Betsy DeVos Confirmed as Secretary of Education

Good news!  You now have one more abomination to throw in the face of your idiot friend who keeps insisting you need to give the Trump administration a chance. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of a generation of a schoolchildren. Moments ago, Betsy DeVos – Trump’s pick as U.S. Secretary of Education – was confirmed for the position in a vote so close that a tie had to be broken by Vice President Mike Pence. The 51-50 vote officially makes DeVos one of the controversial cabinet members in American history. And why are so many unhappy about the appointment? Well, there’s the fact that DeVos will be in charge of our nation’s public schools, despite the fact that she never attended one, worked in one, or sent her children to one. And the fact that she favors privatizing public schools, despite the fact that such systems promote racial segregation and fail to benefit others besides wealthy CEOs like herself and Trump. Or how about the fact that openly bought her post through millions in campaign contributions to Trump and many of the Republican senators who voted today. Here’s a helpful look at how her cash was distributed. Little Marco must be tough to buy off! Two Republican senators did vote against the appointment, proving that there is some opposition to Trump’s billionaires first agenda. Just not enough to make any real difference. This is far from the only controversial cabinet appointment made by Trump, and the president seems intent on privatizing or eliminating any of federal programs and services. There were cries of outrage when Rex Tillerson was appointed Secretary of State because the Exxon-Mobil CEO seems to have been chosen for no other reason than that he’s a close business ally to Vladimir Putin. Millions were infuriated when Rick Perry was chosen as Secretary of Energy  because he admitted to being clueless as to what the department does, and had previously spoken of doing away with it. Then there’s Scott Pruitt, tapped by Trump to head the Environmental Protection Agency – which he spent his entire career as Oklahoma’s Attorney General at odds with, and often suing. And yet the DeVos nomination somehow seems even worse. Almost like the people of this country care about their children’s future. Did Trump overplay his hand with this one? Danielle Bregoli, best known as the “Cash Me Outside” girl due to a memorable appearance on the Dr. Phil show last year, has now gone viral for a reason outside of her very odd word usage. Only 13 years old, Bregoli earned her 15 Minutes of Fame several months ago when she mouthed off at the talk show audience while appearing opposite the aforementioned hack of a psychologist. Bregoli and her mother were guests on the program, featured in a segment about the former’s out-of-control attitude. And it was on full display not long after she stepped on to the stage. “All these hos laughin’ like there’s something funny,” Bregoli said at one point, gesturing to the crowd and later taunting them with the catchphrase that has made her Internet famous: “Cash me outside, howbow dah?” The odd word choice… the accent… pretty much everything about Danielle Bregoli caused her to become the subject of quite a few memes, along with plenty of social media commentary throughout Facebook and Twitter. On Monday, meanwhile, Bregoli got into a VERY heated dispute with a fellow passenger on board a Spirit Airlines flight. According to TMZ, Bregoli took issue with a woman who wasn't happy with how long Bregoli's mother was taking to put away her carry-on bag. Words were exchanged and then a punch was thrown by Bregoli. The alleged victim then made a “citizen's arrest,” TMZ writes, until the cops arrived and all three people involved in the confrontation were escorted off the plane. No arrests were made. But a lawsuit may be forthcoming. And Bregoli isn't denying that an assault took place. “She got her ass whupped by a 13-year-old,” Bregoli, who has close to 800,000 followers on Facebook and 3 million on Instagram, said in a video posted to both those platforms this afternoon. This Christie Brinkley and her daughters video for Sports Illustrated swim, trying to remember the last time their magazine really prospered, back when Christie Brinkley was one of their girls….and not 63 years old and looking pretty amazing, maybe too amazing, like we’re being lied to, because there is aging gracefully, and their is not aging freakishly… I understand why SI is going Nostaligic and doing a shoot with Christie Brinkley, I get why they’d feature her daughter Sailor Cook, who is a young billionaire heir who has been doing the daughter of a model hustle like the Hadids, the Baldwins…the Crawford Gerber, the Depp, the everyone with a mom who was a model or dad who was an actor, or in the Jenner’s case a dad who cut off his dick….trying to become instagram models, because IT allows them to feel validated in their vapid existences….where they want to be the most popular and paid…and their parents support them…because they made a career being as vapid… But Alexa Ray Joel? Really…That’s clearly just a sign of Christie feeling guilty that her relationship with Billy Joel exploded and that she went off to have a cuter family with a rich guy, leaving her freakish head case daughter, who I remember from being on a reality TV show years ago, so broken, damaged a whiner…spoiled and jealous with no need to grow up because she’s babied by her rich parents who just don’t know what to do with her….clearly from this interview, her mom is as shocked as everyone else that Alexa is in it, but she knows she can’t let 16 year old Sailor succeed because it could be a trigger since you can tell, despite the circle jerk of how normal and in love they all are – she hates the cuter younger version of herself, because they eliminated the JOEL DNA from the equation, which isn’t an anti semetic statement, unless you want it o be…you can come up with your own racist conclusions, I’m just going to say there’s a mom daughter fetish in this….and that’s all that matters…not to mention the weird broken one…is probably the more interesting one to be around….and she looks hotter than ever…I’m not hating it…. Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 6 saw Jenelle tell Barbara and Jace about her pregnancy – after she let the world know, ’cause obviously. If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , or follow her on Instagram, then you know Jenelle Evans and her BF David Eason are having a girl. Barbara Evans, however, found out after you did. Watch Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 6 Online Yes, Jenelle and David went out to eat, settled on the name Ensley (which they stuck with) and had pregnancy announcement pics taken. All before the expectant duo told her mother or Jenelle’s two sons, Jace and Kaiser, for that matter, on  Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 6 . Instagram, priorities, are we right? The phrase “better late than never” didn’t resonate with Barbara, who had already asked her repeatedly if there was a baby on the way. Not only was she the last two know, but Jenelle had lied to Barbara … who heard about the pregnancy rumors from tabloids and coworkers. The hurt on her face was obvious: Jenelle Evans: Watch Her Dramatic Pregnancy Reveal to Son Jace! After a whole lot of deliberation (and conflicting accounts) from Jeremy Calvert, Leah Messer was finally set to go on vacation to California. She brought Ali’s wheelchair, but was adamant that Ali not feel different from her sisters, be it on vacation, at school or anywhere else. This, naturally, is an ongoing theme for her. How to keep Ali feeling independent, and be prepared to handle any health deterioration that might come their way now or in the future? Our hearts break for Leah and Ali. The young mother of three started to cry, and how can she not, with the weight of this on her shoulders? “Whatever happens is going to happen, and I’m going to be her mommy no matter what,” she said as she wiped her tear-filled eyes. Leah Messer Breaks Down Over Disabled Daughter: Watch In Delaware, Kailyn Lowry officially began to break down. Uninterested in interacting with estranged husband Javi Marroquin, her prior ex Jo Rivera had to step in as it started to impact her son. Jo’s son with Kailyn, Isaac, still wanted to hang out with Javi, regardless of the fact that Kailyn and Javi were splitting up in ugly fashion. Long story short? Javi and Jo were co-parenting. For real. You would never think of Kailyn’s exes (well, at least Jo) as the voice of reason, or the calm, collected parent of the bunch, but hey. Props to Jo for stepping up big, and he wasn’t wrong when he vented about Kailyn not putting her son first in the whole divorce drama. Whatever happened between Javi and Kailyn, or who they date next, Isaac and Lincoln will be impacted. Only Jo seems to get this … Kailyn Lowry Slammed by Jo Rivera: Grow Up! Meanwhile, it was the first day of Aubree’s first grade class, and the start of T-ball season, and proud mom Chelsea Houska was overjoyed. The Housk was a tad miffed at at Aubree’s dad, Adam Lind, who showed up to the game, which was filmed, but not school, which was not. Lind, of course, is feuding with Teen Mom 2 producers for supposedly making him look bad after driving away from scheduled filming. We also know Lind is behind on child support , so his sudden, recorded interest in being Dad of the Year didn’t sit well with or fool anybody. Hilariously, and no doubt intentionally, MTV used its “Previously on Teen Mom 2…” segment pre-show to make the child support point. Blame that one on editing, right Adam? Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 13 Recap: More Drama In Cancun

Will the ladies ever be able to play nice? That was questioned several times on Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 13 as the trip to Cancun continued.  Watch Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 13 Online We picked things up with the reveal that Yandy and Juju were still very much against one another. As you probably recall if you watch Love & Hip online , Juju wrote about Yandy’s personal life in her tell-all.  Yandy felt betrayed and it’s perfectly understandable why. Juju proved she was not the best person to have in her life.  Juju, however, put the blame on Yandy and said that Yandy was making everything about her. When the pair finally met up, they came to blows once more.  Juju was quick to point out that she did not reveal anything about Yandy in the book and that she was taking it to extremes. At first, this did not sit well with Yandy.  However, after some more promises, Yandy agreed that she went too far and both women put their feud to bed.  Elsewhere, Samantha, Kim and Erica got together to discuss Lil’ Mendeecees birthday party. The ladies were less than impressed that Yandy was not around to help, or even pay some money for the event. Eventually, Samantha decided it would be best to just plan the party herself and invite Yandy to the event.  Later, she went to the prison to visit Mendeecees, but she was shocked to learn that he had blocked her mother and Erika from visiting the prison. She tried to question him, but Mendeecees was not in the mood to give out answers.  Yandy met up with Samantha and the pair spoke about how much effort they have been putting in. Yandy claimed she tried to contact Samantha while in Mexico, but there was no answer. Samantha said that Yandy would need to accept that Mendeecees had a relationship with her.  There was no point in the ladies continuing to bicker. Yandy agreed that it would be the best course of action for them to move forward.  Aside from all the drama, Rich brought his daughter in to work as his new assistant. Ashley did not want her father to be a creep, so she questioned his choice in women.  She decided to take control of his love life and set him up on a blind date. However, Rich was shocked when Ashley’s mother appeared.  We never really found out what went wrong for them, but Ashley felt there were still some feelings there. Things were going well and Rich even made it clear he had a hotel room.  Rich is back, you guys! Finally, Yandy and Kimbella discussed the drama with Samantha. Kimbella said she would be going to the party, but Yandy was worried there would be even more drama.  Yandy decided against going to the party, while Kimbella showed up at the last minute. Counting On Recap: The Tamest Bachelor Party in Human Civilization

The gender of Jessa and Ben’s second baby was addressed on  Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 , but of course, we didn’t hear about it. Ben and Jessa finally got the news they were looking for, but didn’t share it with fans … however, we can tell you with certainty anyway: Jessa Duggar gave birth to a boy . Yesterday! Watch Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 Online If you  watch Counting On online , you know Jessa and Ben are loving teasing their pregnancy while not actually giving any details away. Case in point? Ben and Jessa decided they were going to keep the gender secret from everyone … well every one of their fans, anyway. Jana and Joy got to find out! Lucky! This was a pretty big show of trust, but on the flip side, what are they going to do, blab about it on non-pre-screened Instagram accounts? In all seriousness, Jessa joked that they want to keep the gender a secret “because we like to torture people,” but really it’s just personal. “Whenever you actually get to see the baby for the first time, it just blows you away,” Jessa said regarding the sonogram appointment. Duggars Try to Predict Jessa’s Baby’s Gender! Watch! They kicked the camera crew out before the tech revealed the gender, but again, Jessa gave birth to a boy before this episode aired. Note to the Duggars: When your claim to reality TV fame is babies and pregnancies, you might want to manage the reveals a bit better. Just some food for thought there. It’s not like you can count on Jeremy Vuolo’s bachelor party for ratings. He and his friends decided to partake in an escape room challenge. Yep. With Jinger Duggar, no less. Putting a group of people in a room with hidden clues to see if they can “escape” before “time runs out” is a fun night, don’t get us wrong. As a bachelor party, though? View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family “As part of personal conviction, my family doesn’t drink alcohol or dance,” Jessa revealed, as if we were somehow new to the Duggars. “We have tons of fun in other ways.” The guys and girls (who split up in teams, because you don’t want couples sneaking off un-chaperoned) were equally bad at the mission. Fortunately, this wasn’t Naked and Afraid (though we would love to see how the Duggars handled those circumstances) so no one died. The guys went golfing later, where Ben shot a 21 in one hole, while the cratfy girls made jewelry to wear during the upcoming ceremony. The excitement never stops. Jill Duggar Pregnancy Announcement In a short segment, Jill and Derick Dillard reminded us that they are also pregnant, and that their second baby would be another boy.  Then it was more of the bachelor party, where Jinger discussed her upcoming first kiss, and her sisters shared their respective memories. Like Jill (but not Jessa), Jinger was prepared to do so in public, and while she worried that it might be a little “awkward,” she was excited. Perhaps that talk of Jinger Duggar breaking courtship rules was overblown. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth on the other hand … Jessa lamented Jinger’s wedding, not because of courtship rules, bit because she would be packing up and moving to Texas afterward. “That’s going to be really, really tough for me,” Jessa said, and it hard to blame her for being sad, living 12 hours away from her BFF. On a different note, Derick Dillard was the mascot, Pistol Pete, at OSU (they’re the Oklahoma State Cowboys), like his father before him. Taking a trip down memory lane in Stillwater, Ok., he took his mom, Jill and Israel around the campus, showing us all of his old haunts. Later, he donned the Pistol Pete costume one last time and headed out to entertain the fans, and we have to say, Der’s alter ego is fun. For Derick’s mom, it was emotional, remembering her own times there, like carving her initials with her late husband’s into wet pavement. OSU was also where she arrived at Derick’s dorm room unannounced to tell him his father had died of a heart attack when Der was 18. As we saw Israel knocking on the door of Derick’s old dorm room at the end of the night, his mom noted that they had come “full circle.” Indeed, and in a way, it’s a beautiful thing.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12: Who’s Coming Back?

A very familiar face is on her way back to Bravo. According to Us Weekly, producers have reached a deal with a former cast member to reprise her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12. So… who will it be? And will fans be happy to have her return to the mix? That depends on how you feel about…  Lydia McLaughlin ! Indeed, the Season 8 regular is apparently “excited” and prepared to hurl a bunch of insults and to mix things up once again with her fellow spoiled residents of Orange County. McLaughlin was series regular way back on Season 8, which aired its finale in September of 2013. She did not return afterward. Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino also left the series following this season, whose cast included Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow. “It’s bittersweet,” McLaughlin told Us Weekly upon her departure, adding: “I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you’re not going to end up with – it’s hard, but overall you know you’re doing the right thing.” And sometimes you end up getting back together with that boyfriend. McLaughlin has kept pretty busy since leaving Bravo, especially in her personal life. In November of 2014, she and husband Doug welcomed their third child into the world, a son named Roman. The couple then renewed its wedding vows in April of 2016 after a decade of marriage. As for The Real Housewives of Orange County itself, the series is getting closer to finalizing its Season 12 roster. We know that Meghan King Edmonds will not return after two seasons as a cast member, while Judge will be back for her tenth season. “#yes #stillahousewife,” the latter wrote on Instagram a few weeks ago as confirmation of her status. Dubrow, meanwhile, announced last month that she’s done with the show, saying via statement: “These past five years have been an incredible journey, and I’m so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture.” Bravo has not yet commented on any of these cast changes. Heck, the network has not even officially picked up the program for another season just yet. But we’re pretty darn confident it will be back. How will executives possibly explain its cancelation to the following celebrities, all of whom are on record as legitimate Real Housewives fans? Lady Gaga World Tour: Where Will It Stop?

Lady Gaga descended from the rafters of NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday night. To kick off her Super Bowl LI halftime show , the artist literally dropped down from the very top of the arena, prior to belting out a bevy of her classics for those in attendance and the millions watching at home. She danced. She played the keyboard. She even caught a football at one point. It was great. In several weeks, however, Lady Gaga may very well descend upon your hometown. Oh, yes, the singer followed up her well-reviewed halftime show with the announcement of a world tour. Titled the Joanne World Tour, these concerts will be in support her fifth studio album, Joanne. Gaga previously headlined the Fame Ball Tour (2009), the Monster Ball Tour (2009-2011), the Born This Way Ball (2012-2013), and ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball in 2014. Some may also remember that Gaga once hit the road with Tony Bennett for the Cheek to Cheek Tour (2014-2015). Will the eccentric sensation be playing at a venue near you? And when will this tour kick off?
