Racist images on the phone of Sean Christopher Urbanski will be presented to the jury during the murder trial for the fatal stabbing of Richard Collins III. The Capital Gazette reports that Urbanski’s lawyers fought to have the images thrown out calling them “stupid and tasteless” but ultimately irrelevant to the killing. A Prince George’s County Circuit Court judge disagreed however and ruled that the images which include a hanging noose and “racially insensitive” memes could be presented as evidence. Prosecutors argued that the photos prove Urbanski selected Collins to kill because he was black. Lt. Richard Collins III was killed near the campus of University of Maryland College Park in May 2017. He was with two friends at a bus stop and heard Urbanski screaming, “Step left, step left if you know what’s best for you.” After Collins refused, Urbanski stabbed him once in the chest. After working with the experts on the series, she had a change of heart, and while Tami initially wouldn’t do marriage, she started trying to have a child with him. She announced that she was six months pregnant on VH1’s now-defunct Love & Hip Hop Atlanta After Party Live in 2015. A few weeks later, she revealed that she had miscarried. Source: Jason LaVeris / Getty Though most people who watch Love and Basketball see it as the role that made Sanaa Lathan a star, looking back at it now, 19 years after the film’s release, the 47-year-old actress said shooting the project was a “miserable” experience. “ Gina [Prince-Bythewood] really wanted, and the producers, they really wanted a basketball player who could act as opposed to an actress who they could teach to play basketball,” she told LA’s KCAL, the CBS affiliate . However, that was very difficult to do, so while they worked hard to find basketball players who could possibly play Monica, they kept Sanaa around because they liked her reading of the part. ( Terms and conditions ). “I would always get to the last step and they would throw in another basketball player,” she said. “They were giving the basketball players acting coaches.” While the basketball players were being taught to act in the hopes of filling the role, Sanaa, for some time, was left on her own to learn basketball. When she would go in for basketball auditions, she said it would go horribly. “Finally I demanded, ‘If you want me to continue, you’re going to have to get me a basketball coach because I hear you’re giving these basketball players acting coaches,’ and they did.” She ended up training five hours a day for a while before actually getting the job. When she did, she said she felt like she was somewhat unwanted, which is why filming, for her, wasn’t as enjoyable as people might have thought it was. “I was miserable [laughs]. I can laugh about it now,” she said. “I got the job and I think Gina finally got to the point where she had to hire somebody. It’s almost like she hired me because she couldn’t find somebody else, so there wasn’t a lot of joy and there wasn’t a lot of trust in me. It was her baby and it was her first time directing. It was a big deal for her. Here I am, nobody knows me really, and she has to hire me. She gets to the point where she knows it, she makes this decision with me, but yet, I was like the default. Email Submit “They also surrounded me in all of the basketball scenes with real ball players,” she added. “I wasn’t ‘Sanaa Lathan,’ I was just some actress and I could feel them being like, ‘Why did this b—h get the part? She can’t play!’ So there was a lot of crying, a lot of crying behind the scenes for me.” However, she got through it all by totally mastering Monica when it came to the actual acting. She already had more than 30 plays under her belt, and that gave her some of the confidence she needed to get through it all. “If I had been an actress who hadn’t really done a lot, just a couple of acting classes, I would have probably been terrified. But I knew I could do the role,” she said. “The role for me was easy. I got this. So I wasn’t worried about that. It was the basketball.” For the record, while she initially wasn’t crazy about Gina while shooting Love and Basketball , she considers her like family now and is grateful to have been a part of her classic film. “We bonded quickly thereafter. By the end of shooting, we were cool and very close,” she said. “We went on to do Disappearing Acts and Shots Fired and I love her. She’s like a sister to me. Another day, another bizarre update in the increasingly sad saga of Jenelle Evans. As you've likely heard by now, Jenelle lost custody of her kids last month. For most parents, that would be the end of the public spectacle, as they would remove themselves from social media and all other platforms in order to focus on regaining custody and avoid further damage to their reputation. The company that Jobs built announced it will be updating the device which hasn’t seen any improvements since 2015. The new iPod Touch still looks like its predecessor with a 4-inch display, a home button and comes in multiple colors but will be sporting a new A10 Fusion system-on-a-chip under the hood. The updated iPod Touch runs on iOS 12 like the latest iPhone models and will allow owners to launch ARkit apps and even start group FaceTime conversations. Unlike the latest generation of iPhones, the new iPod Touch does not feature Touch ID or Face ID so to unlock the device you will need a passcode. Also, it will feature a headphone jack, something we wished Apple would put back on its iPhones again. This latest move by Apple comes as a surprise, but we can definitely see the potential for Apple to pull in coins. The updated iPod Touch is cheaper than Apple’s latest handsets, $199 will get you a 32GB, $299 128GB device and if you got some extra money laying around for $399 you can purchase a touch with 256GB of storage. It’s gonna take you a while to fill that bad boy up. Now if you’re wondering who would be in the market for an iPod Touch, there are plenty of potential customers. This device would be perfect for the person who would rather have their music on a separate device, making more room for your photos on your phone. We can also see kids jumping to get the new iPod Touch because of it coming in six new colors space gray, white, gold, blue, pink and (PRODUCT)RED. Also, it works well with wireless speakers and does allow access to streaming platforms such as Apple Music which will help alleviate the strain on your iPhone battery and help you conserve juice. Check out this story that just broke yesterday about Iggy Azalea’s secret pictures that aren’t so secret anymore. Via | HipHopDX Iggy Azalea apparently deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts after nude photos of her were leaked online. She made the move on Monday (May 27), just one day after the breach of privacy. The origin of the leak appears to be from a website called The Fappening Blog. Prior to the deactivations, the “Fancy” pop star didn’t address the incident. As pointed out by US Weekly, the photos originate from a 2016 GQ Australia photo shoot with photographer Nino Munoz. It’s been over two years since Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finalized their divorce , but the latest Hollywood split in recent memory is once again making tabloid headlines. That’s because Depp is suing Heard for $50 million , alleging that the actress violated a non-disclosure agreement by writing about her experiences as an abuse survivor in a Washington Post op-ed. The bitter civil trial has seen Depp and Heard hurling increasingly shocking allegations at one another. In court documents, Heard described Depp as an alcoholic “monster,” prone to frightening fits of jealousy and violent rage. She later accused the actor of trying to get her fired from the movie Aquaman and blacklisted from Hollywood. Depp fired back, claiming that Heard tried to cut his finger off during a fight and went to great lengths to frame him for physical abuse. Thus far, most of the allegations have come in the form of filings from Depp and Heard’s lawyers. But now, Johnny is speaking for himself in newly-released documents first obtained by The Blast . “I’ve denied Heard’s allegations since she first made them in May 2016 when she walked into court to obtain a restraining order with painted on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she didn’t have each day of the preceding week,” the actor wrote. “I’ll continue to deny them for the rest of my life. I never abused Heard or any other woman.” You may recall the photos of Heard’s bruised face that were published in several publications in 2016. Believe it or not, Depp is now claiming that the press was bamboozled by a skillful makeup job. He portrays heard as a master of deception whose “lies are internally inconsistent, shifting, and contradicted by overwhelming testimonial, photographic, audio, video, and other evidence.” From there, Depp does the thing where he claims he’s not just working to rescue his public image — he’s also standing up for the real victims! He writes that he filed the suit “not only to clear my name and to restore my reputation, but also to attempt to bring clarity to all the women and men whose lives have been harmed by abuse and who’ve been lied to repeatedly by Ms. Heard as their spokesperson.” Heard’s alleged motive for concocting such an elaborate lie is never revealed in Depp’s filing. Presumably, he wants us to believe she hoped to destroy his career and fleece him for everything he’s worth in the divorce. Of course, the man the internet has dubbed “Johnny Debt” has done a fine job of destroying his own finances, what with spending $30,000 a month on wine for several years, among other ridiculous expenditures. After nine days in the world, little Archie Harrison got to meet his aunt and uncle — at last! Kate Middleton and Prince William dropped on over to Frogmore Cottage on Tuesday to officially meet their nephew. But as for Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis — well, they still have to wait to meet their new baby cousin. Prince Harry’s brother and sister-in-law were introduced to baby Archie today during a private visit , a palace rep confirmed to People . Earlier in the day, however, Kate, Harry, and William had royal engagements to tend to. Kate was busy visiting a secret WWII spy base in Bletchley Park, while William spoke at the first United for Wildlife meeting. The couple, who recently celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary , definitely had a day full of activities — but we are sure their favorite part was meeting Archie. Prince Harry also had an emotional day as he spent the morning visiting the Oxford Children’s Hospital. Even though royal obligations did not pause for the new dad, Archie was obviously still a big topic of conversation. “He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life,” Ida Scullard, whose son is battling cancer, told the press of their meeting. “He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son.” Meghan and Harry, who are about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in a few days, welcomed their first child last Monday. “This little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon,” the first-time dad told the press. Meghan Markle opened up about motherhood as the couple introduced their adorable baby to the world. (Yes, technically we met Archie before Aunt Kate and Uncle William, NBD.) “It’s magic.
