Tyrese took to IG after his Facebook video breakdown went viral, to let his fans know that he is okay and still rocking his Shayla hoodie and chucks and smoking Cohibas…because somehow these things are all related to him. One of the most magical things about Teen Mom is the amount of gossip it generates — and, as you can imagine, pregnancy rumors make up a big, big part of all that gossip. At least once every month or so, we’ll hear whispers that one of the moms is expecting again. Sometimes the rumors turn out to be true — remember all the speculation about Jenelle Evans last year, all that talk before her pregnancy was confirmed in a police report? (Still one of the most incredible moments in TM history, by the way.) But unfortunately — or fortunately, depending on who we’re talking about — the pregnancies are usually just tabloid fodder. We thought that was the case with the latest round of pregnancy rumors surrounding Amber Portwood. After all, she’s been dating her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, for just three months. And that’s a generous estimate. Surely she wouldn’t be expecting a child with a man she’s just known since the summer, right? WRONG. It’s official, y’all: Amber is pregnant. For real. Feel free to take a few moments to gather yourself, to try to recover from the shock … Though Amber hasn’t commented on the matter herself, People did confirm the pregnancy, which is about as official as it gets. A report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup offers up a few additional details — now we know that the pregnancy is the reason Amber didn’t show up for the big Teen Mom party in L.A. last month. “The official word told to everyone was that she didn’t come because she was sick,” a source revealed, “but basically everyone knew it was morning sickness.” “She’s been having a hard time so far, but Amber is totally thrilled about the pregnancy.” Look, we’re happy if Amber is happy, but there are quite a few reasons to not be thrilled about this pregnancy. One, another source told The Ashley that Teen Mom OG producers have known about this whole thing since Amber and Andrew’s vacation to Hawaii. That was mid-September, so if Amber was far enough along to know she was pregnant and to start telling people, that means she’d have to have conceived pretty much the second she and Andrew started dating . Is it really that hard to wait to have a baby with someone? Just at least until you’ve known them, say, six months? Two — and this one goes along with that first issue — there wasn’t a lot of downtime between Amber’s breakup with Matt Baier and the start of her relationship with Andrew. She broke up with Matt for good at the end of June, when they wrapped up filming their season of Marriage Boot Camp. That means that there’s a chance this could be Matt’s baby. Hey, we know his sperm is up to the task, right? Three, in case you forgot, Amber wasn’t all that great a mother the first time around. Sorry, but it’s true. It’s been a while, so you may have forgotten, but she was never that interested in parenting, to the point that she’d leave baby Leah crying in a crib without sheets, with nothing but a bottle of Kool-Aid for comfort. Child protective services were even called on her at one point, because she beat Gary in front of Leah. Though they were both immature and kind of awful in the beginning, Gary was able to step up and be the parent that Leah needs, while Amber continues to flake even on visitation. Will Andrew be able to step up like that? Which brings us to our fourth point — Andrew is a terrible person. Two of his ex-girlfriends have restraining orders against him that were filed after he allegedly stalked and threatened them. He’s not exactly prime baby daddy material. And finally, Amber has said in the not-so-distant past that she’d never have more children because of the medications she takes to maintain her mental health. She suffers from borderline personality disorder and she’s also bipolar, and she relies on her medication to keep her stable. She explained on an old Teen Mom episode that she needs to take those medications “for the rest of my life,” and “I can’t, I can’t get pregnant on this medication.” Well, she could technically get pregnant, but the meds “would mess up the fetus.” In addition to that, she said that it would also be a bad idea for her to get off her meds just to have a baby, because “If I do not have medication, I will not be normal. I would have crazy mood swings.” So … what happened with all that? Look, best wishes and all, but there’s no way this pregnancy is going to be nice and sweet and drama-free. There’s literally no way. However, one person was a little too on the nose with her idea and what was meant to be a joke resulted in some strong reactions. Haleigh Conner , a biology and neuroscience student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, decided to dress up as “commitment” for Halloween — and when we say dress up, we mean she put on a shirt with the word “commitment” on it. Anyways, she posted the picture on Instagram and even tweeted it out with all her exes tagged. This is when people took notice and Haleigh got a wave of reactions. Back in November of 2016, Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo in front of 1,500 of her closest friends and relatives. Now, as they approach their one-year anniversary, the young couple is still going strong. But while Jinger has developed into the same sort of doting wife as her mother and older sisters, she’s also undergone a number of other changes that no one in her family would have ever predicted. These days, Jinger is known as her family’s resident rebel. And while her acts of defiance may seem incredibly tame to those of us outside of Tontitown, Arkansas, within Jinger’s inner circle, there’s been much fretting and pearl-clutching over the 23-year-old’s apparent disinterest in following in the footsteps of the other women in her family. Jinger’s most obvious form of rebellion has been the rejection of her family’s strict dress code. Before Jinger got hitched, all of Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughters continued to wear below-the-knee skirts at all times (even while playing sports or engaging in other outdoor activities) even after leaving the house. Jinger not only wears pants , she’s been known to rock shorts on occasion and short (by Duggar standards) skirts: That’s a photo that Jinger uploaded on Instagram this week, and while her hemline might fall a little higher than her parents would like, it’s a much more subtle form of rebellion that has fans talking. Jinger captioned the photo with lyrics from the 1965 song “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole: “L is for the way you look at me O is for the only one I see V is very, very extraordinary E is even more than anyone that you adore can,” she wrote. Sure, it’s not like Jinger is quoting Cardi B, but many longtime Duggar obsessives are still taken aback by her choice of song. Why? Well, Jinger’s family generally eschews all forms of secular music. Those familiar with the Duggars’ belief system say that non-religious music isn’t expressly forbidden, but note that young people are “strongly discouraged” to stick with hymns, and even Christian rock is considered potentially problematic. “A song other then church music? Jinger u rebel!!” wrote one Instagram follower on Jinger’s photo. “Gasp you’ve heard of this song?” commented another. Like we said, Jinger’s not exactly scrawling Slayer lyrics on her walls in goat’s blood-red paint, but she’s still sending a message that the life she plans to live is not the one her parents mapped out for her. Caitlyn Jenner has achieved a personal milestone. She’s accomplished something the reality star never thought she would accomplish. She’s walked down the beach in a bathing suit. Not just any bathing suit, of course. Or not a men’s bathing suit, we should emphasize for accuracy. Instead, the transgender icon has shared a picture on Instagram of herself walking down the beach in Cabo San Lucas, wearing only woman’s swimwear. “40 years ago my therapist asked me what my fantasy is,” Jenner wrote as the caption, adding as a tease and an answer: “I told her walking on the beach being my authentic self and…” And here she is: It’s been quite a journey for Jenner to reach this point in her life, of course. She struggled for decades as a man, remaining deep in the closet and hiding her true self from the public. But that finally changed in April of 2015 when Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer and opened up about how she felt like she was meant to be a female. This explains the Instagram video Caitlyn posted in which she’s rocking the aforementioned plunging one-piece swimsuit and a wide-brimmed hat. As she gets closer to the camera, she takes off her hat and proudly declares “Free!” as she twirls around while the waves crash ashore. It’s pretty great. In January of this year, Jenner underwent gender reassignment surgery . “The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated,” Caitlyn writes in the memoir, referred to the decision to undergo the surgery as “complex.” She adds in the book, which basically ruined her relationship with many members of her family, that she had grown tired of answering questions about when she would have this procedure done. “I am telling you because I believe in candor,” she says. “So all of you can stop staring. You want to know, so now you know. Which is why this is the first time, and the last time, I will ever speak of it.” In a subsequent interview with Larry King, however, Jenner made it clear that not all transgender individuals undergo this surgery. Audrey Roloff has given Little People, Big World some fun insight into her daughter. First, the beloved TLC star shared a new photo of her baby girl. And, what can we say, it’s downright adorable… Second, Roloff has written something interesting about Ember Jean, who is just over six weeks old. Following a general status update on Ember upon the occasion of her one-month birthday, Audrey is now here to tell us what song her child likes to hear most often. Along with what change Audrey has made to the lyrics. “I sure do spend a lot of time in bed, but never actually sleeping of course,” Audrey wrote as a caption to the photo above. And it’s true: She and Jeremy Roloff have mentioned on multiple occasions that Ember isn’t exactly a great sleeper. Not yet, at least. But Audrey wasn’t trying to criticize her child with this post. Quite the opposite, really. “How could you not want to just cuddle in bed all day with a face like that?!” she continued, adding: “Ember likes it when I sing to her – and she’s probably the only person on the planet that does – but for some reason I can never think of any other songs to sing except amazing grace!” That is a classic. And it’s appropriate for someone as dedicated to her faith as Audrey Roloff. Added the mother of one: “They other day I was singing it to her on repeat and I suddenly had an urge to replace the “me’s” with “you’s.” “This verse became particularly encouraging as I sang it over her instead of myself, “The Lord has promised good to YOU His word YOUR hope secures; He will YOUR sheild and portion be… “As long as life endures, Yet when YOUR flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, YOU shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace.” It’s been so nice to see Audrey open up a lot more of late when it comes to Ember. For a little while there, the reality star admitted that the adjustment to parenthood was a struggle, but she’s been sharing more and more photos recently of her bundle of joy. And Ember has even gotten out of the house to enjoy some special trips . We’re grateful to Audrey and Jeremy for opening up their lives in this kind of manner to their fans and we continue to wish their family health and happiness.
