Toya Wright Explains Her Separation From Memphitz Toya Wright is finally confirming what’s been speculated for weeks; that her marriage to Memphitz is on the rocks . The ex-wife of Lil Wayne recently dished on her marital woes and gave her take on her hubby and his latest social media outbursts. Via NecoleBitchie: On the status of her and Memphtiz relationship and Why He’s Acting Out: The current status of me and my husband [is] we are separated at the moment. And, we’re just- everybody has their marital issues. And right now, you know, we’re separated. I mean, what is going on with my husband, like I said when I spoke on it, is it’s bigger than me. Micky has been going through something for the last few years since the whole lawsuit thing against his ex [K. Michelle] and Viacom and it really took a toll on him and it caused him to be a different person. So I think that, going through all of those things, and having all of that stress and the world looking at you one way as a “woman beater” and person that steals someone’s money, it’s hard for you to get back into your industry when you had a career and not a job and somebody defames your character. I mean, it’s a lot to deal with day to day. And I watched it. I went through it with him for three years. And I’ve been to counseling with him and you know all types of things or whatever so he can get back strong. It’s a lot for him, that’s on him and choosing to live our marriage publicly, everybody has an opinion, and when somebody has the bigger platform to share their story and the other person doesn’t, it kind of gets one sided. And for him- I always get upset when he reacts out of anger on social media because I know that’s not really him and it’s coming from a bitter, angry place because the world has turned him into that person. You know, constantly accusing him of doing this and doing that and he’s constantly struggling to get back to what he had. Toya also touched on how the possibility that he’s “fallen into her shadow” since their marriage: When I met him, he had a career. He was a self made guy with his own. And then to fall back into my shadow, and then to be known as a woman beater and a this and a that it’s kind of, a lot. It’s a lot to deal with. And I’m just praying for him and praying for our situation. I’m a person that is all about love and our family and I don’t like to give up. Especially being married two times. I don’t even like to go through the whole dating stage and all of that. I love my husband and I’m praying that we can get through this and he can get back right to the person that I met because he’s not the person that I met. This whole situation has changed him into someone else. The New Hope Baptist Church Helps Bobbi Kristina’s Grandmother Deal With Her Tragic Loss As Cissy Houston continues to keep a bedside vigil for her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, her church members told Bossip that she’s sought solace in the Lord’s house. Cissy Houston, 81, is a longtime, faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. Houston is often seen during services sitting in the church’s downstairs lounge, listening to New Hope’s head, the Rev. Joe A. Carter. She takes in services in private downstairs in order to not make a commotion. The Baptist house of worship is where her daughter, Whitney Houston , grew up, and where she was laid to rest almost three years ago. “She’s always here,” one New Hope member told Bossip. “Nine times out of ten, she’s here.” So dedicated is Cissy to New Hope Baptist, that she sang a solo for the funeral of the church’s oldest trustee the same week that she flew to Atlanta to be by Bobbi Kristina’s side. The church member told Bossip that Cissy’s devotion to the church is helping her deal with her daughter’s death and her granddaughter’s fragile state. “I guess that kind of helped relieve her,” the source, a longtime member, told Bossip. This Wednesday marks three years since Whitney Houston’s death. The Rev. Joe A Carter didn’t mention Cissy or Bobbi Kristina during Sunday’s sermon, or the one the week before, but parishioners acknowledged Cissy’s pride of place in the congregation. The close-knit churchgoers are fiercely protective of their most famous member. One member threatened a reporter Sunday who was asking questions about Cissy. The Rev. Carter did not return Bossip’s repeated requests for comment. Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma after a friend found her face down in her bathtub. Bizarrely, her mother died after being found in a bathtub in 2012. Meanwhile, Houston family cousin Dionne Warwick is continuing to recover from a nasty fall in the shower of her South Orange, NJ home. Warwick slipped Jan. 24, and underwent ankle surgery, recovering in the hospital for nearly two weeks. A source close to the singer told Bossip that she’s now at another medical facility, and Bobbi Kristina’s tub incident is still too raw for her to talk about. “It’s very, very personal,” the source quoted the singer as saying.
NFL Networks Are Reportedly Glad That Warren Sapp Was Fired For Solicting Prostitutes After all, colleagues have the gall, to pray, and pray on Sapp’s downfall… According to TMZ reports : Warren Sapp wasn’t exactly Mr. Congeniality at the NFL Network — with a whole bunch of employees telling TMZ Sports they’re GLAD he’s gone … because he was a nightmare to work with. As difficult and complicated as this situation must be for them, we can’t see how they wouldn’t have his back 100 percent. After all, he’s there dad. Moreover, when a human being feels so lost, so insecure, so uncomfortable in their own’s skin that such a move is necessary for their happiness? The inner turmoil must have been really, really bad prior to that. It’s hard not to feel bad for Bruce, feeling trapped in such a state for so long. Dear Bossip , All my life I have tried to force myself to get rid of these thoughts. These thoughts haunt me daily. I am attracted to women being a male, but there’s something I’ve been forcing myself to control and that is that I’m seeing men as attractive. I hate it, and I hate myself. I do not want to be gay. I sometimes cry myself to sleep and I am deeply depressed. I need to know why in the world these thoughts consume me when I can’t control them. I’m stuck because I don’t feel as though people are born that way and things happened to me during my childhood that traumatized me that could possibly force me to have these feelings. I’ve been sexually abused by a man in my family and I told no one. Now, what is happening to me is being twisted around to make me feel as though it was my fault by my aggressor. The only reason I won’t say anything is because the fact that it happened disgusts me. I wish I could find help and some reason for why I have these feelings. Again, I don’t want to be this way. What should I do? I am on the verge of losing my mind. I have a feeling a lot of young men are dealing with this issue and me stepping up to ask these questions can help someone else. – Struggling With My Sexuality Dear Mr. Struggling With My Sexuality , I truly feel for you, and I empathize with you and your struggle to understand your sexual thoughts and desires. I cannot tell you how to fight these desires, feelings, and thoughts you have for the same sex. I cannot tell you that these are abnormal thoughts, and it is not who you are. Your feelings, thoughts, and desires are your own, and only you can decide for yourself how you will identify, if you choose to do so. However, just know that you are okay the way that you are. You are fine. You are a beautiful human being, and there is nothing wrong with you, and nothing you need to fix. The fact that you mentioned that you are attracted to both men and women may mean that you could be a bisexual male. It’s interesting that you stated that since you have an attraction to men you shared that you don’t want to be gay. You still have desires for women, from what you stated. I suggest that you research and read up on bisexuality. Also, understand the entire range of LGBT – Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transsexual. I am concerned that you were abused by a man in your family and have not told anyone. I do hope that you will strongly consider talking with someone, and deal with what happened to you. I am also concerned that your aggressor turns the situation back on you, which means you are still in contact with this person, and he makes it appear as if his rape and assault on you was an invitation by you, or something you did. That is not the case. Your aggressor is a pedophile and someone who is mentally ill. What they are doing to you, and have done to you, is classic for a pedophile who doesn’t want their secret to get out, and they know they are wrong for what they did. He doesn’t want you to tell you anyone, and he is making you feel guilty for what happened, thus, he is manipulating you and controlling you. Tell someone. Tell everyone. Tell anyone who will listen and put him blast. Do not allow him to continue to control you, and make you feel you warranted what he did to you. I also recommend that you get into therapy and speak with a licensed and professional therapist to deal with your depression, the assault you endured, and your thoughts about your sexuality. You cannot manage this alone, and you cannot keep these bottled up. You will do more harm and damage to yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically. Please get help and deal with these issues before you spiral out of control. Being gay or bisexual is not wrong and neither does it mean that there is something wrong with you. Your sexual identity is a part of who you are, and no one can determine your sexuality but you. Please do not feel that people are not born that way, and that there is something wrong with being LGBTQIA. People think that persons choose to be gay, and it is not the case. Ask a heterosexual person if they choose to be heterosexual. They may say or tell you it’s wrong or abnormal to be gay or bisexual. And, then you ask them what is right and normal. And, normal based on what? Normal defined by whom? Normal according to whom? Hell, there are many people who thought, and still think that being black is abnormal. You can’t help who you are, and know that you are brilliantly and beautifully designed the way you are. It’s going to be long process for you to get to where you learn to love, accept, and appreciate who you are. Work on embracing yourself. It begins with you first. I do hope that you will stop hating yourself. I do hope that you will stop allowing your rapist to turn this on you. And, I do hope that you get the help you need. If you keep beating yourself up, hating yourself, and accepting the blame for what your rapist did to you then you will end up harming yourself and others emotionally, mentally, and physically. Lastly, I do recommend reaching out to an LGBT community center in your area, and schedule some time to go and speak with someone. They can help you with resources, and information that can help you understand who you are, and provide support groups and meetings, as well as a counselor/therapist you can speak with. So, today, claim victory over your life. Claim love. Claim acceptance. And, claim power. Bill Cosby Hires Private Investigators To Expose Secrets Of Accusers After accusing the media of running a vicious smear campaign against him by simply reporting on the rape scandal that has been haunting him since September, Bill Cosby has now apparently hired a team to tear down and discredit his accusers one by one. Via NewYorkPost : Bill Cosby has hired a battalion of private investigators to dig up dirt on his many accusers, The Post has learned. The comedian, fighting an onslaught of accusations that he sexually assaulted more than two dozen women over many years, is paying six-figure fees to private investigators for information that might discredit his alleged victims. Multiple sources confirmed that Cosby, through his Hollywood attorney Martin Singer, is implementing a scorched-earth strategy in which anything negative in his accusers’ pasts is fair game. At least one Glendale, Calif.-based firm with a half-dozen former LAPD detectives on staff is muckraking for Cosby, a source said. “If you’re going to say to the world that I did this to you, then the world needs to know, ‘What kind of person are you? Who is this person that’s saying it?’ ” Cosby told his legal and public-relations team at a recent meeting, according to an insider who was present. “You can’t say that I put something in your coffee, threw you in a cab and then you go on and live a high-profile life, a famous life and you never complain,” Cosby said, referring to supermodel Beverly Johnson, who claimed “America’s Dad” spiked her cappuccino during a visit to his home in the 1980s, the source said. “You mean you never reported it to the police? You never tell anyone?” The source continued: “The strategy isn’t new and it’s quite simple: You say I’m a bad guy, well, let’s see what gives you the right to throw a stone at my house when your home is also made of glass.” The accusers mainly say they waited to avoid this very consequence…and it seems that no matter what time frame they report their story they face the same fate. Another one?!?! Tension is at an all time high in Missouri after a suburban St. Louis officer killed 18-year-old Antonio Martin just two miles from the city where Mike Brown was murdered. Details are skimpy but some witnesses report that after Martin was shot (and still breathing) officers allowed his body to lay in the street for two hours before his corpse was carted away in an unmarked van. Sound familiar???? The Saint Louis Post-Dispatch reports: A Berkeley police officer fatally shot a suspect who pointed a gun at him late Tuesday, St. Louis County police said early today. Police did not identify the person killed but Toni Martin, who was at the scene, said he was her 18-year-old son, Antonio Martin. Several protesters also arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting. Many stayed overnight. St. Louis County police said the incident started about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday as the Berkeley officer “was conducting a routine business check” at the Mobil gas station at 6800 North Hanley Road. The officer saw two people outside the station, got out of his vehicle and approached them. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired at the officer. “Fearing for his life, the Berkeley Officer fired several shots, striking the subject, fatally wounding him,” the release from the county police said. “The second subject fled the scene.” Berkeley police requested that the county department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit handle the investigation of the shooting. Detectives “recovered the deceased subject’s handgun at the scene,” the release from county police said. For at least two hours, the body remained on the parking lot just in front of the gas station as police investigated the shooting. Berkeley police cars were on either side. A Berkeley police car was later towed away. The station appeared to have security cameras that are trained on the parking lot. Toni Martin said her son was with his girlfriend at the time of the shooting. The girlfriend remained at the scene but declined to talk to a reporter. Just after the shooting, several dozen people gathered outside the gas station, which was ringed by crime scene tape. The crowd at the station included ministers and some of the people who have been active in the protests related to the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, 18, by a Ferguson police officer in August. At one point, as some of the protesters grew rowdy, explosive flashes were set off. It was unclear by who. This ish is CRAZY, 2014 couldn’t even end before we had another shooting!!!
