Teen Mom 2 Recap: The Puerto Rican Baby Shower Blues

This week on Teen Mom 2, Briana’s baby shower went downhill in a hurry when Luis showed up, while Jenelle finally had her day in court. Elsewhere, Kailyn struggled with juggling school, the boys, Javi, Jo, and Leah considered her all options regarding Ali’s special needs. Watch Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Episode 9 Online Yes, things got pretty rough for Kailyn on  Teen Mom 2 Season 9 Episode 9 . All those kids and dads … it’s hard emotionally. And logistically. For instance, she was forced to Lincoln and Isaac to school after realizing that Javi was driving too small of a car for their child trade-off. “The queen gets whatever she wants,” Javi snarked, even before she gave him a hard time about the process, which can be stressful. Still, the tensions get to them sometimes … like when Kail put the boys in a soundproof room to argue (they were super cute, FWIW). Later, Jo Rivera called and asked if he could see Isaac, she said no, and Jo told Vee Torres that he plans on going to court soon. The goal? To try to get more time with Isaac. As for the THIRD man in the picture these days, Kailyn seemed relatively sanguine about the prospect of raising a kid with Chris Lopez. She said he would never challenge her in court or want child support, unlike Javi and Jo … of course, if that’s true, what is the reason? Chris has been adamant about remaining off-camera and while the photo of Lopez holding Baby Lo last weekend was great, is it a priority? Does he want to be MIA whenever he wants and be present only when it’s convenient for him, not when Kailyn or the baby need him? We’re not judging or saying we can predict the future, but Lopez himself has made overtures toward being a peripheral figure at best. Just saying. And here’s hoping we won’t be. Meanwhile, Leah Messer got Ali an aide after her physical limitations continued to wreak havoc on her health, and her daily life. Chelsea also took Aubree out for a girls day out, and while MTV may try to make it appear otherwise, they are just the cutest. Jenelle finally had her day in court as her quest to win custody of Jace back reached a turning point … that did not go in her favor. Seriously, this is Jenelle we’re talking about. Finally, Briana DeJesus’ baby shower quickly took a bizarre turn when Luis Miguel and his friends showed up at it with a camera. Kailyn Lowry: Javi Marroquin Doesn’t Deserve Child Support!

Just when we thought things were going well between Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin … And hey, believe it or not, things were going well between them for a brief moment in time! Their relationship was terrible since just before Javi was deployed nearly two years ago now — it’s sort of why they got divorced. Then, when he returned home last summer, they fought and fought when Kailyn made it clear that she definitely wanted a divorce — and when she’d already moved on with Chris Lopez . Javi broke into the home they used to share, they fought some more … it was a mess. A mess that continued when, earlier this year, she felt the need to file an order of protection against him after he allegedly threatened her upon hearing the news of her pregnancy. But, as we saw on last week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn made the decision to drop the order of protection so that she and Javi could co-parent more easily. It was actually almost sweet. Then, on Monday’s episode , she was served with some papers from Javi. And just like that, the sweetness was gone. As she explained during the episode, the papers she received was a petition for child support. “He never came out and told me he was filing,” she said. “I mean, I always knew he kind of had it in his back pocket, but I didn’t think he would ever actually file.” But he did file — for “child support and medical support,” meaning he wants payments from Kailyn and he wants her to pay for insurance for Lincoln. Even though he gets health insurance for himself and Lincoln through his job in the military. “It doesn’t make sense for me to turn around and give Javi money when he already has health insurance and I already pay for his school tuition, I already pay for him to eat here, I already pay for him to be clothed here,” she complained. On top of all that, Javi apparently lives with his parents, which equals free childcare for Lincoln. “So what exactly do you need the child support for?” she pondered. She said that Javi told her he wanted child support payments to set up a savings account for Lincoln, but she doesn’t think that’s the case. “It’s because he wants to be spiteful and he wants the money,” she insisted. Kailyn admits that receiving those papers was “like a slap in the face,” but that nothing he does surprises her anymore. So who’s right here? Is Javi being petty, or does he actually deserve child support? Honestly, it’s hard to say. It does seem strange that he’s asking for Kailyn to provide health insurance for Lincoln when we know that he does get it for free through the Air Force. But as for the money? He might have a point there. We have to assume that, as a Teen Mom on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn makes a considerable amount of money — way more than Javi. And if they have 50/50 custody, she could be obligated to hand over some of that money, according to the law. Jacob Roloff: Why Is His Girlfriend Leaving Social Media?!?

Isabel Rock has people talking. And wondering. And asking many, many questions. This is the first question you may be asking: Who is Isabel Rock? She’s the girlfriend of Jacob Roloff, the former Little People, Big World cast member who quit the TLC reality show last summer amidst allegations that the show is phony and scripted. Over the past year or so, Rock and Roloff have been on a constant road trip, traveling along the Pacific Northwest with their two dogs. Which brings us to Friday and Isabel’s mysterious Instagram post. It opened as follows: “Have you ever been faced with a life changing decision? If you choose one way, your life will change drastically.. but if you choose another, your life will also change drastically,” she wrote. Rock went on to ponder: But which one is the ‘right’ one?! To what could Rock be referring? A marriage proposal, perhaps?!? “You’ve prayed, you have weighed the pros and cons. Still, your mind says one thing and your heart says another,” wrote Rock, adding: “I know, FOLLOW YOUR HEART. My heart is always going to tell me to be free, be somebody who can always move with the wind, never tie yourself down because it’s just not you. Ah, it’s a tough call I am going to have to make.” Tie yourself down, huh? This sounds very much like Jacob asked for her hand in marriage. But that’s merely a guess on our part.” “I have to decide what my future will look like. It’s the 1st of September. A fresh start. I think I’m going to start it with a social media break,” concluded Isabel. “Because, well, let’s face it… Scrolling my Instagram feed is not helping me any right now. So, send good thoughts my way as I try to navigate this next season of life.” Perplexing, isn’t it? Isabel and Jacob often include photos of each other on their social media feeds. But they rarely discuss their romance in public. It’s also possible Roloff wants to return to Little People, Big World and Isabel wants no part of the series. Only time will tell, we suppose. Brandy and Monica Wish Whitney Houston a Happy Birthday. Bitter Chaos Ensues.

Brandy Norwood and Monica Brown each jumped on Instagram yesterday to wish Whitney Houston a posthumous happy birthday. The legendary singer, who died of a drug overdose in 2012 , would have been 54 years old on Wednesday. Why is this noteworthy? Why are we writing about the seemingly innocent act of two artists acknowledging someone who has a great influence on their career? Because the birthday wishes devolved into a reignition of an old feud between Brandy and Monica, culminating in the former going off on an angry rant against all haters on Instagram. We’ll start with Monica’s message in honor of Houston. It included a black and white photo of the late superstar, along with the following caption: Happy Heavenly Birthday Nippy … You still inspire many & touch hearts daily… You will forever be the greatest …. You will forever be missed. Pretty simple and very sweet. A few hours later, Brandy shared a collection of photos of herself and Houston, writing a lengthy note alongside it that reads as follows: Lord have mercy on my soul!!! Happy Born Day Whitney. You live on in me… I can feel your Spirit inside of me and all around me. My angel, my friend, my fairy God Mother. I love you forever… thank you for trusting me with the torch!!! I remember every moment with you and I and I will cherish these miraculous moments forever and ever! I love you….  Also pretty simple and very sweet? Nope, not according to critics who destroyed Brandy for turning Whitney’s birthday into an occasion that celebrates her. (We’re not sure if we agree with each of the critiques below, but it is rather comical for Brandy to claim Houston passed her the “torch.” Has anyone ever considered Brandy to be the next Whitney Houston?!?) “There’s a BIG difference in Monica & Brandy’s posts about Whitney today,” wrote one Twitter user. “Only one of them was actually about Whitney.” Here’s a look at what a few others had to say: In response to these attacks, Brandy – who starred opposite Houston in a movie version of Cinderella and whose brother starred in the Kim Kardashian sex tape – wrote a long and bitter message to Monica and her supporters. And we mean LONG and BITTER. Get comfortable and check it out below: “Monica needs to really check her evil ass fans. “It’s so much stuff I can post about the hateful things they say to me… but I will never have time for that. Always thinking something is about her. If this was rap or hip hop you would be praised for speaking your mind but since it’s rnb you have to take the so called high road… “well because I can rap just look at this as my high road.” In conclusion, wrote Brandy: Too real to be fake and because this is my idols birthday, I’m allowed to defend my position in her life and hers in mine. Beyonce Looks Like She Never Even Gave Birth to Twins

Let the conspiracy theories explode across the Internet once again. Because we can’t help but wonder: Did Beyonce really give birth to twins in mid-June?!? Questions about the legitimacy of the singer’s pregnancy are circulating once again after Beyonce shared a trio of new photos on her official website. They each feature her on the way to a Kendrick Lamar concert in Los Angeles this week, and they each depict the superstar in a Fila crop top. She’s also wearing an oversized Mistress Rocks camouflage jacket, high-waisted black Coal N Terry shorts and a pair of leather boots. Oh, and she looks FRICKIN AMAZING! This person really squeezed two babies out of her body less than two months ago?!? (We don’t actually doubt that she did. We’re kidding about the whole conspiracy thing. But, man. Beyonce is not of this world.) As is often the case when Beyonce shares pictures on her website, the artist did not include any captions with the images. She let her svelte, post-babies figure speak for itself. And what it basically says is this: I am a workout and diet and overall goddess and you should be grateful I let you live in my world . The day before these sizzling snapshots hit the Internet, Beyonce photographed heading to a Los Angeles gym with Jay-Z and Kelly Rowland. A witness told E! News of the sighting: “Beyoncé walked out with a towel, and she looked like she had a serious sweat session. Jay-Z was in a great mood and so was Kelly. They all looked exasperated but thrilled.” That’s sort of how we feel when looking at these images. The legendary singer has also been attending SoulCycle class over the past few weeks and “easing into” her typically intense workout and diet regimen. Yes, she “still recovering” from giving birth, writes E!, but the website adds that she’s shed so many pounds so quickly by “drinking many green juices and trying to watch what she puts in her body.” Beyonce and her famous husband have named their twins Sir and Rumi Carter . The stars have rented out a mansion in Malibu to parent their kids in privacy, with an insider previously explaining how they are tired but very happy. Jay-Z is reportedly helping out as much as he can at home, while each parent is also making a point to spend a lot of time with five-year old daughter Blue Ivy. They don’t want her to feel left out in all this twins-based excitement. ” They are totally exhausted , but at the same time have never been happier as a family,” a source close to the situation explains. Big Brother Recap: Is Josh Ready to Ditch Paul?

We think it’s fair to say that Big Brother 19 has featured some of most epic arguments in the history of Big Brother, and it’s making for a house divided.  When the episode got underway, Josh made his way to Jessica to let her know that she is not his target. Jessica was not about to bow down to him, so she mocked him once again.  Over the course of the summer, the pair has been at odds every step of the way, so it made sense that Jess would think Josh was trying to stir the pot.  Josh then lets her know that it’s only Cody he does not like, and Cody was in the room, so it was a rather ballsy move when you consider that Cody has immunity.  Jessica is not one to allow anyone to talk badly about her man of so many weeks, so she exits the conversation and brands it a big fat waste of time.  When it came to veto plans, Paul recalled that Christmas had the Ring of Replacement, and decided to use it to his advantage. He wanted her to use it in the event Cody’s name is called.  However, Paul revealed in the Diary Room that he wants Christmas to use it so that he can flush it out of the game so that she does not use it against him later.  Not one to listen to the leader, Christmas turned to Josh, and he told her not to use it so they can have it at their disposal later.  They tell Paul that they don’t want to use the power this week, but Paul turns the tables and reiterates that they absolutely need to send Jessica home or there will be hell to pay.  Christmas then says the best course of action is if Josh blinks at Christmas during the players being picked. That way she will know to use it.  When Cody’s name is picked, Josh blinks, and Christmas shuts him right out of the competition. This sends Jessica and Cody into a fit of despair as they realize the odds are stacked against them.  It’s the OTEV competition, and Elena is first out. Jessica is out second and starts crying again because she knows that means she is going home.  Mark ultimately wins the competition, meaning Josh needs to name a replacement nominee.  In the end, Josh puts up Raven, meaning she joins Elena and Jessica on the block.  It’s obvious that Jessica is going home, so there’s really no question about it.  Who do you want to go home?
