Ireland Baldwin or dump truck monster woman brought out her 7 foot tall, 250 pound body into a bikini, because she genuinely thinks she’s a model. Which is hilarious. There was an Alec Baldwin Roast that I am hoping no one watched because comedy is a fucking waste of time. If you are inclined to watch it, I can save you an hour of your life and say that they basically covered everything I say here about Ireland Baldwin, not because I am some innovative thinker, but because her story is basically being called a pig on her voicemail while her dad was raging, that he dipped out and saw as little of her as possible, so he took the lessons learned from his failed family, and started a new one, with a tight bodied yoga instructor to offset the shame and disappointment that is Ireland….I guess it is presented more humoristically, but as sad and dark as it likely is for a young rich kid….who has deep rooted daddy issues leading to titty content like this. This is not a good thing. From shitty tattoos to shitty faces. Forever a shadow of her parents but at least her rent will always be paid thanks to trust funds and such. One of the big problems with the social media age is that many people find themselves constantly comparing their own circumstances with the lives of others. For example, the camping trip you took in July may have been the highlight of your summer, but when held up against that European backpacking excursion your Instagram mutual keeps posting about, it looks pretty lame. Nowhere is the phenomenon more evident than in the rebellion of Jinger Duggar. Many young adults who make a conscious decision to live in defiance of their parents belief system do so by getting neck tattoos, living in yurts, or supporting Andrew Yang. Jinger’s dissent takes a much more subtle form, but it’s no less courageous. In fact, given how strict her upbringing was and how much she has to lose, there’s more bravery in Jinger wearing pants than in your typical millennial pursuing a bachelor’s degree in pole dancing studies. First, Jinger married a man her parents don’t approve of, Then, with his permission, she defied the famous Duggar dress. Earlier this year, Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo relocated to Los Angeles , a move her famously ultra-conservative parents most definitely did not approve of. The situation has become so dire that rumors of Jim Bob and Michelle disowning Jinger have been circulating non-stop on social media. We doubt things are quite that bad, but it’s evident that Jinger is not her parent’s favorite these days. (Jim Bob and Michelle have yet to visit the Vuolos in LA, and contact between the two couples is limited.) Through it all, Jinger has continued to wear the clothing that was strictly off-limits during her upbringing. And many fans think she’s doing so in defiance of her ultra conservative father: That’s a recent photo of Jinger spending some quality time with her eldest sister, Jana. It certainly looks innocent enough at first glance, but as you can see Jinger’s shoulders are exposed, which is a major no-no in the Duggar dress code. Jinger has permission from her husband to dress less conservatively than her sisters (like we said, all rebellions are relative), but you can bet her father is less than thrilled with this pic. Add to that the fact that Jinger appers to be passing her rebellious spirit onto her daughter, and it’s very possible that Jim Bob hit the roof: Yes, little Felicity is also rocking a sleveless top. It’s unclear if the dress code is as strict for young children, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this were Jinger’s subtle way of sending a message to her overbearing father. “Her outfit is so cute!” one commenter wrote. “Awww she is such a beautiful little girl like her momma!!” a second added. “My daughter has that same outfit!!!” A recent trailer for the upcoming season of Counting On teased a scene in which Jinger and Michelle finally have a frank discussion about her attire. “There is a lot in the media saying there is conflict between you guys about your choice to wear pants. Is there conflict?” a producer asks. Sadly, it looks like we’ll have to wait for the season premiere for her answer. Fortunately, it’s Jinger we’re talking about, so you can be sure she’ll speak her mind: View Slideshow: Counting On Sneak Peek: Jinger Duggar’s Rebellion, A Tragic Death, And MANY Pregnancies!
Source: NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images / Getty We LOVE “Bluff City Law” And You Will Too The EMMY’s are done but many of your favorite shows are returning this week with new episodes. But there’s also a fresh crop of new shows — some of which we’ve already previewed and can put you on notice to plan to watch (or set your DVR’s) now. In August BOSSIP’s Senior Content Director Janeé Bolden traveled to Memphis to interview the cast of NBC’s new series “Bluff City Law,” which premieres TONIGHT on NBC at 10/9 c. Set in Memphis, TN, the series follows Jimmy Smits as Elijah Strait, a successful lawyer known for crusading for victims of civil and human rights violations as well as other injustices. Things get really interesting for Strait after his philanthropist wife passes away, bringing him closer to his estranged daughter Sydney, played by Caitlin McGee. Sydney has been making big bank representing corporations since leaving her father’s firm years ago, but her mother’s death brings them together and when he asks her to rejoin the firm, she agrees. The show has a feel good element, both because Straits firm is known for fighting the good fight for the downtrodden and doing their part to stick it to corporate greedmongers. In addition to Smits and McGee the ensemble cast includes “Hamilton” star Michael Luwoye, Jayne Atkinson, Stony Blyden, Barry Sloane and newcomer MaameYaa Boafo (a delightful actress who we are sure will charm TV watchers as much as she did this BOSSIP journalist). We also have to mention Josh Kelly, who plays Sydney’s ex-husband Robbie, a police officer who proves particularly helpful in the pilot episode. We sense a love triangle brewing between Robbie, Sydney and her new coworker, Jake Reilly (played by Sloane). Check out a little featurette about the family dynamic between Elijah and Sydney below: We asked Smits about the estrangement and how the show will follow their struggle to find common footing. “No matter what area you’re in, people who are very successful in whatever chosen field, they are often seen a certain way by their children,” Smits told BOSSIP. “They know the flaws. What we talked about was Sydney was probably with the firm at one time and he was very hard on her, that kind of thing , that plus what little she knew about the relationship thing with the mother, we have that rebellion thing that happens and she’s decided to go polar opposite to what the family built and the way she was brought up to be very inclusive and this area of the law that she is very cutthroat, totally different thing. In the pilot they talk about being able to use both of their strengths.” If you can’t already tell, the stories hit a very human chord, with some of the cases pulled from actual lawsuits that are currently being fought. The case Sydney fights in the premiere episode definitely mirrors the Monsantos Roundup lawsuit, but Caitlin McGee told BOSSIP that she took the series’ “Change The World” tagline to heart and made sure show writers were aware of the issues she feels most strongly about. “Yeah, I told the writers and said it in interviews before,” McGee told BOSSIP. “The things that I’m most passionate about – my cousin is trans and she hasn’t had the easiest time of it – I am the “B” in the LGBTQ community, it’s very important for me to represents every single walk of life and specifically Black Lives Matter. There’s a lot of things that I need to see that have already been addressed by our writers, either in coming episodes or in the current episodes. So not just holding big companies accountable, which is incredibly important writing about that in a negative form so that it’s not just a headline that we click on and then forget about. The first time that I saw the actual man who was behind the Monsanto case, when I saw the lesions on his face, that’s gonna stick with me for the rest of my life, that’s going to make me care about the case even more, so if our show gets to do that and represent the people that are just part of the headline, as a real human person and that sticks to someone, then that is beyond anything I care about as an actress because we’re lacking empathy in this world at the moment and I wish we had a little more of it.” McGee wasn’t the only one to bring her personal concerns into the writers room, MaameYaa Boafo told BOSSIP how show writers and producers also made her feel welcome when she came to them regarding Episode 5 of the series. “There is an episode that I had one scene in, and based on what the topic was, I asked to sit down with the producers and explain why it was important for my character to be in the courtroom when this case is happening and they added me in it,” Boafo told BOSSIP. “I don’t say much, but I’m so excited because it’s all about the action and I’m really appreciative that the writers and producers can sit down with someone like me, who is the newbie out of all of us and take what I have to say into consideration. They make me feel that at this point now that they’ve given this part to me, that I know this person, that I know Brianna better than everyone. I know they do this for all of us. It’s wonderful to feel heard and I’m only going to pull that card when I feel that it’s important for Brianna’s presence, or voice or opinion or point of view to be a part of what that case brings.” Hit the flip for more from our interview
Source: Rich Polk / Getty If you are a Pose FX fan like me, I’m sure you were looking all over the 2019 Emmy Awards red carpet to see which of the cast members would show up. While we got daring looks from Billy Porter and Indya Moore looked like a dream, we loved this effortless high ponytail that actress and activist Angelica Ross was sporting! Her hairstyle was completed by celebrity hairstylist Cesar Ramirez who commented, “Angelica Ross is not only a good friend, but also a brilliant actress.” We agree! He added, “I jumped at the opportunity to work with her for this year’s Emmy Red Carpet look.” Ross wore a custom Michael Costello gown that Ramirez stated, “was absolutely stunning with all of it’s intricate 3D flowers.” Her dress was meant to be the standout so Ramirez wanted “to keep her hair young, effortless and off the shoulders to show off the full details of the gown.” Ponytails were trending at NYFW and have been a staple on the red carpet for a few seasons now. Cesar Ramirez gave us the step by step details on how to achieve this look at home! Keep reading to find out how you can get the look in 5 easy steps!

She has also booked herself on segments on The Wendy Williams Show and Dr. OZ without an agent or a manager! “Be yourself everyone else is already taken,” the phrase emblazoned in neon ink on the business cards of model Althea Smith was meant to advocate for authenticity. What she didn’t know was the potential of her authenticity to be isolating. In an exclusive interview with Hello Beautiful the CurvyNoire model search winner and business owner recalled her previous experience model and advocated for the need for diversity on every runway. A former fashion student at a popular technical college she picked up knowledge that she is able to apply in propelling her career to the next level. Some of that knowledge includes being able to see the Despite having a ton of grassroots experience walking and fitting for designers like Michi Knitwear, Classic Royalty, Jibri Online, Elila Full Figure Jordan Taylor, Sasha Uzuri, and Etched Lingerie she still took it upon herself to enter Hello Beautiful’s search on the off chance that it might introduce her killer walk to a whole new audience. So that’s how I feel disappointed.” CurvyNoire was unlike these shows as it was focused on celebrating women of all sizes and not tokenizing them including Smith who stalked the runway like a seasoned professional. “I liked that the designers had fun and fashionable pieces for us, so that was really cool and there was more than one designer that had pieces for us.” View this post on Instagram “Can my Pharoah find some way to entertain his Queen?” . And while you’re at it, go get a bucket to wash my feet A post shared by iamthequeen87 (@iamthequeen87) on Jul 30, 2019 at 4:34pm PDT The show was unlike many others Smith had done in that it presented a variety of women who might have been told their looks were “too similar” to appear on other runways . Often when chosen from a casting she searched for she would find she was the only one to appear with the “straight size models,” and in that triumph was a little frustration. “The power of modeling is so people can see that there’s more than one thing just like how they have the Victoria’s Secret show they could have twenty white girls that all look the same. Five of them look a little different, five of them could have red hair, you know what I’m saying it’s about the diversity of us too. A lot of the times they have one plus girl or one black girl. They want to put us in this category like that one token plus girl that one token black girl and I kind of want to be added to the roster to show that there’s more than one type of curvy girl.” View this post on Instagram Hakuna Matata A post shared by iamthequeen87 (@iamthequeen87) on Jul 20, 2019 at 9:39am PDT In addition to pursuing a modeling career, and promoting fitness from the perspective of a curvy girl, Smith has several other business ventures she is investing into while working to make her dreams come true. “I do makeup, I sell jewelry, and I have a beverages company now.” That fledgling company Queen Beverages is a nod to her Caribbean heritage, something she values. But apparently, one fan at a recent concert didn’t get the message. On Friday night, the North Carolina rapper was performing at the Prime Festival in Lansing, Michigan. During his set, video footage posted by the folks over at TMZ shows a fan reaching up to him, seemingly to snatch the jewelry right off his neck. When he makes contact DaBaby’s chain, the performer immediately throws a punch and then retreats to the stage to avoid anyone else in the crowd trying something similar. See for yourself down below: As we mentioned previously, people should really know by now that DaBaby is ’bout it. He famously posted before and after shots of a fellow Carolina rapper who tried to follow him around while he was shopping at Louis Vuitton . It’s not a secret that our children’s hair has been under attack lately , but one little Nashville girl is turning being bullied into a moment of empowerment and self-love. This week, middle school student Promise Sawyers posted an amazing video of herself explaining how regardless of being made fun of, she will continue to keep wearing her natural afro “bigger and better” to school. “I told my mom and she said, “Don’t forget who you are and whose you are! And I said, “Okay. So today, I’m going back to school and I’m coming back bigger and better. And don’t allow anyone to steal your joy, don’t give them that much power. I am Promise Miamor Sawyers” The fifth-grader told FOX 17 Nashville News that when she started the school year at Head Middle Magnet she was wearing braids, but decided to take them out and rock her afro. But the kids at her school had a lot “of mean things to say.” According to FOX 17, her mother, Qui Daugherty, said that “in their house, they meet negativity with positivity,” so before Promise went to school the next day, she “asked her how she felt that morning.” “I felt confident and pretty,” Sawyers replied but says she was discouraged by all the negative comments. “At my old school, people thought my hair was cool.” That’s when Promise made her video to hype herself up for the day. “The video was made at that point, like she’s really taking a stance,” Daugherty told Yahoo Lifestyle . “The immediate family was more proud of that moment, but we had no idea the impact that it was gonna make and the amount of messages.” Since the video went on social media, it’s garnered more than 2 million views and more than 100K shares. Looking at all of the positive comments, Daughtery feels “blessed.” “It’s impacted people in so many different ways. It’s made a huge impact behind the scenes that has blessed me personally.” Promise has also inspired Kelly Clarkson who had her on her show on Friday, along with Tracee Ellis Ross , who said that she was “empowered” by the middle schooler. “I saw your video and I was so moved because your hair is an extension of your legacy, what you come from, your story and everything that you are and your beauty,” the Golden Globe winner said to Promise, who was in tears. “And I am so glad that you know that at 10-years-old what it took me so long to learn about myself. Source: MediaNews Group/The Mercury News via Getty Images / Getty Vallejo Police Department Sued By Residents For Civil Rights Violations Vallejo residents are sick and tired of being on the receiving end of racism, brutality, and police violence by local authorities and they’re going to court seeking justice. According to The Guardian, the people of Vallejo have filed a lawsuit against the city for numerous civil rights violations in the wake of the 55-shot killing of a sleeping Willie McCoy earlier this year. Delon Thurston, a massage therapist, is one of those suing. She says she was driving home from work last October when a Vallejo police officer pulled her over for allegedly making “an abrupt left turn” and then along with another officer “dragged” her out of her car and threatened her with a Taser. The officers then forcibly searched her body, touching her breasts and genitals, she alleges “I honestly felt like it was a Sandra Bland moment,” Thurston said, referring to the 28-year-old black woman who died of apparent suicide in a Texas jail cell after being arrested during a traffic stop in 2015. “I didn’t know what was going to happen to me and I had to breathe all the way through it and be antagonized all the way to the station and I never got read my rights as they were pushing my face to the cement.” Another *alleged* victim of police misconduct, Deyana Jenkins, claims she was pulled over at gunpoint for no reason and shocked with a taser before being arrested or read her rights. Adrian Burrell had his head slammed against a wooden post after he refused to stop recording officers holding his cousin at gunpoint. This is the type of s#!t that makes us hate and fear the police. We can only hope that these lawsuits yield results that hold cops accountable.
Back in July, Amber Portwood was arrested after allegedly assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon. The details of the incident were brutal — according to the police report, Amber attacked Andrew with a machete and struck him while he held the couple's 1-year-old son — and things only got worse from there. At this point, several audio recordings have emerged in which Amber threatens to kill Andrew and can be heard assaulting him in the presence of their baby. Fans assumed such horrific abuse would result in Amber being fired from Teen Mom OG — but according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup , Portwood still has her job at MTV. Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. Unscathed Amber Portwood has been accused of truly horrific acts of abuse, and there’s a mountain of evidence pointing to her guilt. Despite this, it seems she has not been fired from Teen Mom OG. 2. Getting Away With It In a shocking new report from The Ashley’s Reality roundup, a production insider confirms that Portwood still has a job, and will continue to appear on new episodes of Teen Mom OG. 3. A Baffling Decision “Amber has 100 percent filmed for the new season,” says the source. “She is not being fired by MTV.” 4. Letting It Ride It seems insane that MTV and parent company Viacom would risk so much by continuing to employ someone who is quite clearly guilty of domestic abuse. 5. Ratings Rule But it seems the powers that be believe Portwood’s story will continue to attract viewers. And with ratings at an all-time low, TMOG needs all the help it can get. 6. Courtoom Drama “[The producers] plan to film with Amber through her court trial [for the domestic battery charges],” says the insider. View Slideshow
Simly put, you guys? Maddie Brown for all the wins. Seriously… every last one of them. The daughter Kody and Janelle Brown welcomed her second child into the world back on August 20. The blessed news was kept quiet for a short period of time, prior to the proud grandmother posting a picture of Maddie’s kids and writing as a caption: Axel loves his new little sister Evie (Short for Evangalynn)! Please tell me that other grandmothers can stare at their grandkids photos forever. #grandkids. Since then, Maddie has been kind enough to post a number of adorable pictures of little Evie, including this one immediately below, which features husband Caleb as well: We love it. We also love both the latest snapshot Maddie has published to her Instagram account, along with the amazing caption she included along with it. In the photo, as you’re about to see, little Evangalynn is wearing a floral top and donning a yellow bow. The photo went out to Maddie’s 220,000 followers, as did this simple and motivational sentence: I hope I raise her to think she breathes fire! Simply perfect, right? Both the little girl and also Maddie’s message here, that she wants Evie to grow up to be strong and confident and ready to take on the world. With Sister Wives set to premiere amidt a flurry of troubling rumors regarding Kody and his better halves, it’s refreshing to have some positive news once in relation to this family. It’s a welcome change, in our opinion. To keep the smiles flowing, here’s another look at Axel and Evie: “Someone once told me parenthood consists of a lot of long days and short years. Something that hits home so hard,” Brown wrote on Instagram back on September 12. She then shared several more thoughts about this unique time in her life. “Miss Evie is 3 weeks and and Axel is almost 2.5 and I feel like its all become one tiny little blur and time has robbed me,” she explained, continuing as follows: “How did my first baby get so big? Why is my second already almost a month old!?” We’re sure almost every parent out there has asked the same question at some point in his or her journey. Concluded Maddie in this message: Time is a theif and on days I get irrationally mad at what its robbing me of. I wish I could freeze it and soak up these babies just a little longer! No real reason I’m sharing this, other than to just share and say, enjoy your days and love on your family members. Amen, Maddie. Just… amen.
