Rebel Wilson Bashes the Kardashians: What Did She Say?

At this point, most would agree that the Kardashians didn’t rise to fame because of talent (see: “Jam: Turn It Up” ).   We didn’t, however, expect Rebel Wilson to turn down an appearance with Kylie and Kendall Jenner because of it.  Actually, we did.  And we love it. “I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the recent VMAs but I said ‘no, I’d rather do it by myself,'” Wilson told Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O, according to Yahoo! News . “It’s not that I hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for. And they’re not famous for talent. I worked really hard to get where I’ve gotten to. “I think I was going to dress up as Kim K if I was going to [present with Kendall and Kylie at the VMAs].” Wilson explained that the family wasn’t really “about talent,” save for a home video and a reality show based on their already-privileged lives. “I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard,” Rebel said. “Fame is a tricky one. If you’re Amy Winehouse and famous for writing great songs, that’s great, but it blows my mind that so many people engage with someone like Kim Kardashian.” Wilson would be totally fine with the Kardashians – any of them/all of them – going back under the rock from whence they came. “She’s got nothing to say, no opinions on anything,” Wilson concluded.  “I’d hate teenagers to think that’s the way to be happy because it’s not – it’s fake.” Point: Wilson. This just in: Not everyone in Hollywood only prays God of money and fame. Some stars are actually very religious. They take their faith very seriously. Do any of the following names come as a surprise? These are some of the more religious actors, actresses and singers in the entertainment industry… 1. Julia Roberts Julia Roberts is on record as saying she and her family chant and pray at a Hindu temple. She said she practiced this religion in an interview with People Magazine in 2011. 2. Mayim Balik Mayim Bialik keeps Kosher, studies Jewish texts and even shuts down all social media during the Sabbath. Talk about commitment, huh?!? 3. Derick Dillard: Sending Josh Duggar a Message Online?

It’s been four days since Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on his wife  with the help of a number of online dating and social media profiles, and we’re still not quite sure how the rest of the family feels about his latest scandal. Jessa Duggar posted a Bible passage about the power of forgiveness, and though her siblings have yet to speak on the matter publicly, we’re guessing most of them share her view that Josh should be forgiven and the matter should be forgotten. Josh’s in-laws, however, might not necessarily share that view. First, Daniel Keller – the brother of Josh’s wife Anna – slammed Josh on Facebook and made it clear that he refuses to go along with the Duggar’s PR strategy. Now, Derick Dillard – the wife of Josh’s sister Jill – is sending Josh a much more subtle but equally potent message via social media. In his first post since the news of Josh’s infidelity went public, Derick promoted the Rev. Ronnie Floyd’s series of sermon’s about sex in modern society. In Sunday’s installment, Floyd controversially suggested that Anna is partially to blame for Josh’s cheating , but Derick promoted the sermon before he knew what the content would consist of. In previous sermons, Floyd has denounced adulterers as the worst kind of sinners, and many believe Derick was encouraging Josh to focus on that message. Courtney Stodden: Naked, Covered in Waffles on Instagram

If you’ve been to Courtney Stodden’s Instagram page, then you know the girl is no fan of clothing. But unlike other young starlets who get naked for a living, Courtney gets creative with her nudity. Obviously, Courtney’s sex tape was pretty standard fare, but check out the thought and planning that went into her celebration of National Waffle Day (which is apparently a thing). On the left, we have Courtney looking for a “midnight snack” (according to her caption). A few hours later, she posted the pic on the right and captioned it, “Breakfast in bed on National Waffle Day.” Combined, the photos tell a story of ambition, desire, and boobs. We’re hoping this is the start of an ongoing “food and nudity” (Foodity?) phase for Courtney that will be every bit as exciting as Picasso’s Blue Period. National Waffle Day is not generally regarded as a sexy occasion, but when Courtney hears about anything, she immediately thinks, “Hmmm…how can I turn this into an excuse to get naked?” which is exactly the kid of can-do spirit this country needs.
