Johnny Depp is known for his many unique looks on screen, from The Mad Hatter to Edward Scissorhands to Captain Jack Sparrow. But the multiple-time Oscar nominee surprised fans over the weekend by debuting a unique look in real life, going blonde for an event at the London Film Festival that honored Christopher Lee. Depp was on hand to present the legendary actor with the British Film Institute Fellowship, hailing his frequent co-star as a “a very great man indeed.” Depp and Lee have shared the screen in three Tim Burton-directed films: Sleepy Hollow , Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Dark Shadows . Working with Lee “was certainly a childhood dream come true,” said The Pirates of the Caribbean icon, who referred to the 91-year old British actor as a “true gentleman,” a “national treasure” and concluded with a simple: “I love you.” But do you feel the same way about Depp’s lighter locks? Cee Lo Green will not be charged with sexual assault following allegations that he slipped ecstasy into a woman’s drink and had his way with her without consent. He will, however, be charged with possessing the illegal substance. The Voice coach will not face sexual assault charges after investigators found that the woman and Green had been dating and had already been intimate. Green denied the claim, and went a step further, encouraging the D.A. and the LAPD to fully investigate so that he would be exonerated. Which he has been. However, Cee Lo is expected to be charged with one count of furnishing ecstasy, a felony in its own right, and he may be arraigned as early as this afternoon. The woman claimed to have a tape recording of Cee Lo talking about the incident. He mentioned nothing about giving her the drug, but he did reference it. It appears the D.A. views this as a confession to drug possession . According to TMZ, the criminal complaint will not allege the star had any criminal intent to harm the woman when he allegedly shared ecstasy with her . In that most crucial sense, it’s a win for Cee Lo, who will escape with his freedom and largely, reputation intact after denying the allegation all along. He won’t be let off completely, though. The drug charge will stick. Most people get probation for their first drug offense, even for felonies, which this would be. Stay tuned.

With the celebrity gossip world still abuzz over Kardashian’s post-baby body reveal , Miley Cyrus took to Instagram this weekend and posted a cleavage-based shot of her own. It features the singer, sans head, in a red bathing suit, showing off long red nails and a lot of skin. The caption? “god bless october in la.” This, of course, could practically be conservative for Miley these days, based on the outfits (or lackthereof) that she’s been donning on stage and during red carpet appearances. Teacher Fired After Serving Alcohol And Condoms To Students Maybe she just wanted to relive her youth… you know pop molly and get slizzard like the cool kids. According to The NY Daily News The party’s over for a popular suburban Miami dance teacher. Isabel Diaz-Almaraz was officially axed Wednesday from her job at South Miami Senior High School after a student posted incriminating photos online suggesting he received a “party platter” full of booze and condoms from her. She was initially suspended without pay in September 2012 following an investigation. A 46-page document claims Diaz-Almaraz used $1,000 from her PayPal account to rent a penthouse suite for students last year during a prom after-party. A student posted a picture on Instagram of the four-bedroom penthouse overlooking the ocean, as well as a second picture of a party tray. The goodies included Durex condoms, bottles of Malibu Rum and Grey Goose, Jell-O and candies. The student captioned the photo, “Thank you Mrs.D!!!” Officials said the teacher was also at the infamous after-party, although she testified during the investigation that she didn’t ply the students with alcohol. Some students denied she was the one who brought the booze. Diaz-Almaraz’s husband had also been at the penthouse the next day cooking steaks for the students, reported NBC affiliate WTVJ. “I don’t think we should ever exalt or celebrate the termination of an employee,” Miami-Dade Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho said at Wednesday’s board meeting announcing her termination. “At the same time, their standard of conduct — particularly behavior that could endanger children that jeopardizes safety of children — must be upheld.” Students said Diaz-Almaraz appeared overly chummy, describing her as “fun” and “young.” One mom who supported the teacher called the investigation of her a “witch hunt.” “I do not believe at any time Mrs. D endangered my daughter,” parent Marci Sigel wrote to the school board. An administrative law judge had recommended over the summer that the teacher be reinstated, although Carvalho disagreed and pushed for her termination. Diaz-Almaraz’s lawyer claimed she only rented the hotel suite for the students because doing so required a PayPal account, which none of the students had, the Miami Herald reported. “This is not a career-ending mistake,” argued attorney Mark Herdman, adding that she has taken responsibility for her actions. “Fit Mom” Maria Kang is speaking out in defense of her “What’s Your Excuse” photo that caused such a stir online, claiming she was just trying to inspire. The 32-year-old mother of three revealed that she never intended to bully or shame others with her fitness photo shoot, but rather share a love of exercise. Yet after posting this photo to her Facebook page, Maria became the target of online critics who called her a “bully” who was calling out other women: Fit Mom Responds to Critics Maria Kang was shocked when her Facebook page blew up with commenters calling her “selfish,” a “fat shamer” and worse after the ad went viral. “I did not know I was going to ruffle this many feathers,” Maria said. “I knew that not everyone was going to like the photo but I wanted to inspire others.” “Obviously these three little boys are symbols of time. I’m able to keep them a priority. Of course it’s not always my first priority but it’s one of my priorities.” “Whether I work out at 5 a.m. or 5 p.m. or 10 p.m.,” the fitness enthusiast says, “it’s always some part of my daily goal to take part of my health.” Thousands of women did speak out to support Maria (and praise her physique), while taking inspiration from Kang, despite the vocal opposition. After issuing a non-apology, her second explanation is a bit less defensive, albeit just as adamant that she meant no harm and was being positive. Maria explained that continues to share her photo and story online because she wants to help other moms who struggle to find the time or energy.
