He’s taking over the role from Anders Holm, who starred in the original pilot. The “Black-ish” spinoff focuses on the experience of Tracee Ellis Ross’s character, Bow,” growing up in a mixed-race family in the ‘80s. Gosselaar joins a cast that includes Arica Himmel as Bow Johnson, Tika Sumpter as Alicia Johnson, Christina Anthony as Denise, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Santamonica Johnson and Ethan Childress as Johan Johnson. The series will mark the second spinoff show to join the “Black-ish” universe after “Grown-ish,” which was recently renewed for a third season at Freeform. It’s scheduled to premiere in the fall. The past is about to come back and haunt Jordyn Woods. But at least she knows that it’s coming. In a new trailer for the two-part Keeping Up with the Kardashians season finale, viewers get to see Khloe Kardashian and her family react to the news that rocked their world several months ago. Yes, Woods really did make out with Tristan Thompson after a gathering at the basketball player’s house earlier this year. This scandalous incident happened long while back, of course, but episodes are filmed way in advance of when they air — which means Woods will once again be thrust into the national spotlight this Sunday night. Here’s a look at what’s to come: Keeping Up With The Kardashians Sneak Peek: Tristan Cheated With Jordyn! In a scene that totally happened naturally and which wasn’t at all staged, Kim answers the phone during a confessional featured in the footage above and asks: “What’s going on?” “Tristan and Jordyn were all over each other last night,” we hear in a voiceover. We also get glimpses of Khloe crying in bed, her universe simply collapsing all around her after discovering that Tristan has cheated on her. AGAIN. How does Woods feel about her most salacious act being brought up once again? She has no real choice at this point but to be as relaxed and profound about it as possible. “Everyone has their truth and their story, so you just go with it. Everyone has the right to speak their truth,” she told Entertainment Tonight this week about the impending finale, adding: “Life moves on. Money doesn’t stop. The world doesn’t stop. And hopefully, everyone is just, you know, going forward.” Woods, who has been best friends with Kylie Jenner for years, has admitted to kissing Thompson back when he was still dating Khloe. She has strongly denied, however, that she slept with Tristan or that she initiated the contact between their tongues. “Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him,” Jordyn told Jada Pinkett Smith in response to the scandal during an appearance on her Facebook Live show this spring. “We’re all together, in a group, never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight,” she explained of what transpired. Woods did confess at the time to sitting on the arm of a chair Tristan was sitting on and draping her legs over has at one point. “If you’re looking for a story, I can understand why that would be the story,” she said. “We all were just dancing and having fun … but never anything intimate.” But, again, Woods confessed to locking lips with the highly paid NBA role player. Angry at the time, Khloe, wasn’t buying any of it, Tweeting: “Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. “BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” She later took back this last comment and placed all the blame for her family breaking up on Tristan himself. Where it belongs. Which is not to say that Woods didn’t eff up as well. Source: WENN / WENN Nas And Will Smith Invest In A New App Geared Toward Teens Will Smith and Nas are among the initial investors in a new app that aims to teach teenagers financial literacy. Step, the start-up company, is developing an app that will give young adults access to bank accounts with no minimum balance, no fees, and advice on how to manage the money inside of it. The app will also integrate with Apple Pay and other online money-moving apps, along with giving parents the option to monitor the account while setting limits and guidelines. Step CEO and co-founder CJ MacDonald explained why this app is so necessary, saying, “Schools don’t teach kids about money. We want to be their first bank accounts with spending cards, but we also want to teach financial literacy and responsibility.” He continued, “Banks don’t tailor to this, and we want to be a solution teaching the next generation of adults to be more responsible with money in the cashless era. It was easy with cash to go to the mall but now everyone is using their phone for Uber and more.” Mastercard’s Sherri Haymond praised the new idea in a press release, also noting how it would incorporate new avenues of financial literacy to account for changes in the way that people access their money–like the aforementioned Apple Pay and other similar technology. “Today’s young people are digitally savvy, having grown up with technology as a mainstay in their day-to-day lives. As a result, we also need to ensure that they become familiar with the unique aspects of digital payments including providing education about the various finance and payment products available,” Haymond said. “Step has taken a thoughtful approach to developing an offering for teens and families that provides that first step in educating and acclimating today’s youth to help them gain confidence and awareness around their finances.” Both Nas and Will Smith know first hand how important it is to get your children equipped with the right tools early, and that’s exactly what this app aims to do.

Khloe Kardashian would like to make something very clear. You wanna drag Tristan Thompson’s name through the mud? Go right ahead. That guy is a cheater and a liar and a total loser who only has an NBA title because he played with LeBron James. But the name she has worked so hard to keep clean and admirable? Don’t you dare dully it, Internet users! Khloe has felt a need to speak out in her own defense after reports surfaced that alleged she started dating Thompson back in the summer of 2016 — when he was still with then-girlfriend Jordan Craig. Moreover, when Craig was pregnant with his first kid. According to court documents Craig filed this past November (as part of her child support battle against Thompsin), the Instagram model wrote that Thompson and Kardashian got together when she was still involved with the basketball player. “Their relationship went viral and everything took a turn for the worst,” Jordan recalls in these legal papers, adding: “Every day, several articles were published worldwide mocking my new unfortunate reality… my pregnancy would now become one of the most popular gossip headlines.” Craig never refers here to Khloe by name… but come on, right? (Plus, photos were published in August of 2016 of Khloe and Tristan on vacation.) Under fire for her supposed role in Thompson and Craig’s split, Kardashian fired back last night on her Instagram Story. “I’m disappointed that I even feel the need to post this but… I need to say my truth. Take it as you will,” she started, prior to delving into a lengthy explanation. “My truth is: I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. “A mutual friend set us up. After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant. Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship.” Craig, for the record, gave birth to a son named Prince in December 2016. She has stated that Thompson is a deadbeat father to this two-year old . Kardashian goes on to say that the power forward “pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met.” And, let’s face it, Thompson is clearly prone to lying about sex and love and romances and basically everything, as Khloe herself sadly knows well. “He had me talk with his most inner circle,” she writes. “He showed me physical poof [sic] (correspondence between the two) and had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point. His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met.” ( Note to Khloe : If a guy has you on the phone with his attorney to try and prove something about his love life, maybe you ought to take that as a weird warning sign next time and just move on.) “This is my truth!” Khloe continued. “The truth that I believed and trusted. If for any reason this is NOT in fact the truth, I am so completely and utterly sorry that TRISTAN and his inner circle would lie on something like this!” We probably do believe Khloe here. She has no history of getting between a man and his girlfriend and, to reiterate, Tristan Thompson is a known liar all around. “I pray my truth is in fact that,” the reality star says. “Lord knows I pray but now, I really don’t know what to believe. “Truthfully, from the deepest parts of my soul, I am sorry! I’m sorry for any pain that has been created either way. No woman deserves to go through anything like this!” In conclusion? This is MY TRUTH. The rest of the group is on a swamp tour and all the fun touristy tings. It’s all good until Rasheeda confronts Kirk about not telling her that he has been texting with Jasmine (Rasheeda found out by just so happening to see the texts in his phone). Initially, his daughter was the go-between, between Kirk and Jasmine but she got tired of that, because it’s obviously exhausting and sometimes inconvenient, so Kirk ended up communicating with Jasmine directly without telling Rasheeda. Rasheeda is pissed because, obvious trust issues, but Kirk actually gives her a sensical explanation, which is that it just makes sense to deal with Jasmine directly and not ad middle man when it comes to their son. That doesn’t excuse him not being honest, but he has long been not honest at times, so… Later on, Rasheeda decides not to deal with it on the trip and wait until they get home, but this has become a thing. She complains about it to the Bam, Mimi, and Shekinah. They support their girl and tell her to open a line of communication with Jasmine. We’ll see what happens with that when they get back to Atlanta. Let’s fast forward a bit. Spice links with socca legends, Machel Montano and Destra, in preparation of Machel Mondays. This is the non-drama portion of the program where Machel tells Spice how much he loves her natural beauty. This is all because Spice is conflicted about whether she should sing “Black Hypocrisy” or not. We don’t know whether she’s going to sing the song or not but Machel’s pep seems to be motivation for a good show. The other ladies have a beach day, and the whole, “Did Karlie have a threesome with Hiriam and Pooh or not” situation comes up…again. Mimi fans the flames by mentioning that the story has mysteriously leaked to #TheBlogs, but no one knows who leaked it. Then, Karlie suggests taking a lie detector test. We’ll have to wait until another episode for that drama, but at least they didn’t attempt to brawl this time. Back in the A, Che Mack is back talking to made Man. She has been nursing him back to health since he got shot but she still hasn’t forgiven him for cheating (even though he denies it). She moved out and got her own place but Made Man wants her to come back home. She loves him and all, but she can’t trust him so that’s not going to help him. Back in Trinidad, the group turns up at Machel Monday. Spice, who is dubbed the Queen of Dancehall, does her thing in a spirited opening number with backing from Destra, the Queen of Bacchanal. A good time was had by all. But it’s back to reality next week!
