Kate Gosselin still doesn’t know if she is ready to move on. It’s been nearly two years since she separated from her ex Jon Gosselin, and the mother of eight sat down with Dr. Drew Wednesday for a tearful, candid interview. The usually stoic 36-year-old got choked up, confessing that the single life “so lonely” and saying it would take a very special man to take on eight kids now. Even if one wanted to, she isn’t sure she can handle that. Kate Gosselin Cries on Dr. Drew When asked “Do you have a love life?’ Kate replied: “No. I’m too busy.” “A lot of my friends who are being constructive say ‘gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?’ My answer’s always if they can deal with eight children in our situation it probably will be the person. It will sort of prove it.” Dr. Drew pushed Kate further, asking: “You’re tough but don’t you want somebody in your life?” To which she replied: “Absolutely! The odds are so against me.” “I mean, I don’t expect someone to come in and financially provide for my kids, I mean, they’re mine, that’s my job. So, just to have somebody there…” “One mom and eight kids … so it would be great. I mean, I’m so lonely. I clean up the house, put the kids to bed and there I sit. Former Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert , who famously rejected Ben Flajnik, is trying to give Courtney Robertson the benefit of the doubt. She really is. Amanda Knox, the American college student who spent nearly four years in an Italian jail for murder, only to have her conviction overturned, is read to tell her story. And be paid handsomely for it. The international drama that unfolded on TV and in newspapers is now about to be told from the inside, in a subjective and profitable account, by Amanda Knox herself. Knox, who was freed last fall after her conviction in the murder of Meredith Kercher was thrown out, has sold her book to HarperCollins for what is said to be $4 million. “It is a story everyone else seems to have told except for the person at the center of it all,” Jonathan Burnham, the publisher of HarperCollins, told The N.Y. Times . “There has been plenty of rumor and conjecture about her, the role she played in events, and speculation about what happened. This book will tell the full story from her point of view for the very first time, and it will be told in her own words.” Amanda Knox, 24, kept prison diaries, the newspaper reports. In addition, her former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito , who was also cleared in the killing of Meredith Kercher, is said to be preparing to sell his own memoir. The award-winning R&B crooner was arrested at 12:25 p.m. by patrol officers who saw him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near 3rd Ave. and E. 21st St. “He wasn’t driving,” a police source said. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.” Thicke, 34, was in the Escalade with another person, the source said, but Thicke was the only one arrested and then charged with posession of marijuana. My Bieber Experience didn’t unfortunately involve Justin, but someone who we all know was the prime reason he is here for us. The man, yep Scott “Scooter” Braun. I met Scooter at The Wanted’s concert in LA. I had a big feeling he was going to be there because he kept RT’ing people talking about The Wanted and he kept tweeting about them himself. That day my friends (Nicole and Melissa) were standing by this curtain where we notice a lot of people with VIP passes kept coming in and out, so we decided to stand around to see who my come out, hoping the chances that one those could be Justin, lol. In the venue was a balcony which was considered the VIP section and I kept looking up to see if anyone cool was there; I seemed to notice this guy in particular, wearing a cap with a casual shirt and jeans so I elbow my friend Melissa and tell her “Dude imagine that’s Scooter?!” Not even 5 minutess went by, as I was stared down at my phone for a quick second, look up and BAM!!!! Right in front of me was Scooter Braun. I was like “OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” (deep down inside) but calmly I called his name twice and he turned around & I asked him a for a picture and he responded: I’m gonna go real quick with the guys (The Wanted) backstage wish them Good Luck and I promise when I come back I will take a picture with you”. Some of you might thing, “Oh my gosh he totally blew you off” but not at all. I wasn’t mad or anything, I was freaking out that he at least had the time to talk to me. So he was back there for about 15 mins and finally he came back out and then as he was talking to someone he said the guy, “Hold on”, I asked him “Is it okay to take a picture with you now? He’s like, “Of course”, so we took a picture and the first one came out really white because my phone is just horrible, so he’s like, “Do you want to take another one?” I gladly said “YES please?” So we did. I thanked him so much for taking a picture with me. After the concert he filled us in with some Bieber news, and told us that Believe was coming out so great, and that Justin has been working so hard for us and that night he was gonna work on something special with Drake. I was beyond stoked when he said that. I was like “Can you please let Justin know I appreciate everything he does for us” and gladly he said “I will relate the message”. The best part of that day was just simply talking to Scooter with no crazy screaming girls, it was just Scooter, Nicole, Melissa and I. But in a real-life Hunger Games, Swift tells MTV News she’d be ‘the person who runs and hides.’ By Kara Warner, with reporting by Sway Calloway Taylor Swift Photo: MTV News MTV News kicked off the week in a big way Monday with the exclusive premiere of the video for Taylor Swift’s “Hunger Games” soundtrack song “Safe & Sound,” which was followed by a lengthy chat with the country superstar about everything from her love for Suzanne Collins’ best-selling book to her adorable cat Meredith. Swift also took Twitter questions from fans, one of which came from @SafeandSound4Taylor, who asked the Grammy winner what she would do if she were in the real-life Hunger Games. “I’ve thought about this, because reading the books, you’re so sucked into it that as you go about your life, you sit there, and you’re like, ‘Could I climb that tree?’ ‘Could I make a weapon out of this?’ ‘If I had to forage for food, what would I do?’ Honestly, I think I would just be the person who runs and hides,” she admitted. “I kind of freeze. You know how you have fight, flight or freeze, those three reactions to something scary? I just freeze.” Swift said she would try to run and hide somewhere, and if she had to kill anyone, she hoped it would be in an indirect way, similar to a few of the deaths Katniss inflicts almost accidentally in the books. When asked how writing a song for the movie came about, Swift said she received a call directly from the studio and subsequently devoured the books. “I immediately read the book in, like, two days and fell in love with it,” she said. “I fell in love with the characters, fell in love with the world that Suzanne Collins had created. I was just so immersed in it.” She also revealed that when she was first asked to pen a song for the soundtrack, she thought she’d be writing something encouraging and upbeat. “When I got the call, I thought from what I’d heard about the movie, ‘It’s an action movie, right? We’re probably going to be writing a song that’s like, “We’re going to win!” ‘ And then I read the book, and I thought, ‘No, we’re going to have to write sort of a death lullaby, it’s so different from what I thought.’ ” Swift seemed just as excited about seeing the finished film as we are and expressed curiosity in seeing scenes from the actual Games, which we haven’t yet been shown via sneak peeks or trailers. “They have never shown footage of the Games,” Swift said. “I’m dying to see that. Everyone wants to see pivotal parts. The relationship with Rue and Katniss and also Peeta and Katniss and their relationship developing, and none of the Games have been shown yet, so I’m so excited for the movie.
