Steve Harvey’s ex-wife, Mary Harvey, turned herself in at the Beverly Hills courthouse today, according to sources . Apparently she missed a court date with Steve in February so the judge issued an arrest warrant. As we previously reported, Steve Harvey joined forces with his current wife Marjorie and took Mary to court over the videos she posted on YouTube. Elmer “Geronimo” Pratt aka Geronimo ji-Jaga died of a heart attack yesterday in his home in Tanzania. The former high-ranking member of the Black Panther party and godfather of Tupac Shakur was unjustly incarcerated for 27 years after being falsely convicted of the kidnap and murder of Caroline Olsen on a Santa Monica, California tennis court in 1968. Even though the husband of the victim that survived the robbery pointed out another man as the attacker, a judge ruled that the jury was not informed. Pratt served his time, and eight years of that time he was in solitary confinement. He was freed in 1997. Stuart Hanlon, a San Francisco attorney who helped overturn Pratt’s murder conviction said to The Times, “Geronimo was a powerful leader. For that reason he was targeted.” Read more here. First Lady Michelle Obama announced that she will travel to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa and Gaborone,during an official visit to Africa from June 21 – 26 focused on youth leadership, education, health and wellness. Mrs. Obama’s visit will highlight the important stake the U.S. has in the success of Africa’s many nations, as well as the historic connections between the American people and those who live on the African continent. President Barack Obama’s late father was Kenyan. In addition to advancing her international youth engagement agenda, the First Lady’s events will amplify the President’s support for democracy, development and economic opportunity across Africa. During her trip, Mrs. Obama will deliver the keynote address to a U.S.-sponsored Young African Women Leaders Forum in South Africa. Forum participants include young women from across sub-Saharan Africa who are leading or involved in social and economic initiatives in their own countries. The Forum will build on the Obama Administration’s ongoing engagement with the next generation of African leaders and the momentum of the August 2010 President’s Forum with Young African Leaders held at the White House. Bobby Brown took a flight from Aruba to Miami, but he may have no recollection of it. The singer was on his way back to Miami from Aruba recently with his wife Alicia Etheridge and son Cassius, and eyewitnesses allege Bobby was super drunk on the American Airlines flight. We’re guessing Bobby was still in vacation mode! A passenger named Brian revealed to RadarOnline : “It was obvious in the terminal that he’d been drinking a lot. He was staggering and several of his family members had to hold him up in order to board the flight. Security had to check his sobriety and kept him at the jet bridge entrance until finally letting him board.” Bobby promptly passed out on the flight as soon as he was allowed on and Brian added, “He reeked of alcohol and his wife had to help him recline his seat. He was passed out for almost the entire three hour flight!” We’re just glad Bobby slept it off and did not wild out on the passengers! New Gwen Stacy says ‘it was pretty great to be together’ on ‘The Help’ set when she learned the casting news. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Emma Stone Photo: MTV News WEST HOLLYWOOD, California — In a weird twist of fate, Emma Stone found out she’d be playing Gwen Stacy in the latest installment of “Spider-Man” while on the set of “The Help” co-starring the previous franchise’s Gwen, Bryce Dallas Howard. “I found out while I was on set of ‘The Help,’ ” she said about the Andrew Garfield-starring “Amazing Spider-Man” during “The Help” Q&A session for MTV’s Sneak Peek Week. “It was pretty great to be together for that.” Howard said she was almost as excited about the casting as Stone was. “Representing as redheads!” she proclaimed onstage in front of an excited crowd at the Pacific Design Center. “I’m one of those people that goes online and reads gossip about movies, so pretty early on, there was some buzz,” she said, adding that she stormed into Stone’s trailer the minute she heard the news. “I was stoked.” With so much buzz about the new “Spider-Man” film, it seems that Stone will be just as surprised as fans to see the flick. “I’ve seen nothing, I promise. ‘Horrible Bosses’ co-star tells host Sudeikis to ‘Be all you’ on Sunday. By Ryan J. On Sunday, he’ll join a long list of “Saturday Night Live” stars who’ve hosted the MTV Movie Awards that includes Andy Samberg, Jimmy Fallon, Eddie Murphy, Mike Meyers and Dennis Miller. Nevertheless, Sudeikis told us he’ll be psyching himself up in the mirror in the moments before the show. Standing backstage with his “Horrible Bosses” co-star Jason Bateman shortly after an MTV News screening and Q&A of their comedy at the Pacific Design Center on Wednesday night, Sudeikis even offered to demonstrate some of the things he’ll be telling himself before the big show. “Remember to keep your eyes open, Jason! Nobody likes a mumbler. And, uh, ‘Got your nose!’ It’s like my catchphrase to myself. ‘Got your nose!’ ” “With a little wink?” Bateman asked. “He’s adorable!” All kidding aside, Bateman was confident that his buddy won’t need any extra coaching. “He doesn’t need any advice. This guy’s been good on his feet for years and years, that’s why he has the best job in show-business on ‘SNL.’ You people at MTV are very lucky to have him.” “We’ve kept a tight group,” Sudeikis said of his preparation process. “I’ve been very fortunate to have a lot of my friends and co-workers from ‘SNL’ helping out and they had a great group out here [in Los Angeles]. Mark Burnett, [the event producer], has been my boss in regards to this, and I’ve spoken with him twice and he’s been nice. No ‘horrible bosses’ at this point.” “Just don’t be hungover,” Bateman said, turning his eyes to Sudeikis. “Be all you. Just make sure you’re there and well rested, angel,” he added. Then he went in for a kiss ( you have to watch the video ). So what can we expect from the show? “I bet people will be screaming after certain movies are named,” Sudeikis offered. “I bet it will run exactly on time and I bet that … It’s very difficult [to predict].
