Keith Brown, the father of a former classic piano-playing group titled the 5 Browns, was sentenced in court today. In February, the 55-year old pleaded guilty to sexually abusing three of his kids many years ago, a crime for which he’ll spend at least a decade in prison. He’ll spend 10 years to life in Utah state prison, a clerk court confirms. Brown’s crimes took place between November 1990 and October 1992; and March 1997 and March 1998. Daughters Desirae, 32, Deondra, 30, and Melody, 26, have issued a statement saying they came forward about the incidents once rumors that their father would be managing a new band – comprised of teenagers – began to circulate.
One is a politician, the other a humanitarian. And now Arnold Schwarzenegger and Angelina Jolie can both add a new title to their resumes: comic book hero. The former Governor of California will soon be transformed by none other than legendary writer Stan Lee, who has created The Governator and tells Entertainment Weekly of the character: “[He] is going to be a great superhero, but he’ll also be Arnold Schwarzenegger. We’re using all the personal elements of Arnold’s life… Only after he leaves the governor’s office, Arnold decides to become a crime fighter and builds a secret high-tech crime-fighting center under his house in Brentwood.” Jolie, meanwhile, is the latest in a long line to be honored by Bluewater Productions. That company has also published comic books for Lady Gaga, Justin Biber, Robert Pattinson and many others. “I learned a great deal about her struggles and triumphs as an award-winning actress, mother and humanitarian,” writer Brent Sprecher said of working on the fictional adventure. He also gave her a giant rack. Check it out above!

Singer covered songs ranging from classic ‘Pleasure Principle’ to 2008’s ‘Feedback’ at New York show. By Vaughn Schoonmaker Janet Jackson Photo: Christopher Polk/ Getty Images Often imitated, never duplicated, Janet Jackson’s outbursts of meticulous choreography, sassy exclamations and smoldering gazes into the audience kept them on their feet for the entire two-hour set of her greatest hits at Radio City Music Hall. Monday night marked the last of three sold-out shows at the historic venue on her monumental Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour . Up-and-coming boy band Mindless Behavior opened the show with songs including “#1 Girl,” “Future” and their debut single “My Girl.” With their Usher-esque dance moves and shouts like “Where the ladies at?” the boys brought the tween girls out of hiding, judging by the shrill screams escaping various corner of the music hall. At 9:00 sharp, the lights went down and Janet’s fans were on the edge of their seats, watching music videos for “The Best Things in Life Are Free” and “Rhythm Nation” projected on big screens across the venue. A small shadow drifted toward center stage, and when the colorful lights came up, Jackson, wrapped in a shoulder-padded catsuit, complete with slick short hair, blasted into “The Pleasure Principle,” dancing as hard and intensely choreographed as she did when the song first came out in the 1980s. With barely a spare second between songs, Janet dazzled her way through her biggest hits, including “Miss You Much,” “All for You” and “Nasty,” and more recent hits like 2008’s “Feedback.” Videos displayed during Jackson’s costume changes included vintage clips from “Diff’rent Strokes,” a funny scene from “Poetic Justice” where Jackson slyly rejects the advances of Tupac Shakur’s character, and a rather heavy scene, as Jackson’s character in “Why Did I Get Married” destroys her husband’s house with a golf club, screaming hysterically. Considering the tough couple of years the Jackson family has faced, the dark moments in the video seemed necessary, and everyone was beside themselves with bittersweet joy when Michael Jackson’s face popped up on the big screen and she performed their hit single “Scream.” Janet emerged for her encore in a tight white one-piece disco suit, performing “Diamonds,” “Make Me” and “Together Again,” which appeared to be the biggest hit of the evening. Graciously bowing out, Jackson’s straight face transitioned into a smirk, suggesting that despite the hard times she has experienced recently, we can expect to see this singing and dancing pop legend shine far into the future. “Its amazing!” Janet fan Elena Mercantini gleamed afterward. “It’s like she’s still 20 years old!” “She’s hot, she’s amazing and she’s still got it after all these years” added Alison Klinger of Long Island. “Best concert I’ve ever been to!” Related Photos Michael Jackson: A Life In Photos Related Artists Janet Jackson Michael Jackson
(Robert De Niro Sr.) Legendary actor Robert De Niro will appear in court in front of “your honor” to defend his father’s estate from some money-grubbin’ buchiach (see b*tch ). You cross-examinin’ me?! Actor Robert De Niro will be the star witness — literally — in Manhattan Supreme Court today when he testifies against an art-gallery director accused of swiping two of his artist father’s paintings, The Post has learned. The Oscar-winning “Raging Bull” and “Meet the Fockers” star will testify against Leigh Morse, charged with grand larceny for allegedly selling two paintings by De Niro’s late father, Robert De Niro Sr. She allegedly pocketed the $77,000 sale price without passing a penny to the actor, who administers the father’s estate, prosecutors said. Morse allegedly swiped the cash while she was director at the defunct Salander-O’Reilly Galleries, the sole handler for the paintings of De Niro Sr. Morse told a San Francisco gallery to wire the total $77,000 sale price for the paintings — “Guitar Case” and “Landscape with Pink Field” — directly into her personal bank account and never told De Niro, prosecutors allege. The buyers of the artwork were unnamed. “You will hear from Robert De Niro himself that the estate was never paid for those sales,” Assistant District Attorney Kenn Kern told jurors in opening statements yesterday. De Niro is expected to take the stand in the afternoon, said a source familiar with the case. Morse worked for notorious Upper East Side gallery giant Lawrence Salander, who pleaded guilty a year ago to a $100 million trail of larceny in what prosecutors had called the most massive fraud scheme in local art-industry history. Ohhhh so this heffer was trained to steal by one of the best. Now we get it. Leigh Morse gonna sleep with the fishes if she doesn’t come up with 77 large asap! Bassist showcases his new ‘poptimistic’ project on Wednesday night. By James Montgomery The Black Cards perform at SXSW on Wednesday Photo: Daniel Boczarski/ Getty Images AUSTIN, Texas — Is it possible that Pete Wentz is really a poptimist? Despite his dark bangs and Black Cloud missives, his best Fall Out Boy songs were always, at their very core, spiky slabs of pure pop. And no matter what may be going on in his personal life these days, his new project Black Cards seems to be solely focused around the idea of optimism. So yes, perhaps he has been — and always will be — a poptimist at heart. And that much was certainly clear during the Cards’ Wednesday night performance at South by Southwest, a 45-minute set that was as heavy on sparkly synths and bubbly dub as it was on, well, pure poptimism. Wentz even said as much himself, telling the crowd that his new mission is to “broadcast sunshine,” and that “sometimes it’s good to have summer all the time.” He declared, “It’s good to be onstage and see people smiling,” slapped high fives with strangers, and closed the set by inviting everyone in Austin club Maggie Mae’s to join him and his bandmates onstage for an impromptu dance party. And in keeping with the spirit of the night, nearly everyone in the place obliged. And in between the sunshine and the smiling, Wentz spent the majority of the Black Cards’ set pogoing around the stage, thumbing out wobbly, delirious bass lines, and generally looking happier than he has in years. In fact, he seemed perfectly content to let someone else have the spotlight — the fans, his friends in the audience (most of whom received shout-outs) and, of course, frontwoman Bebe Rexha, who was more than willing to accept. All hips and lips and breathy exclamations, Rexha quickly proved to be the perfect foil for Wentz, whether she was getting low during the Cards’ dubbier, clubbier numbers (“Dirty Little Fingerprints,” “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Fame”), vamping it up (on upcoming single “Summer Nights,” when she removed a pair of handcuffs from her belt, snapped them on the wrist of a fan and then serenaded him in sultry fashion), or just plain old belting it out (on a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”). Patrick Stump she most certainly isn’t, and perhaps that’s for the best. Because, really, the Black Cards’ SXSW set wasn’t about Pete Wentz’s past so much as it was about his future. With his new project, he not only appears to be having a blast, he just may have stumbled onto something big. By combining dub, a touch of rock-steady and a whole lot of pop, he’s uncovered a recipe for something new … for him, for his fans, for everybody. “Summer Nights” seems destined to be a radio staple, “Dominos” is a starry burst of synths and bass, and performance-closing “A Club Called Heaven” probably would’ve gotten the fans dancing onstage even if Wentz hadn’t invited them to. It was, in short, poptimism, pure and simple. Not exactly new, not entirely old, with Black Cards, Pete Wentz may very well end up proving the old adage correct: Optimists are nostalgic about the future.
