As the nation narrowly avoided plunging over the fiscal cliff , Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner took a plunge of their own, getting married on New Year’s Eve! The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony at the Playboy Mansion. Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris were originally supposed to walk down the aisle in June 2011, but she called off the wedding days before it was scheduled. They reconciled earlier this year and got engaged just a few months ago. Then the pair finally married their roller coaster romance official Monday, and from the looks and sounds of it, a joyous time was had by all as we bid adieu to 2012. Hef tweeted out the photo above after the ceremony, offering fans a look at Crystal’s dress and writing “Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!” Harris, who’s already going by “Crystal Hefner” on Twitter now, added, “Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed.” This is the first marriage for Crystal, 26, and the third for Hugh, 86, who has four adult children from his two previous wives. Sources confirm to TMZ that the Boss star partied the evening away at the Playboy Mansion on Saturday, celebrating well past midnight at a table alongside Paris Hilton — with three-month old Faith by his side the entire time! The child was seated in her bassinet as the music blared, witnesses say, with no word on whether or not Grammer’s wife, Kayte Walsh , was at the party. But would it really matter? As a Playmate rightfully asked/Tweeted: “Why the fk does Kelsey Grammer have a newborn baby at the Mansion party!?!?!?” We are awaiting an answer from the actor.
