But don’t get too jealous, doctors say it’s temporary! “Chen” from Xiamen, China knew something was wrong when she woke up and couldn’t hear her boyfriend’s voice, Newsweek reported. The woman reportedly heard ringing in her ears and vomited and an ear, nose and throat specialist at Qianpu Hospital told Ms. Chen that she had a form of low-frequency hearing loss known as reverse-slope hearing loss. This meant she was unable to hear lower-frequency sounds, including the average male voice. Dr. Lin Xiaoqing, a woman doctor who treated Ms Chen, said the patient was able to hear her when she spoke but couldn’t hear a male patient. “She couldn’t hear him at all,” said Dr. Xiaoqing, according to MailOnline. As well as struggling to hear low-frequency voices, those with the condition can find it tough to make out voices on the phone, as well as noises like the hum of the fridge or thunder. This can put sufferers in danger, as they may not hear noises like oncoming cars. Yikes! Although rare, Doctors believe the condition was brought on by stress. Around 3,000 people in North America are affected by the same condition. Dr. Xiaoqing said Ms. Chen is expected to make a full recovery with some rest according to her doctor.
It was the end of the line for Danielle Staub on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Margaret Josephs who has long advocated for Danielle to be part of the group decided enough was enough, and that their friendship was at breaking point. Instead of getting into another altercation, Margaret opted to send a text to end her friendship with the former series regular, effectively cutting her out of the action. “She’s wacko,” Margaret complained to her co-stars, before going on to reveal how the text exchange played out, and it was as ugly as you would expect. “I wish you a happy life. Never speak to me again,” Margaret said to Melissa Gorga and show newcomer Jackie Goldschneider as she skimmed her phone for the damning messages. “I can’t believe you’re this person, shame on you,” Danielle fired back before going on to wish Margaret a happy mother’s day. While that final act sounds like Danielle’s way of being nice, it was not. If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , you know that Margaret hasn’t had the best relationship with her kids. She has been vocal about the breakdown of her previous marriage leading to a decline in communication between her and her ex-husband’s children. It was a typical Danielle move, but at least Margaret was wise enough to let the snake down gently by SMS. Hell, Danielle was out for blood on last week’s installment when the two Joe’s got talking about her intentions with her then-husband. “I didn’t answer. We’re done. We’re never having this fight again,” Margaret said to the women after spilling the beans. “Denial is a real thing, and she f***ing is Cleopatra,” she said with a smirk. As for the other relationship that was on the rocks, that was Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider. Giudice was ready for a war of words. That’s what happens when you bring her family into your petty squabbles, Jackie. “I’m definitely not intimidated by Teresa. I just hope it’s not another scream-fest,” Jackie fretted before a one-on-one meeting with her nemesis. “What you did to me is not excusable,” said Jackie of their previous bust-up, adding: “I don’t get spoken to like that; I’m a grown woman, I have a lot of self-respect … I was like, ‘What the f***?'” “Listen, you came at me first,” Teresa shot back. But Jackie went on to imply that she and Teresa had something in common. Her father was in jail, and her mother was under house arrest. “We used to laugh about it,” Jackie said, clearly trying to make light of the situation. “I’m living it right now,” Teresa said. “My kids live with it every day. And it really hurts them that their father is not here.” “I did not mean to hurt you, and for that I am sorry,” Jackie ultimately said, with Teresa accepting. “Believe me, I’ve gotten more Namaste – I used to be a little bit crazier. So that was calm for me when I’m p***ed,” Teresa said to close off the argument. While Margaret was washing her hands of Danielle, she didn’t realize she was gearing up for another big fight. Teresa later told the ladies that Jennifer Aydin’s brother and his soon-to-be wife “knew each other for two weeks and now they’re getting engaged.” “Ok, that’s a little crazy,” Margaret said laughing. Teresa said it’s part of the culture and that “they don’t sleep with each other and you get to know them when you marry them,'” “What happens if he was a dud? That’s a life of torture,” continued Margaret, adding: “Oh come on, he met her in Turkey? She could be mail order.” SHOT. FIRED. Mason is accused of threatening to kill the father of Joycelyn Savage, one of the women featured in “Surviving R. Kelly.” According to CNN , the warrant was issued over the summer. When CNN called Mason Wednesday, he said he had “no comment” and referred additional questions to his attorney. In an incident report obtained by the network, Timothy Savage stated that Mason said, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f***ing kill you.” The case was presented to a Magistrate Judge who issued a warrant in July, citing “terroristic threats and acts.” The warrant is assigned to the sheriff’s office. Joycelyn Savage’s family has claimed she is having a sexual relationship with Kelly, and that she is being manipulated by him into cutting off contact with the outside world. Her father says they haven’t heard from her in about two years. She responded to this claim in a video released in 2017 on TMZ, in which she denied she’s being held and that she had been brainwashed by the Grammy-award winning singer. “I just want everybody to know — my parents and everybody in the world — that I’m totally fine. In this first clip from the season premiere, however, a different problem arises for the suitors: Someone keeps stealing Underway away… from them! “So, I was just talking to Colton. So, that was great, but I got interrupted… by what's her name,” Tahzjuan says in this clip, which debuted on Entertainment Tonight and which features many contestants at the opening night cocktail party. “Catherine interrupted you?” asks Onyeka, instantly aware of who Tahzjuan was talking about because she suffered the same fate at the hands of this competitor. “I walked away, and he said, 'Fourth time's the charm?'” Tahzjuan replied. “Four times? Everyone should get a chance to talk to him. Everyone! And I told her that,” Onyeka says, before saying even more in a confessional. “What the hell! I can't believe she stole Colton again. I thought we had a great conversation, we hugged it out afterwards and everything,” she tells the camera, adding: “But obviously she doesn't care at all.” It sure sounds like ABC is setting up Catherine to be the season's first villain, huh? At the beginning of this sneak peek clip, Fernanda Flores asks her castmate Jay what the actual hell he was thinking. “It was just a mistake,” Jay protests. It would have to be a series of coincidences worthy of Final Destination for Jay to accidentally cheat on Ashley. Still, Jay insists: “I wasn't going to have no one come over to the house.” Fernanda points out: “You'd just married the person whom you're supposed to love.” “Right,” Ashley chimes in. “So what happens when you're at your ‘seven-year itch,' when you're having trouble. Then what do you do?” Cheat, most likely. Most don't cheat during the honeymoon phase, however. Jay is rare in that regard. “If this is what you do three days after you got married, what do you do when you actually are having troubles in your marriage?” Ashley asks. “Because as far as I was concerned,” Ashley states. “We weren't having any issues.” If Jay were to say that he was trying to sabotage his relationship because he'd gotten cold feet … it would be something. It souldn't be an excuse, but it would at least have been an explanation. Jay instead continues to act as if he made a simple mistake, like forgetting a birthday. “It was just a misunderstanding,” Jay insists. Right. From what Jay says here, it sounds like he was perfectly happy with Ashley. “And I wish I could go back and fix it,” he expresses. “I would do any f–king thing just to fix it,” Jay claims. Ashley is, understandably, not feeling sympathetic. “You f—ked up. Take it on the chin. Simple,” Ashley says. She concludes: “Just don't even try to defend yourself because you sound like an idiot.” Jay then tries to blame Ashley spending time on her phone, and laments that he hadn't realized that women would be sending him irresistible messages. Unbelievably, Jay still isn't done trying to defend himself. In the process, he utters one of 90 Day Fiance 's funniest lines, ever. “Listen,” Jay insists. “It said, ‘Tinder, meet friends.'” That is . . . objectively funny, though we absolutely understand why Ashley was less entertained. Jay continues: “I never knew that people were going to message me.” Ashley doesn't have time for that. “You're full of s–t,” Ashley tells him. “You knew exactly what Tinder was.” We are very much inclined to agree. Not only is Tinder not exclusive to the United States, but Jay had been in America for months at this point. He knew what he was doing. He's just sorry that he got caught. But hey, that's more than we can say for Colt Johnson.

While two of the judges were re-elected to their positions, the other 17 have been sworn in today . The even better part? All 17 brand new judges in the Harris County courts have over 200 years of experience between them. Fellow judge Angela Graves-Harrington said, “I also wanted to serve as an inspiration for all those people who wondered if they could. Yes you can.” Hughes added that her first focus is those who are already behind bars, in jail because they’re unable to pay bail or get an attorney. “Most of the offenses are low-level offenses and we’ve done research. As previously reported Massey was subjected to racial profiling by two employees at a Portland, Oregon Doubletree for talking on the phone to his mother in the lobby. Jermaine posted a video of the incident on Instagram and said a man named Luis told him he was a “safety threat” to other guests and accused him of trespassing. The Portland Doubletree has since apologized to Jermaine…. We sincerely apologize to Mr. Massey for his treatment this past weekend, and deeply regret the experience he endured. It was unacceptable and contrary to our values, beliefs and how we seek to treat all people who visit our hotel.
