I attended my first Justin Bieber concert in the fall of 2010 on the My World Tour. My second time seeing him was in the fall of 2012 on the Believe Tour. Once I heard that he was adding a second leg to the Believe Tour, I couldn’t wait to get tickets. I saw that he was going to be in Atlanta and that it would be his last show in the U.S. I am from Kentucky and the drive to Atlanta is around 8 hours, but my mom knows how big of a fan I am, even though I am 22 years old. It just so happened that my mom has a friend that works at Philips Arena. She messaged him about getting us tickets and he was very happy to do so. Immediately I was so excited. I found out I would be going in December and the concert was not until August, so obviously it was a very long 8 months. My mom and I watched Justin’s movie ‘Never Say Never’ so many times this winter just to keep my spirits up. Before each of my surgeries, I listened to his music, especially ‘Pray,’ and that helped to calm my nerves. Being able to attend his concert after being so sick only made it that much more special! But finally, the day was here! My best friend who I had gone to the other two concerts with came with my mom and me as well. We drove half way Friday night and the made our way to Atlanta the day of the concert. As you would imagine, the day seemed to drag on and on because we were so anxious. We had Row A tickets in the middle section of the lower arena, so we were super excited about that. All three of us were finally ready for the concert as my friend and I wore our shirts that said, “No one is immune to Bieber Fever” and my mom had on her purple shirt. I kept thinking in the back of my mind that maybe… just maybe my mom’s friend could get us backstage or something but he never mentioned it to us so I decided not to get my hopes up. Now that it was 2 hours before the concert, I thought there was no possible way and had given up. We were literally on our way to the arena from our hotel when my mom got a call from her friend that said, “Hey! So do you think the girls would want to meet Justin?” Is that even a serious question? Who would ever say no to that question? We freaked out and started running towards the arena. We got to the doors and there was a lady waiting there for us with 3 meet and greet passes. I literally could not believe it. We were about to meet Justin! We got taken back to a lounge with only two other families. We had to wait for maybe over an hour before we were finally in the line with hundreds of other girls! When it was finally my turn, the curtain opened, and there he was! Standing there smiling as I walked towards him, with his arms open wide for me to give him a hug. I said, “Its so nice to meet you!” And he said “Aw it’s nice to meet you too!” He then put his arm around me and we took the picture. I was allowed to stand there as my mom and my best friend had their pictures taken as well. My mom asked him, “How are you today, sweetie?” And he replied “I’m good ma’am, how are you?” We could not believe how incredibly sweet he was. He exceeded our expectations in every way possible.  Thank you so much, Justin! July 23 2013, a.k.a the best day of our lives. We had absolutely no idea we were going to meet THE REAL Justin Bieber until the day of the actual concert. I had already gotten floor seats concert tickets for my friend Luana and I one week before the concert in Ottawa which is pretty exciting on it’s own, that is before we found out we were meeting Justin. My friend and I were getting ready for our road trip to the concert in OTTAWA and we still had no idea we were meeting Justin Bieber. Finally we got into the car and 5 minutes into the drive we get a phone call from one of our other friends (Katie saying) “My dad was able to get three meet and greet tickets, do you guys want to come?” I told her “Is that even a question? Like hello. Hi. I’ve been waiting forever to meet him. OF COURSE!” Obviously I started freaking out and was super excited because I was not expecting this AT ALL and because  not only was it going to be my second time seeing Justin perform live in concert during the Believe tour, but that I WAS NOW MEETING HIM. We finally arrived at the venue and we run inside to meet Katie. We got the wrist bands and put them on. Before we knew it was our turn to go in. Katie had gone in before Luana and I and was able to get her own picture which worked out because then we would all get a chance to be next to him. As Luana and I walked towards him he was just looking straight at us with his hands crossed in front of him. Luana went to his right and I went to his left and and we said, “Hiiiii” and I put my hand around his waist for the picture and before the picture was taken he said “How old are you pretty ladies?” We told him that we were 16 and then we took the picture. He then said, “Ahhhhhh 16 why can’t you beautiful girls be 18?” Then said, “In two years you girls will be 18 and will come back right?” and at that point we were dead and had absolutely nothing to say. I was going to ask him for a hug but the security guards went in front of him so that made me sad but then I said thank you so much and he said, “Thank you so much, see you girls sooon!” I would have hugged him, kissed him, told him I LOVED HIM, but we were rushed out. In the moment we froze and no words would come out of our my mouths, but on the bright side I MEAN, JUSTIN BIEBER DID CALL US PRETTY AND ASKED US OLD WE WERE. Plus I finally got to meet my favourite person in the entire world so that’s all that matters. We then got to watch his beautiful face perform for 2 hours and it was an amazing experience and a day I will certainly never forget. Justin really does know what he’s talking about, “NEVER SAY NEVER”. My name is Dominique and I’m from Gatineau, Quebec. On November 23rd, 2012 my best friend Jolaine, and I went to Justin Bieber’s concert in Ottawa. It was the best day of our life til now. On Febuary 2013, Pierre, a good friend of my mom and I, heard about Make-A-Wish Foundation . He gave my name to them and on March 29th 2013, I received pretty good news! My dream of meeting Justin Bieber was on the way to come true! I was far away on the waiting list and Tanya (the girl who was responsible for my wish) told me on July 15th that my dream would probably come true in two or three years. After hard work from her and her team, she told me four days later that I would meet him in Ottawa on July 23rd with my parents and my best friend. I was so excited! I received a lot of gifts from Make-A-Wish before going to the Canadian Tire Center such as gift certificates from the Bayshore, free manicures and pedicures, two nights at the Brookstreet Hotel and a special meeting with Cody Simpson. When the BIG night arrived, we took a beautiful limousine to get to the arena. Over there, we waited for two long hours in a special room, the one where all Justin Bieber’s crowd was eating. We saw dancers and musicians, Kenny Hamilton (he gave us two kisses on the cheek!), Scrappy, Pattie Mallette and Dan Kanter (he took a picture with me and gave me his guitar pic!). My best friend and I were shaking so bad. We had difficulties to breathe. Kenny finally arrived at 7:30 p.m. to tell us that Justin was ready to meet us. We got to the small dark room where he made his M&G a few minutes before. There he was in front of me. Justin put his two hands on my legs, I put my two hands on his and he said, “Wow, you’re so gorgeous!” I cannot believe that my idol said that to me! Then he pulled me on my wheelchair to take me with him on the red carpet to take some pictures. He asked, “Do you have any question for me? I said: “Hm, yes! Well, my dream to meet you is coming true right now. But I want to know what is YOUR dream now that you have everything? ” He responded, “Well my dream is to make all my fans, all my beliebers, everybody …I want to make you happy.” I hurried to say, “Your dream comes true too, because I’m so happy right now!” He made his little, “Awww.” During the conversation, we were looking and smiling at each other like crazy. For the pictures, he put his arm around me and smiled at the camera. Then, without any notice, he put his lips on my right cheek to give me a kiss. AND WHAT A KISS! It lasted about 10 seconds while he was moving his lips and smiling! I’m so glad to confirm that Justin has kissable lips haha. After that, he went towards my best friend and she thought he was only going to give her a handshake but he hugged her so hard! She felt like she was in paradise! He also brought my parents at the front with me to take another picture with us. About 30 seconds later, he signed my three things. First he signed his biography and added a big heart at the bottom! Then, he signed my Make-A-Wish shirt that I was wearing. Last thing was my prom dress. I gave it to him and he looked very surprised! He said, “Wow, you must look so wonderful in this!” Finally came the difficult time to say goodbye. He gave me a big hug and he said goodbye us. Once he left I started to cry because it was the best moment of my life, it was absolutely magic! My dream came true, but I still have the dream to meet him again. We went to see the show and it was totally amazing! He sang O’ Canada and guess what? He was shirtless for 4 song! I want to thank Make-A-Wish foundation for making this happen and Justin, if you ever see this message, I want to thank you for this incredible moment. My name is Rebecca. I am fifteen years old and I live in Chicago, Illinois. My life changed forever on July 8, 2013 when I got the email that I have been praying for. I was notified that I have been picked as a winner for the BieberFever contest at 7:59 PM the night before my concert. I was literally crying and shaking as I read that I was going to meet Justin the very next day. I have been supporting him since early 2010, and this would be my first time meeting him. The next morning my younger sister, my mom, and I took the train downtown and rode a taxi to the United Center. We quickly made some friends who were other winners, and waited around in line after line. Finally, we were taken to the very last line. There we saw many familiar faces such as Kenny, Scooter, Alfredo, Dan, Jen Laski, Hot Chelle Rae, Carlena Britch, Elysandra Quinones, Johnny Erasme, and Luke Broadlick. Before I knew it, we were next in line to meet Justin. I was shaking at this point. Just before going in security told us, “No hugs. No kisses. You are in, then you’re out.” When I got my first glimpse of Justin, I said (louder then I should have), “Oh my gosh! He doesn’t even look real!” Justin smirked at me and giggled a little. I went in and claimed my spot in the picture right next to Justin, and my sister stood next to me. My sister lost it and started to cry, so Justin leaned over towards my sister and said, “Don’t cry honey. This is a happy moment,” with a big smile on his face. When he comforted my sister, he was literally INCHES from my face. Then Mike the photographer said, “Ok stop crying. We need to take the picture.” Everyone was in place for the photo and my hand was on Justin’s waist, and he was rubbing my back. I had always imagined what I would say at my M&G, but how could you think straight when Justin Bieber is rubbing your back? After the picture, I asked Justin if I could please have a hug and he replied, “Of course sweetheart,” and he pulled me in really close and squeezed me tightly in his muscular arms. I held on to him until security tapped my arm, and hinted it was time to go. When he let go, Justin looked into my eyes and said, “Enjoy the show.” As I walked out I said, “I love you!” and he smiled really big at me again. As soon as I walked out, I completely lost it and balled my eyes out. We found our seats in section 315, and had a blast. Justin performed an amazing show, of course. His vocals were spot on, and all the creativity that goes into Believe Tour was nothing short of incredible. I met the boy on the posters in my room, and nobody can take that away from me. No amount of teasing can take away the fact that he held me in his arms and pulled me in close. I am eternally grateful that I have had this opportunity. If you’re reading this and thinking you don’t have a chance to meet Justin, I know it sounds cheesy, but never say never. Oscar Pistorius Mourns Reeva Steenkamp One Year After Killing Her

For Oscar Pistorius, the beloved athlete who went from inspiration to murder suspect, Valentine’s Day 2014 marks the one-year anniversary of his girlfriend’s death. The South African, a double amputee who became a global sensation at the 2012 London Olympics, has been charged with the murder of Reeva Steenkamp. The 27-year-old wrote Friday in a statement: “No words can adequately capture my feelings about the devastating accident that has caused such heartache for everyone who truly loved – and continues to love Reeva.” “The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day … the pain and sadness, especially for Reeva’s parents, family and friends, consumes me with sorrow. ” “I will carry with me for the rest of my life.” Oscar Pistorius will stand trial on March 3. The track star faces the charge of premeditated murder , which carries a minimum sentence of 25 years in prison. Pistorius repeatedly denied the allegation, claiming he mistook Reeva Steenkamp for an intruder when he shot her four times through a locked bathroom door. A judge will deliver a verdict in the case, as there is no trial by jury in South Africa. Pistorius, who is out on bail, also faces charges of firing a gun in a public space.
