Demi Lovato has always been an open book. The singer has never shied away over the years from discussing her battles with substance abuse and an eating disorder. In the YouTube documentary “Simply Complicated,” Lovato is an open… series of books? We're not sure how to phrase it, we just know the artist discusses absolutely everything, from her career to her drug use to her most famous relationship. Scroll down and then all around for a look at all we learned about Lovato in this revealing film: 1. When Did She First Do Cocaine? “I was 17 working on Disney Channel, and I was with a couple of friends and they introduced me to it. I was scared because my mom always told me that your heart could just burst if you do it. But I did it anyways and I loved it. I felt out of control with the coke the first time that I did it.” 2. Yes, She Once Punched a Backup Dancer in the Face After learning someone named Shorty outed her for using Adderall during a Camp Rock 2 tour, “I remember thinking, ‘I’m about to beat this bitch up.’ She had already boarded the plane, I just went up to her and it was like a blur.” 3. This Was a “Breaking Point” Lovato said she slept the whole day afterward, texted her mom an apology and realized she needed major help. 4. She Entered Rehab, Got Diagnosed as Bipolar… … and then fell off the wagon: “I wasn’t working my program, I wasn’t ready to get sober. I was sneaking it on planes, in bathrooms, nobody knew. I went on a bender of two months when I was using daily and there was one night where I used a bunch of coke, I popped a few Xanax bars and I started to choke a little bit and my heart started racing. I remember thinking, oh my god, I might be overdosing right now.” 5. This Was the Last Time She Drank: “I invited 2 random people and basically just drank with them. I got really really drunk until it was time to get on a flight and I was so drunk that I threw up in the back of the car service on the way to the airport to perform on American Idol. I felt like that was a moment in my career where I didn’t care. I just knew that I needed to be high to get through what I was going through at that point.” 6. It Was On to a Sober Living Facility She retired here every night after judging The X Factor. Said her manager in the documentary of this experience: “She’s having to do chores. She has no cell phone. She’s completely and totally submitted to the process of recovery.” View Slideshow

Farrah Abraham: I Don’t Care if Simon Saran Still Loves Me!

In case any of you have forgotten that Farrah Abraham came from somewhere — she hasn’t just always been around, like the moon or the specter of death — she got her start on the Teen Mom franchise. And she’s still a part of it. During a Teen Mom 2 special, Farrah reunites with her ex, Simon Saran. Basically, MTV thought that she’d be more entertaining if she plays off of Simon. And she was right. The special was titled “Being Simon,” which is a weird moment to all Simons who live in places where the name is unusual and are therefore accustomed to that name referring only to them. (Trust me; I would know) Lately, Farrah’s been getting the attention that she craves for very different things. For instance, Farrah’s been slammed for bad parenting yet again, because her photos of her daughter — cute though they may be — serve as a reminder that she homeschools Sophia. That’s not the way to give your kid a fair start at life. And Farrah Abraham’s vaginal rejuvenation  treatments are either a case of the world’s worst choice of celebrity spokespeople or the world’s most desparate case of someone craving attention and not caring if it’s negative. (It’s probably a little of both) And, oh by the way, Farrah Abraham did a livestream sex show where she bared her breasts and then masturbated for all the world (well, anyone willing to pay) to see. Which is a totally fine thing to do — sex work is work, and it’s valid — but we get the feeling that the motivation behind it had to do with, again, the negative attention that Farrah seems to crave by any means. But, hey, a sex show is immeasurably better than another Farrah Abraham racist outburst . Compared to all of those adventures in bad publicity, Farrah Abraham’s Teen Mom 2 special with Simon Saran wasn’t an unending thrill-ride. But that’s not to say that it was uneventful . During the former couple’s trip to San Francisco, Simon Saran expressed an interest in rekindling their former romance. “I still want to date you; I love you.” You’d think that Farrah would have talked about how he’d failed to show her respect during their relationship. Instead, she went with a different angle. “Then maybe you shouldn’t be weird with other people and call them ‘babe’ and hug them and take pictures with other people.” One, that sounds super specific. Two, which part of that is bad, exactly? Is he not allowed to hug people? Farrah laid down some rules for Simon if he wants to crawl back into her good graces, romantically speaking. “You cannot interact with other girls who are like basic b–ches.” It’s not every day that you hear someone say “basic b–ches” unironically. Simon defended himself: “I did it right in front of you because it was innocent.” Why does he want to get back with her, exactly? Farrah wasn’t down to reunite with Simon Saran in that capacity, even though he’s boasted of his endowment (the surest sign of insecurity). But she was willing to learn more about his culture. He’s a Punjabi Sikh. Simon Saran cautioned her: “You’re going to smell like curry.” Well, that’s not a bad thing. Curry smells amazing. Farrah Abraham talked about how she can “relate” to the immigrant community. “I relate to immigrants and working hard and my grandad showed me what hard work was.” Immigration involves so much more than that. There’s a blending of cultures, and sometimes there’s culture shock. There’s leaving one’s friends and family. There’s being regarded with suspicion or dislike in your new home. But … we’re not exactly shocked that Farrah made it all about herself. And remember, we’re talking about Farrah and Simon, so their talk turned to things that one should never discuss. In this case, flatulence . Ugh. After Farrah chastized him for his flatulence, Simon responded: “Your farts are worse than mine.” Farrah denied it, saying: “I have never farted.” That’s obviously not true, but can we all pretend that their exchange never happened? Thanks. In the background for a lot of this, Farrah and Simon were working together on “business.” By which we mean that Simon Saran was flipping houses and Farrah Abraham was also there. She may have, at some point, dunked a basketball with Simon’s assistance. But don’t get your hopes up of these two becoming a couple again, folks. Britney Spears: Look at My Awesome Painting (and Bra)!

Britney Spears is one of the most popular artists on the planet. With countless infectious hits under her belt, the superstar has turned her attention to something new of late.  That brand new hobby is painting, and we have to admit, she looks like a flawless painter, and no, we're not just saying that because she's painting along to the soothing sound of Mozart.  The 35-year-old looks as relaxed as ever as she stands on the balcony of her beautiful house. Wearing a bra, it's like she does not have a care in the world.  Britney shared the video on Friday, along with the following caption: “Sometimes you just gotta play!” The empowering line was accompanied by a lot of emoticons. We get it, Britney, you like to spend your downtime on your balcony with some classical music, and you're not ashamed to tell the world about it.  Britney has staged a rare comeback after years in a downward spiral. Just when it looked like her career was over, she got the help she needed and had a recent hit album that proved the hitmaker was back and better than ever.  On top of that, she has that lucrative Vegas residency, so all is right in the world of Britney. She's also been dating Sam Asghari, so she has a solid career, love and a beautiful family.  Recent reports have suggested she is ready to pop the question to Sam and ask him to marry her. It sounds like she knows this relationship is one with legs.  Who would have thought Spears would be oozing positivity after it seemed like a genuine possibility she was going to disappear from the public eye forever? Kailyn Lowry Slams Jenelle Evans’ Threat to Quit: Yeah, Right!

Teen Mom 2  might be about to lose one of its most controversial stars, as  Jenelle Evans has threatened to quit . The Carolina Hurricane claims that MTV is making her and her husband look bad. Who better to weigh in on that than one of Jenelle's costars? In the video below, you'll see Kailyn Lowry share  exactly  what she thinks of that. And she gets in a nice burn about Jenelle in the process. The Jenelle Evans rant that prompted all of this was Jenelle going on Instagram to threaten to quit  Teen Mom 2 . “Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for.” We know that this will  shock  you, folks, but Jenelle's about to get super defensive about David Eason. “Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass s–t from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?!” She needs to be aware that MTV can only edit so much — that fans are concerned about David Eason for a whole host of reasons? “I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show.” That's quite a threat. “I told Morgan it’s getting to out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally.” Oh, is  that  what's wrong? All jokes aside, Jenelle Evans had issues before MTV ever came into her life. “They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages.” Right … it's a reality show. Except that she's not in a cage and is, in fact, getting paid. Pretty generously, as we understand it. “WE aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever. The first screenshot of the custody episode someone posted photoshopping a hand mark on my arm. The other screenshots are pictures I’ve taken myself from the same episode… and there aren’t any hand marks.” Jenelle really didn't make it clear whether she was accusing MTV of that or just a random fan. But then Jenelle makes it sound like she's serious about threatening to leave … and describes the way that MTV can win her back. “Once they treat me with respect I’ll be back, if they don’t I’ll be happy with the life I’ve got. I told them this last night.” It sure sounds like Jenelle is just trying to get them to sanitize her life, right? Because even though reality shows are told through the lens of editing, you can only take things out or maybe take a few things out of context. (Taking too many things out of context would make the story incoherent) Try as they might, we don't see MTV's editors being able to add things in to  Teen Mom 2 . Considering that  David Eason makes Jenelle's own mother worried  for Jenelle and for Jenelle's children, it looks like there's more than editing behind the way that fans are viewing their relationship. But … either Jenelle doesn't see it, or she just doesn't  want  to see it. I the video below, Kailyn is asked about Jenelle's threat to quit. Kailyn starts her answer as diplomatically as she can. “I think we all feel differently.” Sure.  But  … “I have to disagree with her statement about MTV.” We'd imagine so. “As far as I can see it, you wouldn't have stuck with the show for 8 years if that were the case.” That's a very good point. Maybe Jenelle's just huffing and puffing because she wants to defend David Eason's honor, or whatever. “I'll leave that there.” She almost did. But remember that burn that we mentioned? When asked if she thinks that Jenelle should stay or go, Kailyn replied with this: “I don't care what Jenelle does.” Ouch. We do have to point out that there's one thing that's different now than it was for most of Jenelle's time on  Teen Mom 2 : David Eason. If he's really as controlling as they say, maybe he's the one who's encouraging Jenelle to quit Teen Mom 2. It's hard to see why he, or anyone, would want to close up the cash flow of  that sweet  Teen Mom  money . But maybe he wants the cameras off. That's a chilling thought. What's worse is that Jenelle might give him what he wants.

Noah Brown Confirms Engagement to Rhain Alisha!

Move over, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas . You aren’t the only famous couple that got engaged over the weekend. Okay, maybe you are. But this doesn’t change the fact that Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown has confirmed he’s set to marry Rhain Alisha. He alerted fans to this news via a touching Facebook post that reads as follows: Rhain Alisha has been so patient and supporting through everything that has been happening, my mothers cancer, having to leave Alaska, my car keeps breaking down, and all in all I have been thinking of how thankful I am that she moved in with we instead of going back to Oregon and now we are engaged and planing our life together. Rhain Alisha is everything I could have ever wanted. She is my Soulmate my Angel my DreamGirl. She makes me the best Version of myself, I know that as long as she loves me that some day I can be the man that Rhain deserves. Thank you God for giving me Rhain Alisha Merrill. Brown included with these kinds words the picture of Rhain (birth name: Ruth) below: Brown is a cast member on Alaskan Bush People, but he’s been criticized of late by his fans for essentially abandoning his family during their greatest time of need . Some supporters have taken issue with Brown because he’s been sharing social media images of himself and Rhain taking trips to the zoo and other places… … all while his mother, Ami, is dying of lung cancer. Is this a fair critique? We’re really not in a position to say. It’s true that Noah has not said much publicly about his mother’s illness, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he isn’t heartbroken over it. (It’s also true, incredibly, that Noah has a sister named Rain and is now engaged to someone named Rhain. What are the odds?!?) As far as we know, Ami Brown is now out of the hospital. This is positive news, of course. But most outlets still say the family matriarch is pretty much on her death bed . She has stage four lung cancer and it isn’t operable. There isn’t much doctors can do at this point. We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to the Browns, while also wishing Noah the best on his engagement. In this film, he plays a bully named Fridge, who gets sucked into the Jumanji game in a tiny body where things like cake and strength actually become his weaknesses. I went down to Hawaii with a group of journalist to check out the Jumanji set and got to talk to Kevin Hart about his role in the continuation of a loved story. I found out more about his character’s avatar, honoring Robin Williams and what his kids think when he does family-friendly movies. Check out our Q & A with funny man Kevin Hart. What can you tell us about your character? Kevin Hart: What can I tell you about my character? I play a small guy in a different world that’s complete opposite of the high school version of who this individual really is. But the thing that’s amazing is that who he is on one side is completely different from the person that he’s forced to be on the other side. With every movie that you do, you always want to make sure there’s an inside message, something that people can walk away and take from the film. I think we put a lot of small innuendoes in here that people will be able to kind of wink at and understand and agree with. You want to switch up what you can. You want to be different and separate yourself from other things that have been done. I think in this case, we’re doing so with all of the characters, including myself. With the small persona of Fridge, that’s one note, so we wanted to find different things. In this particular case, Fridge is a bully. My character’s a bully, in this world, he’s forced to be a bully in a different statue. Without speed, without strength, a guy who’s allergic to eating cake, it’s a bunch of weird shit that we gave him, but it works, because we grounded it to where it makes sense. With Dwayne, how is your chemistry similar to what you guys had already built together, and how do you go off in different directions? Look, there’s chemistry, plain and simple. We’re good friends. We’re both professionals. We’re all about the project. How can we make the project better? It’s not about us as individuals or what star stands out the most. It’s about the movie. So for us, it was just getting the script right. How do we make the material right? Do our characters have an arc? Do our characters have a purpose? Do our characters have a reason to be rooted for or not rooted for? That’s the depth that we go through. When you have somebody that puts just as much time into a project off camera that they do on camera, it says a lot about that individual. In this case, it’s something that we both did. We worked on the script for months before, and we got here two weeks before to do rehearsals, and more stuff just to make sure that the chemistry is there, and it is. Were you a fan of the original movie? Yeah. I’m a fan of Robin Williams. I think that’s an important thing to bring up, because people think that this is a remake of the original “Jumanji,” and it’s not. It’s a continuation. You don’t touch what’s great and try to redo it. You just have to understand that there’s a generation that has no idea what “Jumanji” is, and that’s the generation of today, the social media generation, the younger generation. They don’t know. So having that game and that world continue, but to fit this mold, it’s a unique idea, and it’s something that we felt that we could bring a lot of light to. So in no way, shape or form are we disrespecting, or reshaping, or reforming the original “Jumanji.” This has nothing to do. It’s a continuation. Are you excited about your kids seeing this movie? My kids see everything. Spoiled. Kids will probably see it when they come here and see it. They just love to see daddy do stuff. They’re more excited about animation. When I do animation, my kids get happy. So “Secret Life of Pets 2” and “Captain Underpants,” that’s all they focus on. They don’t care about this shit.
