Young has indeed had more time to spend with his family recently after the Denver Nuggets waived the point guard after just four games back in December. We have that type of friendship.” The announcement of baby number three came as a surprise to many fans, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t in the plans all along. Brian Austin Green did not make a public statement after Luke Perry passed away . Because many people on the Internet are horrible and judgmental, the actor was raked over the social media coals by some folks as a result of this decision. Green addressed the stupid criticism in a recent statement . But it turns out that the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star did have a poignant reaction to the sudden death of his ex-colleague and close friend, one he shared with podcast listeners late last week. “I texted him after he passed, knowing obviously that he can’t text me back but on some level, hoping that he would text me back, or that he was out there somewhere,” Green explained to listeners. Green, of course, who starred as David Silver alongside Perry’s Dylan McKay on the long-running Fox drama. These will forever be the roles for which both celebrities are best known. Green went on to say that he knows Perry is out there, somewhere, somehow, adding: “I know he’s looking down and I know he’s smiling.” Perry tragically died on March 4, five days after he suffered a massive stroke. According to most reports shortly afterward, he never regained consciousness following this incident — but he was at least surrounded by loved ones when he left this planet. “Luke was a special guy,” Green says. “I’m still mourning over it, so there’s a part of me that’s kind of shocked that I’m speaking about Luke this way/ “We all knew that at some point we’d have to deal with losing cast members and friends, but not this soon. Not at 52. Not in such an abrupt way.” Tributes to Perry have come pourning in ever since he passed away. The actor impacted so many lives, from those he scarcely knew — did you read this amazing story from Colin Hanks ? — to those alongside whom he worked for years; on 90210 and/or Riverdale and/or many other projects in between. “Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years … God please give him a seat close to to you, he deserves it,” Tweeted Ian Ziering a couple weeks ago. Added Shannen Doherty, who had just recently starting spending time with Perry again: “I’m struggling with this loss and am having a hard time with my thoughts. But, my heart goes out to his family and friends who were blessed by his light in their (and mine) lives. “Processing this is impossible right now.” Green clearly feels the same way. “Luke was one of those people nobody had a bad story about. He was just a great guy,” he said on his podcast, concluding: “And he was Luke no matter where you saw him, no matter when you saw him, no matter what he was going through. According to ABC Action News , Britney Deas was elected to become the student body president at the Tampa-based school, making her the first Black woman to be appointed to the position. She hopes that her accomplishment inspires underrepresented individuals to change the status quo and boldly step into spaces that they’ve historically been locked out of. “Being the first African American female to hold the position is awesome. You know, I love to be that representation. Being the first female in 20 years is just as great because it shows that we’re moving forward,” she said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “If you want something, you go and you do it. You try and do it. There’s nothing stopping you but yourself.” Among the top issues on Deas’ agenda is combatting homelessness amongst the student population and creating resources for individuals battling with mental illness issues. Source: South_agency / Getty Woman Fakes Her Own Death To Avoid Breaking Up With Boyfriend A 37-year-old woman from Wuhan–in central China’s Hubei Province–was recently arrested after it was revealed that she had faked her own kidnapping and murder in order to avoid having to break up with her boyfriend. According to Oddity Central , the woman surnamed Yu, had been dating her boyfriend, Lin, for a while, but she only learned that he was poor after visiting his home during the Chinese New Year. Apparently, this was something she just couldn’t get over, so she decided to leave him–but fearing that he would refuse her rejection, Yu devised a plan to make herself completely disappear. Shortly after returning from the disappointing visit to Lin’s home town, Yu disappeared from the couple’s dormitory at the Huangpi Jiahai Industrial Park, and a few minutes later, she called her boyfriend to tell him that she had been kidnapped by her ex-husband. “Come and save me, my ex-husband has kidnapped me. Come quickly! I think I’m on the highway already,” she said before abruptly ending the call. To make her kidnapping seem more believable, Yu then sent her boyfriend several text messages pretending to be her kidnapper, warning him that she would be killed if he dared call the police. She proceeded to follow up with even more texts, informing Lin that she had been killed and her body had was thrown in a lake. Unable to negotiate with the “kidnapper”, Lin eventually called the police. Local police started investigating surveillance footage in Wuhan and were able to track down Yu to a small motel in the Tenglong district. But, when they arrived on the scene, officers were shocked to find the alleged victim casually lying on the bed, watching TV. When questioned by police about her kidnapping, the “surprisingly calm” woman told them that she had recently found out that her boyfriend was poor, and that she had faked her own kidnapping and murder, hoping that he would just “give up” and move on with his life. Yu added that she had initially planned to trick her boyfriend into leaving the dormitory so she could sneak back in, pack her things, and then disappear, but after realizing that Lin had the only key to the place, she devised the kidnapping plan instead. According to the Wuhan Evening News, Yu has been detained by police for 10 days for disrupting social order.

As previously reported on numerous occasions, Mackenzie Standifer has no plans to divorce Ryan Edwards. But it doesn’t sound as if she’s anxious for her law-breaking husband to return home, either. Edwards – who is Maci Bookout’s ex, the father of her son Bentley and a former Teen Mom cast member – is currently behind bars. He was arrested in December for larceny and also for heroin possession, marking at least the third time he has been apprehended by police on drug charges. Teen Mom OG alum was taken into custody in Hamilton County, Tennessee, on January 23 and charged with theft of services. According to police documents, Edwards allegedly walked out of a bar without paying his $36 bill in December — and the bartender called police. The bartender reportedly recognized Edwards from his previous mugshots, prompting his arrest. At the time, Edwards was also booked on a previous heroin possession charge stemming from an outstanding warrant. A few days later, the Red Bank County clerk’s office confirmed that Edwards appeared in court and that his case was continued until April 15… when Edwards will be brought back for judgment. Until then, he will continue to serve time in county prison. Now, back to Mackenzie… She seems “more relaxed with Ryan gone and not so much on edge,” an insider now tells Radar Online . This same source continues of Mackenzie: “She’s being more like her old self, where she is more down to earth and not in defense mode all the time.” That latter point does seem relevant these days. Standifer has clearly been annoyed of late by constant questions about her marriage, as most fans wonder why the heck she’s sticking by Ryan’s side. He wasn’t even around for her birth last fall, as Mackenzie welcomed the couple’s son, Jagger, with her husband checked into a rehab facility. “Are you and Ryan divorced?” a fan asked Standifer on social medi last last month, to which she replied with clear irritation: “Hell no!” Other reports have claimed that Mackenzie isn’t thrilled with Ryan’s behavior, but that she also believes in him, loves him and has never even contemplated a break-up.
