Brad Pitt has a lot on his plate these days. Along with Leonardo DiCaprio, he’s one of the two leads in Quentin Tarantino’s highly-anticipated Once Upon a Time in Hollywood , and while the film doesn’t hit US theaters until August, promotional duties have already brought Brad to Europe. Last week, Pitt was at Cannes for the film’s festival debut and this week he’s … still across the pond for unrelated reasons. Insiders say Pitt stayed put to attend a Venice art event celebrating his friend Thomas Houseago. That’s certainly his prerogative, and we imagine one of the many, many perks of being a world-famous multi-millionaire is going someplace exotic and then being like, “Ya know, I’m just gonna chill here for a few weeks” when it’s time to leave. It’s not bad to be Brad. But while no one is begrudging Pitt his right to jet around the world in a PJ, the actor is catching some flak for the timing of his trip. As multiple media outlets have pointed out, Brad was in Venice during the birthday of his daughter Shiloh, who turned 13 on Monday. In most families, a dad missing his daughter’s birthday so he could party with his sculptor buddy would be major cause for concern. But there are a few extenuating circumstances in Brad’s case: One, the terms of Pitt’s custody agreement with Angelina Jolie are pretty ironclad. When the kids are with her, they’re with her. He’ll supposedly have them for most of the summer once school lets out. On top of that, Shiloh has been a member of the Pitt-Jolie clan for 13 years now. We’re sure she’s used to her parents missing school recitals, birthdays, and other milestone events because they’re off doing cool sh-t in an exotic locale. The trade-off is that her parents are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, so it evens out. Of course, Brad’s time overseas has been of interest to the tabloid press for reasons that go beyond his allegedly negligent parenting. According to The Daily Mail , Pitt has been spending a lot of time in the company of a “mystery woman.” It’s important to note that “mystery woman” is the designation that the British tabloid press gives much every female who’s spotted in the company of a male celebrity. So maybe this is nothing. Or maybe it’s true love and we’re in for another round of Angelina jealousy rumors. Either way, it’s pretty clear that Brad is busy living his best life. Twin sisters Kamryn and Kaycee Hailey at West Charlotte high school were profiled by WBTV News who reports that they’re while they’ll be attending rival colleges, they’ve racked up over $1 million in scholarships. One of those scholarships is The Charlotte Post’s Top Senior scholarship , which Kaycee was awarded due to her 4.65-grade point average, work as a peer mentor and other amazing accomplishments. While she was the runner-up for the top prize, she’ll still be awarded a scholarship for her schooling this fall. Kamryn is going to be a Tarheel at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, while her sister Kaycee is set to be a Duke Blue Devil. Kamyrn is looking to pursue studying either business or communications and Kaycee is thinking about African-American studies. The two scholars are both excited to have their independence, and are excited that both their campuses are down the street from each other. “It’s nice knowing that I’m on a different campus and I get to be my own independent person, but if I ever want to see her I can just go so easily and see her,” says Kacyee. “I’m excited to see what it’s going to be like when I get to college,” says Kamryn. Should the Roloffs sell their farm? This has been the main question permeating Little People, Big World this season and it stirred up a bunch of tension between loved ones. On Tuesday night’s installment of the TLC hit, however, the in-fighting stopped for a bit because one member of this famous family faced a question not about the property’s future… … but about his own. “I’ve been having a lot of pain in my back and my legs,” Zach told the cameras early on, explaining what was happening: “There’s like a tightness to my thighs, there’s a weakness in my knees. Something’s not going right.” Yikes. That definitely does not sound right. Considering all the activity surrounding pumpkin season on the farm – as well as playing and coaching soccer and being the father of a energetic toddler – Zach wasn’t certain what could have triggered his symptoms. One second he felt fine, the next second he was actually “paralyzed for a minute,” to use his own frightening words. He got an MRI there. “It’s scary, because I can’t help him, and it’s also like we don’t know what’s causing the issue,” wife Tori Roloff confessed. Unfortunately, upon getting the results back from this big test, Zach and Tori were stunned to learn that his prognosis wasn’t very positive: Zach has been diagnosed with multilevel degenerative disc disease causing spinal stenosis. “It’s a common thing with people with achondroplasia,” Zach explained of the condition. “But average-sized people only get it when they’re like 60.” Zach is only 29. As a dwarf, his life expectancy is not very different from that of an average-sized individual; he just needs to face health issues such as this along the way. (For the record, Jackson is also a dwarf and Tori recently said the odds of their second child being a dwarf is about 50/50.) With bulging and degenerating discs in his spine pinching the nerves, Zach would need to see a spinal specialist to determine whether he would have to undergo surgery now or later. Either way, though, it’s inevitable. Something must be done to fix his spinal chord. Discovering that he would almost certainly have to undergo major surgery, Zach admitted he was “in denial,” adding: “Two months, three months ago, I was in a soccer tournament, and now I have arthritis in my back? What’s going on here?” Tori was equally freaked out, telling the camera in a confessional: “I am scared. That’s the worst case scenario in my head for him to have surgery. I’m trying really hard not to panic.” We feel awful for Zach. After all this debate about the farm and what to do about it, such a defelopment really puts things into perspective, doesn’t it? Yes, whether to sell the farm and move on is a big deal for Amy and Matt Roloff — but it’s nothing at all when compared to the well-being of their child. Woody, Buzz, and most of the original gang are learning to love their new kid, Bonnie Anderson, while Bo Peep becomes a lost toy, and we witness the “birth” of a new one. TBH, Woody was also present for the “birth” and “first steps” of the wobbling baby boy so I’m calling daddy duty, but so does director Josh Cooley. “[Woody] was obviously so important to Andy… it’s not going to be the same with Bonnie,” Cooley tells HelloBeautiful. “For Bonnie right now, Forky is so important to her, so for Woody, it’s like I can help Bonnie by mentoring this innocent character who doesn’t understand the world, so he becomes a father-figure, a mentor.” More so, Woody is very much ready for the role, as he reflects on his own personal toy journey to help Forky. “Woody actually goes internal because he’s trying to explain what it means to be such an important part of a kids life and that forces him to reflect and look back,” adds Cooley. “Woody goes to great lengths to look out for Forky, care for Forky, and do whatever he can to get him back to Bonnie,” adds Nielsen. She becomes a lost toy — any toy’s greatest fear – but she’s chosen that life of her own accord and she’s certainly empowered in doing so. Though, the Pixar team makes it known that Bo’s bold side isn’t new, it’s just another layer that’s finally coming to the top. “We went back and watched just the Bo Peep scenes from Toy Story 1 & Toy Story 2 to remind ourselves of where she came from and she’s always been tough and a leader,” says Cooley. “Ad all we did was bring her to the surface. She been through more, lets amplify it.” “She’s been out there in the world, living life on her own terms… and she’s in charge of her own destiny so thats going to toughen you up even if you are a porcelain doll,” says Nielsen. “So a lot of her personality and character with the situations she’s been in and seen, we want to reflect that side of her,” he continues. P.S. Bo Peep’s sheep will give you life. They’ve got names (Billy, Goat, and Gruff) and sassy attitudes that mirror their mom. She’s a Polly Pocket-esque character with the most infectious laugh known to man. The police officer themed-toy meets Bo Peep in the antiques mall where they become best friends, but McDimples is somewhat more than just a teeny-tiny pal. “We kind of hope she is today’s Jiminy Cricket, she’s just this important voice and conscience for Bo Peep,” says producer Jonas Rivera. The bite-sized toy easily jumps in and out of frame and land on Bo’s shoulder. “Basically Bo can have a conversation with the devil and angel on her shoulder and it can be their private moment,” adds Cooley. Jordin Sparks is the latest celeb to reveal that she battled postpartum depression after giving birth to her first child, Dana Isaiah, Jr. “Everybody knows about what postpartum depression is — maybe not exactly what it all entails because it’s different for each woman — but there’s this thing called the fourth trimester, which happens after you have your baby,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s dealing with everything that happens with your body. Sparks pointed out that battling depression after giving birth can be a lonely experience. Obviously, people in your family who knows what you’ve been through and had kids before, but sometimes it feels hard to reach out because you’re like, ‘How do I feel so lonely when this amazing thing just happened?’” The former American Idol contestant said she began to lean on one of her friends who was also a new mother. She said contacting her and just talking about how she was feeling that day was helpful because she understood how she felt. “I would talk to her and be like, ‘I feel like this today. Over the weekend, vengeful former mother-in-law Debbie Johnson gleefully claimed that Larissa Lima will be deported in the near future. But Larissa clapped back, insisting that this isn’t true. And then, on Tuesday, the 90 Day Fiance star shared a stunning piece of evidence that Debbie’s prediction was nothing but hot air. Take a look: Over the weekend, a fan asked Colt Johnson on Instagram why Larissa had not been banished to Brazil yet. Strangely, instead of responding himself, it was Debbie’s mother who answered the comment. “Everything takes time,” Debbie wrote. “There is still a domestic violence hearing next week,” she noted. “And, after that, she will be deported,” Debbie predicted. “It just takes time.” Though the post was soon taken down, 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates shared a screencap of Debbie’s claim. Larissa, too, saw Debbie’s claim — and a host of concerned messages. “I woke up this morning to find messages sent to me and posted about my legal status in the U.S.” Larissa wrote on Instagram. “This isn’t true,” she revealed. Larissa affirmed that “Everything about my status in the U.S. is confidential.” “And,” she added. “Will not be disclosed by third parties on social media that [are] not involved in any immigration process with me.” “Some of the most popular online press outlets are reporting these false statements,” Larissa observed. Notably, it was a newsworthy topic. And it’s appropriate to report one reality star’s claims about another, so long as they’re presented as claims , not facts. But Larissa felt hurt, writing: “And it has worried my family and fans.” It sounds like she also received some nasty, hateful messages, gloating over her allegedly upcoming deportation. “Everything I have received in these messages has been screenshotted and forwarded to be reviewed,” Larissa warned. “I truly respect my agreement that was signed by a judge,” Larissa expresses. “And,” she reminds her fans and followers. “I have been following it since day one.” She and Coltee are not allowed to disparage each other. For these two, that means that they’re basically not allowed to mention each other. “The lawful agreement also includes no third party defamation,” Larissa notes. “And that,” she explains. “Is the reason I do not want to talk or answer questions about my past.” “I have been trying to live my life and allow the courts to handle everything,” Larissa shares. “As it is in their hands.” “As many of you know,” she reminds her fans. “My court date is May 30th.” That is this Thursday. “It is the last and saddest chapter of my life,” Larissa notes. “And,” she emphasizes. “I want to finish it as soon as possible to finally have peace.” ‘I will not accept defamation of any kind,” Larissa declares. She then explains why she does not answer all questions or allow herself to get dragged into every single feud. “My Instagram is how I connect with fans,” she concludes. But that’s not all. On Tuesday morning, she took to Instagram to ask fans to wish her luck, as she had a very important “appointment” that day. On Tuesday afternoon, Larissa then updated her Instagram Story. Standing outside an office of US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Larissa holds a conspicuous manila folder and smiles. “Feeling positive,” she wrote. Obviously, we don’t know exactly what she was doing, and it may be some time before she shares the details. But if this means that she will get to remain in the US, that is fantastic news! Letterman even takes a trip to KimYe’s crib where he tries on pieces from the Yeezy collection, to Kim’s approval. “You look really good,” Kim tells him. That’s what we do, we tell our story and then people relate to that story.” But then, he adds, people latch onto that story and get mad when it goes in a direction they don’t expect. “I have a friend who told me that my power is my influence,” Kanye continues. “And I said my power is my ability to not be influenced.” Letterman follows with, “Wow, this is pretty good.” The interview also addresses Kanye’s mental health issues, which he describes thusly: “When you’re bipolar, you have the potential to ramp up and it can take you to a point where you start acting erratic, as TMZ would put it,” the rapper says, referencing his on-air meltdown at that outlet’s offices last year. Ye, who stopped taking his medication a year ago, argues that his disease likely fuels his creativity: “If you guys want these crazy ideas and these crazy stages and this crazy music and this crazy way of thinking,” he says, “there’s a chance if might come from a crazy person.” Of course we saved the best for last… Letterman doesn’t ask Kanye about Trump, Kanye brings up that relationship on his own: In the midst of an argument about his “fear” as a man during the #MeToo movement, Kanye says, “This is like my thing with Trump—we don’t have to feel the same way, but we have the right to feel what we feel.” When he wears his “Make America Great Again” hat, he says it’s “not about politics” but rather an attempt to break the stigma around showing support for Trump. “Did you vote for Trump?” Letterman asks him. “I’ve never voted in my life,” Kanye answers. “Then you don’t have a say in this,” Letterman shoots back to cheers from the audience. Kanye responds, “Well you got me, you got me,” before going on his anti-13th Amendment rant that drew Trump’s praise and may or may not have been inspired by conservative activist Candace Owens. From there, Letterman tries to get Kanye to condemn the Republican-led voter suppression efforts during the most recent midterm elections. “So if I see a person that I admire talking about Donald Trump can think whatever he does,” he says, “I wonder if those thoughts, indirectly, aren’t hurting people who are already being hurt.” Instead of addressing Letterman’s point, Kanye turns around and expresses sympathy for Trump voters who are “treated like enemies of America because that’s what they felt.” After Letterman makes his forceful case against the idea that Trump is some sort of savior to those who voted for him, Kanye takes a long pause. “Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat?” he asks eventually. Asked who is doing the bulk of the bullying in America right now, he replies, “Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!” YIKES… But according to the Daily Beast, Ye kinda manages to redeem himself by revealing some of his James Turrell-inspired Sunday Service project.
