The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband, has reportedly been charged by federal officials with bank fraud and identity theft. Nida was named in a criminal complaint last Tuesday after an investigation by the U.S. District Attorney’s office, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . The paper reports that Nida created fake companies and then used access to credit reporting databases to locate individuals whose names he used. His alleged goal? To fraudulently open bank accounts and obtain loans. If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you know Nida’s reputation. This isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law, to say the least. He is said to have served prison time from 2004-09 for auto title fraud. Phaedra Parks , an entertainment attorney and Real Housewives cast member, wed Apollo Nida in 2009, after his release. They have two sons, Ayden and Dylan. Wonder what she has to say about this particular legal fiasco … Nida was apparently named by the original target of the investigation, Gayla St. Julien, who was arrested in September on similar criminal counts. She confessed all the details of their joint operation, including the fact that Nida would steal people’s IDs and have St. Julien open accounts as them. While in custody, federal officials say St. Julien “described herself as Nida’s right hand b—h in executing the legwork of his fraud schemes.” Guess this right hand b—h copped a plea deal.

Smith, the husband of recurring cast member Mynique Smith, was bragging about his wild, sexual past with Phaedra and Kandi on Sunday’s episode. He said he put it to both of them when he was a young football star and that they were just part of a “team” of women he had stashed around the arena. According to Kandi it was more than a fling and Chuck was a frequent visitor at her home. However, Chuck disputed that story, relegating Kandi and co-star Phaedra Parks to “friends with benefits” status. “You weren’t my girlfriend he clarified to Phaedra,” leaving no doubt about his take on it. The attorney had previously described their relationship as “dating,” but Chuck didn’t give it that much credit. He also described Kandi as one of his “team,” but did admit that he made her feel special by spending time with her mom and aunts. “He said he was taking advantage of a young girl…he really went out of his way to take advantage,” said Kandi on Big Tigger’s V-103 radio show. “That was deep.” Though Kandi said she’s not giving Chuck’s comments much attention, she took issue with him suggesting that she was “popular” with lots of men during that era. “I’ve moved on, but I would appreciate it if he’d stop…,” she said. “On one hand, he tried to make it sound like I was dating all these people, but on the other hand, he felt the need to make me feel special. Can you get your story together? Stop lying.” While Chuck may have been trying to humiliate the “RHOA” stars, fans of the show took to Twitter to blast him for his comments about Kandi and Phaedra, especially considering he’d just spoken to kids at the Boys & Girls Club and asked them to respect their moms and sisters. Kandi’s not letting Chuck get to her because she has Todd, but if she doesn’t get Mama Joyce under control, Todd will be on to the next one.
