Earlier today, we reported that Amanda Bynes has refused to return to her parents’ home , even though many within the actress’ inner circle believe doing so might save her life. Given her recent troubles, and how she previously recovered over the past year while under a conservatorship headed by her parents, this seemed like a no-brainer. Well, not as she sees it. And she’s revealed on Twitter the shocking reason why. Friday night on Hawaii Five-0 Season 5 Episode 2 , we knew Danny’s brother Matt would play a major role. The big question was how, and why. After apparently breaking into Danny’s home, Marco has been taken into custody, where he Danny that his brother, Matt, owes him over $18 million. Danny informs Marco that it has been at least three years since he saw or spoke to his brother and does not know a thing about any of the cash. Not pleased with this answer one bit, Marco tells him that he had better find the money and pay him back, or else. Or else what? Danny is unfazed. At least on the surface. He throws him in jail. That’s only a quick fix, unfortunately, as Marco gets sprung faster than Danny would have hoped, that’s for sure, and the two confront each other again. As he’s leaving the station, he tells Danny that he refuses to leave until he gets paid … and oh yeah, he has Matt. So that’s a pretty big twist there. William Mapother was terrific and is a big reason to watch Hawaii Five-0 online this week, as who doesn’t love a mini- Lost reunion in Hawaii, right? Meanwhile, Jerry was digging into the book store that he believed to be a front for a money laundering operation, which could make for a big arc, too.
Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 1 premiered last night on WE tv, and given the intense tabloid scrutiny of her marriage, we basically knew the plot going in. That didn’t make it any less fascinating to watch play out, however. Somewhat uniquely, even nowadays, the background leading up to Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 1 was vital to the experience as the installment itself. So what’s the verdict on the actual season premiere? You’ll have to watch Kendra on Top online to draw your own conclusion, but here’s our take: We begin with Jessica Hall, Kendra’s Playboy model best friend, arriving at Wilkinson’s house to console her. Boy, did she need a friend right then. One of the most striking scenes of the night happens right away as Kendra is shown bawling and collapsing, literally, into the arms of Jessica. Did they stage that? Possibly, to get Jessica in there and because it’s powerful. But to fake that kind of raw pain and emotion seems hard to believe. Hall asks if she ever suspected anything, and Wilkinson admits she’s never been the type to keep tabs on Hank Baskett. Why would she need to? We then flash back to five weeks before she was blindsided with the Ava London bombshell, with the duo preparing for baby girl Alijah’s arrival. She jokes about Hank not being over her after six years and two kids. His reply? “Babe, we could be together 20 years and I still wouldn’t be over you.” Wow. From the looks of this, the lovebirds were filming a fairly generic Kendra on Top season and then the scandal to end all scandals happened. Ava London: Hank Baskett’s (Alleged) Mistress 1. Detractors will say all of this scripted, but if you’re talking about her confessionals and interviews, of course it is. But it really looks like he cheated. If this were all fabricated, Wilkinson is a much better actor than we ever thought. You can hear the pain in her voice as she wonders if she was at fault. “Was he not attracted to me because I was pregnant? What did I do wrong?” she asked at one point, having been knocked up while Hank cheated . Then there’s the wedding ring situation. As teased in previews, Wilkinson tells Jessica Hall that she flushed them down the toilet, but we don’t see it. Producers say they learned about this after it happened, that only Kendra and Hank were present for it and that he begged her not to, but alas. Long story short, we see a picture of family in full-on crisis mode. Celebrity or not, you have to feel for Kendra, given how she clearly loves her husband and because this was no ordinary fling she found out about. To reiterate: Hank was sneaking around with a transsexual model, who has gone public about their mutual hand job session, then tried to pay her off. How do you even react to that? When you have a four-year-old and a newborn baby no less? Kendra didn’t have the answer, and it’s hard to watch. At the end of the episode, she spills a bottle of breastmilk and struggles to pump more, agitated, stressed and even scared as the phone starts ringing. Whatever editing and scripting went into this, Kendra on Top is letting us in on the aftermath of a cheating scandal and a marriage on the ropes. Tank Arrested After Routine Traffic Stop Tank is cooling his heels in an LA jail this evening. Apparently the R&B crooner got pulled over for some vehicular chitchatter, but his refusal to cooperate with the LAPD got him cuffed and booked. Via TMZ : R&B singer Tank got busted using his phone while driving … and ended up getting arrested for the way he dealt with the cops … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us Tank was in the Van Nuys area of L.A. when officers spotted him behind the wheel, and on his phone — a major no-no in Cali. We’re told things went south during the stop when officers asked Tank for his drivers license. He allegedly refused to hand it over … so he was arrested for failure to obey an officer. He’s still in custody. Damn, man. Why doesn’t anyone in LA ever want to hand over that ID ?
We were kinda wondering how the hell Adele Givens had room to talk about Sheryl Underwood… Adele Givens Says Sheryl Underwood Lied About Queens Of Comedy Conference Call Now Adele says that call never took place and the creator of “Queens of Comedy” says Underwood was never up for the job! According to Humor Mill Magazine: Last week Thursday during their ‘deepest, darkest secrets week’ where each host of The Talk delivers a dark secret, comedian and host Sheryl Underwood revealed something that she stated she never spoke aloud publicly; Underwood revealed that back in the 1990′s, she was up for a part on The Queens of Comedy tour, ( Walter Latham’s female spin-off of The Kings of Comedy ) and she stated before she had a chance to accept the role, she overheard three stars of the show talking trash about her on a conference call. Underwood said Laura Hayes, Adele Givens and Sommore were trash talking her comedic abilities, her appearance and more without realizing she was on the line listening. Underwood stated she later called show creator Latham and told him she didn’t think the part would be the right fit for her. Underwood even stated that she has worked with Hayes and Givens since the incident, but up until now, the three women did not know that she overheard the phone call. After revealing her secret, Underwood insisted that she’s not angry or upset at her peers over the phone call that she happened upon 20 years ago. “I decided instead of being angry and vengeful, I took the truth and made myself even better,” she said. At that time, Laura Hayes, Adele Givens and Sommore hadn’t commented on Underwood’s story, until now. We just had a conversation with Givens about the interview because this morning on The Rickey Smiley Show , Givens was on the show disputing what had happened, and Walter Latham released a statement that was read on air by Smiley. According to the statement read by Latham, Underwood was never even invited by him to become part of the show. According to Givens, Underwood’s statement is a “blatant lie” and as a matter of fact “the conversation never happened because we were never on a conference call together discussing Sheryl”. This powerful statement was followed by Givens revealing to us that she is in the process of seeking legal representation because she has plans to sue Underwood, CBS and The Talk for defamation of character and anything else that her legal team would advise to her that would apply.
