What Is Wrong With This Picture? Michigan Construction Sign Hacked With Racial Slur Targeting Trayvon Martin!

Michigan Construction Sign Hacked, Vandal Posts Racial Slur About Trayvon Martin The ugly racial divide over the shooting death of Trayvon Martin has reared its head in Michigan. Motorists in Dearborn report seeing a racial slur on a construction sign along I-94 overnight. The digital roadside sign displayed the message: “Trayvon A N***er”, a reference to Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen who police say was gunned down by a neighborhood watch volunteer in February. “The portable sign has a panel that was broken in to,” said MDOT spokesman Rob Morosi. “The message was changed and the keyboard was actually stolen.” FOX 2′s Amy Andrews reports the message was displayed for over an hour until workers were able to power down the sign. Michigan State Police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to give them a call. This is a shame. Fawk the punk beyotch that did this isht! R.I.P. Trayvon Source More On Bossip! George Zimmerman May Be Arrested This Week! Florda State Attorney Decides NOT To Use Grand Jury In Trayvon Martin Case

Justice for Trayvon !!!! State Attorney Angela Corey has decided not to use a grand jury in her investigation into the shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin: The grand jury, scheduled by the case’s previous prosecutor, was set to convene on April 10. A statement released by her office said that the decision “should not be considered a factor in the final determination of the case.” Corey was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott last month to take over the investigation. At that time she said she may not need a grand jury. Corey, the state attorney for the Jacksonville area, was appointed to take over the case after the local state attorney, Norman Wolfinger, recused himself. Monday’s statement said that the investigation continues, and declined further comment. The decision to press charges now rests solely with Corey, whose reputation was to not present cases before grand juries if not required under state law. (In Florida grand juries are only required in cases of first-degree murder.) Zimmerman’s friends and family believe he is innocent of any wrongdoing. But an attorney for Martin’s family says Zimmerman should be put on trial. “When you look at this evidence and evaluate it, I think the consensus is there must be an arrest in this case,” said Martin family attorney Natalie Jackson. Almost 2 months have gone by without an arrest in the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, this is positive proof that our legal is broken. Justice is coming for you Zimmerman. #HoodiesUpForTrayvon! Lil Wayne Not Allowed To Skate In Peace, So Young Money Goons Spit And Beat Up Thirsty Pap’s… BIKE! [Video] Lil Wayne’s entourage spat in a photog’s face, pushed him to the ground in the rain, then beat the crap out of his bicycle — this according to a police report filed last week in Miami. According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the photog spotted Wayne and his entourage skateboarding outside some church — right beside a “no skateboarding” sign — so he decided to take a few pics. The photog claims Wayne and his boys packed it in after it started to rain — so he followed the group to their car, snapping pics along the way. According to the report, Weezy didn’t much like the attention (as you can see in the video) — so he ordered his goons to take the man’s camera … at which point roughly eight men surrounded him, and intimidated him into deleting several of his photos. DeAndre Brackensick: ‘Idol’ Viewers Love Or Hate My Voice

‘Back in the day, everybody was a falsetto singer; it’s just so unappreciated now,’ latest castoff tells MTV News. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Kelly Marino DeAndre Brackensick Photo: MTV News On Thursday night, “American Idol” bid adieu to its most follicly accomplished contestant, DeAndre Brackensick (no offense, Colton), who was given the boot following his performance of DeBarge’s “I Like It.” After his exit, Brackensick spoke to MTV News , expressing “no regrets” about anything he did during his run on “Idol” and remaining adamant that his falsetto — which somewhat mystified mentor Jimmy Iovine — wasn’t the reason for his departure. “Everyone has their opinion; my voice is one of the voices where either you love it or you can’t stand it, and I think Jimmy didn’t really have a feel for my voice,” he said. “But it’s fine, because I take everything he does say to me to heart, and I try to put it toward the next performance. I have much love for Jimmy.” And in keeping with both the “no regrets” sentiment and his belief in doing things his way, Brackensick said that he didn’t take his ouster — or the judges’ refusal to save him (no matter how hard Jennifer Lopez protested) — personally. After all, he feels he can leave the show with his head held high. “You always hope for the save, because [you] want to be with each other for another week,” he sighed. “But the saves happen for a reason; I’d already been saved once, so I can’t really be saved again. You only get so many chances in life. I’m just proud of myself and the accomplishments I’ve made already.” He’s hoping he’ll keep accomplishing things post-“Idol.” Like, for example, bringing back the sweet falsetto sounds of classic R&B and the genuine emotion of music — both of which he said are sorely missed in today’s music. “That R&B soul is just lacking nowadays in music. Back in the day, everybody was a falsetto singer; it’s just so unappreciated now,” he said. “That was one of the reasons why I wanted to sing an Eric Benet song. There’s so many talented people that are not getting the love they should, and I want to bring that old sound back. I don’t even want to be a huge star. I just want music to be known, and I want messages to be getting through, like it was back in the day.” Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. Can ‘American Reunion’ Or ‘Titanic’ Top ‘Hunger Games’ At The Box Office?

We speak to box-office experts about whether the ‘Games’ will continue to rule over the weekend. By Kevin P. Sullivan Jason Biggs in “American Reunion” Photo: Universal Pictures Almost three weeks into “The Hunger Games” ‘s run at the box office, two worthy competitors have stepped up to challenge the aging champion. “Titanic 3D” and “American Reunion” pose the first real threat to “The Hunger Games” and its reign as the top money maker of the weekend. “The Hunger Games” has, however, performed strongly all week and could very well earn a third straight victory. We spoke with box-office experts to see where they think “The Hunger Games” will land come Monday and whether “Titanic 3D” or “American Reunion” could rule the weekend instead. James Cameron ‘s 3D conversion of “Titanic” got an early start on the competition with a Wednesday opening to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the tragedy. Right out of the gate, “The Hunger Games” was keeping pace, winning the day by a little over $200,000. Then Katniss went on to double Jack and Rose’s earnings on Thursday. ” ‘Hunger Games’ hasn’t hit lean times at the box office by any stretch this week, easily taking the top spot through the week and averaging around $5 million,” said Jeff Bock, a box-office analyst from Exhibitor Relations . According to Phil Contrino from BoxOffice.com , the weekday competition between the two movies and the wins by “The Hunger Games” have spelled an early victory for Katniss and the other tributes, but he notes that the other competition shouldn’t be counted out. “I expect ‘Titanic 3D’ to surge during the weekend, but it looks like ‘Hunger Games’ will beat it now,” Contrino said. “The dark horse here is ‘American Reunion’ — it shouldn’t be overlooked.” The “American Pie” series has always opened relatively strong. The first two films debuted with $45 million and $33 million, respectively, and to date, the series has totaled $352 million in the United States. With the competition at the box office caught in such a tight race, Bock concluded that now, as always, it’s just up to the audience. ” ‘Hunger Games’ will likely three-peat, but ‘American Reunion’ may have the nostalgia factor going for it and also come close to $30 mil this weekend,” he said. “I guess it depends if audiences are in the mood for apple pie or not.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Hunger Games,” “Titanic 3D” and “American Reunion.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Far East Movement Congratulate Tokio Hotel On Musical March Madness

‘If you die tomorrow, at least you won today,’ Kev Nish says, making a reference to Far East’s collaboration with TH frontman Bill Kaulitz. By James Montgomery Far East Movement Photo: MTV News Tokio Hotel ‘s first 24 hours as Musical March Madness champions has already included some spirited back-and-forth between their Aliens and Green Day’s rabid fanbase (check the comments of our title game recap for proof), a rather gracious acceptance speech from the Brothers Kaulitz, and now, a special shout-out from their pals in the Far East Movement. Yes, when MTV News caught up with the fast-rising hitmakers on Wednesday, they were quick to praise Tokio Hotel for their MMM win … and pimp their upcoming collaboration with Bill Kaulitz, too. “Big congrats to Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz and crew!” Far East’s Kev Nish said. “If you die tomorrow, at least you won today.” See what he did there? For the uninitiated, “If I Die Tomorrow” is a song on Far East’s upcoming Dirty Bass album, which features collabos with the likes of Justin Bieber, LMFAO’s Redfoo and, of course, Kaulitz. And if featuring a member of TH on a track seems a bit off, well, let’s let Nish explain how the whole thing came to be. “When we first signed to Cherrytree [Records], we went on the website and see who’s on the roster … how do you pick what label to go to, you know?” he said. “And we saw Tokio Hotel, and we were like ‘Yo, this band is wild.’ We were on a bus watching them on the MTV Europe Awards, winning, and we were like, ‘We need to do a song with those dudes.’ “So we got in with Bill Kaulitz and we just wanted to do a song about losing yourself, about possibly losing your mind, because you might die the next day,” he continued. “It’s called ‘If I Die Tomorrow,’ and it’s Bill Kaulitz and his incredible tone in our dirty bass world … and that’s kind of where dirty bass is going: unexpected collaborations.” And given Tokio Hotel’s big MMM win, we think this may be the first of many Kaulitz collaborations. After all, when you’re on top, everyone wants a piece of you. Jennifer Lopez Votes To Save DeAndre Brackensick On ‘Idol’

But other judges opt to boot springy-haired singer, who was joined by Hollie Cavanagh and Elise Testone in the bottom three. By Adam Graham DeAndre Brackensick on “American Idol” Photo: Fox DeAndre Brackensick sang “I Like It” on Wednesday’s ’80s-themed episode of “American Idol,” but America didn’t like it and sent the springy-haired singer packing on Thursday’s (April 5) elimination episode. The 17-year-old from San Jose, California, came the closest so far this season to being a recipient of a judges’ save, after performing Stevie Wonder’s “Master Blaster” following the news he received the lowest number of America’s votes. “This boy right here, we’ve been watching him for two years. You’re an amazing performer, and I stand by that,” Jennifer Lopez told him. “I think you have an amazing voice, and you’re gonna share a lot with the world, I really do believe that. [But] I only get one vote. I’m sorry, we’re not saving you tonight. I’m sorry, baby.” Host Ryan Seacrest asked Lopez if that meant she voted to save him and the other two judges didn’t. “Yes, that’s what I’m saying,” she said. Brackensick wound up in the doghouse despite receiving positive remarks from the judges Wednesday. Lopez called his performance “natural” and Steven Tyler called it “amazing,” while Randy Jackson told him, “It was one of my best performances from you.” Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine, however, had a different take. “DeAndre was not great!” he barked. “DeAndre needs to come out and grow at a much faster pace. If you look at the boys, Joshua [Ledet] is growing in leaps and bounds, and DeAndre is growing marginally.” Iovine called him the “weakest of the boys” on Wednesday. Iovine had harsh words for several of the contestants Thursday; he said Hollie Cavanagh “is approaching this like a high school performer, and last night wasn’t even a great high school performance,” while he said Elise Testone delivered “an old-fashioned choke.” (It goes without saying that Iovine has become by far the most interesting, honest judge on the show, even though he’s technically not even a judge. Can someone go ahead and change that, please?) It was Cavanagh and Testone, in fact, who joined Brackensick in the week’s bottom three. Brackensick was the first contestant sent to those lonely chairs, followed by Cavanagh and then Testone. Cavanagh was sent back to safety first, leaving Brackensick and Testone to sweat it out. Also on the show, the Wanted performed their hit “Glad You Came” and Kellie Pickler ran through her new single “Where’s Tammy Wynette,” while Jennifer Lopez debuted her “Dance Again” video . The pop star treated his girlfriend of over a year, Selena Gomez , to a romantic picnic in the park. The teen superstars decided to go for a low-key date, picking up Subway sandwiches and cuddling on a secluded hill in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park. This isn’t the first time the teen super stars’ dates have made headlines. Last year, Bieber rented out Staples Center for a private viewing of “Titanic.” Recently, Bieber revealed his secrets to a successful relationship. “To be a great boyfriend, you just have to have patience,” Bieber told E! News. “You’re always wrong when it comes to girls, you’re always wrong, so just say sorry when things are rough.” Last week, the pair appeared at the Kids’ Choice Awards , where Bieber got slimed after winning the Favorite Male Singer award.
