Justin Bieber Dons Fake Mustache

We’ve known for years that Justin Bieber was talented. We found out this week that Justin Bieber was also super intelligent, as evidenced by his ability to solve a Rubik’s Cube in 90 seconds. Now, it’s been confirmed that Justin Bieber is also hilarious. The 16-year old drew on a mustache during a night out in London this week. Why? Heck… why not?!? [Photo: Pacific Coast News] What do you think of the Biebs with a mustache?

Erin Barry Denies Affair With Tony Parker

Erin Barry has broken her silence. Tony Parker’s mistress slash sexting partner denies she had anything to do with the end of his marriage to Eva Longoria in a heated Facebook post. Eva and Tony separated last month amid reports of him sending hundreds of racy texts to Erin Barry , the wife of his former teammate Brent Barry. BARRY THE HATCHET : Somehow we don’t buy Erin’s denials . Erin Facebooked, unequivocally, that “I DID NOT HAVE AN AFFAIR with Tony Parker, nor did I pursue Tony Parker. Unfortunately, since our divorces are occurring at the same time, great speculation has been cast on our friendship.” Barry, who’s also getting divorced, adds, “My friendship with Tony Parker had nothing to do with the end of my marriage (which is painful enough without this drama). To assume we had an affair is naive, ridiculous, and misguided.” That clears it up … only not really. Note the lack of denials when it comes to picking up her phone and sending dirty thoughts. Call it a sexting-only non-affair .

‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Celebrates Grammy Nominations

The show’s cast is up for soundtrack and pop group awards. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Christina Garibaldi Lea Michele Photo: MTV News Week after week, the “Glee” cast has been delivering catchy covers of songs that people already love, so it’s not surprising that in addition to big sales and ratings numbers, they’re starting to receive music industry accolades as well. And on Wednesday night, they managed to snag two Grammy nominations , not just for the obvious category — Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media — but also for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals for their cover of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” “That’s so cool!” star Lea Michele (Rachel) said of the kudos. But she almost missed the news of their nods, since she was traveling to New York to attend the Billboard Women in Music Awards on Thursday (December 2). “I had to turn my phone off last night when we were taking of to come to New York, so up until the last minute I was texting my castmembers like, ‘What’s going on?’ ” she told MTV News on the red carpet of the Billboard event, where she was honored as a Triple Threat. “And then when I landed, I had, like, four from all of them like, ‘We got nominated!’ ” Funny enough, they are up against Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister” and Paramore’s “The Only Exception,” both of which have been reimagined on “Glee.” (Also nominated in the category are Maroon 5 for “Misery” and Sade for “Babyfather.”) And though the soundtrack nod is nothing to sneeze at, Michele has a soft spot for the Journey cover that was featured in the show’s season-one finale. “I’m so happy, especially that it’s for ‘Don’t Stop Believin’,’ which is for the whole cast, so that we all get to go,” she said. “That’s just awesome.” Which “Glee” cover do you think deserved a Grammy nomination? Talk about it in the comments. DJ Scoob Doo Taking Break From Lil Wayne To Travel To Africa

‘Nino Brown’ director tells Mixtape Daily he’ll shoot Wayne’s ‘Bill Gates’ video when he gets back. By Jayson Rodriguez, with reporting by Rahman Dukes Lil Wayne Photo: Leon Prime Celebrity Favorites: DJ Scoob Doo Scoob Doo might be best known for directing Lil Wayne music videos and as the man behind the “Nino Brown” DVD series featuring Tunechi, but the New Jersey native got his start behind the wheels of steel. Now, as a result of his growing popularity, Scoob’s taking his talents overseas. “I’m going to South Africa,” he told us over the phone on Tuesday. Scoob will be out there for the rest of the week and is scheduled to host and DJ a few parties while he’s in town. The breakthrough journey (he’s never visited the continent before) almost didn’t happen, though. Since Lil Wayne was sprung from Rikers Island last month, the MC has been back at work, recording music, shooting material for the next “Nino Brown” DVD and readying a video for the next track from I Am Not a Human Being. And that means Scoob has been busy documenting the process — around the clock. “We’ve been working nonstop on our personal endeavors and projects, and it’s a situation where it’s bigger than life right now as far as my work goes,” Scoob explained. “I was at a crossroads deciding if I was gonna go to Africa or was I gonna stay. So I had a conversation with Tunechi, and Tunechi understood that I’m going away for a couple of days, but when I get back we’re gonna be full up and running, picking up wherever we left off. And when I get back, just to put things in perspective, when I get back, we’re gonna shoot a professional video for ‘Bill Gates’ and it’s gonna be historic.” During his trip, Scoob plans turn the camera around on himself and shoot scenes from the events. “I always wanted to go and it’s one of those places you always wanna go,” he said. “But it’s so, and excuse my language, it’s so f—ing awesome that I get to go and I am getting paid to go and I’m doing what I love to do. So it’s like it’s a bonus. And I’m kind of scoping the scene ’cause a lot of people that I work with always wanted to go but were scared to take that trip. So I’m actually gonna scope it out and make sure that it’s good and everything. It’s going to be a frequent opportunity for all of my clients and partners as far as this business goes.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines . ‘Harry Potter’ Outflies ‘Tangled’ At Thanksgiving Weekend Box Office

‘Deathly Hallows, Part 1’ continues to enchant moviegoers. By Josh Wigler Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” Photo: Warner Bros. As people across the country recover from their Thanksgiving turkey comas, it’s clear that moviegoers remained energetic throughout the five-day holiday box-office weekend. Thanks to the combined efforts of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” and “Tangled,” this past weekend was the second-highest-grossing Thanksgiving period on record, second only to last year when “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “The Blind Side” battled it out. “Harry Potter” led the charge, soaring away from the five-day weekend with $76.3 million in its pocket, $50.4 million of which was made during the standard Friday-through-Sunday timeframe. The seventh installment in the beloved novel-turned-film series has earned $220.4 million after two weekends in theaters, an impressive result that’s bound to get shattered when the second half of “Deathly Hallows” arrives next summer. But Harry, Ron and Hermione didn’t earn first place without a fight, as Disney’s “Tangled” provided some stiff competition. Both movies targeted similar family-friendly crowds, and while “Harry Potter” won in the end, it was a close race. “Tangled” ended its five-day debut with $69 million, less than $10 million behind “Harry.” It was even closer when examining the standard three-day totals of each film, where “Potter” outpaced “Tangled” by less than $1 million. Of course, it can’t be ignored that “Tangled” debuted in almost 2,500 3-D locations — meaning higher ticket prices — while Warner Bros. opted to skip 3-D altogether for the first “Deathly Hallows” installment. “Tangled” performed the best of the weekend’s new releases, with Cher and Christina Aguilera’s “Burlesque” coming in a distant second with a $17.2 million fourth-place finish. Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway’s “Love & Other Drugs” and Dwayne Johnson’s “Faster” fell flat, arriving in sixth and seventh place with $14 million and $12.2 million respectively over the five-day holiday weekend. The Box-Office Top Five #1 “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” ($76.3 million) #2 “Tangled” ($69 million) #3 “Megamind” ($17.6 million) #4 “Burlesque” ($17.2 million) #5 “Unstoppable” ($16.2 million) Upcoming Releases “The Warrior’s Way” kicks its way into the box-office arena next weekend, while director Darren Aronofsky and actress Natalie Portman’s “Black Swan” dances in limited release. Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1,” “Tangled” and “Megamind.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Rihanna And Kanye West Talk Children, Fashion, Music In Interview

‘I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids,’ RiRi admits to West in the magazine. By Kyle Anderson Rihanna on the cover of the December/January issue of Interview Photo: Interview It is difficult enough getting superstars like Kanye West and Rihanna to sit still long enough individually for a conversation, but Interview magazine has managed to get them both together at the same time (though not on the same continent). The periodical — which pairs up famous names for chats about their work — has devoted the cover of its December/January issue to Rihanna, and features an interview with the singer conducted by West. A number of topics are explored in the lengthy, revealing conversation, which was conducted over the phone a few weeks ago while West was in a London studio working on his forthcoming album Watch the Throne — a full-length collaboration with fellow superstar Jay-Z — and Rihanna was between rehearsals for her appearance on “Saturday Night Live.” They chat about fashion (Rihanna is “over the whole structured clothing, overly shoulder-padded sh–“), sexuality (“How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?” West asks) and lyrics (“I think a lot of people have a misperception of me,” Rihanna says. “They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. But every woman is vulnerable.”). They also discuss Rihanna’s work on the upcoming film “Battleship” (she drank a lot of Red Bull because the schedule was so grueling) and the possibility of whether or not she would ever step away from music to focus on film full time the way Justin Timberlake has. “I didn’t know if I was going to like [making movies] or hate it or love it,” she admits. “But I actually enjoy it and it’s something that I’m looking forward to in the future. But I’ll never shut off from music and just do film. I love music too much.” In addition to talking about work, West also dives into some personal issues. Rihanna admits that she is torn about having children. “That depends on a lot of other s—,” she says. “I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now.” Of course, it wouldn’t be a conversation with West if there wasn’t a little bit of self-promotion. At the top of the interview, he tells Rihanna that Watch the Throne is “going to be very dark and sexy — like very couture hip-hop. Because since me and Jay have already had big records and over-the-top joints, we’re just going to make some real dirty, f—ed-up, hardcore stuff. But it’s also luxe and definitely high-class.” Related Videos MTV News Extended Play: Rihanna MTV News Extended Play: Kanye West Related Artists Rihanna Kanye West

Brangelina Goes AWOL on Thanksgiving

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did their thing on Thanksgiving. What that was, we have absolutely no idea, but it appears their kinds hung out on the beach for the holiday Angelina loathes, parents nowhere in sight. Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Knox and Vivienne were all spotted at the beach , accompanied by their nannies on Thanksgiving. No sign of Ange or of Brad Pitt. REWRITING HISTORY : Brangelina will have none of it . Pitt did comment earlier that the family would be overseas, but did not mention specific plans. Likely because Angelina Jolie hates Thanksgiving . “Angelina Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like many other Americans,” a source said of her perception of the day. “To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style at all.” Apparently she put her money where her mouth is, at least.

Psychic Powers Proved Real

Psychology Today recently published an article called “Have Scientists Finally Discovered Evidence for Psychic Phenomena?!” an unfortunately minor exegesis regarding the large amount of “psychic” data that has appeared recently in peer-reviewed publications. The article highlights Dr. Daryl Bem's research into “seeing into the future” and “retrograde priming study” which appropriately echoes Dr. Rupert Sheldrake’s work for the last few decades (morphogenetic field theory). Regarding telepathy, Sheldrake has said, “I think all social animals have such fields…I think it’s a normal means of communication…I don’t think it’s paranormal, I think it’s normal. I don’t think it’s supernatural, I think it’s natural. I think it’s essentially a form of animal communication within groups.” We all know the feeling of falling in love with an individual or being close with a friend or family member or group; and when separated from each other we find each other thinking or feeling the exact same thing. How many times have you answered the phone and exclaimed, “I was just thinking of you—hard!” This “entangled minds” phenomena is the basis of one of Dr. Dean Radin’s book of the same title. Rumors of psychic abilities have steadily been bleeding in from the fringes and into the mainstream culture for the past century. From Princeton’s Engineering Anomalies Research laboratories, to government funded remote viewing projects at Stamford Research Institute, to the models of Campbell, Sheldrake, Wolf, and Radin to name a few, science (“the religion of the west”) is under pressure, now more than ever, to address the problem of consciousness—the measurer of all measurements. more at link… Through the rigorous program of Remote Viewing, it is possible for an individual to tap into the extra-sensory powers of the brain. Obviously, throughout history, individuals have had more natural proclivity for these abilities just as some are more athletic, smarter, etc., that we call psychic. I know the potential for telepathy and Star Wars force-like ability is inherent in our brains. We're just too busy building computers and robots supplanting our minds, instead of striving for the limits of our potential and making that quantum leap of faith towards a new Renaissance for humanity. added by: rodstradamus
