According to Raw Story: A 68-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged with simple battery after being caught on video apparently accosting and hitting a woman at a fast-food drive-thru, ABC News reported on Monday. The encounter between Howard Carl Wilson and Brittani Thomas reportedly began when the vehicle in which she was riding pulled ahead of Wilson’s van while they were in line at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Winter Haven. The footage, shot by a witness in line behind them, begins after Thomas opened the passenger door to speak to him. Wilson can be seen preventing her from closing the door. United Press International reported that witnesses heard Wilson cursing and yelling racial slurs before approaching the other vehicle. The ensuing argument allegedly lasted around two minutes, until Wilson apparently punches Thomas. He then walks away from her vehicle. When police later visited Wilson at his home to ask about the incident, he allegedly told officers that he was “at the passenger door of the vehicle for no more than 15 seconds.” However, he changed his story after being shown the footage, admitting to being the person identified in the video and saying, “It was like a road rage incident.” Check out the video below. Father Likely To Avoid Charges For Killing Teen He Mistook For Intruder The unfortunate case of a 17-year-old boy who lost his life at the hands of a father who killed him after his daughter snuck the boy into their home but later claimed no to know him is likely to have an ending that the boy’s family will certainly not be happy with according to a local prosecutor. via Fox News The Houston father who police say fatally shot a 17-year-old boy who was inside his daughter’s bedroom early Thursday morning will likely not be charged, an area prosecutor told MyFoxHouston.com. Although a grand jury will review the case, prosecutor Warren Diepraam said it is unlikely that the father will be charged. “What was going on in the person’s mind at the time of the shooting, [not] what they found out after the fact” is key, Diepraam said. “They’re looking at what he was thinking when he made the decision to shoot.” He reportedly found the teen in bed with his daughter and confronted him. His daughter apparently told him she did not know the boy. The father said he told the teen not to move, but reportedly saw the teen reach for something, at which point police say the father opened fire. The teen did not have a gun. His daughter later confessed that she snuck her boyfriend, 17, into the house, the report said. “We don’t know if the father knew him or not,” Sgt.
