into after-parties including Lil Wayne’s album release, the 2011 Rising Icons dinner, and the 4th Annual ‘House of Hype’ shindig. Kelly wore too much make-up and Ciara dressed too casually, but Christina Milian and Keri Hilson pulled off classier looks. Which lady do you think looked best? The Hunger Games Trailer: Show Them, Katniss!

Show them how strong you are, Katniss. They just want a good show. At last night’s MTV Video Music Awards – once almost all the hardware was handed out, the performances complete, the announcements made and the smooches delivered – Jennifer Lawrence popped up on screen and introduced the first official trailer for The Hunger Games . It features Lawrence’s Katniss wandering through the arena, with a voice (Peeta’s, right?) imparting wisdom to this character via narration. It then concludes with Katniss pulled out an arrow and lighting the Mockingjay pin on fire… The Hunger Games Movie Trailer The Hunger Games comes out on March 23.

My name is Justin Mark Marcos from Manila, Philippines & I…

My name is Justin Mark Marcos from Manila, Philippines & I am a 19 year college student. I became a fan of Justin when I first heard his single One Less Lonely Girl on the radio. I find his voice cute and everything. Little did I know that there is so much more to this guy than just his cute voice and bubblegum songs. I browsed Youtube and found a lot of his videos, I found it entertaining and I found out that we have so much in common. We’re both left-handed, we love to prank, we love music (but in my case music doesn’t love me back) well, need not to elaborate more about that but yeah, he’s amazing! It may sound awkward to say that cause I’m a guy, but hey, when you adore someone that doesn’t mean he/she should be in opposite sex right?  I’m a Boy Belieber and am proud of that. Meeting Justin Bieber is a once in a lifetime experience, especially for us Filipinos. There are a lot of people scheduled for meet & greet, so the organizer asked us to form a group of 6. Before the meet & greet, I already conditioned myself about the words I was going to utter in front of him like:  “ HI Justin, I’m Justin too, Good Luck on your show tonight” “Hey, Man how are you?”.  But when I stepped into his room, I immediately stopped and stared at him from the door. Little did I know that my fellow meet & greeters were already beside him. I smiled at him and he did the same thing. Yes I was still standing in front of him, they’re all ready for the picture, they’re waiting for me, so what Kenny Hamilton did was he grabbed me gently and took me beside Bieber. When I saw Kenny, I said to him,  “Oh Hi Kenny Hamilton. How you doin’?   Then he said  “I’m good Bro”  and then we took the picture. Now, I am still in a state of shock and how I wish I was able to utter those words to Justin Bieber and introduce myself. I am still blesssed that I am able to meet him personally and see him upclose and personal out of all the concert guest that day.  The Concert was jaw-some (jaw-dropping awesome)! Justin Bieber was so great! He nailed every single song he sang, he was sick during the concert vomiting in between his performances! He is someone with so much stage presence! Even just standing on stage doing nothing, was worthwhile!  He is so talented. Need I say more?  Thank You so much Justin Bieber for being an inspiration! Thank you for the music. I will forever live by the words “NEVER SAY NEVER” Truly, Nothing is impossible to God. Hope to see you so soon!! -@jb_lawrence  Check out the video I made for ‘That Should Be Me’ which won me M&G passes! Miguel Apologizes To Lloyd’s Hair! [VIDEO]

See the original post here:

As we previously reported, Decatur’s own Lloyd recently cut his hair again and tattooed his head with a guns and roses design. Which Artist Got Guns & Roses Tattooed On The Back Of Their Head? [VIDEO] Some time after Lloyd debuted his new ‘do on 106 & Park, singer Miguel tweeted about the haircut, which led to a back-and-forth exchange between the singers on Twitter. The feud between Miguel and Lloyd about their hair came to a head when the two were to perform on the same stage at Cleveland’s Summer Jam this week, thrown by our affiliate station, Z 107.9. Z 107.9′s backstage snitches were on it when Miguel burst into Lloyd’s dressing room making light of his tweet about Lloyd’s haircut. Our snitch tells us the exclusive… “Miguel bursts into the dressing room while singing ‘The Wayans Brothers’ sitcom song… ‘We’re brother, we’re happy and we’re singing and we’re colored…’ While he laughs in greeting him. Lloyd was not laughing and immediately shut it down by asking him why he would tweet such a thing. The tension was definitely thick and the two try to hash it out but at the end… it doesn’t seem like the two will want to share a stage again. You tell me what you think because the whole conversation was accidentally recorded. In the recording you will hear at the start Miguel singing and greeting Lloyd. Listen below! Lloyd: Why? Why would you even say that, though? Miguel: I’m sorry, you’re right. I shouldn’t have said it on twitter… there’s no beef… It was the wrong thing to say at the wrong time. Lloyd: But the fact is that I was not trying to imitate you… I just shaved my head for my tattoo. I felt like it was disrespectful… cheap and distasteful. …this really ain’t my thing but for you to say that and bring all that kind of energy to me… My album just released so why am I answering questions about Miguel when I should be talking about my album that I spent two years working on? Check out the video from their performances below. Do you think the beef effected their stage game? Did Adam Levine Slam Adam Lambert on The Voice?

The Voice highlighted its final eight contestants last night. But instead of focusing on the performances , Twitter was alive this morning with buzz over one of Adam Levine’s critiques. As seen below, in praising Nakia for his cover of “Whataya Want From Me,” the Maroon 5 singer took a few seemingly random jabs at Adam Lambert. Nakia – Whataya Want From Me (The Voice) “I’m not familiar with that song, but you just forced me to like it,” Levine said. “I’m pretty sure, although I’ve never heard that song before, that you probably sang it better than the person that sang it originally.” Was Levine simply giving Nakia props? Perhaps. But his repeated references to being unfamiliar with the original song and artist have raised the ire of Lambert lovers. In response, the former American Idol finalist took the high road (mostly) on Twitter: “I think Adam might know who I am after this next album. Get ready for me Levine. Hahah… But for the record, Im def a Maroon 5 fan. Fans: there is NO reason to be angry. Thanks for being protective but it’s all good. :)” Levine isn’t the only judge on The Voice in hot water over a recent comment. Cee Lo Green took to Twitter himself yesterday to clarify a remark many considered to be anti-gay. Back to Levine, though: Do you think he meant to diss Lambert?

Kane is Able: Chelsea Takes Command on Dancing With the Stars

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas all but assured their place in next week’s finale by taking a Winner Take All dance in Monday’s Dancing With the Stars semis. We can debate whether or not this new scoring wrinkle is fair, but what’s not up for debate is how far the Disney Channel star has come in recent weeks. Capturing the Winner Take All Cha-Cha and its 15 extra points will help her cause, but she also scored a combined 58 in the other two routines last night. Speaking on Kane’s behalf in a pre-recorded segment, friend Joe Jonas said of Chelsea, “she’s doing such a great job. I think this is just the beginning.” She’ll be tough to beat next week in any case. Casey Abrams Had To ‘Translate’ Online Haters During ‘American Idol’

‘You take away the swear words … and you read what they’re actually trying to say,’ he tells MTV News of nasty comments. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Casey Abrams Photo: MTV News You might be surprised to learn that, when he wasn’t slapping the bass or battling colitis , recently departed “American Idol” hopeful Casey Abrams enjoyed nothing more than kicking back, stroking his beard, and diving headfirst into the sea of comments fans of the show had written about him. And, unlike pretty much everyone else in “Idol” history, he preferred them to be as nasty as possible. “What you have to do is kinda, you have to translate it. If they’re saying negative things about you, you take away the swear words and like ‘I hate you’ and you read what they’re actually trying to say,” he told MTV News. “And, if [they wrote] ‘Casey sucked this performance, he sounded like a dog,’ I take it as ‘Casey, stop growling so much.’ And if I see more than, like, 10 comments like that, I’m going to take it as a sign, and I’m going to try to ease up on the growling.” So Abrams used fan comments much in the same way he did the input of the “Idol” judges: He weighed their value against his instincts and acted accordingly (he certainly didn’t stop growling). Like he told us previously, it’s all “jelly beans in a jar.” And though he read plenty of nasty things about himself, he let them all roll off his back — except for one thing. Seems you can call Abrams whatever you want, just don’t equate his performances to jazz. “The jazz thing [bothered me],” he said. “I didn’t see a lot of negative comments, but I saw that, like, it fell flat, and I’m OK with that. When I first listened to jazz, I didn’t like it at all, I hated it, and then I had to play it to really get what it meant, so every single negative comment, I get where they’re coming from, so it’s all good.” Don’t miss “Idol Party Live” every Thursday at noon on MTV.com for analysis, celebrity guests and even some karaoke — get in the conversation by tweeting with the hashtag #idolparty! ‘Lemonade Mouth’ Has ‘Real People Going Through Real Stuff,’ Stars Say

Five new Disney Channel stars say the movie, premiering Friday night, is all about the music. By Jocelyn Vena Bridget Mendler Photo: MTV News It’s Friday, and that means that the highly anticipated new Disney flick “Lemonade Mouth” premieres in a living room near you. The story follows a group of teens who start a band to deal with their high school angst and the stars, who stopped by the MTV News offices earlier this week, said there’s a lot of heart in the story, based on the book by Mark Peter Hughes. That heart, it seems, is reflected in the songs. “I want them to see the music in the movie, because I think that completely changes it,” Bridget Mendler said. “I think that the music alone is really fun.” “Every song has a meaning throughout our story line of Lemonade Mouth,” Adam Hicks added. “We write songs [in the movie] to what we’re going through, and you see us rehearse and you see the band grow.” Naomi Scott wants fans to see that growth over the course of the flick. “I really want people to be able to really know our characters, and I think by the end of the film, they do; they know who Lemonade Mouth are,” she said. But those who aren’t big fans of musicals shouldn’t fret. The cast wants viewers to know: This not a musical. It’s a movie about a band. “It’s not just like a movie where we get up and start singing through the hallways,” Blake Michael said. “It’s real people going through real stuff.” So what should fans be most excited for? “The music, the performances!” the cast said in unison. Check out everything we’ve got on “Lemonade Mouth.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
