While the rest of us were ringing in the New Year, Paola Mayfield welcomed her first child . Though she’s admitted to feeling the baby blues , the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star is loving her post-baby bod. As you can see below, she’s flaunting her fabulous new curves. In the .gifs you’re about to see, Paola is wearing a simple black bra and matching underwear. Using her phone and a mirror, she struts her stuff in in the bathroom to show off her new figure. “I can’t believe my body birthed a baby almost a month ago,” Paola marvels. She admits that she has a ways to go, writing: “I’m still healing inside and out.” “No matter how crazy my body has changed,” she says. “I just love the fact that I’m a mom of an amazing son!” She looks great! Pao does admit that there’s one huge part of her lifestyle that has changed. “I really miss working out,” she admits. “But at this point,” Paola affirms. “My priorities are Axel.” Of course! He’s her baby boy. “And,” she continues, she is workign on “completely healing my body.” Pao recognizes that her figure is very different from the abtastic body that she has shown in the past. “There’s nothing wrong with big boobs and a big butt,” she points out. Paola even notes that, from a cultural standpoint, she does not feel motivated to be thin. “I’m Latina,” she writes. “And don’t like to be skinny!” “Honestly,” Pao continues. “I’m loving my curves!” “I like big butts and I cannot lie,” she jokes, referring to the old, famous song by Sir Mix-a-Lot. “Anyways!” Paola writes near the end. “Don’t forget to check my fitness website.” She includes a non-hyperlink web address, writing: “www.superpaofit.com” Paola tells her fans and followers that they can go to said site “for workout programs and meal recommendations!” “Link in on my profile,” she concludes. Pao may be sporting some curves now, but she knows a ton about fitness, body sculpting, and building muscle. We’re sure that some of her followers will check it out. Some might accuse Pao of focusing more on her figure than on her infant son. One, she’s a fitness model. Her looks are part of her job. Two, that’s super dumb and she’s obviously not doing that. Baby Axel is the prize, as she affirms in her captions. Her outrageous new curves are just a bonus. To be fair, Paola has always had an unstoppable booty. This was true long before her pregnancy. But it is perfectly natural for the human body to change with time. This is especially true after someone goes through a process as intense and physically traumatic as a nine-month pregnancy and childbirth. Right now, she’s focused on cherishing baby Axel. If she so chooses, she doesn’t ever have to work her body back into its own shape. That said, we have no doubt that Pao will soon find herself workout out once she is done healing and has the time. Chicago police believe they have found the two men who assaulted Empire star Jussie Smollett early Tuesday morning. The 35-year old was targeted in a clear hate crime this week by two black-clad, masked men in Chicago’s Streeterville section near his home; they broke his rib, tied a rope around his neck and poured bleach all over him. Smollett was treated at Northwestern Hospital and remains in stable condition. He told authorities that the men screamed something about “MAGA country” during the assault, a reference to Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan. Now, the cops have released a statement to accompany a couple photos they took off surveillance videos in the area. The photos depict two men walking on New Street near the intersection with E. Illinois Street between 1:30 AM and 1:45 AM on Tuesday. They’re approximately a block from the Subway restaurant Smollet had gone to Tuesday morning, roughly halfway between the restaurant and Jussie’s home. “Photos of people of interest who were in area of the alleged assault & battery of Empire cast member,” Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted on Wednesday night. “While video does not capture an encounter, detectives are taking this development seriously & wish to question individuals as more cameras are being reviewed.” The images here are not very clear, of course. They were snapped from a distance and the suspects are not looking at the camera. Still, however, it’s a break in the case and technology can be used to enhance the images. “Given the severity of the allegations, we are taking this investigation very seriously and treating it as a possible hate crime,” the Chicago police said in a statement after the alleged attack. “Detectives are currently working to gather video, identify potential witnesses and establish an investigative timeline.” Smollet’s manager, Brandon Z. Moore, told police he was on the phone with Jussie during the alleged attack. He told cops that he clearly heard the MAGA remark, as well as other racial and homophobic slurs. (Smollett gave out as gay in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2015.) Smollett himself has not yet commented in public about the incident. However, we know he received a death threat in the mail eight days before the attack. Guglielmi previously said police had widened their search of surveillance cameras in the area surrounding the site of the alleged attack. He has described what authorities believe transpired as follows: The victim goes to Subway just after midnight and on his way back, he was attacked by two men. They were masked and wearing black clothing. They called him an Empire … and they used a homophobic slur. They also used the N-word. They proceed to assault him, and they throw a chemical on him that may have been bleach, and put a rope around neck. Guglielmi added that the actor returned to his apartment afterward and called his manager, who quickly made his way to Smollett’s home before taking him to the hospital. “The manager goes to the apartment, and they agree to call police. The manager called us at 2:40 a.m.,” Guglielmi added. Kevin Hart got slammed for doing so . Two co-stars have now spoken out as well. “Jussie’s anger will dissipate, and he will forgive these people for what they did,” Terrence Howard says. “But he won’t, and we cannot, forget their actions. They have to be forgiven because it was done out of ignorance.” He added: “Jussie’s the one that starts singing when everybody’s in a bad mood. He’s the one that cheers everybody up. He’s the one that does all the Instagrams if he catches you sleeping…. “Today, no one was caught sleeping. No one even took time to close their eyes and nap. “They were all in shock that our family—you know, the Fox family, the Empire family, the Lyon family—you know, were attacked by a bunch of hyenas today.” And then there’s this from Taraji P. Henson, who plays Smollet’s mother on Empire: I wish what happened to my baby was just one big bad joke but it wasn’t and we all feel his pain right now. @jussiesmollett is pure love to the bone AND THAT IS WHY SO MANY ARE FEELING HIS PAIN BECAUSE IT IS OUR PAIN!!! I tell you one thing HATE WILL NOT WIN!!!! My baby is resilient and love still lives in him. Despite not having a host, the 91st annual Academy Awards rolled out their nominations on Tuesday morning with Black Panther , Roma , The Favourite and A Star Is Born leading the pack. Black Panther , the Marvel movie that became a cultural phenomenon is up for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture which is the first Best Picture nod for any movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A Star Is Born is up for the night’s three biggest categories in Best Picture, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper) and Best Actress (Lady Gaga).
