Meri Brown Poses with Aurora Brown, May Not Be Done with Sister Wives

Might there be hope for Meri Brown yet? Might this long-time Sister Wives cast member actually be sticking around for the long run? A new photo on her official Instagram page makes us think this may actually be case. Amid rumors of her unhappiness in her marriage to Kody Brown , the reality star took to her social media platform last week to share a new selfie of her and Aurora Brown’s fun night out at an Andy Grammer concert. Aurora, of course, is the daughter of Kody and Robyn Brown. “Super fun night at the [Andy Grammer] concert tonight with this cute thing!” Brown, the first of Kodi’s wives, captioned the snapshot, which featured herself and Aurora posing in the crowd with the stage to their backs. Why is this notable? First, as many fans pointed out, because Meri and Aurora actually look a lot alike. “Two lovely Women. She actually looks a lot like you,” one individual wrote in a comment that drew more than a dozen Likes of agreement, while another added: “She looks like you 20 years ago. So beautiful.” Secondly, though, because we keep hearing rumors that Meri is sick of her situation with Kody and sick of being on the show in general. And while these rumors may be true, it has to say something positive about Meri’s state of mind when she’s out and about with Aurora, who is not even her biological daughter. Meri and Kody share a single child together, daughter Mariah Brown. Meanwhile, Kodi shares an additional 13 children with his three other wives. Yes, 13 more children! It’s quite a hectic set-up, and it’s one that has seemingly brought out a very bitter side in Meri of late. “Not everyone likes me. That’s ok, I like me,” she recently wrote on Instagram , standing up strongly for herself and adding: “People will criticize my shoes. That’s ok, I have foot issues and need to be careful what kind of shoes I wear to not cause too much pain. “People will mock my necklace because it’s not centered in this photo. That’s fine, I just did a little twirl and didn’t stop to check that it was straight before this photo was taken.” She doesn’t done, either. “People talk trash about my dark front tooth, that’s fine, I had fun as kid and fell and it killed it, but it didn’t kill me,” the TLC personality continued. “People will criticize my choice of outfit because they’re not comfortable with pattern mixing, but that’s ok, because I am, and I’m the one wearing this and I feel confident.” We applaud Meri for sticking it to all trolls, while we continue to wonder why she doesn’t remove herself from his unhealthy relationship. The bond she has Aurora, along with other kids in the family, likely explains a lot. Concluded Meri in her aforementioned post: People love to talk trash about my business choices, that’s ok, they don’t realize the truth because they just “google” their information. That’s ok, of all people, I’m one who knows what kind of “information” one gets when “googling” something. The fact of the matter is, I’m living MY life for ME, and I’m happy with it. Dean Unglert vs. Connor Saeli: Dude Feud Over Caelynn Miller-Keyes Heats Up!

At first, it looked like they were just two young, beautiful ships passing in the night. But these days, Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes are banging in “Pleasure Town.” By which we mean Dean’s van. Mostly. Unfortunately, their sweet romantic getaway may have sparked a feud between Dean and Caelynn’s ex, Connor. On Wednesday, Deanie Babies sat down with Nick Viall for an episode of the latter’s podcast, The Viall Files . Dean explains how he first nervously met Connor Saeli after their Bachelor in Paradise love triangle.  “I was like, ‘Hey, man. It’s nice to meet you,” he says. Dean even complimented him, saying: “You’re even more handsome in person [than] you are on television and from a distance.” “We didn’t really talk much,” the 28-year-old admits. “And then the reunion happened,” Dean recalls. “And he tried to talk s–t.” At the reunion, Connor had questions for Caelynn about why she had left Paradise with Dean. “Connor is this really incredibly good-looking dude,” Dean correctly acknowledges. “I was terrified.” “I was, like, building him up, and then after the show, I shook his hand,” Dean recalls. He continues: “And I was like, ‘Hey, it’s nice to officially, formally meet you.’” It’s always intimidating to meet your girl’s ex. Especially when he looks like Connor. Especially when he looks like Connor shirtless . “He leans over,” Dean narrates. “And he goes, ‘Nice to meet you too, man. I would really love to see the van sometime.'” “‘I’ve been thinking about doing the van life myself,'” he says that Connor told him. Dean shares: “And I go, ‘Bro, you can’t say that because you’ve been talking s–t about my van nonstop on the  Bachelor in Paradise .’” Well … to be fair, a lot of people had a lot of opinions about Dean and his van this season. Personally, the van is fine — Dean’s doing okay. I’m just glad to see the mustache in the ashes of history where he belongs. That was not the end of it, if you can believe it. Dean relates to Nick that he slid into Connor’s DMs to wish him luck in the future. Standard politeness stuff. Well, apparently Connor once again brought up how much he envied the freedom of Deanie’s current lifestyle. “Are you jealous of it, or do you wanna talk s–t about it?” Dean asks rhetorically while recalling this exchange. Folks, it sounds like Dean’s van is a sore subject for him and he’s a little self-conscious. You can make fun of it if you want, but don’t expect him to fall in love with you if you do. Despite that clear point of contention, Dean says that he and Connor are “fine.” Dean is the one who ended up boning Caelynn into the sunset, so that’s probably a good alm to his ego. In fact, Dean says that he would “love” to help Connor get set up like he is and give him advice and generally show him the ropes. “You seem like a great guy. I wanna be friends,” Dean says. Lauren Swanson: I’m SO Different From the Other Duggar Wives!

At this point, the Duggars are so famous that even people who marry into the family become minor celebrities. Of course, not every new spouse is thrilled with that development. Take Lauren Swanson, for example. Lauren married Josiah Duggar  over a year ago but thus far, she’s managed to keep a lower profile than most Duggar partners. Those who know Swanson best say that’s no accident. To say that Lauren is a bit more shy than your typical reality star would be a massive understatement. In her first video messages to fans — posted shortly after she and Josiah got engaged — Swanson spoke so quietly that many fans openly wondered if she were concealing some sort of speech impediment. (The denizens of Duggar nation are not always a kindly bunch.) To this day most fans know very little about Lauren — but that changed this week, when the mom-to-be posted a list of 11 facts about herself on Instagram. Some of the facts aren’t exactly jaw-droppers. Lauren kicks things off by revealing with that she loves Jesus with her “whole heart,” and she “grew up in central GA on a little farm”  Important parts of her life, no doubt, but nothing that’s likely to take anyone by surprise. After the introductory items, however, Lauren’s list actually gets interesting. “I am a quarter hispanic (and no I am not fluent in Spanish, but I wish I was),” Swanson continued. “My middle name (Milagro) is in Spanish, it means Miracle.” So, maybe the Duggars aren’t the whitest family in the world anymore? (Just kidding, they still are.) From there, Lauren revealed that she’s known Josiah for much longer than previously thought. “Met the Duggar family in 2010, at the ATI conference in Big Sandy, TX (so yes, I watched Josiah grow up; I remember him as the funny/talkative little kid),” she wrote. And here’s where it really gets interesting — it seems Lauren was very nearly a career woman: “I went to college when I was 16 and finished my Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18,” she wrote.  Next on the list was an equally, though considerably less impressive revelation: “My secret talent is yodeling,” she wrote. From there on out, its pretty standard stuff — Lauren plays piano and digs interior design, but her favorite pastime is hanging out with Josiah. But still — nursing, yodeling, interests that don’t involve Jesus and housework? Seems that Lauren may have a richer interior life than some folks gave her credit for. For years, we’ve been hearing that despite all of the hype about Jinger, Josiah is the real Duggar rebel , the one who resists his father’s influence at every turn. And what better way to rebel against Jim Bob than to marry a woman with no interest in being enslaved by a patriarchal cult? Sony Accuses Vincent Herbert Of Hiding Assets in $4 Million Battle

And while it’s been years since he’s been in financial trouble, it doesn’t mean that the end is near. In fact, according to The Blast , Sony Music still has their hands out. In court documents obtained by The Blast , Herbert has yet to pay the $4 million he owes Sony Music, even after a judge ruled that he needed to pay the debt. As we reported earlier, the label gave Herbert the $4 million advance in order for him to find new talent. They lent the money with the expectation that it would eventually be recouped. But they claimed he failed to pay back the advance as he promised. Herbert ignored the lawsuit and a default judgement of $3,738,515.93, was set against him. In new documents, Sony claims, “No portion of the Judgment has been satisfied and the judgment continues to accrue interest. Defendant Herbert instead has evaded enforcement through a series of shell transactions using an ever expanding list of closely held corporate entities as a means to fund and thrive upon a lavish lifestyle at the expense of his creditors, including Sony Music.” Sign Up For Our Newsletter! They also claim that Herbert went through extraordinary measures to prevent Sony from serving him documents. The label alleges that Herbert created a company called GloJoe in order to collect funds. Thus far, he’s collected $472,000. They also believe over 1 million dollars was collected at another point. Perv Ref Strips Teen Swimmer of Medal Due to Improperly-Covered Butt

Schools and school activities are supposed to reward extraordinary achievement and dedication on the parts of their students. But for one 17-year-old swimmer, she found her accomplishments erased when a referee disqualified her after she won. The reason cited? The bottom of her one-piece swimsuit had bunched up during her swim. The national outcry was swift and immediate. Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska boasts one of the fastest swimmers in the country's largest state. Unfortunately for that very talented 17-year-old athlete, she is now at the center of a nationwide controversy. On Friday night, she won a 100m freestyle event against the rival team from Chugiak. Sadly, her victory was short-lived. The referee disqualified her after-the-fact, citing — and we wish that we were kidding — that her swimsuit had a wedgie. Most people would not have paid any attention to a slightly bunched up one-piece, because that can happen to any swimsuit. It is also worth noting, of course, that the one-piece was provided by the school — this wasn't the case of a swimmer going rogue with her uniform. But the referee issued a disqualification based upon the girl's “intergluteal cleft.” Notably, the national rulebook does not say anything of the sort. And while coaches in the district were cautioned against swimmers showing “intergluteal cleft,” the one-piece only did so while bunched up. There have been no shortage of deeply sexist dress codes and ensuing scandals over the years as fewer families are willing to stand for them. But this was clearly a step further, and spawned national outrage practically overnight. There was more than misogyny and inherent unfairness at play behind this unbelievable decision by the referee. Millions of Americans reading about the outrageous disqualification took note of the fact that the girl in question is biracial and somewhat curvy. Bias against curvier women and girls is sadly nothing new, and they are often excessively sexualized despite wearing normal clothing. And we hope that we do not have to explain that racism is alive and well in America to a sickening degree. These factors were pointed out by a coach at a neighboring high school — a rival school, and the last person you'd think would root for an opposing athlete. She wrote about how this girl wore the same uniform as her teammates, none of whom had receives violations. She also recalled incidents of this girl and her sisters being targeted even by parents who felt that the girls' curves made them inherently indecent . (One parent even photographed the girl and distributed pictures, which is mega creepy and got him scolded by the school district) Anchorage School District, taking note of the coach's outrage and of the national outcry, released a statement just days after the disqualifcation. “The disqualification appears to stem from a difference of opinion in the interpretation of the rules governing high school swim uniforms,” it begins. The statement continues: “Immediately after the disqualification, the Dimond HS swim coach filed a protest with the official to contest the decision.” We intend to gather all the facts surrounding the disqualification so we can accurately address the matter with officials,” the district adds. “And, they conclude, they will “take appropriate action to ensure fair, equitable competition and consistent application of the rules for this athlete and her peers.” Well, that internal inquiry by the Anchorage School District concluded that the 17-year-old athlete was unfairly targeted. They sent an appeal to the Alaska School Activities Association, who had to have known that this was coming. It took only one hour for the ASAA to reverse the disqualification. Like in one of the early Harry Potter books where magic sports still mattered, all points were restored to the Dimond team. The ASAA is still mulling over whether to decertify the referee and also whether to suspend the clearly unfair “suit coverage rule.”

Kim Kardashian just sent a very clear, powerful and emphatic message to Kylie Jenner: Calm down , little half-sister, she basically just said. I’m still alive, kicking and, oh yeah, raking it in! For the past few years, the narrative around the Internet has largely been that Kylie is now the most influential member of quite famous family. Or, at the very least, the wealthiest member of this family, considering she’s officially reached full-on billionaire status . Heck, Kylie is even posing nude in an upcoming episode of Playboy, something sibling Kim did in 2007 and something that many are interpreteing as yet another way for Jenner to show up Kardashian. On Tuesday, however, Kim launched her brand new SKIMS Solutionwear  … and it sold $2 million worth of product in mere minutes, sources have confirmed to TMZ. Practically every piece and/or shred of inventory sold out in lightning speed, the source adds, marking unprecedented success for shapewear and undergarment brands. For those in need of context: Spanx — which is a comparable type of clothing to what Kim is offering  here — made $4 million in profits in its first year of business. Meanwhile, SKIMS mgarneredde half that amount … in only a couple hundred seconds . Indeed, it appears as if lots of people out there still consider Kim Kardashian a fashion icon. “Wow!” wrote Kim in respone to this major news, adding on Instagram: “Thank you to everyone who supported our @skims launch day yesterday, it was beyond what I could have imagined and I’m so incredibly thankful!” Kim went through quite a lot to get this shapewear line up and running. Most notably, she originally planned to name it “Kimono,” but came under fire for doing so because that’s already a word and already a well-known article of clothing in Japanese culture. “I understand and have deep respect for the significance of the kimono in Japanese culture,” Kim told The New York Times in response to this controversy over the summer, adding at the time: “My solutionwear brand is built with inclusivity and diversity at its core.” Eventually, Kim changed the name to SKIMS. After selling out pretty much all her inventory in a matter of hours, Kim sent a message to followers on social media. “For anyone that didn’t have a chance to shop yesterday, we still have some of the shapewear still in stock in colors Onyx, Umber and Oxide and many of my must have underwear and bra essentials that are perfect everyday basics,” she wrote, concluding: If the @skims item you wanted is sold out, pls follow our Instagram page and visit our website to sign up for restock alerts! Bachelor in Paradise Recap: It’s Over! Times THREE!

It was the end of the line for not just one couple on Bachelor in Paradise Tuesday night. Or even just two couples. But a trio of tandems ended up calling it quits on the latest episode, with the Season 6 finale looming and, with it, all that pressure of Fantasy Suites, engagement and more. To open this recap, we’ll focus on Demi Burnett and her girlfriend Kristian Haggerty, who clearly have real feelings for each other. However, as documented the evening before , Demi was struggling to embrace her sexuality for the first time in front of so many people after having only just come out a short while back. “I want to be engaged, I want to marry her,” she said of Kristian, adding by way of concern: “But there is a part of me that’s terrified of what people are thinking whenever they see me and her kiss. I can’t get rid of that.” While this exact feeling was unique to Demi, she wasn’t the only contestant on Tuesday unsure about her romantic future. Clay Harbor and Nicole Lopez-Alvar, along with Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton, were also on fairly shaky ground. Yes, Nicole and Clay had been steadily progressing for week — but she ensed him holding back from a true committment. As a result, these two headed out on a date last night… where she decided to tell Clay she was falling for him, hoping for the same response. Alas: “You are my best friend in the beach,” he told her. “I just want to see you and spend so much time with you, I do. And I do think I’m starting to fall in love with you, I am. I just can’t say right now that I’m in love .” Chris and Katie could relate. They were also struggling to get on the same page, too. “I’m just so in my head right now,” he confessed, continuing as follows: “I can’t even explain it, because I feel like what me and Katie have is great. I know I have something amazing, but I’m still second-guessing that amazingness with an amazing person.” Then there was Connor Saeli, who had a VERY different issue . He had just gotten rejected by Caelynn Miller-Keyes (who left the show with Dean Unglert) and he wasn’t clicking romantically with newcomer and fellow singleton Revian Chang. The only person on his mind was Whitney Fransway, with whom he hit it off with at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson’s wedding — but she had yet to arrive on the beach. Slight problem, right? “I thought Whitney might come down the stairs, but if she doesn’t come, I’ll probably just leave,” Connor said. “I’m not here to give out a friendship rose, I genuinely came here to find someone to find love, and if that’s not happening, I don’t want to be here.” But… wait! Almost as though it were scripted, Whitney later showed up with a date card at Connor’s hotel door, much to his extreme delight! “All I wanted was for you to come down and go on a date,” he said, smiling from ear to ear. “So this is the best.” Back at the bungalows: The couples got ready to head into that night’s cocktail party, only to find out that Chris Harrison had canceled it. What the what?!? They therefore went straight to the rose ceremony instead, as the suspense built and Harrison made sure to remind them how important these roses were. Why? Because, at this point, they were designed to represent commitment and a future together. Here is how it all shook out: Luke Stone offered his rose to Bri Barnes, but she declined and he was sent packing. Matt Donald  then also offered his rose to Bri… and this time she accepted. Dylan chose Hannah. John Paul Jones chose Tayshia Adams. Chase McNary chose Angela Amezcua. Clay chose Nicole. Demi went with Kristian, of course. And Chris picked Katie… which meant Revian, Sydney Lotuaco and Haley Ferguson were going home. The next day, Harrison returned to announce that Bachelor in Paradise as they knew it was over . “Last night was your last rose ceremony,” he said. “What is next? Romantic overnight dates, Fantasy Suites, spending the night together and taking that night step as a couple.” Harrison continued: “Today, each couple is going to go have that conversation. “And I need you to be brutally honest with yourselves and each other and think, ‘Are we ready to take that step together as a couple?’ If you’re not, it’s time to check out of Paradise and head back home.” The message was heard loudly and clearly… as couples started dropping like flies, beginning with Bri and Matt, then Chase and Angela. Next up, Jones told Tayshia that he was in love with her — yet she just wasn’t there yet. Both devastated and in tears , they peaced out separately. Hannah and Dylan, however, couldn’t wait to take this next step together, while Clay and Nicole also decided to give romance (and sex!) a shot. After a heart-to-heart conversation, Demi and Kristian agreed to keep exploring their relationship, as well. As for Chris and Katie? “I feel like I’m so unsure,” he told her. “I don’t know, I feel like I push people away that I like, that I feel comfortable with.” “At the end of the day, whether it’s me or it’s not me, you need to figure out who makes you happy,” she replied. “I don’t know if it’s you for the rest of my life, but do I like you? Yes. Do you make me happy? Yes.” The sweetness wasn’t over, either. “For you to even still be sitting here is a testament to the person you are, and that’s what I’m looking for,” Chris said. “I want to give this a shot, I can’t sit here and say I don’t.” Katie was psyched to hear it all. “If this is Chris Bukowski’s last time ever on the show and we end up together, then that makes me the exception to the rule,” she said. “ He came out of retirement — and found me .” The season finale of Bachelor in Paradise airs next Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC. Reality television villain Farrah Abraham sat down with Us Weekly for a very, very lengthy interview alongside 10-year-old Sophia. “What am I looking for in a partner?” Farrah begins. “I would say a partner who is well-rounded, loves my daughter, and loves dogs.” She elaborates: “Just a good, fun, outgoing person.” “I’m sure all of us who are single, which there are so many of us, are looking for a great human being,” she suggests. “But there’s very few,” she admits, without acknowledging that she is not one of those few. “Sophia really hopes that she gets a brother or sister,” Farrah says when it comes to growing her family. Sophia then interjects very firmly that she wants a brother. There’s no or sister on her wishlist. “I just hope I meet a human who’s great enough to do that with,” the former Teen Mom villain expresses. “But,” Farrah insists. “I’m in no rush.” “I’m OK being married to myself at this point,” she says. Farrah shares that giving Sophia a younger sibling doesn’t necessarily involve her giving actual physical birth. “I’m OK with adopting,” she announces. But she’s not hurrying off to some agency, either. “Sophia is my one and only right now,” Farrah affirms. ‘We have a happy family,” she claims. “We’re great right now.” “When it comes to dating now, especially after all my therapy and relationship therapy, I’ve just seen some really nasty things in men,” Farrah says. Farrah may not be one of our favorite people, on the grounds of her nastiness and her racist attacks, but she’s not wrong about that. She expresses: “I definitely don’t need anyone dating me anymore because I’m famous or I’m a celebrity.” “I take that really serious now,” Farrah reveals. “I definitely know what I’m looking at now when it comes to personalities and behavior and human behavior,” she adds. How can she bring herself to trust in a world where everybody’s looking for a little fame or a little money — or both? “I don’t take any chances anymore,” Farrah explains. “They sign NDA.” She details: “They’re not allowed to call press or other people, be friends with reporters.” (I’m sure that my friends are all crushed that they can’t date Farrah) “I take it really serious,” Farrah insists. Farrah has been teaching Sophia about sexism, but in an extremely Farrah way. “I discussed with her about being a celebrity in the limelight, and if a female acts like a male, it’s treated way differently, as we’ve seen,” she says. Notably, most actual feminists would consider someone using “male” or “female” like that to be a red flag. “I think Sophia understands the harshness and the unfairness and the sexist attitudes toward women when they act like males,” Farrah adds. “Sophia will rise and be above that,” she predicts. “She’s definitely aware.” “I talk to her about me having sex with a pornstar, yes,” Farrah reveals. That makes a lot of sense. Sophia is 10. Certainly old enough to get forewarned that her mom was in an adult video. “I’m a celebrity, so it was taken way out of context, wasn’t it?” she argues. “It was sensationalized.” “So I think if you’re confused about something, my daughter is very much not confused about how the world sees it,” Farrah concludes. Andrew Glennon: FORCED to Film Teen Mom OG Against His Will?!

In the months since Amber Portwood was arrested for assault, Andrew Glennon certanly hasn't kept a low profile. But he has managed to control the conversation about his increasingly messy custody battle. Glennon candidly discusses the situation with fans on Instafgram, which should be his right. But now, it seems MTV is sending the battered baby daddy a very clear message: Shut up about Amber .. unless you're talking to us. According to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Andrew was recently ambushed by Teen Mom OG producers and forced to take part in the show. Yes, folks — a very messed up situation just got much, much worse. Take a look: 1. Better Days? From the outside, it looked as though Amber and Andrew enjoyed some happy days in their relationship, But Andrew now says it was abusive from the start. 2. On His Own It’s one of the revelations he’s made during his candid Instagram chats with fans in the months since Amber was arrested for attacking him with a machete and striking him while he was holding the couple’s 1-year-old son. 3. Andrew’s Blunder From a legal standpoint, it was never the smartest move for Andrew to discuss a pending court case on social media. 4. Telling His Story But to his credit, he seemed more concerned with getting the truth out then with protecting his legal interests. 5. Double Standard? Would a female domestic violence victim be encouraged to keep quiet? Would MTV producers rush to esploit her story? It’s touch to say for sure — but that’s certainly what’s happening to Andrew. 6.
